It was pretty empty for a Monday night. The new owners were auditioning potential performers to draw business to the bar. Other than that, the music provided by Sly Johnson got the few people in attendance up and dancing. Had a great time and the drinks are reasonably priced.

It was nice of the owner and usual suspects to give this dude ranch bar over to celebrate a Black History Cultural Event called: Stepping. This form comes from Chicago with pioneer djs Herb Kent and Sam Chatman back when it was called bopping in the 1940's. It is phenomenal that it has reached Las Vegas. Some of the great names include Taboo, Jannice Robertson, Ty Skippy, Alfred Hampton, Celeste and Kerry Manardia. Making a special appearance DJ Casper!

The best place for country western dancing! Great band! No cover charge and cheap drink prices!!

The bartenders are running a scam giving drinks to their friends, when you gamble. They get very upset when you confront them. I was refused water when requested. The new owners are getting scammed and don’t even know it. Claim you must gamble $20 to get a comp… the place is drug filled scam center. Waiters and waitresses are greedy and have their own scams running… The bar has gone downhill. I have been going there for years and the change was sudden. Not going back!

Fri Jan 20, 2023..We went there to enjoy the country music..when Bobby was at the drums the music was fantsstic...THEN..they took a break. A new drummer came on the sound turned up so LOUD it hurt your ears. They added more hard metal to the music. People quit dancing... SAD...NO need to have music that loud in such a small area..you had to yell if you wanted to talk and there were people who were there just to enjoy a drink and visit. Bobby you need to tell your band.. loud does not make a better band. We left before our ears were damaged. We came all the way from St. George just to enjoy the Country music you use to offer. Tonight was a huge disappointment after the first hour. Pam

I was not here long i went for a late midnight cocktail with my friend for her birthday on a Friday night about midnight maybe even 1a.m. it was a neighborhood bar. I didn't notice any food but they could have had a kitchen. But I didn't notice. We sat at the bar after I used the ATM. This was one of those tricky ATMs when you put your card in and enter your pin it asks if you want your balance, maybe it asks if you want to use a credit card first but it did ask something like that. Anyway when it ask if you want your balance for your checking say no. There will be no other option. It looks like it will say goodbye if you say no. This they WILL charge you $3.50 for then it shut off with out asking if you want to withdrawal any money. Then there you are $3.50 later wondering if you did something wrong cause you've been drinking. I did it again. I know you pick no. Then it takes you to your withdrawal options for checking if you did not pick credit. And it won't let you pick anything but the amounts shown to you. If you pick other you will be told your amount is invalid but thank goodness you won't be charged for starting over. Then once again it will tell you this transaction cost their fee and it is in addition to what your bank will charge you. Then it will ask you if you want a receipt for your transaction say no it will charge a separate fee even if it emails you one. Then back to the bar. If you gamble drinks are free and I am uncertain if it was a band or if it was karaoke. I didn't see a band but they guy up there was really good and it didn't seem like any one else got a turn, but like I said we went for one drink. Big dance floor, and oddly it did not appear to be a country bar. The guy was not singing country music while I was there about 4 songs. I would go back though it looked like a fun local bar. Such a fun place. Great staff... Audi the bartender is a sweetheart . The band is amazing!! We just started to learn how to 2 step and line dance, here. We are so happy we found this little gem!

I don't often think to write a review on a business although I should when I come across fine owners such as Bobby Kingston. I have decided to write this review after reading John D.'s review from last night. I have always found Bobby to be humble and he is always thanking his customers and making sure they are having a good time. To label him as arrogant is simply unfair and a pre judgement. Bobby Kingston is one of the most stand up business owners in the Vegas area that I know. He truly cares about his patrons. I looked at John D's Yelp profile and as I expected has written considerably more negative reviews. I have had a few not so great visits with other businesses, we all have but in John D's case, I don't feel he stopped to consider the reason for the late start of the band or the reason Bobby may have come across distracted at the moment John introduced himself but if he had thought about it and paid attention he would have figured it out. Your dance lesson started late therefore your dance lessons ran late which in turn put the rest of the evening a "little" behind. You also must not have noticed that a close friend of Bobby Kingston had passed away and he had taken a few moments to allow family/friends to speak about their loved one they lost. How did you miss that John D.? Also, I saw nothing arrogant or disrespectful with Bobby's attitude at all that night, nor any other time for that matter and I am sure he was sober as he sure carried himself that way. I have had far too many 5 star worthy visits to Saddles n Spurs to read that review and not feel the need to point out how unfair his review was. You could've chose to write a solid review based on the fact you were there for the dance lessons and while they got started late, Bobby was caring enough that he allowed the night to run 10 mins late to allow you the full lesson. Just goes to show you see a glass as half empty. To be fair, I would love to see you re think about the evening with a more positive outlook and consider the generous things he did for your dance lessons and the family/friends of a passing loved one and make another visit before writing your review. If people have what they deem as a negative experience at a business, they should always bring it to the attention of the owner to remedy it and then decide how to review. I am certain John D didn't do this as I know Bobby would've made sure to make sure you felt welcome and wanted to return. Have a heart John D.

We went dancing on a Friday night in Vegas. We were looking for line dancing and this place popped up. The atmosphere is very "dive bar" and the band was really good!! However, I think we came on the wrong night because the band played one country song and then nothing but oldies. The bartender was suuuuuuper slow. My friends waited 10 minutes each for their drinks and then getting another was super difficult. We stayed for about an hour and a half. It was fun, but not what we were looking for and the drinks should flow faster.

Let start out by saying kitchen was never open on the multiple time i visited, rayanne was amazing until i came back one day and she was "let go" which is what the new girl told me, after i asked about rayanne the bartander was rude and unattentive which is wierd cuz i was 1 of 2 people in there, to sum it up ill never go back I hope the owners are happy with their decision.

After going for my first time, I really liked the vibe. Music in the background, friendly locals and good drinks. So I decided to come back and bring some people with me. I couldn't believe how rude the bartender was. I was just asking to see what kind of food they had since I've not really been here. Again, very rude. I will try it one more time but will not bring anyone with me until I feel this place has a better attitude. I really like the atmosphere in itself. I would hate not to have to come here or recommend it to my friends because of the attitude of this place. See you soon!

I had two enjoyable evenings at Saddle N Spurs Saloon listening to a good western band and a wonderful evening listening to a number of Blues bands. The food was good along with the drinks. I am going to be back there again.

This place is a hole in the wall, but they have live music every night! It's your standard bar, with standard bar food (chicken fingers, etc). I come here because every wednesday there is a local open jam night for the musicians in town. It's a great way to check out the local talent as there is no cover fee. The service is friendly but less than stellar. They have your average draft and bottled beers, nothing craft. It's a cool little place to hang out when you want to have a beer with friends and unwind.

We want Cage back! Saturdays just aren't the same without Cage anymore. You should really bring him back!

On a trip down to Vegas I searched for a place doing open jams and found SNS Saloon. Contacted Bobby and he let me know when and who to talk to. Brien and Tom were gracious and figured out where I would fit in. Ended up playing the blues jam on Sunday night and went back on Monday night for the Classic Rock jam. What a good time. The only reason there isn't a 5 is because they had run out of food. LOL! That was the only thing missing for us. Even got the T-shirt. Oh, and one from the Las Vegas Blues Society as well. Some awfully talented folks to get to play music with. Thanks folks.

Great bar and very good drink prices. If you're tired of getting gouged on the Vegas Strip, I suggest you go here but, if you're a line dancer, this place is not for you! They do real cowboy dancin' here. The band is awesome! Everyone is super nice too from Bobby down through the staff! It would've gotten 5 stars if it weren't for the smoky atmosphere...

Crap service... I had to finally yell to get a damn drink at the bar then she tried to ignore me again. How freaking hard is it to get a beer in a bar? Guess your haggard bartender thought men to ip better... not impressed!!

Absolutely awful walked in no one there and they were playing awful gross rap music vs country music!!! Yuck!!!!!

I recently walked in there over Memorial Day Weekend while my friends were up to something else. I was greeted by a beyond friendly bartender Fiona ? who had short black hair. She greeted me, shock my hand and told me about the place. Reminded me of the Cowboy Palace in Chatsworth CA. Will definitely return next time I am in town.

Awesome atmosphere and great people. Kitchen does open at 4 so if you plan on going earlier, I high suggest eating first. I went for lunch as I'm new to the area, but the bartender was great. Gave her one of my cards to hold for tab as I went to get some lunch. I will definitely be back.

The bar atmosphere is there, but the service? Not good in the least. Maybe you might get better service during the week from a single bartender? Not sure why there would be only one bartender on a Friday night. Seems that would be one of the busiest nights, where you could and definitely should have at least two. We waited for 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged, another 5 before we were asked what we wanted. Seems this skinny middle aged lady with reddish brown hair was a little overwhelmed, or maybe she was just too busy telling everyone she was the manager, while rudely ignoring others. I would have been embarrassed to claim to be the manager, when there were obviously many that were not being served while she was running around frazzled.

Trying to see a menu for some to go food. They don't have one on their website and when it says to go to the restaurants website that is part of them there is nothing there. I guess they won't be getting our business tonight!

Drinks are ok besides the nasty sprite on the gun, but the karaoke sucks. The host is more into being a DJ than actually letting people sing...I get mixing it up, but if you're having karaoke, you have to actually Let people sing.

This place is great for country music. Is good for dancing. There's never a cover but there's always live music. The drinks are reasonable priced. The parking lot is usually pretty full and when the band is on the house is packed!! They have drink specials and this place does serve food!

Great Wednesday night! Free dance lessons from Teddy & his wife, $1 wings and Karaoke starts at 8pm! It definitely skews older but it's a fun little dive for a random night when you're looking to get out of the house. If you're going for the wings, be sure to order early because they run out of the sauces pretty fast. I had the Spicy Honey BBQ and they were delicious! Another pro tip: just buy a pitcher of beer if you're going to be drinking it all night-- cheaper than even the happy hour special. Also, if you're interested in Karaoke, be sure to sign up for your songs AS SOON as they set up. There are a lot of regulars who come here, and I signed up maybe 20 minutes after it started and they were going to have me wait another 30-40 minutes to sing my song. I checked in and ended up cancelling my request because we were ready to leave. The only reason I left off a star is because they seem to be understaffed for a place that gets so busy! The bartender, Jess, is awesome-- but the bar could definitely use a second person to field orders and closing tabs. Also, smoking seems to be allowed inside in the bar area and it's pretty heavy smelling/not a lot of ventilation. In fact we were dying for the AC to kick in all night because it started getting hot and stuffy.

Great place. A group of us went Saturday night to dance. We had a great time. Reasonable prices at the bar. We didn't see food at all but had seen that they had it online. Not sure about that part. Maybe it was next door. We all enjoyed ourselves. I have to say the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star was only because it was hard dealing with someone smoking a cigar near the dance floor. It made it hard to deal with. Thankfully the person was not doing that all night. The entire crowd there were all very friendly. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend. If we go back soon we will investigate the restraunt better as well.

What can I say! I love this bar. Great owners, great staff! Great bands! I love the atmosphere! Awesome place to watch sports!

Pretty clean "dive bar". My first time here, doing a little karaoke on the way home on a Monday night. Cash only bar with good prices. I'll come back if I'm in the area. :) Update 8/11- ...and we did! Went back on Wednesday night. Apparently they have karaoke Mon-Wed. More good prices at the bar, and a friendly crowd.

Best honky-tonk bar in all of Las Vegas. Very caring and staff and house band featuring Bobby Kingston.

Whether or not it's an authentic 'honky tonk' bar is speculative, and since I'm not an expert on such things, I'll only stick to facts. I recently visited the establishment with friends on a Saturday night, staying from 9PM - 1AM. The place was never crowded, which was a good thing, however it was pretty smoky inside and when I left, the cigarette smoke was all over me & my clothes, forcing me to take a shower before going to bed, and washing my clothes right away. A glass of Blue Moon beer was $5.75. I'll let you make up your own mind as to whether or not that's a reasonable price. I ordered a 'Texas Toast' grilled cheese sandwich for about $8. It arrived about 10 minutes later. When a reasonable person envisions a "Texas Toast" sandwich, I believe they expect it to be fairly large. The reality at this place is its two small pieces of regular bread (about 4"x4"). Not only did I notice it's diminutive size, but my friends noticed it too, and I made the joke that I should have asked them to cut the bread crust off for me, due to it being the size of a sandwich made for a kindergartner. They need to change the name of it to "Rhode Island Toast" before Texas sues them for defamation... To compensate for the small sandwich, there was a large amount of battered French fries to occupy the large amount of leftover space in the basket. As small as it was, the sandwich tasted very good (it's hard to screw up a grilled cheese) however the fries were clearly the frozen variety, not cooked properly, and bland. Thank god for ketchup... By about 11PM that Saturday night, the place had mostly cleared out. Not surprising, since much of the clientele there prior was up there in years (60s & 70s). Unless there's a particular music act playing there that you really want to see, I don't recommend this place. I understand it changed ownership in the recent past -- I wish the new owner well, but I won't be back.

Tues afternoon, about 7pm, at the end of Happy Hour. $2 bud light draft. Pretty empty, so when the music started, the locals came in. As mentioned before, it's a white hair majority locals place, so it was nice to see how friendly they were, but as a salt-n-pepper hair, I was looking for any ladies near my age. Nope. As I left around 8, a few ladies under 50 walked in, along with some couples. You go there to dance and visit, so I'll try on a better night. It was reported by a regular patron that Friday nights are best, with Wed night dance lessons as second best. It WAS getting more smokers as the hour drew closer to 8pm, so I left - it bothers me.

Went in there for first time to check out some jazz music. Chill spot and great service! Would come here again.

One of my favorite bars to go to when I'm with friends service is amazing and occasion rub chicken wings are the best shut out to settlers and Spurs keep the good work a fabulous two thumbs up

This is the best bar around anyplace. Great Food. Great Drinks. Reasonble prices. Great Music. Fun place to dance. They know my name here. Walking distance from my home. You have got to go today for a great time. Hey dont forget all of the TVs here for all of your sports viewing.

Dance floor like glass! Best dance floor ever! Band was great, on Friday, Mint 400 weekend! Had a great time! Ruby, our rockabilly waitress is adorable! Seriously thinking this is where we party next year, for our 20th wedding anniversary!

Fun, casual, informal local bar. Varied entertainment almost nightly. One never knows what will be going on on the stage: someone from the crowd joining in, a professional playing his instrument, an amateur, a classic band? Comfortable, inviting atmosphere for drinks and live music.

Saturday February 8th 6:35 p.m is when I arrived here I've been coming here for the past month or so after work or sometimes in the morning I'm usually greeted by a bartender named Sam very nice and outgoing. But tonight a white lady with black hair wearing a hat & golden knights shirt the bartender was rude an unpleasant. I waited patiently as she finished to others orders as they walked off I assumed she was going to take my order her friends come off the dance floor and she's like starts talking with them takes their order doesn't acknowledge me and I'm sitting right in front of her someone else then walks in a bar and she speaks with them and tells them she will be right with him she then walks down there and gets his order see me to take him a beer she then comes to me and tells me I'll be right with you walks off again then comes back and it's like what would you like I say it's about time I've been patiently waiting while you took other people's order that came after me she looked at me and walked off keep in mind im the only black female in this establishment I will no longer be attending this bar even if it is close to me. The disrespect. Her name is Jess

I forgot how hard it is to breathe in such a smokey place. So if you smoke and drink and like good music it's 5 stars. Me on the other hand I don't mind a drink or two but I am not a fan of smoking at all. I've lasted an hour here so far so we shall see. I'm a foodie so a place with no food is not the place for me. Plenty of seating and a good looking dance floor. With a name like this you know there a good time ahead

We try to attend the blues events here as often as possible, which means as often as I am willing to deal with the smoke. We had a terrific time last Sunday listening to Monk and the Po Boys with a bunch of regulars. We were made to feel welcome and Bobby Kingston, the owner dropped by our table. It was one of the rare times when only one person was smoking anywhere near us so an hour turned into three. We love the bands that play here and the jams. I know the owner has invested in air filters but we can't always count on them. The food is good, the vibe is great, the dance floor is huge. Every one is friendly.

Awesome place. Not to many businesses like this one in town anymore. Whenever I'm here I never have a bad time. Drinks are reasonably cheap and good. They offer food usually to midnight with a very nice menu. Live music, karaoke and dance lessons are available depending on the day. Great staff too I usually go on Wednesdays and when I do I always enjoy the great service of Will and Liz. Great service all around, friendly and helpful. Definitely never a bad night there when I go.

Great entertainment, everyone is friendly, reasonable prices but the food is worse than typical bar fare.

This is the *only* honky-tonk in town. Come here when you're ready to be rowdy, dance, drink cheap, or all of the above! There's always music - live and karaoke both. Country and classic rock lovers will feel right at home. Be prepared for smoke. Non-smokers may struggle with the smokey atmosphere.

Disclaimer: this place gets 5 stars because I walked away with a free beer! Me and a buddy decided to go this "hole in the wall" bar...drive by all the time and the name always catches my attention. We walk in and there's only 1 other customer inside and a female bartender. We ordered 2 beers and as she hands them to us my buddy hands her his credit card. The gentleman customer sitting a few chairs away chuckles and says to the woman bartender, "looks like you got some new warm bodies!" we probably both looked puzzled and what seemed like a really long awkward pause between my friend and the bartender...she finally said no cards just cash. ATM is down..feel free to finish your beers and be on your way. Again the man chuckled. We chugged our drinks and headed to a bar that took credit cards. I went in a few days later and handed the same woman a $20 she seemed very happy but I dont think she remembered me haha

This place is great. Locals have a place to call home and in itself reminds me of country clubs back in Texas. Always something going on in the evenings with live bands. Bobby Kingston Band and Randy Anderson Band bring the country....not the pop country, the 2-steppin/line dancin goodies we all love. The only thing I suggest is getting down country and throw those pint glasses out and get mason jars for draft. Bobby, Melissa...they're on sale on amazon and google, li'l over a buck a glass (48 wide mouths for $55)

Awful place. Met my friend to go dancing but was kicked out because we would not order drinks. Neither of us drink alcohol and we just wanted to have a night of dancing. The music was super twangy so we were just waiting for the Dj to come on. Had the music been good we would have bought a water or something. The loud mouth that kicked us out was super rude, overly dramatic and basically just had no customer service at all. I understand you don't have a cover, but you shouldn't try to force people to drink. She said they had to pay for the band.... like you pay them? Lol. I wouldn't! The place was slow so it wasn't like we were taking up precious space. She lied saying we were there for 2 hours, we had been there no more than an hour.... we had more people on the way too which would have bought drinks... oh well. The place stinks of smoke (like it hadn't been cleaned since they moved in,) shitty music and a shitty staff.

Went on a the graveyard shift. Still busy due to karaoke, and yet the service at the bar was still quick. Good stuff!

Hopefully this place is better a night . . . but we were here during the late morning . . . and did we get looked at very strangely by the regulars all sitting at the bar . . . it was full by the way . . . and it was kinda creepy. Thought if we found two seats at the bar . . . we would get people telling us to get out of Betsy's and Carl's seats or something. The set-up looked pretty good for a local band to play and would probably be good for that . . . problem is . . . when I am in Las Vegas . . . I spend evening at the hotel and casino I am staying at. Bottom line . . . I probably won't be back . . .

I wish I could give then a zero. First time here. Came in never greeted. Waited several minutes before we were even asked what we wanted. Bartender never into herself. Very rude. Our drinks are empty no service TERRIBLE TERRIBLE asking for the check never coming back. DO NO GO THERE

I'm gonna give this place another shot it's gonna be my 3rd time I wish they could Maybe get something to help with the smoke in the bar cause you stink like smoke bad when u leave. I don't like bashing the place but last time I was there I felt like the owner was to good to talk to. I'll c what happens next time if it sucks again I let it be known. It's kind of funny that Laura b has to control free speech and experiences of other people I guess if you eat something Laura B I taste it so leave my name out of your stuff please
