"Formerly an ice factory, this small eatery retains some of the interior structure and incorporates vintage décor in a dining room decorated with basic wooden furniture and collectibles. The chef embraces seasonal Thai ingredients, especially fruit, to produce unique, signature dishes in a home-cooking style, such as strawberry salad with shrimp paste and caramelised pork and spicy plum mango salad. The crab meat with fresh herbs and spicy sauce is unmissable." - Michelin Inspector

So glad we managed to get a reservation! The food was amazing — especially the yellow curry with guava, the spicy rice vermicelli salad, and the stir-fried squid in black sauce. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Eating here was so much fun and delicious. Definitely makes me want to come back again and again! 😋🍛

A legendary spot where the long wait is absolutely worth it “Saeng Tha Tian” is honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Every dish is packed with flavor the kind that makes you nod after the first bite because it’s just that good. One thing to know in advance: the wait is LONG. You have to write your name down and wait for the owner to call you back, which usually takes about one full year. But once you finally get your turn, you’ll understand why people are willing to wait that long. The food is truly exceptional. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly, which adds so much warmth to the whole experience. I’ve already been here four times, and every visit has been just as impressive as the first. The only small downside is finding parking, since the area around Tha Tien can be crowded. But aside from that, everything else is perfect the food, the service, the vibe.

Special Thai food that you should try. It's worth waiting in line. Local ingredients are combined with flavors. Some dishes may be too spicy for those who can't eat spicy food. The food comes in sets every two months and the menu changes regularly.

Sang Tha Tian is a Michelin Guide gem serving authentic and unique Thai cuisine in a cozy, intimate setting. The dishes are bursting with bold, spicy flavors, featuring specialties you won’t find elsewhere. Every bite is fresh and unforgettable, but the small space means reservations are a must. A must-visit for Thai food lovers

If you’re craving an authentic Thai family meal, Sang Thatien is the place to go. Walking into this spot feels like being invited into a local Thai home for dinner, with such a warm and cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at ease. There’s no signboard outside, so I hesitated for a moment before stepping in, but that hidden vibe only adds to its charm. This place seems to be a favorite among locals because the night I visited, the small dining area was filled entirely with Thai guests. I heard it’s so popular that they’re fully booked until the end of the year. They don’t have a fixed menu, which I found so unique. Instead, the chef serves whatever they’ve prepared for the day, and this month’s dishes were inspired by Isaan cuisine, the region famous for Somtum. The table was soon covered with a variety of dishes, each one looking more delicious than the last. I wanted to try everything, but there was so much food that I ended up too full to finish it all, which was a bit of a shame. The dish that stood out the most for me was the strawberry salad paired with caramelized pork. It was such an unexpected combination, yet the flavors worked so well together. Another highlight was the durian curry. I was a bit nervous to try it at first because durian can be intense, but it turned out to be amazing. The durian added a subtle, creamy richness with a light fragrance, and it was cooked with pork belly that reminded me of a comforting braised dish. The grilled river prawns and a crispy fried fish were also incredibly flavorful and left me wanting more. For such an incredible dining experience, the price felt very reasonable at around 1300 THB per person. If you’re looking for a true taste of Thai home cooking in a setting that feels like a local’s dining room, this place is a must-visit. Just be sure to book well in advance!

Good as always! The food is just as amazing now as it was a year ago when I first ate here. My top 3 favorite dishes are in the post, and the crispy fried fish with chili paste is particularly outstanding.

Very popular Thai cuisine, all dishes are delicious, use local and fresh ingredients in the cooking, mix durian and mangosteen for a nice touch - see pictures It is a small restaurant and limited space between seating, chair is small Beware: reservation only! No parking

Lives up to its word-of-mouth reputation—tasty, bold, and made with high-quality ingredients. The eclectic rustic decor adds charm, and the set menu offers a dynamic mix of Thai dishes, making it a well-balanced and flavorful meal. While some places may have standout dishes, every single menu item here delivers. The downside? It’s incredibly hard to book, and there’s no parking, so you’ll either need luck finding a spot nearby or be ready to park further away and walk or take a tuk-tuk. Recommended if someone invites you, but not worth stressing over just to get a table.
