Incredible Flavors and Elegant Vibes at Safar by Karimi 🥘✨ We had a wonderful dining experience at Safar by Karimi in Cupertino, focusing entirely on their vegetarian selection. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing a beautiful blend of traditional roots and modern finesse. We started with the Mango Burrata Chaat, which was a true masterpiece—the creamy burrata paired with tangy mango and spiced sauce was such a refreshing and unique combination 🥭🧀. For the mains, the Paneer Dil Ruba was incredibly rich and flavorful, while the Makai Shorba provided a comforting, nutty sweetness with its charred corn and almond puree 🌽🥣. The Amritsari Paratha was another highlight, perfectly flaky and the ideal accompaniment to the bold sauces. The upscale yet cozy atmosphere made the evening feel special, and the hospitality was top-notch. If you’re looking for high-quality, creative vegetarian Indian cuisine in the South Bay, this place is a must-visit! 🍛👌

Safar by Karimi was such a great halal dining experience from start to finish. We tried a lot of the menu, and honestly, everything impressed us. The Paata Chaat was truly unique — fluffy yogurt, excellent chutneys, and flavors that really stood out. The chicken lollipops are a must-order (highly recommend), and the Texas chicken kebab was another standout with a bold buffalo kick — a smoky, spicy, tangy fusion take on tandoori chicken. The Angaar-E-Boti featured thick slivers of beef, char-grilled with bold kebab spices and crushed pepper — very flavorful with a unique seasoning. The malai nalli curry was rich yet mellow, and the meat literally fell off the bone. We also loved the Murgh Badami Khaas, with chicken kheema baked into the chicken breast and finished in a tomato-based curry — comforting and delicious. For dessert, the coffee tres leches was the perfect ending. Service was amazing — our server was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. We came for a birthday dinner, and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a nice touch. The restaurant itself is chic and definitely a great spot for a special occasion and plenty of parking!! My only small nit is that while the décor is beautiful, the lighting is a bit bright — dimmer lights and some background music would really elevate the dinner vibe. The menu is huge, the mocktails were great, and overall, everything we tried was excellent. Highly recommend Safar by Karimi if you’re looking for bold flavors, thoughtful service, and a memorable meal.

Visited Safar for dinner . Our reservation was late at 9:30 pm. We were in time still they asked us to wait for 10 minutes. Table was good. Decor is great. We ordered Malai Gola kebab ,Laganu chicken, Rumali Roti, Mutton Biryani and Daulat ki chaat as dessert. They gave us pani puri with different filling for starting as on the house dish and it was delicious. Malai Gola kebab and biryani were great. Laganu chicken is in green paste and we thought that can be better. Rumali Roti was really bad it felt like undercooked tortillas. It was not thin and soft as you get back home. Daulat ki chaat was a really interesting item made with milk foam but we were so full we couldn’t justify it. Finally they took ample of time to get our check so we were clueless and just sitting there for long time so someone can pay attention to us. Overall it’s an expensive restaurant but doesn’t justify or gives you that amazing experience.

We had a great time at Safar yesterday. Fortunately, we got the same server as our last visit - Bhanu!! He is super friendly and his recommendations are spot on. Last time, he suggested Murgh Badami Khaas which was unique and absolutely delicious, so we had to order it again this visit too and it did not disappoint. We also loved Paan patta chaat and burnt chilli chicken lollipops! The pistachio lava cake was definitely the highlight, again Bhanu’s suggestion! Overall great food, great service, would definitely recommend and will come back again!

I had an excellent experience at Safar by Karimi. The food was rich in flavor and beautifully prepared, especially the paan patta chaat, which was amazing. The BBQ Bhatti chicken and Safar KFC chicken were highlights, perfectly cooked and full of taste. The menu offers an impressive variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone. The service was attentive and courteous, adding to the overall experience. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting.

Lovely dining experience at Safar by Karimi. Our family had a great celebration treat at the place. I loved the ambience, food quality, portions and very knowledgeable hosts. I will be going back again and also sharing with my friends to not miss out. All items we tried were amazing and enjoyable.

Came here the second time. Bhanu took our order, explained us the flavors, recommended top-picks without forcing us to order us a certain dish. He also gave us a complimentary parle-G ice-cream. Great guy! For starters, we had Galauti kebab, paan patta chaat. Kebabs had melt-in-mouth texture. Paan patta chaat is a desi culinary innovation - light and rich in layers of flavor. For mains, we opted for Junglee Maas and bread basket- not too spicy and captures the authenticity. For drinks, we went for thandai and Kokum shockwave. Both were delicious and worth trying.

We heard about this place and decided to try it out. Our server Makayla was very friendly and nice. We tried the mango burrata, KFC chicken, bhatti murgh, chicken shorba, shockwave (tamarind drink), Lagan chicken, Goan shrimp and berry pulao. Most of the dishes had great flavor except the pulao which tasted bland. And like some other reviews, most of the food did not come out hot (they were warm at best). Given the prices, would be a nice place for occasions not a regular stop for meals.
