The bakery is amazing! I ordered this custom cake for my sister’s birthday and even when I added the roses at the last moment they were super helpful and accommodating. My sister and everyone in the family loved it, it’s so pretty. Thank you!

Google
Every time i stop by I check out what cakes are in the case. Someone extremely talented is making them. I got a monster cake for my bday and couldnt be happier!

Great worship band and entertaining & life changing teaching. Also no traditional offering. Efficient communion set up. Christ centeredness through out all services and extra activities and groups. Very modern and beautiful facilities.

Gregory M.

Google
Safeway is always a safe bet for high quality produce, meat, bakery, and deli food. They also have great checkers and helpful employees. Five star experience here.

Google

Google
Just your average grocery store. The thing I love, though, is their selection of grab and go items. They always have a large selection of cold deli items and tons of fresh cut fruit for a quick healthy meal. Offerings include many sandwiches and wraps, mixed snack trays, deli salads, many varieties of fried chicken, sushi, and cut fresh fruit. They also offer custom sandwiches, sushi platters, and hot Chinese food in addition to all their regular deli case selections.

Google
I think the place is really pretty. Just about anything I would ever want I can find it there. I would give this place 5 stars but, I consider this grocery store is quite pricey. I go here for convenience but, for big grocery runs I go to other places.

Milton Milanoski I.

Google
I read in anothers review of this Safeway as a "fun" place to grocery shop. There are some great supermarkets in the area, so I having recently moved downtown from Springfield would give it a go. Of the many words I have that describe shopping here "fun" is not one of them. At best it was a struggle. The staff are wonderful, patient. But the selection is small, and sparse, small store, narrow aisles. I didnt feel unsafe, but I definitely was on a heightened sense of my surroundings and where i parked etc. More pricey than most. Parking lot is chaotic. Clientele is mostly college students not on a budget lol. This store wins the "highest risk to get caught if you shoplift " award. Just an observation, not based on experience. Lol. This is my desperado store ... When I am too tired or unwilling to drive farther for what I need in desperation I might shop here.

Yelp
Safeway on 18th Ave has had some Chicago level theft ongoing. They've installed a gate, you go in with your cart and you don't go back out. The Chinese food at this Safeway is extraordinary! I just had another 5.99 entree with teriyaki noodles. The produce is good but not as good as MOC. The prices are very good especially if you install the app and take advantage of $5 Friday. I definitely have enjoyed their bbq on special holidays and Duck home games. The staff have worked in this location for a good long while. They are kind. I appreciate the SBux workers there too!

Yelp
This Safeway is ok. There is a kind of gate to get in (and maybe out? I can't recall) and perhaps that's something they added into every Safeway (since I don't live in the area anymore I don't get to Safeway often) or if it's something that's a theft deterrent since South is just a block away and lots of kids come here on their lunch. But other than that, it's a Safeway like most other Safeways--with the exception of the parking lot. It's terrible. If you enter from 18th, your inclination is to turn right at the first opportunity once you're in the lot but that's actually going the wrong way. It's so weird to me to find just about any parking lot with diagonal parking any longer since that's less efficient parking, but I guess maybe this lot is too old (a grocery has been here for over 60 years) and thus too small to have better parking. It's just annoying getting in and out, and it's tight to drive around, so it's not my favorite. But they have order pick up and that makes it worth a trip.

Damon R.

Yelp
The employee TOM (bald head works in the self checkout usually) is always amazingly helpful happy and tolerant !!!! Even on a busy day when the place is chaos for the holidays he shines and is as helpful as always! He is one of the reasons I shop there

George V.

Yelp
Inside was clean and easy to get around. The staff was friendly and even is we were from California, lol. Product was well organized, hot food looked great.

Yelp
Use the app. It is finally working pretty well. There are some 'digital' specials which you take a picture of using the UPC code on the home screen. FREEbies using rewards vary: apple juice, avocado, yogurt....

Yelp
I had my covid booster scheduled today for the past two weeks because I work 40 hours a week & scheduled it for when I had time. When I get there "the pharmacist isn't feeling well" so I had to just leave. I got turned away from my appointment that I had had with no call or email. We'll I did get an email but it was a confirmation email for my appointment. LOL I get the world we live in these days but a call would've been nice because I have wasted my morning instead of actually getting my Covid booster shot. I called on my way there & got no answer then got turned away when I got there at my scheduled time. I will not be returning to any Safeway or Albertsons etc for the rest of my life & that may be short considering I did not get boosted at my scheduled time. Thanks for nothing.

Yelp
The store director Marc Carlson is so bad at his job. He's rude and he's completely disrespectful and all together a giant douche. Even one of the employees agreed with me and laughed with me about it. I wouldn't support this location. There's so many other Safeway's and grocery stores in and around salem anyway. Lets support the ones with friendly management and positive vibes. That's the way business works best. Not the other way around.

Alison M.

Yelp
This place has the best breakfast burritos in town. The deli has an amazing selection of Chinese food and hot foods. Perfect for dinner or snack

Yelp
Cashiers push buying donation certificates and rounding up to the next dollar for more donations. I`m a disabled Veteran and Safeway does nothing for us.

Yelp
Safeway Friday their vegetable selection is good. I like their just for u coupons. Try their chicken in the deli

Yelp
Visiting from out of town: I went to this store because I was looking for something that was Safeway brand specific, but never found it. Wanted to try their O brand olive oil, veggies & eggs. The vegetables we horrible, bad shape, & selection substandard. The eggs didn't seem to come in cartons of 12 or 6, only 18 or more. I never did find the olive oil section. The signage over the rows was hard to read, white letters on black with poor lighting. At that point, and especially because of poor veggie quality & selection I left without purchase. During the next week I shopped & made purchases at Trader Joe's & Whole Foods to feed my family.

Yelp
I stopped at Safeway today to pick up lettuce and some flowers forMother's Day. Found out that there was only a single checkout line operating and the waiting line extended halfway down the product aisle. No "3's A Crowd" announcement at this store, apparently!

Alex L.

Yelp
The security staff threatened us over a printer error because of my race. If the cashier or security looked at the machine for more than 5 seconds they would have seen we paid, instead they chased us down like we were criminals and didn't even apologize for threatening us over nothing! Really disappointing to see after being a regular customer for over a year, definitely not coming back.

Kim M.

Yelp
The worst pharmacy. Some young kid told me the line stops after the guy in front of you, after standing there for awhile. He was obviously having a bad day and should not be in customer service/relations business with his rude attitude. This kid needs some people, kindness skills.
google avatar

Arianna J.

Yelp
This is a good store for quick pick-ups and a Starbucks fix. Do not waste more than 10-15 minutes shopping here. Head to an Albertsons, Fred Meyer, or Target instead. The chaotic environment and rude employees make shopping here upsetting. The employee that I have not had a decent encounter with is Natasha (sorry for the name dropping). Very recently, I went into the store for dinner items and we had a very uncomfortable conversation. She had a dry greeting and made no conversation. I could also probably count how many times she rolled her eyes. A few of the workers at the express lanes also act like you are bothering them when the computer is acting up. It is not our fault your systems require additional help. Do not waste your time. Again, last-minute stops only :)

Alex J.

Yelp
Waited in line for 20 minutes to return a bottle of salt I bought yesterday. The manager, Micheal, proceeded to checkout the person purchasing cigarettes in front of me. I then asked if he could help me with my return and he said "I'm of afraid not" with an attitude while making a funny face. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on your customers.
google avatar

Hannah B.

Yelp
I asked the cashier if she could please apply two digital coupons to my small amount of groceries (maybe $20 worth of food). I asked her for the digital coupons before she rang up the specific items, and clarified that I don't have room to download the Safeway app on my phone. She told me the digital coupons will come off with the rewards card. She may have been new so I politely told her I don't have the app, so I don't think they will come up with just my rewards card. So then she told me that I need the app to get the digital coupons. At this point she just stared at me in an empty silence, which was embarrassing as there were other customers behind me. As if she just expected me to stop asking. So I told her a second time that I don't have enough storage on my phone to download the app for Safeway. She stopped saying anything to me and in a huff she scanned the digital coupons from the ad. This experience was like pulling teeth for something so simple. She acted as though I was taking money out of her own pocket. If someone doesn't have the Safeway app, the reason is besides the point, give the customer the digital coupon if they ask for it. I work at a grocery store and we always price override digital coupons, for anyone. If I put up an argument with a customer or tried to avoid giving them the digital price, I would be in deep shit with my manager.

Yelp
I am so. tired of this Safeway in particular. I usually. come. here. to get some food in the morning and am almost always disappointed. Today I waited 10 minutes behind the counter calling for an employee but. she stayed out of sight in the kitchen, doing whatever. I did not get helped until a different employee walked by and asked. if i had been helped and I said no. This was really annoying and goes to show how bad employees they have or they are. terrible at training. They are also never stocked on donuts in the morning which is pathetic. However, they are. some of the worst Safeway donuts I have ever had. You can do much better than this Safeway.

Erin Q.

Yelp
Best customer service in Eugene! Marc mngr is wonderful, as well as PM mngr Tom! Best pharmacy I've ever had! Christian, floral dept mngr is a amazing floral artist! I highly recommend this Safeway on 18th!

Yelp
The Customer Service I received at this location in Eugene, Oregon was fantastic! It was early morning hours and I'm staying here at my Air B&B. I'm from California and needed some items to store at my lodge. I had a tough time finding my way around the store and every single employee was helpful and was able to make reccommendations! More specifically, Robert from the Meat Dept. Robert saw me lost and looking up and down the aisles for product. He asked if I needed help finding anything? I asked him about coffee filters, he left his meat counter to come over and assist me. I knew it wasn't his department, but he still walked me to the item. He was cheerful about it and asked if I needed anything else. Please acknowledge Robert and thank him for his excellent service.

Yelp
I shop here very regularly because it's my neighborhood grocery store, but this store is WAY TOO SMALL for how many people shop here. It is located near a large high school where kids often like to grab stuff for lunch/after school snacks. It's near busy Downtown Eugene as well as the very densely populated West University Neighborhood. Most of the employees are friendly enough but I almost always feel frustrated by something or other when I'm here. I don't know if it's Safeway in general or just this particular store, but I am often overcharged for items, so it's a good idea to check your receipt. I have started to take in my receipt for reimbursement when I find price discrepancies because I'm just sick of paying more than advertised. It's 9:30 on a Sunday night and I really need to go grocery shopping, but knowing just how crowded this store likely is, I think I'll wait to do my grocery shopping at 7 in the morning or so. Of course, that's when you have to deal with shelf stockers blocking the aisles with big boxes, etc. UPDATE: They've by now installed ghastly way-too-bright fluorescent tube lighting throughout the store making for an already unpleasant shopping experience even worse. The new bright fluorescent lighting is really, really bad! UPDATE #2: They're undergoing some minor remodeling. Things have been moved around, but as mentioned, it's a small store ao it shouldn't take long to get uses to. They FINALLY installed self-checkout machines. Yet to be seen if they help cut down on checkout wait times with UO just now starting to get back in session.

Yelp
Had running dispute with my partner about whether the Safeway on 18th is the worst grocery store in EUG. I used to defend it, but too many things are poorly done to continue shopping there. Recently went in to buy four items, and came out with one of them. Next time will just go to a different store. Things that Safeway needs to address: 1) Wine prices: WAAY over market, unless you have a Safeway card, which is REALLY annoying for the intermittent shopper. Also, the way the prices are marked is extremely misleading: gives the impression that everything is 'on sale' (i.e. priced at the Eug. market standard), when in fact those are the 'member' prices. This is the PNW; there's no excuse for overpaying on wine. Buy it elsewhere. 2) Organic produce: ALSO appallingly over-priced. Market of Choice is much, much cheaper for organics, and that's saying something given how costly MoC is for most stuff. Again, Oregon is too bountiful to waste money on mediocre produce. 3) Organization of produce section: unnecessarily confusing. For example, once went to buy avocados, and Safeway had all different varietals, organic and conventional, jumbled together in the same shelf. The prices were dramatically different, so when I got up to pay, I had a shock and had to go BACK and get other avocados, then stand in line *all over again* to buy them. Ultimately, Safeway is unreliable; having to go elsewhere to get stuff Safeway fails to provide or over-charges for, is a complete wast of my time. There are too many other, better grocery stores in town to put up with the ridiculous Safeway shenanigans (including Albertson's ironically enough as it is now a Safeway subsidiary); shop elsewhere! [Aside lament: really too bad Hannigan's didn't make it; as far as mainstream grocery stores go, I thought it was great!]
google avatar

Conor M.

Yelp
Safeway offers everything I need to get my groceries. It's close by and the staff is great. Coming from a town where the grocery stores are hectic this is amazing. I always come to Safeway to get everything I need.

Alix S.

Yelp
Pharmacy was extremely rude and were very clearly talking about us in front of us, then wouldn't acknowledge it when we asked about it. I think it was because my partner was not smiling or being animated while talking to them, and overall it seemed misogynistic. :( if I could give this a zero I would, worst grocery store I've ever been gaslit in
google avatar

Case V.

Yelp
Some of the staff here is very nice. That's the only plus that I will give this Safeway. On my most recent trip, I bought a watermelon. When I ate it two days later, I threw up for about five minutes. I then noticed there were white spots all along the edges! My roommate once went here, and reported that most of the strawberries were starting to grow mold. Also, the area that sells microwave pasta meals/premade salads immediately on the right as you enter contain some products that expired recently or are a few days from going bad. Yikes! I also once saw some calzones that had been opened. Over in the salad dressing aisle, I had to check about ten bottles to get what I wanted because about half of them were months past their expiration date. Overall I am disappointed that Safeway emphasizes the quantity of selections you can make in the store, yet doesnt seem to care about throwing away the foods that make you sick. do not go here, you have been warned.

Peter W.

Yelp
This is the place to get the Delta variant! This store doesn't even pretend to enforce the mask mandate. I'd guess about a third of customers had no mask at all (not a pretense like pulling up their t-shirts over their face). At the automatic checkout, there was no place to stand not in the breathing space of someone without a mask, in full view of store employees and managers. If you really want breakthrough Covid, or to give it to someone with an underlying condition, this is it!-- Suicide Safeway!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
I don't know what it is about this particular Safeway but I always dread going here. Constant traffic jams in the parking lot, sketchy people hanging out at the entrance just waiting to harass you for something and the store itself being poorly organized are a few things I can't stand. I feel like every time I go in there I can never find anything I need and always have to search for an employee to point me in the right direction. My cashier always ends up being a spaced out 19 year old or a really sweet older lady. Besides all these things it's your standard Safeway.
google avatar

Mark A.

Yelp
Dear angry old lady who is always (and I mean always) working the checkout line, Why do you do this to me? Every week I do my grocery shopping at your Safeway--not because it's awesome or the prices are great, (they're not) but because it's the only thing any bus lines near my house will even go remotely close to--and I get a muffin with my groceries. Every week I put the muffin at the end of my groceries to make sure it's the last thing put in a bag, and every week I watch as you somehow manage to put the muffin at the bottom of a fresh bag and then proceed to crush it with the rest of my groceries. The prices at this Safeway are atrocious, the employees scarce and not very helpful, and the checkout lines are constantly backed up and understaffed. Yet every week I head towards the checkout with my muffin, thinking that this will be the week I get to savor the goodness of a non-squished muffin to make up for the pain of coming to Safeway. But you live to crush my dreams. (and my muffins) I'd like to tell you to stop squishing my muffins, but you seem pretty cranky already, and you're already the only person ever working the severely understaffed checkout lines, so I can't afford to get on your bad side, angry old checkout lady.

Yelp
First impression - parking lot. Small and crowded. one ways down the lanes and out of the lot. Im already irritated before I even enter the store!! Second part - There is absolutely no rhyme or reason on how this store is set up. I walk up and down looking for a specific item. dodging all the groups of college kids shopping. Then half the things I am looking for are not even available. Finale - Lines. lines. lines. I swear there are 20 people in every line!! and there are plenty of lines open. ** The one good thing to earn the one star ** The beer and wine isles (opposite ends of the store) are always deserted and plenty stocked. No one is old enough to purchase alcohol.

Yelp
This place is horrible we bought chicken strips in the deli and found a long blonde hair baked into the breading of the chicken and they were for my 3 yr old. so we went in a showed marc the store manager and we requested a refund since we didn't and were not going to feed em my kid and Marc said he couldnt refund our money cuz we already to the food outside the store. mark was very unprofessional, very rude and didn't even apologize. His own employees even have told me that they don't even like working under or for him.

Yelp
If ya gave this place any more than one star, ya trippin! Piss stankin parking lot, out of things constantly, looooong checkout lines, nasty floors and store. The employees are usually smug, emotionless, and careless with the exception of one or two of em. Theyll put a 20oz box of cereal on sale for $2.50 but the 12oz box will not be on sale at $4! Shop smart, especially if ya have to do it here! Whoever runs this 'store' should be given a medal...grimiest grocery store in Eugene, great job! From the parking lot to the bathrooms and everything in between...im just gunna short ya Safeway stock right down to zero!! Hey but 10 for 10 Crystal Geyser gallons are nice---when they actually have some on the shelf!
google avatar

Hunter S.

Yelp
Okay, this is the only grocery store Ive ever been in across several continents where the bathrooms locked up, you have to ask for a key, and the checkout lady and bagger boy can't be bothered to stop their conversation long enough that you don't just whiz on the floor to spite them. I wish I was exaggerating. Im still angry. NO, I *won't* buy something first, then wait in line to ask the lady at "customer service" (ironic phrase in this store) for a code so I don't force a "cleanup on aisle 3." HINT! Use the employees bathroom in the back - go to the back right side of the store, through the doors and up the stairs. Hear the Mission Impossible theme in your mind, ninja-piss as fast as you can, and laugh as you take your $ elsewhere. There's a drug store next door to grab a soda at. Sorry if fratboys (ugh) ruined this store for everyone else, but Ive never been treated so badly at a large chain grocery store. Really bad. PS other reviews mention the Angry Old Checkout Lady (yep, she was rude to me, too, and there late on a Friday) and the piss-stinkin' parking lot (which I believe is because said Angry Old Checkout Lady denies you indoor plumbing). I wish I was making this up. Surreal how bad this place is. And its a Safeway, for goodness sake. At least at Safeway in Oakland (Oakland!), you get treated like a human being.

Yelp
If you are accustomed to the whole foods-esque shopping experience at Market of Choice than this Safeway is going to be a culture shock to you. I have a feeling a lot of the negative reviews are as a result of this. This Safeway is more akin to the grocery stores of old (late 90's). You can find a good range of items from organic produce (which is not that expensive) to those items that are frowned upon at such stores as Market of Choice (I have received several negative comments about my purchases at Market of Choice), the preprocessed, imitation high fructose injected goodness of Oreos and anything else you are looking for. The aisles do feel a little too cramped and dark and the clientele can bothersome at times (I'm looking at you late night drunk college students) but overall this is a good classic grocery store. The employees are nice, its the nearest thing we have to a large grocery store downtown and is open late (1am).
google avatar

Mahla S.

Yelp
They were so nice to my Mom here when she locked her keys in the car. The pharmacy let her use the phone to call me and tell me that she would be two hours late and to call Triple A to come rescue her. They let her sit in the waiting area and the nice cashier actually gave her 50 extra cents to give her to get her bagel while she waited. Triple A showed up and the day was rescued! :)
google avatar

Terry S.

Yelp
Overpriced, barley any healthy items in the entire store. Long lines at check out. Crackheads outside every day. The only good quality is it's open until 2am.
google avatar

Raylin M.

Yelp
Just wanted to share so had the best customer service from the floral manager Michelle at the Safeway in Eugene Oregon . Over the phone I was able to place a delivery order for beautiful arrangement and balloons she even went to the bakery to personalize a birthday cupcake for my daughter. She went the extra mile that I know I'd never get anywhere else . I had told her I was also a floral manager and it's like she just went above and beyond at one point she had not been un able to read my contact phone number so she called a few stores and one in Pinole by chance an employee there knew me and directed her to my store contact . Working for Safeway I have come across many clerks who like myself will go that extra mile for a customer but I feel it's so rewarding when you are recognized and treated with that extra touch I love my safeway family now I've extended it to Oregon.
google avatar

Meg T.

Yelp
This Safeway is on the small side which is unfortunate because it's the grocery store of choice for the huge student population surrounding it, making it pretty crowded at times. During the lighter hours you can expect to spend 2-3 minutes waiting to check out, but in the evenings or around lunch it's usually more like 10-20 minutes, which is a pain when the checkout lanes are so short that the 2nd person waiting ends up in the main aisle. The parking lot is also something of a nightmare (too few spaces + very cramped) and the area outside the store is pretty filthy. That said, the product selection is decent and the prices aren't bad if you're a conscientious shopper and keep an eye out for sales and coupons. The pharmacy staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all, this Safeway definitely could be better, but it could also be worse, and the convenience factor is going to keep bringing in customers regardless.
google avatar

Brad C.

Yelp
I don't like this Safeway, it is ridiculously expensive and chronically understaffed. Lines can stack up for no reason with no backup cashiers. The selection is poor and quality is low. The store does stay open late for the neighborhood so that's good. Try Albertsons, try Freddies, try Market of Choice, do anything to avoid having to shop at this place. Good for late night beer runs on campus.
google avatar

Mauriana S.

Yelp
I just had an amazing experience with a cashier named Tom, he was very friendly and kind while still being fast and helpful. I hope this guy gets a raise, he deserves it.

Yelp
I really hate to hate on Safeway because there are some really nice Safeway's - the one in Menlo Park CA is amazing! However, this Safeway is the worst one I've ever been to. It has low lighting, small isles and not only low selection, but terrible quality produce. If you're going there to pick up one or two items, it is not that bad. If you're trying to buy your whole week / two weeks / three / month worth of groceries then I would not recommend it. The worst thing is that this Safeway is in such a convenient location -- it's smack dab in the middle of where the college students live. You would think they would spruce it up a little bit. A couple years ago they had a grand reopening, but the place looked exactly the same to me. And during that opening, we had a woman chase my friends and me down with meat. It was so uncomfortable, that it was funny. It doesn't feel clean, it doesn't look nice and I would recommend going to either the Albertson's or Trader Joes in Eugene instead...
google avatar

Greg H.

Yelp
Out of all the Safeways I've been to, this one ranks right near the bottom. This is a busy store that overstocks their shelves to hazardous levels. With the amount of traffic going in and out of the place, they should have no problems with expiration dates, yet the rotation of product is nonexistent. There's lots of expired products on the shelves, in coolers, and a shocking amount in the freezers. This has to be a management issue because most Safeways do a better job at rotating product. That said, if you buy product there and pick the front-most product on the shelf, you're probably getting the freshest thing they have since the workers just stuff the shelf with new product while product in the back of the shelf sits there for over a year. Check the expiration dates of what you buy at this store anyway. This store is small and in a busy part of town. There isn't enough parking to handle the number of customers that visit during peak shopping hours. If you can, go to the Safeway on Coburg Road instead, or even the one on 40th St is run better. The 2 Safeways in Springfield are also good choices, and the one in Junction City is nice as well and a good place to use your gas rewards.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
This is a clean safeway with a nice variety of natural, organic foods and amenities. They have a great pharmacy that has taken competitor's coupons such as- bring in a new script and we'll give you a $25 gift card. Just call to check to see if that promotion is still going on. You can save a good amount with the safeway shopper card, so sign up. The prices are more expensive than Albertson's, but I think their produce is fresher and the store in general, nicer. If you have an injury and are looking to use to electric scooter (that was me this summer) they only have 1, which is absurd.

Yelp
Good for a quick stop if you need an item fast. Does not have the best selection of vegetables and meat but plenty of packaged and ready food
google avatar

Sami C.

Yelp
Stabucks here is awsome. Deli personal are very polight and serve quickly. Produce ckerks very helpful. Meat counter very efficient. The bakery was also helpful and had fresh bagels ready. Very nice cashier. Very pleased with this small store... Seafood salad in the Deli is really good quality

Joshua S.

Yelp
Never have I ever seen a less effectively run organization in my entire life. I'm convinced that this is the height of human incompetence. Lines here are consistently 15-20 min long while employees sit back and watch as their counterparts bumble their way though the unbelievably simple task of ringing up an order, preferring to jest while lines move at pace so mind numbingly slow you truly have to bear witness to the spectacle that it is. Furthermore, by some foolhardy notion, the baggers are all under the impression that they are to put as much as the possibly can into a single bag. They will load it so full as to warrant telling customers "careful with that bag, it probably won't hold up" ...well then. Please enlighten me as to why you thought you should try loading the bag that way? Is one torn bag really, truly better than two slightly less full bags? I'd wager not. I can confidently say that the residents of West Campus would be better served by an empty lot than by the atrocity that currently stands on this site.

Yelp
This specific review is for their sushi. I know you wouldn't think grocery store sushi would be anything anyone would want to get close too but it's delicious. Try it out sometime!

Yelp
Not enough checkers. :( 7:30 on a Sunday night and 10 people in line waiting to pay. Pretty store but understaffed.

Yelp
Im not a safeway fan as it is. But this one really sucks. Prices are high as usual, and the bums that hang out around this place really adds a depressing touch. Every time i've been here the lines have been crazy long, and the wait for anything from the deli has been just as crazy long too. The last chicken strips I got from here were SO HARD AND STALE that when I threw them out the window it knocked a volkswagon bus on to it's side!!!! Ok.......Not really.....but you get the picture. Just another reason i hate this place. Booooo!

Yelp
Safeway is great because it's close to my apartment and stays open till 2am. I have had some trouble finding what I'm looking for because the selection isn't the best. I would say it's overall a decent grocery store and the staff is friendly and helpful. It can be crowded and there isn't much parking. I went yesterday and it was a nightmare because of how busy it was.
