Safeway Spruce Grove

2 stars for helpful staff. A deli made chicken and rice dish made with a meat, I honestly was not sure if it was chicken!! Dark gray in colour with bread crumb that tasted raw. 50% off baked beans ... at $4!! Even $2 would have been pricey. Most places are cheaper for fresh produce. The pharmacy is well run. Always helpful staff.

Need new bakery staff, patiently waited for the lady to finish packing the bread, after 5mins! Still no help, then she walked right past me even after I said excuse me kindly- no hello, no customer service very rude lady they hired now! Go to save on foods nicer and faster service there

I just want to give a shout out to Sami in their floral department, she helped me put together a fantastic ‘Welcome Home’ gift basket for my daughter who was coming back from Australia. I was overwhelmed at her helpfulness and creativity 🥰

They are doing renovations (May 2022). It's becoming nice. They reopen August 11, 2022. I got a $10 gift card which I used to contribute $9 bag for my local food bank. The store looks very modern, the layout is spacious. A lot of product selection. You could fine some at discount. Inside the store there is a already prepared food section with a lot of variety. Today I donated for our veterans. Lest not forget! They now use scene+ points.

This Safeway is very clean and well stocked. It’s so nice to see a deli department that sparkles as it should. Friendly atmosphere and they carry local produce which we love. Wide selection of hummus and deli items. The meat section is also very clean and well stocked. The whole store is clean and bright. Friendly helpful staff

It's not the most convenient place for us but we appreciate the effort they put in to holidays like Mother's Day and Valentines. They always have a large selection of flowers and potted plants. I make this my first stop for these occasions.

Seems to be an excellent food store, I will give it 4 stars until I am sure it was not a lucky day

I'm so happy with the flowers my husband bought me for our Anniversary. I've had them now for 8 days and they look nicer than the day he bought them. We have purchased many flowers from many different flower shops but so far this place is the best.we are so happy with the service and the product. Thank you, we'll be back.

I went to the store quick this morning to grab a few things , and was made aware (I think in a joking way) about it being 9 am and that I bought all unhealthy stuff except apples. This young man had to share with me how much junk I bought, and asked if that was my goal. I do not think it should be acceptable to be joking/being rude about what someone is buying. Yes is wasn't the healthiest stuff, but no cashier should be commenting about me buying "all junk except apples" honestly I was speechless.

This location makes awesome subs. Way better then subway or Quiznos. Their prices are great. Check them out next time your hungry for lunch. The ladies working there are always friendly and helpful.

This is our second favourite grocery store in Spruce Grove (first being Save-On-Foods). I really like that they have a Starbucks inside. Today though, they had a baracade products blocking a stop at Starbucks on the way out. All of the staff is friendly, the produce is fresh, and they are well stocked. However, the washroom is absolutely filthy every single time I've had the unfortunate need to use it. Not just unclean, literally filthy like you've stumbled into the bathroom of a late night scummy bar downtown. Not a good look.

Staff at this location are always very friendly and helpful. Especially the pharmacy. I live in Stony Plain and prefer to drive to this location rather than visit the Safeway that is closest to me.

Went to the pharmacy after having a difficult experience at a different pharmacy. The staff was great, very willing to help and went out of their way to do what they could.
