Saffron Doha

I went to Saffron Thai yesterday for my birthday, and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. The ambience and vibe were just beautiful 🥰💞 perfect for a special evening. Our waitress, Suphapon, was so warm and sweet. She patiently walked us through the vegetarian options (much needed!) and kept a smile on her face the whole time. That really set the tone for the evening.✨️🎄 The food was really good, and since it was my birthday, they surprised us with a couple of complimentary items 🥰. The chef even came out personally to wish me, which made me feel so special. For dessert, they gave us this gorgeous presentation with dry ice — smoky and dramatic, like a little show at the table.✨️🎋 It is a bit on the expensive side, but honestly, totally worth it for the experience. The dishes were presented beautifully. My husband picked this place as his birthday treat for me, and I’m so glad he did. A really memorable evening 💖🎍

I had a fantastic lunch here. The staff were warm and friendly. Food arrived pretty quickly and was absolutely delicious. I ordered an appetizer and a main dish, along with a juice. Will definitely be coming back for more.

On September 9, I joined the Thai Festival at Saffron, on the 24th floor of Banyan Tree Doha, and it honestly felt like I was back in Thailand! 🇹🇭🎉 The moment I walked in, I couldn’t believe how they managed to decorate the place so beautifully it’s Qatar, but the vibe was completely Thai, down to the little details that made me forget I was in Doha. The buffet had so many choices salads, soups, noodles, and even Thai chicken rice, which was my favorite. Everything I tried tasted great. The dessert corner was amazing too, with so many options. I especially loved the Thai tea and coconut ice cream rich, sweet, and so delicious! One special moment was when the staff and chefs surprised a guest at the next table with a birthday celebration. It was so warm and fun that it made me think about celebrating my own birthday there one day. And the good news is, the Thai Festival will be back again from October 3 to 9, and I’m definitely going!

We celebrated my sister’s birthday at Saffron and had such a great time! The food was delicious (highly recommend the dumplings!), though some dishes were a bit spicy. What really made the night special was the staff—they were so friendly, accommodating, and made us feel really welcome. They even added a nice touch to the birthday, which we truly appreciated. Would definitely come again!

Edit: Need to add- you’ve got to try their Saturday brunch. It was so fun and cute the way the food is presented. Can’t wait to return. This is our favorite restaurant in Qatar. We’ve visited over 5 times, and each time the food and service is of consistent high quality. I cannot stress enough how much FLAVOR and attention to detail in the appearance is in the dishes. When we have guests visit us in Qatar, we bring them to Saffron for dinner and they are always so impressed by the food, staff and night view that overlooks the city. As I’ve previously worked in fine dining myself for several years, sometimes I have been disappointed by restaurants in Doha charging high prices and lackluster flavored food. This is never the case when we come to Saffron. From the huge flavors, range of textures and colors used in their plating, it’s evident the chef is passionate about her work. She deserves to be proud as her consistency has been unmatched, tasting her dishes time and time again as if it were our first experience- always impressionable and exciting. Especially if you are Asian missing home, the food gives you a warm feeling of familiarity and comfort. We recommend the crab curry, vegetable curry, chili prawns, prawn pad thai and duck salad ❤️

Best Thai restaurant in Qatar for sure!!!! Such a big choice of dishes, and each of them is extremely tasty. If you want to try everything, you have to come on lunch buffet, and you will be surprised! The service is at an extremely high level. Thai traditional Thai dances are performed here as well. This place is worth visiting, and we will come back again!

The dining experience itself was nothing short of amazing, with each dish carefully crafted to perfection. Compliments to the talented chef, who not only created a beautifully curated menu, from the delicious appetizers to the exquisite main course and the stunning dessert, but also took the time to personally visit our table. Her passion for her craft was evident as she presented the dessert, a true masterpiece that was both visually stunning and absolutely delectable. The combination of outstanding service, impeccable food, and a welcoming atmosphere made this celebration truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience, and I can’t wait to return for another memorable meal!
