I'm posting a 1 star because of the discrepancy in store hours. I live in Ventura County & checked the store hours before driving down. The store hours are posted as 11:00-6:00, Tuesday through Sunday. It took an hour to drive down, but I got here at 4:40pm...and the store was closed with a "Back at 11" sign. 😢😢😢 To add insult to injury, there was a large "open" sign on the storefront window facing Ventura Blvd. In short, call before going to Saffron! Don't be disappointed like I was.

I love this shop! Tabesh is the best. She is the owner of this boutique. she is very sweet person and supper helpful to her customers. I love the stuff she have at the Saffron. Very unique!

Located right next to Bacari, Saffron is a fun eclectic boutique with a vast collection of fun chic festival and resort wear. The proprietor Tabesh is incredibly warm and sweet. She made our girls day by gifting them little embroidered purses. Swing by and see Tabesh!

Are you kidding me... left work early to come to this boutique for a quick shopping run. Arrived at 12 on a Friday and the shop was closed even though it's hours are listed until 6:00 PM. What a waste of time.

Tabesh has curated such a beautiful array of East Indian treasures. Everything from traditional Indian saris to exquisite handmade jewelry. If you're looking for something special you should definitely stop by and have a look.

I love this store! What a gem of a find in the valley, really in all of LA. The pieces I've found have been made of the softest cotton and most romantic beautiful construction. I literally spend hours in here sorting through and trying things on. Everything I have ever bought I always get compliments on! The clothing is timeless yet unique, you can tell it is quality by the texture and the design/embroidery. Not fast-fashion knock offs. These are originals but you can tell that high end boho chic designers are inspired by things like this (Isabel Marant, Ulla Johnson, Vita Kin) There are some indian specific designs but many of the items seem very European in general. Breathable, flattering, & elegant! Many can be layered with other things in the store such as loose pants, skirts, or long duster jackets. I could go on about this place forever! The owner & manager are also the sweetest most friendly people. So glad to support this local business and so glad to have found this amazing shopping resource!

I always walk past Saffron and have always been intrigued by their visual presentations. I finally went in and unfortunately, it's better on the outside. Their merchandise is mostly exotic jewelry, Indian apparel and cheap tank tops and scarves thrown around for decoration. I wouldn't bother wasting your time here unless you're looking for long dangly earrings. The owner is very rude and while her employee seemed nice, she didn't seem very genuine.

Can i give even more stars? What an unexpected delight! Exquisitely crafted very fine pure Indian cotton and silk timeless/ethnic/contemporary garments and accessories nearly impossible to find anywhere else. Just amazing! Absolutely wonderful people, like stepping into another, kinder more beautiful world. What a find!

Heaven on Earth! The clothing here is some what like a Middle Eastern- Indian mixture. Everything is absolutely gorgeous and the Owner is the sweetest person. From the very minute I walked into the store she gave me her full attention and told me of all the sales going on. She even helped me pick out a few pieces. In the end I asked her I could try on one of the display clothes and she gladly took it off the mannequin for me to try on and it was a perfect fit! My card ended up by working on her machine so I had to run to the bank to get cash and she held the dress for me and wrapped it so beautifully. She saved my birthday !! I love this store!

Above and beyond. Extremely beautiful store! Crazy great selection. Reasonable pricing. Store owner was goodness and light and very helpful! More of an adventurous excursion than just a simple shopping trip. Highly recommend! I will make it a point to stop in every time I'm even within an hour's drive. Just great!!

Great boutique with a fantastic owner, Tabesh, and staff. I happened by the other day, looking for a gift for my wife's birthday. Some amazing silk, fantastic dresses, scarves, blouses, etc. Tabesh sources all the items, many from up and coming designers in India/Vietnam/SE Asia. I liked the jewelry and bought a distinctive, elegant necklace. Everyone was incredibly helpful (I'm not the best shopper!) Can't say enough. BTW, there's parking in a lot on the side.

This is a great boutique with fantastic, high quality, Indian Clothing and jewelry. The service is stellar and the owner is sweet, genuine, and extremely friendly. This is a must for people interested in a unique shopping experience.

Decided to give this place one more shot after a bad experience in the past (bait and switch on pricing). Signs all say open. Door is locked. No one answering phone. Just ready to walk away when owner came running up. Apologized profusely. Friend needed her so she had stepped away quickly. Ended up buying a beautiful piece at a decent price and given 10% off. I'll be back. Phew. I like this place. Want to keep going there. I will.

I usually come to their trunk shows, they have great selection and very unique pieces that are beautifully made, I especially love the fabrics they are light weight and high quality.

This store is amazing and very unique! My girlfriend loves the selection of jewelry. The owner is super friendly and she is always very enthusiastic about all of her merchandise and knows a lot about it. I was in the area one day and from outside it looked like such a cute place and when I went in it was the same. The owner was very sweet and friendly. Spent a lot of time with me to show all her stuff and she has beautiful unique pieces in there. I wish I lived closer so I could go there more often.

Saffron is one of those quiet, little finds that makes supporting local businesses so gratifying. A friend once told me that if you introduce yourself to owner Tabesh and tell her a bit about what you like, she'll be likely to pull boxes out of seemingly nowhere, filled with unique jewels and treasures, certain to find something to your liking. I went in once in the week before the Oscars, and found a number of celebrities shopping discreetly for jewelry and accessories for the big night. I can see why one reviewer thought the shop was full of cheap Indian tchochkes; it's a teeny spot and if you don't take the time to go through things carefully, you might leave thinking all that's there is what meets the eye. But if you look deeper and get to know the lovely owner (shocked by "Nicole A's" review; I have always found Tabesh to be absolutely charming, greeting customers with a warm hello!), you'll find a treasure trove of wonderful things w/ which to spoil yourself. I have purchased a fair bit of both fine and costume jewelry here, and enjoy all of it. Prices can be a little high, but they have sales often, that are worth waiting for.
