We went there for lunch. There were 4 of us. If you are short on time this place is not for you. It is quite a popular place and waiting for a table, I think there are about 5 of them, or waiting for take away there is almost always a lengthy wait time. The sandwich style food is good, tasty and generous in servings. We have been there a number of times and it does not disappoint. There is something on offer to suit just about anyone. if you happen to still have the room after eating there are beautiful pastries cakes, which are quite decadent and scrumptious. We got 4 of them and took the back to eat later. Unfortunately I didn't get photos of the individual ones we got but there was a beautiful Tiramisu Carrot Cake slice, Thor & cheesy scroll. They were great Inside SAGA sound tends to amplify & it can get very noisy making conversation a little difficult. Great place for food.

A beloved inner west cafe owner by the legendary chef Andrew Bowdy. Their desserts were definitely the highlight. Couldn't get enough of the complex and wonderful flavours of the cakes. We also had lunch there and our dishes were hearty, tasty and delicious. Highly recommended

Have been wanting to try this place for a while, so was happy to get a table. All of the cakes looked beautiful, so it was hard to only just choose one. My favourite was the vanilla slice with passionfruit. I also tried all of the 'tall' cakes plus the choux bun. There were lots of other fresh pastries that I'll have to try another time. This venue also serves light meals as well if you want something savoury. Coffees and drinks were good. Overall service staff were friendly and the cakes were reasonably priced, so will definelty be back!

Saga has been on my must-visit list for ages, but it’s unfortunate that I could only make it during their final week of operation. Despite that, the pastries lived up to their enticing appearance and the numerous positive reviews and recommendations. Finally, I had the chance to visit Saga last Sunday. I made sure to arrive as early as possible, but due to the overwhelming popularity of the place, half of the items on the menu were already sold out. I completely understand why they’re so busy though, as the place is truly awesome. The sandwiches they serve are fantastic, with great flavors and generous portions. We tried the brekkie sanga without bacon, and it was incredibly delicious. The hashbrown had a perfect crispy crunch, and the barbecue sauce elevated the entire experience. Saga offers something to suit everyone’s taste. Their beautiful patisserie, and cakes are decadent and scrumptious. It’s remarkable to see such high-quality food and pastries coming out of Saga. For dessert, the banana cream pie is my ultimate choice. I enjoyed it with a dollop of whipped cream. The tomato tart and pest scroll are also worth mentioning they were amazing Really sad these guys are closing down but wishing them all the best

A very popular joint that is known for its desserts which are truly mouthwatering. Overall for the me the brunch lacked the flavours we now expect with Sydney cafes. I would rate it 3 star meals with 6 star desserts.

This is one of my most loved cafes in Sydney. Coffee is great! Dessert is unbelievable and was to be expected. Everything we tried was fantastic. My favourite was the cheesecake. What surprised me was how delicious the sandwiches were. I had the mushroom toastie and it was unlike anything I've tasted as a sandwich.

I don't give 5 stars often but this place is amazing!! I had an eggplant parmi roll for lunch. Absolutely delicious, robust and full of flavour. My friend bought me 2 desserts to take away, banana cream pie andthe Cherry ripe one. The banana cream pie is pretty much my perfect dessert. I'm usually more of a savoury person but I'm in love with this dessert. The Cherry ripe is so flavoursome too. I had it with whipped cream. I never knew desserts could be this could. Highly recommend checking this place out!!!

We’ve heard about this place plenty of times and I’m unsure why it took us so long to visit. Though it’s probably for good reason, for we’d otherwise be the size of a house. The food here is incredible and those pastries are so so good, we could probably devour everything in store. At the end of Enmore Road in Enmore, you’ll find this narrow little shop, unassuming from the front, with a row of picnic style tables. Although for the moment, seating is not possible with the Covid restrictions, the food is perfect to takeaway. Follow the tables to the counter to find the cabinet of patisserie goods and baked items. Visionary behind this venture is Andy Bowdy, pastry chef who worked at Hartsyard and now the master at Saga. Crispy and sugary palmiers, croissant based vegemite scrolls and cinnamon butter doused brioche buns or home made raspberry jam filled donuts. The donuts had the right amount of crispy outer dough and a fluffy filling with a generous portion of raspberry jam. We also enjoyed the salted honey tart, with its crusty pie pastry and sweet filling. Have we got your attention yet? The savoury stuff was my favourite. We were lucky to arrive as they pulled the focaccia out of the oven (close to 10am) and this was the freshest focaccia I’ve tasted. Opting for the fennel and onion, the bread was light and fluffy with the perfect amount of olive oil. There was also a potato, rosemary and capsicum option and I understand the toppings change. Don’t forget that this place is known for its beautifully decorated cakes. Pete’s Pavlova or the fig cake and the most amazing vanilla slice I ever did see (with passionfruit jelly and cream). Coffee wise, I was happy to see them using a favourite of mine, Artificer which really rounded this off into being the perfect visit. Saga does do a range of sandwiches and paninis, though we were blinded by the sugar and we’ll leave that for our next visit. Oh, and a bourbon milkshake too.

Yelp
I wanted to try this little place and I was extremely disappointed. The desserts looked amazing but their customer service was absolutely awful. Zero friendliness, they don't care about welcoming, explaining or simply making sure one feels like a value customer. They appeared to only be interested in taking your money. I do not recommend it unless you like awful customer service and only care about enjoying the delicious desserts.

Yelp
Walked around newtown/ enmore area and settled at Saga Enmore for lunch. We had a short wait and got seated at a shared table. From the display: ham and cheese roll, the salted honey tart. From the menu: Napa cabbage with labneh, roasted apricots, peanuts and caramelized tahini sauce. This was the perfect amount for 2 people! The cabbage salad was so good - light yet savory because of the peanuts and tahini. The salted honey tart was a standout with a crisp tart with a balance of saltiness and sweetness in the eggy tart. Would 100% go back!

Yelp
Literally the best sandwich and tiramisu I've ever had in my life. From America and this was honestly best meal I had during my 5 week stay. People were really nice too. Such a cute spot, will be back before I leave. I made a yelp account just to write how good it was.

Yelp
What a find! Iced tea and coffees are delicious and the desserts are special treats. Trying to find our way back to have the amazing banana cream pie and can't wait to try my sons favorite cinnamon roll.

Yelp
Ridonculous desserts for that moment that calls for ultimate indulgence. Believe it or not we shared one of their tiny cakes 8 ways once and still left generally satisfied. Don't try to tackle one on your own, that's just glutinous
