I love Saga and always manage to get a cute piece here each time I’m in town visiting family. I have found unique, well-made items and Julie has been a lovely person to interact with every time. Thank you Julie, for taking care of me, my mom, and my doggy Cab today. I’ll be back next time! 🥳💜✨

January 2025- I popped into this store and wasn't expecting to purchase anything. I walked out with a few really cute items. Thanks to Julie (the sales woman) encouraging me to try new items and helping me style different things. She was wonderful and so kind. She kept bringing me different things to try on and made me feel at ease. Normally I don't really like shopping in person, but she made the experience memorable. I will definitely be back.

Julie was absolutely amazing. She helped me find the perfect gift for my wife.

8/10/24 - Sales lady, Julie is a jewel. She was very pleasant, hospitable and accommodating. I bought several pieces, will recommend others to patronize Saga and will definitely come back.

Was in Long Beach a couple of weekends ago along with sister and her husband. It was raining that day and we had hoped to enjoy the shops and find some treasures. The shop attendant wouldn’t let us in, she was so worried that we would bring the rain in I guess. She asked us to leave our umbrellas outside ( a reasonable request) but she carried on and on about how she didn’t want us to bring wetness in the store in such a manner that we decided not to venture in and contaminate her precious merchandises. She made us feel awful about wanting to come in. Terrible treatment and lack of customer service. I hope that wasn’t the owner. We will never go there again.

Google
I really enjoyed this small clothing store. It is a beautiful seaport cottage style building painted bright color reminiscent of Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket; very stylish! The clothes offered are fashionable; universally appealing. Design sophistication make these wares attractive. The staff was extremely helpful; the saleswoman interestingly modeled the garments for the buyers consideration. Great location and affordable prices will make this store a place the customer will return to many times.

Google
Have come often to check out the wonderful dresses & tops. They are comfortable & yet terrific style for those of us who have tummies. Thank you for making me look great all the time! Love your colors & styles. The sales ladies are always very friendly & helpful. I visit both locations often! Much thanks!!

Was there in May 2017! Bought bracelets! Bought beautiful satchel style handbag! Prices great. Going back in August! Great find! Very nice, knowledgeable manager lady.

Yelp
This review is for the Saga location on 2nd Street in Long Beach. I have been shopping at this location for several years and I don't live in California. Whenever I travel to LA, I make a point to visit Saga on 2nd street and only when Jeanette is there. She is just fabulous and knows exactly how to treat customers. You can't beat the customer service and her individual, tailored attention. Recently I placed an order by phone after not having had the opportunity to visit California in awhile. Without Jeanette's expert advice, I probably would not have attempted an order without first trying anything on. It's important to note that the company website does not reflect the full selection of clothing available. Knowing my preferences, Jeanette sent me several pictures with color options to choose from. It all worked out great-- all six pieces I ordered were fabulous!!! The clothing is reasonably priced and a lot of pieces work great for mixing and matching. Go see Jeanette for an awesome shopping experience at Saga's 2nd Street store in Long Beach!

Yelp
My second purchase from here. A beautiful mocha color light jacket. They had 30% off the entire inventory so I ended up paying $60 for this beautiful Italian made jacket. I love browsing through this small shop, great customer service.

Yelp
Saleswoman Janie did not include a scarf I bought in the shopping bag and charged me for a purse I did not buy.

Yelp
I found my new favorite place to shop. I love boutique shopping, and Saga did not disappoint. Valeria was wonderful to work with and extremely kind. The clothes are beautiful and definitely not something that you'd see in the US. I felt they were a bit pricy, but I'd still go back because they are so cute. Thanks Valeria for a great shopping experience. Regina B

Yelp
Great customer service and fun talking and shopping today! Great quality clothing for me esp. in summer! Found what I was looking for and prices seem to be the same as a few years ago so nice going on keeping prices from raising! Nice time!

Yelp
Reconnecting after a long week is always important to keep a relationship at its best. So when I needed a little something something to wear for date night, guess what comes out of my closet? Ummm hmm my Saga outfits.

Jane S.

Yelp
Been to both Shoreline Village, as well as 2nd Street locations. Fabrics are great! Colors are amazing and the staff has always been very very helpful. Thank you SAGA for a great experience!

Yelp
Went to the store with my best friend and her aunt since her aunt was cold and wanted some pants to wear my best friend was helping her pick pants and their were looking at pants. One of the workers came up and said it's one size fits all and says it'll fit my best friends aunt but looked at her and said "but not you" very poor customer service.

Yelp
Valeria is the true jewel of the store (Shoreline village location). She is attentive, caring, fun to talk to. The clothes are great too. The quality is not matching the prices, but the look of the clothes is cool.

Rosalia L.

Yelp
The best selection of Italian clothing I have ever seen!! The dresses were of good quality and I tried them on and they felt so nice and flowy. I don't really wear dresses but I got to say that the dresses totally changed my perspective. Definitely recommend the customer Service here at Saga they Eder really polite and professional l. They give their honest opinion and I appreciate that a lot! Thanks so much love my purchases

Yelp
The clothes and accessories at Saga are gorgeous and the photos on this Yelp page and their website do not do them any justice at all. Most of the pieces I saw were not plain or boxy or unstructured. The fabrics, linen, soft cottons, are of high quality and the silhouettes are also quite varied, again unlike what you'll see in the Yelp photos. I appreciate the unique jewelry and hats and handbags they offer as well. Quality and lovely offerings and made in Italy and the unique jewelry I purchased, made in India. What a refreshing change from Made in China, which I abhor. I will be back!

Yelp
According to the lady working behind the register, the store is under the same ownership as the SAGA located on 2nd street in the same city, but this one is the original and has been around for more than 20 years. It's a small boutique located in the colorful pier-area close to Parker's Lighthouse and the Yardhouse. It's several meters from the dock. The place is filled with reasonably priced unique pieces that appear to be hand-selected (just my opinion/observation). Most of the clothing looks contemporary and classic with unique twists, which I dig. My last visit resulted in a short, black flapper dress but the shop isn't usually a place that sells period-pieces. I spotted some handbags that I'll have to go back for.

Yelp
This fine clothing one size fits all shop if directly across Parkers lighthouse at the shoreline village. The always friendly Judy is there on weekends to help you. All natural fabrics is what my better half loves. The best, there is.

Yelp
Valeria is an excellent sales associate at Saga Shoreline Village. She has a pleasant attiitide perfect for her work. My wife finds nice linen Italian dresses without flying to Italy

Yelp
Charming store! Super cute trendy clothes. Staff was amazing. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more. My friend and so both walked out with a bag full of goodies. Super cute boardwalk area as well, great for site seeing.

Yelp
What do you know about merchandise return/exchange policy? The people who work in this store make the rules you have not heard of! I bought a dress for $68 -original price. It was hot, the fitting rooms are tiny (the sales person did not open curtains to make them larger, like it is mentioned in one reviews), I did not see how short the dress was. I went to the store to exchange it for something I could wear. I was one day late! But she was going to do it for me. Now listen to this: because the dresses went on sale, she was going to give me the refund of $38. The dress I wanted to exchange it for was originally $68 as well but the sale price was $58. The difference in sales price $20. She was "very nice" and wanted me to give her only $10 plus tax. In other words I had to give this store more money then any of dresses were originally priced. Bad service, stupid thinking, felt like a swap meet.

Yelp
This charming boutique in Shoreline Village is perfection! The clothes are all unique and beautiful. Prices are great for something that didn't come from a big chain store so you won't see everyone else wearing. I was there on a Sunday evening and saw a dress that I adored but, silly me, i did not purchase it. I, however, regretted it the moment I got home. I called them up when they opened the next day and they were AMAZING! I bought the dress and had it shipped to me and I LOVE it! I will definitely be making special trips down to Long Beach just to shop at Saga!

Laura B.

Yelp
The woman who owns & works at this store is a rude, cranky, nasty woman. You can't miss her, she's boney, saggy, and horribly sun damaged. She's only nice to the customers she thinks is going to spend more money. I'm sorry I gave her any of mine. Don't shop there if you can avoid it, her clothes are poorly made, don't fit well, and are badly sewn anyway.

Anne L.

Yelp
We had such a beautiful experience with Tanya today, she was so helpful and complimentary to our needs. My auntie and I had a beautiful time! Maxing garments! We will be back!!

Lucette T.

Yelp
Lovely and different casually chic clothes. Valerie, the sales person, helped my mom find a pretty long sweater with a lace underlay. She was charming and helpful.
google avatar

Shila B.

Yelp
A little more upscale for my personal fashion, however, the clothes have a really nice cut to them. $$$ but expected of the store. Good customer service.

Kristin M.

Yelp
I went into this store because of the mannequin outside and found great pieces that I wouldn't find at mall. Prices were good and the woman that helped me made suggestions that were actually helpful. Didn't oversell me at all. And she opened up the dressing room toile it larger for me. It was a very warm day and the extra space made it easier to want to try on clothes. I walked out with 7 items that I really liked and will definitely go back there. Only drawback is that because it's more "boutiquey" some sizes weren't available. But that's to be expected.

Missa W.

Yelp
Came here years ago, maybe 2009? with a friend when she visited me in California. We also liked the outfit displayed on the mannequin outside, strolled in and each ended up walking out with a new outfit! At the time as a college student, was a bit of a splurge, but worth it as they're still beautiful and very unique pieces. Haven't been there since, but if back in Long Beach I'd want to come by and check it out again!

Yelp
My favorite shop to visit in Long Beach. I never miss an opportunity to go visit and I always come home with something gorgeous. I love that everything is so different that what I see in other stores. The clothes are very well made and are made with quality materials. The lady that manages the shop is so sweet and always remembers me when I come in. If you love beautiful clothes and like to shop this is your place.
