We recently spent the day at the Sagamore Hotel, and while the property itself is stunning, it was Shelly at the front desk who truly made our visit exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Shelly went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed for our day trip. Whether it was helping us access hotel amenities, answering our many questions with patience, or offering dining tips, she did it all with a smile and genuine care. It’s honestly so rare to come across someone so committed to hospitality and guest experience. Thanks to her, our short visit felt very special. Shelly is a true asset to the Sagamore team, and we hope the hotel knows how lucky they are to have her. We’ll absolutely be back—and we’ll be looking for her at the front desk when we do!

We had a lovely 15-day father and son stay at The Sagamore Hotel South Beach and truly enjoyed every moment. Our two-level room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, offering a great base for our Miami Beach adventure. Maria from housekeeping was exceptional-her attention to detail and warm service made our stay even more pleasant, and we want to give her special recognition for her outstanding care. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of South Beach and directly on the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean and nearby attractions like Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. The complimentary 2-hour bike rentals were very useful for exploring the area. The beach itself was exceptional, with two chairs provided complimentary, and the umbrella service was good but comes at an extra cost. Valet parking was convenient and worked smoothly, also at an additional cost. Overall, we had a very, very good time at The Sagamore, appreciating its blend of art, comfort, and prime location for a memorable father-son getaway.

We stayed at Sagamore South Beach in early July, and unfortunately, it ended with a frustrating and disappointing experience. When we went to check in at the official check-in time of 4 PM, we were told our room wasn’t ready. We returned about 20 minutes later, and the front desk still seemed unsure. It was clear the room was rushed and not properly inspected before we were let in. When we got to the room, the in-room safe/cabinet were already damaged — the safe didn’t open properly, was visibly misaligned, and the decorative front panel was already falling off. The safe was not usable. A few days after checkout, we were charged $2,000 for “damages.” We immediately disputed it and explained the condition we found it in. The hotel lowered the charge to $300 with no real explanation — which only made the situation feel even more questionable. They never sent an itemized list for the charges. From what we saw, it looked like the drawer just needed a simple screw tightened and some glue for the covered. If we hadn’t responded, would they have just kept the full amount? After this happened, we looked up more reviews and found several recent complaints mentioning broken fixtures, poor room conditions, and maintenance issues — with some guests saying staff even acknowledged the problems. That matched our experience and made it feel like this was not an isolated case. We don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this felt unfair and unacceptable. If you do stay here, take photos and videos of your room the moment you arrive. Otherwise, you risk being charged for damage that was already there. We’ve traveled all over the world and have never encountered an issue like this at any hotel.

Great service at the front desk from very helpful staff night and day! Location is excellent. Lobby bar very good with friendly service and quality drinks! However we were here for business so I can't comment on the beach, pool, etc. The main problem with this property is that the rooms are extremely old and dated. Badly in need of renovation and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. I'd love a room half the size with new furniture and new fixtures, new floors and fresh paint. The rooms were previously apartments, so they are large with living rooms and kitchens (with covered up stoves). But they really need a refresh. Breakfast service was also extremely slow and also rude. No tap water served "because we're going green", so the only water available was expensive bottled water. The waiter helpfully suggested, "you know there are two free bottles of water in your room so you should have brought those". Isn't tap water the most green choice of all? Makes no sense. And it took 30 minutes for a simple breakfast to come.

We arrived after a full day at a convention. Luis saw how tired we were and offered an upgrade. The room is spectacular, beautifully set up and a great view of the ocean. If possible Mercedes would have taken the light fixture home. The service has been outstanding, I could not recommend it more highly. They deserve 6 stars. Even Delry was superb and could not have been better. I highly recommend you stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at the Sagamore Hotel! The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, and the location is unbeatable—right on the beach with easy access to everything South Beach has to offer.||A special shoutout goes to Mickey and Vito by the pool—they truly made our experience exceptional. Their service was attentive, friendly, and warm from start to finish. They made sure we were always comfortable and went above and beyond to make our time by the pool feel like a true vacation.||Thank you to the Sagamore team for an unforgettable stay. I’ll definitely be back!

We spent 3 nights in mid April and had a lovely time. The staff were fantastic, the location is perfect and the pool is super chill. We upgraded to room 2009 which had a full b patio overlooking the pool and ocean. The beach staff were awesome as were the girls at reception. This is not a 5 start hotel but a perfect 4 start and well worth the price.

Google
We had the best time at the Sagamore for our girls’ weekend! It’s a super cute boutique hotel with amazing service. The pool area was lovely, and having access to the private beach made our stay even better. The hotel is a bit older, but the unique artwork throughout gives it so much character. A big plus was being able to relax and use the amenities even after checkout since we had a later flight—such a great touch! Would absolutely stay here again.

Yelp
We had a great experience here w/our Resort Pass for the day. Check in was a breeze & the interior of the hotels is like a mini-Art Basel exhibit. Absolutely loved it. We swapped our hotel key cards for 2 towels & walked over to the nicely padded lounge chairs. I was thinking that an employee would assist with the umbrellas & placement of the shaded area but we had to end up positioning & opening them up on our own. No big deal - we're capable of doing it... The music was perfect & the ambiance was exactly what we were looking for - a nice sunny relaxing day by the pool. It did take our server a bit long in between check ins - 45 mins to 1 hour if we wanted a drink or food. So we were able to at least get in one good frozen cocktail & a nice salad. But service was a bit lacking on the pool lawn/deck area. Overall this was a nice hotel & would check them out again as a local if given the chance.

Yelp
Hotel is conveniently located on Collins Ave near plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and the beach. The hotel is full of artwork ! There is a nice pool area with a pool bar and ample amount of seating. Plus, access to the beach ( beach chairs , towels, etc). The elevator did not work my last two days at the hotel and I had to walk up and down steps to and from the 4th floor. Due to the inconvenience the hotel removed two of the resort fees. I would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
came here to the Sagamore hotel on a resort pass. the pool was warm and delightful the music was age appropriate, they had easy beach access and clean facilities

Yelp
Booked a day pass through Resort Pass ! So i can't speak to the hotel itself. $100 for a daybed from 10 am - 6 pm. Located right on the famous Collins Avenue strip. The door man took our bags and secured them in a locked room. The pool area and beach club were virtually empty due to it being a Tuesday after the Memorial Day holiday. Unfortunately, the weather was hit or miss. Either it was pouring rain or complete full sun. They allowed us to use the private cabana during the downfall. The employees were very friendly, providing us Beach towels , setting up our umbrellas, asking us if we wanted drink or snacks. Excellent service and drinks and food prices were pretty reasonable for the South Beach area. Onion rings and the watermelon refresher drink were delicious. I definitely recommend booking this resort for a day pass. If waiting to kill time for a delayed flight or even if wanting a change of pace, if a local. Direct beach access and even bikes to tour the local area.

Yelp
I love the small boutique feel of the Sagamore... Great location with a great contemporary art feel... this is my preferred hotel when I come to Miami...

Yelp
I have travelled all over the world, and NEVER have I encountered such rudeness, highway robbery and such a lack of help, responsibility or hospitality in any hotel in my 30 years of global travel. If I could give everyone some helpful and important advice, PLEASE AVOID booking at The Sagamore at all costs. I put in a few pieces of cotton laundry (items from Kmart - cotton undies, leggings, tshirts) and was literally aghast when I received a bill for WAIT FOR IT... $485 USD!!!!! I use hotel laundry facilities wherever I travel and never pay more than $80 for a similar order. When I went to see the manager, there was absolutely no empathy, understanding, ownership or apology, and he said the best he could do was charge $285 USD (ie. waive the $200 Express service fee that I had never asked for)!!!! That's a resulting nearly-$300 USD for a few cotton items including briefs, tshirts and socks - $12 per pair of underwear and $9 per pair of socks!!!!!! It seemed absolutely lost on him that this was absolutely unacceptable, and basic theft of hard-earned money/pure extortion and rather than being understanding and attentive, he came across as rude, annoyed, evasive and defiant. He insisted it wasn't his problem as it was an external laundry service - but the hotel logo and branding were all over the order paperwork! I felt absolutely disrespected and dismissed as a paying hotel guest and cannot express this strongly enough - STAY AWAY FROM THE SAGAMORE!!! Very much in general, the staff have a bad attitude, are curt, unhelpful, unfriendly and unaccommodating at every turn. Not one smile from any of them. I felt at times like I needed to almost apologise for being on their property or taking up their time with a query - not to mention dealing with a blocked toilet in my room, TV reception that kept cutting out and front desk staff scrolling on his phone mid conversation - in a 4-star hotel?! No apologies for any of these things either when reported at the end of my stay! Please take my word for it - you need to avoid this place at all costs if you want to experience an enjoyable stay for your money. I have never left an online review before but feel it's important to protect others from this miserable and obscenely disappointing (and expensive!) experience. To The Sagamore, you should be ashamed. Hope you learn from this feedback - customers are not fools to be taken advantage of. Guests deserve much, much more (service, decency and respect) for their money.

Yelp
I think this is my new favorite hotel in South Beach! When we arrived, our doors were open by the bellhop, and our bags were put on carts. I checked in and my bags had already arrived to my room! Service is top-notch! The room was beautiful, large, with the balcony overlooking the pool and beach! I was celebrating my birthday and they sent a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, so classy! The pool was heated which was nice during the cool February days. The pool bar wasn't very busy and they didn't take any food orders, even though we could see the kitchen staff cooking and smell the food. We were able to get drinks and they were so good, especially the one in the coconut! we did go to the beach and use the designated hotel chairs and umbrella and had a wonderful time. This place is artsy, Modern, upscale, and luxurious!! there's artwork everywhere, they even have a gallery near the coffee shop, bar, and pool table. Near the pool they have giant chess and all the seating you can think of including cute cabanas! I was so sad to leave here, but I definitely will be back!

Yelp
Bought a day pass to enjoy the pools and luxury of this beautiful hotel. I was able to get a chair on the beach and order food and drinks. If you want to elevate your beach experiences i definitely recommend coming here!

Yelp
We didn't stay at this hotel but we got a cabana for the day. The service was wonderful and the pool was heated. The drinks were great as well. We also had access to beach with chairs. It is a very cute outside area.

Yelp
I attended a yoga-wellness themed event in the outdoor event section of the hotel and really enjoyed it. The staff was nice & helpful, the event space was well lit, clean, organized. i would definitely recommend it & consider it for large groups. The Decor of the hotel is beautiful & modern!

Yelp
I visited the Sagamore hotel for a business trip and stayed Sunday and checked out on Wednesday. The hotel did allow late check out on Wednesday at noon. I enjoyed my stay and all of the attributes that make this hotel great. The location is fantastic, the beach access is great, there are balcony rooms with ocean views, the rooms are larger than most hotel rooms in South Beach, the balcony was bigger than most in South Beach, the price was a value, the rooms were clean, the hotel has a fun art vibe, free espresso in the rooms, nice pool, chairs and cabanas. There were a few things that could have made my stay better though. The cafe that serves coffee and pastries does not open until 7:30, there are no ice machines, the restaurant was not open. While not a five star hotel, I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. I have visited South Beach many times in the past and would choose this hotel over others I have stayed in.

Yelp
Creat location. Bathroom was horrible. Toilet wasn't working properly and last day of staying at the hotel I found huge cakaroch in the bathroom. Not to mention I was charged 350 $ cleaning fee. No customer service:(

Yelp
This hotel was beautifully decorated with various art from local artists. I liked how spacious it was and the pool area was nice. The other nice part was having beach access straight from the hotel. All I had to do was walk through the gate and the beach was right there. I wish the lounge chairs and umbrellas service was longer though. They started collecting everything around 5pm which I thought was pretty lame given that it was still so sunny out. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I woke up several times in the middle of the night because my back hurt so bad. Room service food was pretty terrible. Like the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I also think the service here was very subpar. I had to call after check out because I was a little overcharged and I got the biggest runaround. I kept getting transferred around and no one was able to help me.

Yelp
Beautiful artwork all over this hotel. The front desk was so nice and welcoming. Adam from the pool staff was wonderful! He made sure our group was well taken care of with our lunch and drink orders. The beach access is also a great bonus for this hotel. Overall the hospitality from this hotel was wonderful! We'll definitely visit again!

Yelp
This place was sooo nice! We checked into this hotel after checking out of another hotel that was not so great. We had our room upgraded due to that courtesy of Shelly. She was great she helped us every step of the way. Additionally, Kim got us room service after calling one day and she was excellent too! This place was clean and the hotel staff was great. There was a 1ft-5ft pool was so warm and great for relaxing located next to the bar. The bar had happy hour Monday-Friday which was nice. There were 2 towel stations one by the pool the other on the beach. Chairs are provided by the hotel on the beach and a available until 6pm everyday. The room was great!!! It was clean and the bed was soo soft. They was a mini fridge to place your person items which was great. They also gave us reusable water bottle that can be filled up at a water station in the lobby. I also enjoy how they are trying to reduce their carbon footprint with the water bottle, glasses provided on the counter and bathroom and asking guest to reuse their towels. Our room had a balcony with a nice view of some palm trees! We are from Orlando and was vacationing in Miami for the first time this experience made the trip so great from it began! Overall, I will be staying here next time I am in Miami.

Yelp
This review is based solely on The amenities as I booked a day pass. Check in was super easy. The pool is clean and very Miami Beach vibes. I arrived early on Monday morning and the art exhibit was being changed. Easy beach access and plenty of chairs and loungers. The fitness center had all things needed for a good workout.

Yelp
Sagamore Hotel South Beach - An All Suite Hotel is a great place to stay at the beach in the middle of everything. I have been happy with all of the stays that I have had here. The staff here is very helpful and makes sure that you have everything that you need.

Yelp
I love this boutique hotel. The front desk staff was amazing Never had a very thoughtful hotel staff even when I booked a luxury hotel. The front desk went all out extra care for me and my friends and made my birthday celebration unforgettable. The rooms are super clean, the toilettries are nice and the soaps smell so good. The property itself is cute and artsy, if you have time, explore the gallery at the lobby. The pool and beach staff are amazing as well. The property is a beachfront so take advantage of the nice beach view and enjoy the ocean. The pool is nice and the pool bar has happy hour. They got nice selection of bar menu from drinks/cocktails to food. The also offer beach cabana and pool cabana to rent with a reasonable price. the location of the hotel is in the middle of everything. tons of great restaurants, shopping and bars/lounge.

Yelp
Having stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, Sagamore felt like a solid choice for the price and amenities. Shelly at the front desk was very helpful and patient answering our questions. The rest of the staff was also very attentive (opening doors for us, helping us with our bags, and letting us know that taxis to the airport were a flat rate to compare to ubers). Hotel room itself was spacious and clean, and our towels were replaced daily. We used the hotel bikes one morning, which was free bc they provide a discount code for 2hr off. We didn't use the pool, which is fairly small (generally packed) but the beachfront was a short walk and always had chairs available (beach chairs were an included amenity, umbrellas were ~$22 each day/use). Hotel is also well-located and a quick walk to plenty of highly rated restaurants. Overall enjoyed my stay here and would be back next time! :)
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible hotel!! The rooms are primitive and they let people from neighboring hotels book cabanas without holding it for their own hotel guests. We're next to the Ritz Carlton and they are setting up with "sagamore" cabanas but they're really Ritz Carlton guests. I knew I should have followed my mind with the reviews and booked elsewhere. This hotel is the absolute worst! Even when you have money to pay the $150 cabana fee, they will leave you without any resort. The walls between the rooms are horrible anyway d you hear absolutely everything including a dog that wouldn't stop barking. However, the issue with these cabanas are absolutely unforgivable. Someone at the front desk also issued a key to my room without asking for identification. So, now there's a safety issue with this hotel. With the crime statistics in Miami at the status quo, this is absolutely unacceptable!

Yelp
Had a good stay at this hotel. What pulled me to this hotel was the fact that it is not chain owned and I loved was that it was right at the beach. It is also smaller and more private with only 101 rooms and not a bad price point. It has a zero entry pool that goes up to 5 ft. We booked a 2 story bungalow that was really spacious and worked for our family of 4 which had a large king bed and sofa bed. Parking is valet only at a cost of $45 per night which is typical for Miami Beach. It is also more mid beach off of collins, although not too far of a walk from Ocean Blvd. They offer food via room service and at the pool bar. They also have small cafe open from 7 am to 11 that sells coffee and pastries. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel.
google avatar

Ardelia A.

Yelp
The Sagamote offers a lovely cabana experience. The service staff was great and helped us with whatever we needed. The cabana was roomy with a large sectional seating, chair, and table. There was also a small cabinet that could house your belonging while off in the pool. The pool was lovely but There is a path to the beach right outside the gate where there are lounges and smaller cabanas. The food was great as well as the drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Yelp
My family and I stayed for for 2 nights in November and overall enjoyed our stay. We chose this hotel after an extensive back and forth over what was important to us in a room. We wanted a large suite and this room/resort fit the bill well. We had a very large room with separate bedroom and living/dining area. This way the little one can sleep in the living room area and we can sleep in the bedroom. At this particular juncture in his life if he is the room with us he stands up in the crib, stares at me, and cries, so separately living room is a must. The condition of the room was a bit rough. Our room was missing a deadbolt and this led our toddler to try and make his escape, but once we alerted the front desk they were quick to fix it. There were cracks in the sink and slight separation of the tub. The wardrobe in the bedroom seemed old and out of place. The fridge wasn't very cold. I put the little ones juice in the freezer as it was closer to fridge temperature. None of these were deal breakers, but things that could be improved upon. The tub was in fact really nice as it was large and had jacuzzi jets. We wanted a view, but we sacrificed it for this particular room. We had a view of a wall and a roof, so that stunk. They have rooms with spiral staircases that have great views, but with a toddler we did not book a room with a spiral staircase. I wanted beach access and that was great and easy here. You walked out the backdoor, past the pool, across a sidewalk and boom you are on the beach. With your resort fee you get two lounge chairs and towels included. It was a small upcharge for an umbrella, and a bigger upcharge for the deluxe chair/cabana style. It was a nice plot of beach. I wish I had been able to spend more time on the beach as this was definitely a highlight of the resort for me. Another selling point of this resort was the zero entry pool. My little one is still hesitant about the water so the zero entry pool was perfect for him and allowed to him to venture as far as he felt comfortable. I only wish the pool were heated. It was in the low 80's while we were there, but that pool water was cold! There was never a big crowd at the pool while we were there. My son was super excited when other kids joined him once in the pool. The music was very loud and not my taste, but we able to go to the pool first thing in the morning one day before they turned on the music. The bar by the pool was friendly and efficient. My husband really enjoyed the art gallery/boutique vibe of the hotel lobby, but the first elevator was out while we were there which meant we had to carry a stroller up a very small flight of stairs. The location was excellent. It is right on Collins Ave and just a couple blocks from the big shopping area. There is a Walgreens at the end of the block so super close and convenient if you forget anything and a liquor store across the street if you want to enjoy in some adult beverages in your room. I see some people had issues with the valet. We never did, but the resort and valet fees are high. However, my finding is that they are high at every resort on this little stretch so it just seems to be the market. Overall, the resort met our needs.

Jen O.

Yelp
We had the best stay at the Sagamore, and had such an incredible experience we ended up extending our stay one more night. Everyone we encountered was so warm and accommodating, and after I watched an interaction between the barista and a person I found out afterwards was the GM, I think understand why. The room was incredible. It was immaculate and the bed was a dream. I slept like a rock. Thanks to the Sagamore and most importantly all of the staff, our trip to Miami Beach was one of the best I have ever had.

Yelp
Decided to stay here on a whim and I definitely don't regret it! If you're an art person this hotel is definitely for you! I loved that check in was easy & fast. Bellhop was very helpful with bringing my bags to my room. Location is great, being within walking distance to Lincoln Rd was a plus. This hotel has its own pool and beach access. The outside areas are beautiful and kept clean. Bar area by pool didn't disappoint and neither did the food. Took one star away bc they wouldn't accommodate my late check out. I checked in around 5pm and am from LA so checking out at 11am sucked.

Yelp
Super cute hotel. Very chic and artsy. I'd get a day pass there again. The food wasn't too bad.

Yelp
Beware- didn't honor our ocean front room reservation. A boutique hotel with plenty of charm. Their failure to execute on some hospitality basics- took away greatly from a birthday getaway. Their response was to make it right was to discount a few hundred dollars of a several thousand dollar bill- they basically told us take it or find another stay during a holiday week! Below was our oceanfront view-

Yelp
The staff that definitely stood out to make us feel welcome were Lourdes at the front desk, so kind, friendly, and helpful and Miguel at the pool side bar. He was kind, pleasant, genuine, fast and wanted to help. Please let them know they made our weekend special. Very much appreciated. Thank you

Yelp
Went to the Sagamore Hotel on a day pass and had a pretty good time. The Good: Everything was clean, the pool was nice and the perfect temperature, there's plenty of lounge chairs, and they had bicycles you could take out which was pretty cool. Also they have beach access with lounge chairs. The food and drinks were tasty. The Not So Good: It costs extra to sit on certain couches and there's no clear signage to specify what costs more, so if you accidentally sit somewhere that isn't included in your pass, they will tell you that it's extra. If you want a lounge chair at the beach under an umbrella, it costs extra. Half of the staff was rude, other half was pretty nice. We also got overcharged on our drinks and when we asked about it, they were rude and made up some excuse about taxes and whatnot but it definitely didn't add up. Overall a nice place but the couple rude staff members and the way they want to up-charge you for everything is kinda annoying

Yelp
J'adore Sagamore! This is a love letter to a clever chic girl of a hotel cresting on the heart and center of the Art Deco district. I could stare all day into your ocean blue velvet sofas, as I come into your lobby... You're an elegant juxtaposition, meticulous yet unpretentious. It's a shame about all the awful noise from the neighbors but I still love you, my ma chéri! XO

Mariela C.

Yelp
Horrible experience! We planned to spend our honeymoon night there... Guess What? Never again!!! The manager on duty BIANCA was beyond unprofessional... We booked an ocean view suite... Once again, guess what? It was a "Wall view" couldn't use the pool, Had to go to the international... Way different... And there's more, front desk rude and no manners at all, no Food available, not even water... Shai tried to do something but as of Today waiting for the complementary night... Ahqin, guess what??? Im about to Celebrate my anniversary and never get the reservation or happy anniversary note lol This is definitely a NO, NO!!!

Yelp
Lovely property right on the beach! Amazing service, which is hard to come by these days (I travel a lot). The only possible downside are some stairs to get to an elevator. Not a big deal as there is always some to carry your bags for you. Drinks were good. Didn't have anything to eat other than chips and guacamole, which was good pool food.

Marcus S.

Yelp
Didn't hold the high floor beach view I requested, placed me on the 2nd floor over looking the terrace above the lobby and still charged me top dollar as if I received what I my initial request. Manager was basically like (paraphrasing): "...deal with it....". Later they came around to offering me a top floor view for the next day. It's a hit or miss boutique hotel. it's nice bbuttt areas like the hallway could be updated a bit. There is a degree of aging that needs addressing.

Yelp
If you want to sleep, don't stay here. They rent out a tent for events that go until 1:00 am with the loudest music imaginable. Staying here is like paying a $400 cover charge every night

Yelp
Superb and memorable. Spacious rooms w/ great bathroom. Super comfy bed. The pool was my favorite part, the staff worked really hard to keep it spotless. I'm a super early riser so I saw the overnight crew spit-shining the place with quiet, ruthless efficiency. Food is above average, drinks are festive especially happy hour, and the location is peerless. One quibble: there's no ice machine.

Yelp
The staff and service is A-1! Everyone was incredibly kind. The lobby smells amazing. Unfortunately the rooms could use an overhaul. Everything old, the couch in the living area has clearly been burned with an iron and lamp shade in bedroom has some burn/smoke residue.

Yelp
The place was a decent looking place for such an old hotel on the beach. Penthouse was nothing impressive. Do not order room service. It didn't come at all. Our friends whose food actually came because ours didn't got theirs in like two hours and then it was completely wrong. Our was refunded after it sat in prepare mode for three hours and then they had the audacity to say it takes 12 days to refund. We went to the gym in the morning. It's literally the world's smallest gym even for a hotel. We could t even breathe all at once in there. One of us would have died because there wasn't enough oxygen. Weights on the floor. Everything rusted. We had breakfast ... we should have known better but because they were switching our room and we had to check out to check back in we ate at the hotel. The breakfast was cold. Didn't bring my stuff out correctly. Coffee was cold. Toast was cold. My boyfriend ordered berries and there was mold on them. Not sure what happened to the eggs, he had two eggs friend but it looked like it was only the yellow part. Dont know where the rest of the egg was. We will be checking into an ocean view soon and I'll update this review once we check in. Hopefully it's makes things better and I have something nice to say.

Yelp
Fantastic Hotel, but their team needs to have training meetings on hospitality. I had a business meeting with a friend, Justin, in their front bar. I arrived early and proceeded to use the restroom. When I get to the door, I am stopped by their new manager, "Harsha." He then proceeds to berate me, asking me a lot of questions as what I'm doing, who I'm here to see, criticizes me for not knowing that the bar does not serve food, and starts asking questions about my friend to see if Justin is staying at the hotel. Absolutely bizzare powertrip from their new manager Harsha. In fact, in my entire life, I've stayed at many luxury 4/5 star hotels, and have never experienced being treated as poorly as Harsha did, and he's the manager! Oh well, here's a warning to anyone looking at this place and expecting world class hospitality. Look elsewhere!

Yelp
Google says they have a spa. They do not. I was in room 512. I ordered room service via the website from the room. Kitchen called 10 minutes later and said they didn't have a floor 5. 10 minutes of conversation of me saying I'm in floor 5 and the kitchen staff saying they didn't think the hotel had a floor 5. They asked me to come down to the kitchen to pick up my food. How is this a four star hotel? The ac was LOUD, the hallways are dusty and the carpet is rundown.

Yelp
Wow! It's all I have to say. The place was amazing, the rooms is very big, clean and beautiful, it's in the best location, right on the beach, and especially all the employees gave us the best feeling ever, it started with Bianca in the front desk that was super nice and friendly, and then Paula in the bar that was extremely sweet and of course the managers; Shai, Roy and Jay-Jay that always took care of us and made sure our vacation is going great, they gave us ideas for places that we should visit and helped us with any question that we had. Will definitely come back. Extremely recommend for young people.

Yelp
The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing. Biancas hospitality was unbelievable she is very friendly person & had great listening skills. The rooms are big. Housekeeping could have been better but they were really quick with fixing the problem and paying attention to detail. The beach access from the pool and bar area from sagamores pool was so much closer than you'd think.

Yelp
Beach and Pool service were outstanding! While Roy was nicely welcoming us with fresh towels and a pleasant siting environment by the pool, David was energetic and fast making sure we got all the food and cold drinks we wanted when we chose to stay at the beach. It was hard to say which one was better, pool or beach / Roy and Dave - We LOVED them! Thanks Sagamore for hiring an amazing crew!

Yelp
Absolutely not worth your money. This is supposed to be a "4 star" hotel however, besides the location, everything else was sub par. I'll keep it short and sweet for the convenience of reading this review: 1. Cost way more then quoted on Expedia. SURPRISE FEES at check out. 2. Service was terrible. Front desk man was rude and outright disrespectful to some of the guests. I witnessed him mock the man in front of me in line because he asked for an explanation of his bill. The bar tender outside appeared "annoyed" that we were sitting at the bar and it took several minutes to serve us when we were the only ones there. 3. You pay a pretty pricey resort fee and they would only spare TWO beach chairs per room. Meanwhile we stayed in a suite with three girls and one of us had to sit on the sand, unless we paid an additional 17$/ chair per day. The chairs they did give us were sopping wet and instead of giving us new ones when asked, they gave us extra towels to lay on top of the chairs. There were at least 50 unused chairs stacked up next to us that we weren't allowed to use. 4. 42$/day valet parking took at least 45 mins to get car when they told me 15 minutes. Almost missed our flight. 5. Bell boy never brought us a trolley for our luggage when requested more then once. When I went down to get it myself, they said I couldn't get it alone due to "safety reasons". 6. Housekeeping didn't clean room until 6pm. 7. My mom attempted to call the hotel hospitality services serval times prior to my arrival to try to arrange something to surprise me for my bday. She basically got the run around from several people and no one ever got back to her. I always like to end on a positive note so despite being very unhappy with our stay here, the location was perfect and the room itself (upgraded king suit) was very clean and nice.

Yelp
Very nice, smaller beach front hotel, warm and helpful staff. This hotel was clean and our suite was immaculate, smaller pool, and a very small workout room, but the staff was friendly and always willing to do anything to make our stay even better. The room included chairs for guests, along with an umbrella. I will try to avoid the GL Fest held next door at the National Hotel. I had an entire headache from the thumping beat at full blast for 6 straight hours, it was too much for one day, but luckily only one day. No breakfast included and it can get a bit noisy since it's right on the Collins, a lot of slow traffic and lots of honking cars most nights. It is a great location to the Lincoln Mall, Ocean drive, Espanola way and a plethora of great restaurants and shops. It also had beach front access and access to the beach walk, which was great for my daily runs in the late mornings.

Yelp
Rating for hotel: 2 Rating for pool bar: 5 5 stars for Miguel who works at the pool bar. He was really attentive and was constantly checking in on us to see if we wanted to order food or drinks as we spent our afternoons at the pool. The food was also surprisingly yummy. I dont expect much from bar food, but the peruvian ceviche and tartare are must haves!! The workers at this hotel were nice, some nicer than others but I would rate the others between a 3-5. 2 stars for the hotel quality. I stayed in a bungalow which are the larger room types I believe, but it didnt seem updated. The wraparound staircase looked a lot nicer in pictures than it did in person and moved around anytime I walked up or down, and Im not even that heavy. For an artsy hotel, I expected a bit more. The hotel lobby also had a weird, almost sewage smell whenever I walked through it and I had to walk through it to get to our bungalow and the pool. For the price we paid for a bungalow, I would probably stay at a nicer hotel next time. The pool was also very small in comparison to other nearby pools.
