**Do Not Book – Not Worth the Price or Hassle**
This hotel is **not at the standard it claims to be**, and I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
While the **rooms are a decent size**, the **bathrooms are very dated** and feel neglected. We booked a room with a **sofa bed**, yet they **did not even provide enough blankets**, and the sofa bed itself is **extremely uncomfortable**—definitely not suitable for two people.
The **worst experience was the restaurant downstairs that serves breakfast**. The **food quality was poor**, and the **servers were shockingly rude**, which made mornings unpleasant. You are far better off **walking across the street**, where you’ll find **much better food at better prices and friendlier service**.
The **pool is just okay**, nothing special. However, the **valet service is unacceptable**. They charge **$50 for valet parking**, yet the car **doesn’t come back on time**. When I complained to the **front desk**, the response was essentially, *“It’s not our problem, it’s the valet’s problem.”*
If that’s the case, **why is the hotel charging for it?** The lack of accountability was extremely frustrating.
To make matters worse, there was a **strong smell of smoke in the elevator**. Whether it was cigarette smoke or marijuana, we couldn’t tell—but it was definitely there. Management **completely denied it**, implying that our noses were mistaken because smoking is supposedly not allowed. That response was dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, this hotel **does not deliver value, service, or comfort**. Between the rude staff, poor food, valet issues, and maintenance problems, it’s simply **not worth the money**. South Beach has far better options—**choose one of them instead**.
