"A stone’s throw from the historic Odéon Theatre, this pocket handkerchief restaurant serves inventive, razor-sharp Japanese food: sashimi of semi-cooked salmon and caviar, miso soup with sake marinated clams. The wine list is a treasure trove of Bordeaux and Burgundies. Served with a smile in a hushed, cosy interior." - Michelin Inspector

We had such a great time. We had dinner at the counter (I recommend sitting there), the food was amazing and very cozy atmosphere. Service was top. We loved every dish !

TL; DR おいしい(oishii is delicious in Japanese) Looks like I had Japanese karma for lunch time, as day after day I hit a great Japanese restaurant just in time for lunch Sagan is genuine Japanese restaurant, the atmosphere, the plating, the food. We had few dishes Mackerel, salmon and vegetables and they were all really good And afterwards you can take a nap in Luxembourg gardens 😊

A quick review for this Michelin guide restaurant. I had a great “last minute decision” lunch. Excellent surprise. If you want Japanese, the menu is of good value. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I’ll most certainly be back.

Good quality home made Japanese food with alternatives to sushi and salads. Very authentic and polite service.

Great little Japanese restaurant hidden away from the main streets. Authentic Japanese plates were so tasty. We had food and drink at the corner of the counter. Quiet and cozy small place. Would like to come back again.

Really well priced lunch menu. The okonomiyaki and miso soup were really yummy. The fried chicken and tonkatsu were well cooked but just a tad bit sweet for my taste. Mochi had really good consistency and flavor. Overall 9.5/10

Delicious and creative dishes at this Izakaya / Japanese tapas restaurant. The wine list is extensive. The Gin Tonic style japonais is very nice as well, served in a sake cup. Service is very polite but a tiny little bit cold. Even though the ambiance is quite high end and elegant, it’s easy for solo-dining sitting at the bar. On the expensive side, but you get authentic Japanese quality food and drinks.

Excellent Japanese food. It's an upper scale version of Beige (formerly known as Lengué). The menu seems to change quite often, but everything I tried was delicious. Great selection of wines as well, you can tell the owner is quite knowledgeable on the topic.
