"A stone’s throw from the historic Odéon Theatre, this pocket handkerchief restaurant serves inventive, razor-sharp Japanese food: sashimi of semi-cooked salmon and caviar, somen (cold Japanese noodles) and miso soup of clams and sake. The wine list is a treasure trove of Bordeaux and Burgundies. Served with a smile in a hushed, cosy interior." - Michelin Inspector

Great little Japanese restaurant hidden away from the main streets. Authentic Japanese plates were so tasty. We had food and drink at the corner of the counter. Quiet and cozy small place. Would like to come back again.

A quick review for this Michelin guide restaurant. I had a great “last minute decision” lunch. Excellent surprise. If you want Japanese, the menu is of good value. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I’ll most certainly be back.

Really well priced lunch menu. The okonomiyaki and miso soup were really yummy. The fried chicken and tonkatsu were well cooked but just a tad bit sweet for my taste. Mochi had really good consistency and flavor. Overall 9.5/10

Delicious and creative dishes at this Izakaya / Japanese tapas restaurant. The wine list is extensive. The Gin Tonic style japonais is very nice as well, served in a sake cup. Service is very polite but a tiny little bit cold. Even though the ambiance is quite high end and elegant, it’s easy for solo-dining sitting at the bar. On the expensive side, but you get authentic Japanese quality food and drinks.

I've been here multiple times and always had a great experience as they have an exceptional wine list as well as some good food. This time we were with 2 other friends and took some extraordinary wines from Coche dury in red to meursault in white. The waiter there did not really care about us nor did he even offer a digestive at the end of the meal as we spent a lot of money. He basically said you have to leave now. No reconnaissance or service whatsoever which was sad..

We reserved for a birthday lunch. The waiter was really unfriendly and made me regret the reservations I took half-cooked salmon but it came cold like it was cooked earlier and came recently out of the fridge. I got sick.

Very highly recommended. Every dish is unique and exquisitely assembled. The space is very warm and welcoming, beautifully appointed.
