Sagebrush Cantina Review - Malibu - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Sagebrush Cantina is a restaurant and saloon that’s always a wild time, whether you’re there at 9am or 2am. They’re open for breakfast and dinner throughout the week, but what’s really significant here is their “world-famous” Sunday brunch. From the live jazz music, to the chocolate fountain, to the two shots of vodka that come with your bottomless champagne, you know you’re not at Sagebrush Cantina for a long time, but for a good time." - Kat Hong

The food is excellent for this style of Mexican food. Unfortunately the service is lacking. The last two times my group went there, we didn’t receive items that were ordered. In addition service has been slow and inconsistent the last two years. Some waitstaff seem to be well trained and on top of things but too many are not. We typically have to wait a long time after being seated to order our food. Oftentimes there is a long wait for soup and salads if they remember to bring it. My group is very tolerant and we don't complain. We would have appreciated at least some form of acknowledgement such as "I'm sorry" when an error or extra long wait occurs. Typically we don't get much of a response. At best it's been "we are extra busy" or "I'm new here." We do keep going back because the food has been consistently good. It has a large menu and is fairly priced. The atmosphere is good when they have enough staff to keep the tables cleaned.

Amazing taste. We are lucky to get seated in short time. This place gets busy faster.

Ordered Taco salad and wow enough food for three people. Food good, high ceilings and music make it hard to hear but overall nice place to meet friends. Our waiter Marty was great!!

Stopped in for dinner with some friends and we had a great experience. The atmosphere is great, our waiter Aiden P was probably the best waiter we’ve had in a very long time. He was funny, had great suggestions, super polite, and incredibly attentive. He hands down made our dinner out one of the funnest times we’ve had in while. We ordered the floutas with beef as an app and they were great. I ordered the carnitas which came with rice and beans and it was far more than I could eat and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!

I recently came here to celebrate my mother’s birthday and i was deeply saddened by our experience on her special day. She has been coming here for over 20+ years and we know they do not take reservations so we gave the courtesy of calling just to give a heads up there was 15 of us. When we arrived we noticed there was no one of the patio and that we would all fit perfectly when we asked the staff seemed upset and said sure. our party ended up being 17, two more people than we had told them and they acting like this was devastating news even when there was people sharing one meal anyway. They sat us gave us menus then no one returned for about 20 minutes, it also being 80 degrees outside! When the server came out she said “ are we ready to order food” we replied we’d like drinks first and you could tell she was annoyed. since they did not allow us to move tables, we tried our best to sit with who was paying with who. we also tried to put as much people together on tabs as possible to make it easier. We noticed she also had tables inside and we were both upset about wait times for food or alcoholic drinks once ordered, it just would have been nice had she communicated with us. Amazing job to the manager that night he was fantastic and made our mood way better and constantly checked on us! Great job sagebrush management!

Google
Super friendly waitress, sat us quickly and gave us excellent service, unfortunately as memorable as she is, her name faded, since I was traveling on the red eye, but I would make the trip back just to make her acquaintance again. This place have a really neat feel, priced right, since there was 4 of us and it was around $70 for the meal. I will definitely be revisting. Food was good, everyone enjoyed themselves.

Google
Large amounts of food... I got the taco salad. It was ok. Hard shell was so so. Lots and lots of lettuce. Some meat. Just so so. Drink prices are very expensive. I know it's a must go in LO. But they are pricing me out of visiting

Yelp
Amazing service very good food will come again. Marty was the best service I have ever had thank you Marty.

Yelp
Great food! The food was super hot and fresh from the kitchen. Some of the best refried beans in the area and the soup was amazing. Interior was clean and festive.

Yelp
5 Star lunch at a his well known restaurant!! Not crowded at all for a Friday lunch...very nice Cantina looking decor!! I was there with 2 18 month babies and our waitress was the BEST!! Really helped with making the babies happy. One important thing was that the kid's meals are HUGE!! The babies split the shredded beef quesadillas which comes with rice and it was more than enough for them. I ordered the classic Taco Salad and let me tell you....i will now judge every other Taco Salad to that one for a long time. Excellent and also huge!!! Will definitely be back to enjoy more things on their menu.

Yelp
I had the nacho supreme with shredded beef. I wanted ground beef, but they don't serve ground beef. The plate was huge & had a ton of cheese on top, but there was so much cheese on top that steam couldn't escape & turned the chips underneath to a slurry of mush. There was plenty of food, but it was almost in eatable. I won't be going back.

Yelp
After walking around the flower craft show, we stopped in for dinner and a much needed drink on ice. Took us about 20 minutes to get seated. The restaurant was busy. We both ordered margaritas on the rocks. They were perfect. The corn chips were average, the salsa was good. No salt on the table. I ordered the grilled chicken taco salad. It had a lot of big pieces of lettuce in it (had to cut that up for sure) and a few strips of very dried chicken. The ingredients were fresh which is a,ways good, but missed the mark with me. It was ok nothing great. Portions were huge.

Yelp
Went in on a Friday after the lunch rush. We were seated right away but every other step of the way took a bit longer than it should have based on a dwindling crowd. I think they really just didn't have enough people on hand. My wife and I hand a margarita and Spanish coffee respectively. I can't complain about the coffee because it was a stiff pour of Grand Marnier. The cinnamon and sugar coating on the outside of the glass made for a little of a mess. But it tasted good, so it was a good mess. We waited a good bit to order our food and then waited again. We did have some chips and salsa to tide us over and while I liked the salsa the chips weren't the best. My wife had the Outrageous Chimichanga - Deadpool would approve. She was upsold because she could get chicken and beef and have multiple days of lunch! I had the #4 with a chicken enchilada, beef burrito and chile releno. It came with the standard Spanish rice and refried beans slurry. The food was fine but the service, as noted, took too long. 3.5 rounds to 4.

Yelp
Average at best. I don't see the allure. To be fair, I use to come here over a decade ago so my recollection may not be the greatest. When my kids were little my aunt lived walking distance so we'd come often... When I walk in now, nothing had changed. It's still bright, open and airy. You can have a conversation and not "huh" each other. The food is average. We started with queso fries. I thought it would be liquid cheese and it was shredded and melted like alfresco? I was hungry from being at the RV dealer all day. (Proud new owner of a motorhome) So I ate them. Every bite wishing. Onto actual food, I only got a picture of the super burrito. It was large. I got the burrito bowl with chicken and steak. His super burrito was good. He only ate 1/3 of it but said it was ok. My burrito bowl was all the fixing of a burrito but In a bowl. It was just ok. The steak was dry the chicken was terrible but again starving people eat. We ate and took home what was left but we both left feeling MeH.. We both came home and rummaged for something else to eat.

Yelp
Put or name on waiting list and only waited half an hour. For a busy Friday night that was a nice surprise. We were seated near the door, not a great spot. Our waters came in a timely manner after we ordered but it took a long time for our mixed drink and beer. After about 15 minutes some chips came out. The soup was next and that was good tasting. Dinner items took way too long to come out. Our server let us know our food would be out shortly 3 different times then a manager came and apologized for the wait. He told us that we would get our food shortly and dessert was on the house. Food was good but nothing special. My meal didn't come as ordered but everyone else got just what they ordered. Atmosphere was nice. Music a bit loud, hard to hear each other talking. Prices and portions good. Might try again but not on a Friday evening.

Yelp
I have wanted to come here for many years and it was always so busy I never was able to come. So yesterday - driving home from Holly I went through Lake Orion and what do you know - they were having some sort of dog festival with craft tents. We decided to try and see if we could get in here. The hostess said it would be about 20 minutes and took our phone number so they could text us when our table was ready. With the craft show going on that was perfect so we could walk around and look at the crafts while we waited the 20 minutes. It was just under the 20 minutes when our phone went off. So we had the choice of a booth or high top - my preference is always a booth. They give you free chips and salsa (as much as you want). My favorite thing about this place is that they seemed to have all of the ethnic options - not just burritos, tacos and nachos like some places that call themselves "Mexican Restaurants"! My favorite Mexican meal is the Shrimp Ranchero and I must say the shrimp were huge and the taste was awesome. This also came with a choice of soup or salad, and a side of rice and beans. I was already full from the chips and salad - so I took a majority of my meal home. It made for a great snack later on and a full meal on top of that! My friend got the Wet Super Burrito and seriously - it is enormous! Nothing comes with it as it is all inside the burrito - rice, beans and your choice of the meat. Even though this restaurant was packed, our waiter Drew was right on top of everything we needed! The entire experience was awesome and the food was great. Would I come here again - absolutely!

Yelp
Food and service were both only okay. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday night. Nothing really remarkable, not likely to return.

Yelp
Very short staffed on a Wednesday afternoon. Lots of empty tables and booths, but still had an over 30 minute wait. $13 margaritas came up a bit flat - couldn't taste any alcohol. Free chips/ salsa were only ok. Went with beef enchilada - burrito combo. Very little taste to it. Perhaps just an off day due to staffing shortage?

Yelp
Slow service. Food is about as good as tacobell!(...................................................................................

Yelp
I have been coming here before it burned down. Long time. What happened!!? $86 for one drink and some tacos!!?? We got to go.. nothing in the fish tacos but fish....two small pieces of fish, these are normally delicious with the sauce and cabbage. The pic is of the shrimp taco, not worth $7. Super bummed out. Coconut shrimp was forgotten on the order.. I'm sorry to say because I once loved this place... go somewhere else. To charge top price Mexican prices just to jack everything up and not deliver quality. So disappointing. Sage!!!! FIX U'R S*T

Yelp
Picked up Fajitas for two on Wednesday 12/20/2023. Was delicious; they have a great flavor - mouth watering. We were very happy. The rice and beans are really tasty too. The Wednesday staff is awesome.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I love coming here, it's one of our favorite spots to come to. By far the best cantina in southeast michigan. You could close your eyes and pick anything on the menu and it's guaranteed to be good. The tacos are great, fajita is exceptional, apps are amazing. if you're someone who enjoys a great margarita, look no further! The portions are pretty large, you will most likely have leftovers. The service is also outstanding every time we come, we always get the same women. They never take too long to bring out food and drinks. Highly recommend.

Yelp
So, on our 10 mile bike ride from Rochester to this spot. This place was chosen to be the smash spot before we bike the other 10 miles back to her crib. We all definitely arrived famished and ready for destruction. Let's do the food shall we. Mexican Pizza: This isn't your fast food Mexican pizza. It's far more elaborate than that. The fixings, the cheese, that crunch, the sour cream,,, it's definitely a total fiesta en mi boca. Chicken Fingers: This was my friend's choice. Normally this dish would be the last thing in my mind. BUT, she explained to me that it was one of the best chicken fingers that she ever had. So I tried some and I agree. They're very good. Fish Tacos: Taco de Pescado es mi favorito en el mundo totalmente. I adore their fish Taco. My mouth was having the time of it's life. Definitely something to get again next time I'm here. Chimichanga: We chose the shredded beef. Unfortunately, this was the weakest dish in the table. It was extremely lack luster and the meat filling was a little over the salty side. I suggest tasting the meat before putting it together in a tortilla before frying. My mouth did not have a good time with this one. Just like any other American Mexican joint. It's pretty similar. Catering to the area's clientele, I get it. Most of the dishes on our table was very good. I just had to knock a star off because of the Chimichanga. Although don't get me wrong, I'd totally eat here again. I just won't be ordering the chimichanga ever. Service was amazing btw. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!!

Yelp
This place always is the rave in the Orion area, I would say that this is a typical Mexican restaurant with nothing to rave about. Does it have good food, yes of course, but there are more authentic Mexican restaurants in the area within a short drive that are more flavorful, lower in price, and don't have the long wait times you sometimes have to endure to eat there. I tend to find the service here a slow. I also think their margaritas are average when compared to other establishments, if you are in town and want to stop perfect, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to go there. Decent food, decent drinks, slow service, this is the bottom line.

Erin M.

Yelp
The manager was awful! Disappointing food!! The two hostess were rude! I gave this restaurant another chance after a bad experience before but never again.

Yelp

Jay L.

Yelp
My order was simple, without an appetizer or dessert, so your mileage may vary. But the chips and salsa and the wet burrito was to die for. A fabulous dinner for a reasonable price. Service was quick, efficient, and pleasant. The food was delicious. The atmosphere a little upscale sports bar. Nothing rowdy, some families, some couples, some friends. Great little downtown. Not a single negative to say. Will be back in the near future.

Logan C.

Yelp
My waitress was very dumb. I ordered a chocolate milk and a cup of queso and it was 17.50. My silverware was dirty, and on top of that the queso was cold and I didn't even get a refill on chips. They had god awful service and ruined my birthday surprise by asking for an id very rudely. The waitress also called my friend a dirty filthy little beaner and proceeded to not give me ice cream.

Yelp
Umm huge disappointment. Had plans nearby stopped for a snack. Couldn't get the waitress to acknowledge us while she was waiting on table next to us. After 15+ minutes we got chips and salsa. But not from her-chips we're good. Finally she comes we order 2 Skinny Margaritas-they we're ok. We ordered the layered dip. Ugh. Flavorless chicken in the middle. Tastes like something I could nuke at home. Bad service-I would go only for the chips and drinks, but I'd go to a different Mexican restaurant first honestly. I'd say it's a 1.5 tops

Yelp
We love Sagebrush and it's a regular stop for us. Fajitas just taste better and margaritas are always solid. Only gripe (no stars taken away) is they could pick stations that aren't a ton of cursing. Had to explain a lot of new words to be kids
google avatar

Tammy D.

Yelp
Delicious. The super burrito was unbelievable because it was so good. Chicken fajitas are my favorite. Busy enough for a late Friday lunch but good service.

Anne S.

Yelp
We had a large group but were seated immediately. Many in our party ordered the outrageous chimichangas but with many changes to the original menu. Server was fast and efficient and our orders came out correct. Food was huge in portions and we had leftovers for days. Cantina margarita was great too but hard to finish as it was strong and huge. Ended the meal with a surprise birthday fried ice cream and song.

Yelp
Went there for late lunch with a group of friends. The place looks very nice inside but since the weather was nice we decided to eat outside. It's very small outside but nice too. Chips and salsa were good, warm and fresh and salsa had a nice kick to it. They have very limited vegan options, I had to make some changes to the dish in order to make it vegan. Veggie fajitas was my choice, sub refried beans to regular black beans, no rice since they cook it in chicken stock, no sour cream or cheese. Guac of course. Extra. It was ok, nothing special if I'm being honest. Yes, there is plenty of food so you can have leftovers but the taste was jus average. Most likely won't be back.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
First visit. Amazing fish tacos. Super burrito is huge. Staff were great, especially our waitress Lily.

Yelp
It's packed to the gills, bar and all. We put our name in, it's a half hour wait. We went for a walk downtown while we waited for a table to open. We only had a little over a 20 minute wait. We started with the guacamole dip, it's $10.98, seems pricey for some avocado. Also ordered a chicken fajita, one chicken and one chicken tostada and two corn chicken flautas. The salsa is mild, not too bad. They don't have any spicy salsa at all. Really? The corn chips are good, nice and crunchy. Would be nice to get some hot salsa and more chips. The guacamole looks like the stuff that you squeeze out of a tube for $11. It's not that special and definitely isn't worth $11. I don't get the sliced carrots garnish in the puréed avocado dip. The first basket of chips weren't salty. The waiter brought us two more and they are both salty. The music is too loud for my taste in here. Feels clubby in here. Turns into a club. There's a disco ball on the ceiling too. Still two baskets of chips and tube of guacamole and no salsa yet. Asked the busboy to get us more salsa. The waiter is MIA. The busboy brought us a salsa within a half a minute. Our dirty baskets and such are piling up at our table. The food is taking a while. We are once a gush waiting for more salsa until our food comes out. Our waiter hasn't checked on us since bringing us some more napkins and corn chips. He's only been to our table 3 times since we sat down, it's hard to flag him down as he flits from one table to another. Can't flag anyone else down for more salsa. Another staffer came to clean off our table and bring us more chips and salsa. The last chip basket isn't as salty as the last two. Our waiter is more attentive to the other two tables by us I am getting filled up with chips and salsa. Try food isn't out yet and it's been almost 45 minutes. Seriously. It's a Tex Mex restaurant. The waiter finally stopped by 47 minutes in to bring us more water, even though my first was barely down at all. My second glass had some blue fuzzy thing in it, looks like a sponge? He said he doesn't know why our food is taking so long from the kitchen. It's been over 15 minutes since our waiter gave us lip service about our food coming out soon. Soon to our waiter must mean in another half hour. The main entree was is still not out hour later. The family that sat down a half hour after us got their food before us. I am so beside myself. I can't get the waiter to come to our table again. The food came out an hour and 10 minutes later. I told the waiter it's unacceptable. He said he doesn't know why the food took so long. He said the table after us got a queso dip and other hot apps. I told the waiter to not even bring me food. I filled up on salsa and corn chips waiting for over an hour for our food. The chicken fajita wasn't even that good and certainly wasn't worth an hour and 10 minute wait at all. It's most onions and so few peppers. The chicken fajita was supplied to come with some cheese, lettuce, jalapeño, sour cream pico de Gallo and guacamole, we received only the beans and beans. Waiter didn't even notice. I told him so, he wasn't listening to me at all. This is the first time in ages that I went out to eat and skipped dinner and only ate chips and salsa for my dinner. Overall it was terrible experience all around. Our entire Tex Mex meal has taken an hour and a half.

Yelp
The service was amazing! If you go ask for Drew, he went out of his way to make the night great. The food was delicious. We tried several different dishes and they were all good. The drinks were on point! The ambiance was very welcoming. Overall I loved this place and will be back.

Yelp
I went in Saturday with my mom and that hostess Ashlyn was so sweet and helpful. Food was good too.

Yelp
Food is still good but the shrinkflation is ridiculous! I fully understand the economic times and inflation is a real thing so I have no problem paying more for my food but what I don't like is that at sagebrush you're not only paying more, the portion size of the meals seem like they have been greatly reduced. My family and I have been getting dinner from there for the last 10 years around once a week and we've noticed the past month or so that the size of the meals and toppings are smaller And the quality is lacking... may be time to find a new place.

Yelp
Ok recent reviews led me to believe I would experience non-existent Covid policies or something- definitely NOT the case now- so if they had a brief problem before, it was all fixed this weekend. Excellent service on a beautiful springtime Saturday (lunch rush) by both the hostess and the waitress, who were HUSTLIN'! (Kathy M was waitress according to receipt). And we were a party of 8 who all arrived at slightly different times from the trail but wanted to finish eating at the same time to get back in the trail! And they accommodated that! (We told them not necessary to rush or go out of their way) And I'll give them 5 stars on that ceviche and a la carte menu! I'd assumed I'd be picking through veggie fajitas because I didn't want anything heavy before getting back in the trail, but the ceviche is FRESH, flavorful, light and tasty! I'd come back just for that, trail or not, because it would pair well with a margarita! Others ordered the taco salad- see the pic because it's a work of art. Next time, I will add that to my order. I also had a fried avocado taco- you can order just one off of the a la carte menu to try- very good! I was so full from ceviche, I ate the insides of it only because also so filling and fresh, especially for the price! No need to rave about the jumbo margarita because other Yelpers have already done it- ttly agree with the raving! and they offer one, the "Cantina" without the sweet/sour mix for ppl like me, which is very much appreciated! $17 for the jumbo and it's easily 2 margaritas in one. Well worth it! I will very happily return

Yelp
Everything we ordered has been excellent every time we go there! The waiting staff has always been fast and helpful and check on us frequently!

Yelp
1st Time Coming here... I'll try 1 more time We stopped in for dinner around 445/5pm on Sat, the place was hoping lots of people but we were able to move through and grab a table right away Once seated we were presented with chips and salsa (free with refills) and menus.... The menus at least mine was gross, had food or salsa on one of the pages... The chips and salsa were decent, no flavor on the chips and the sauce was watery. Our waitress..... left to be desired, I told my GF that the attitude of her will destroy this dinner... I grabbed the Steak Fajitas which came with Rice and Beans and side of condiments. The steak was nicely cooked little red and plenty of veggies good taste. The steak was tender for the most part, the corn tortilla was smaller side and as always never enough so had to eat the rest of the steak by fork or be charged for extra tortillas. The rice and beans are standard nothing special very bland. I had one drink refill... and had my drink at the end which the waitress could see and never requested or brought back a refill... When asked at the very end she said if I wanted a refill which I said nope just box and bill... she did however brink out a 1/2 glass of my drink just for good measure... still I was done and had no more interest. The inside of the restaurant is nice and reminds me of the south in FL or in the somewhere in the Caribbean. Would be great if the large windows would open to get the breeze blowing through. I'll be back hopefully getting better waitresses that's more attentive to the tables and also not coming to our table with items we didn't order... yeah....

Yelp
Went to Sagebrush Cantina in Lake Orion with my family and Sisters family. It took them over 30 minutes to get us a table even after having reserved a table an hour in advance. None of us enjoyed the food. My dish was very salty. Told the waiter and he commented that he would let the kitchen know. Next morning I suffered from a bad stomach and diarrhea. Highly recommend that you avoid this place. Place is also very noisy. Mike S

Yelp
Waited a half hour when there were plenty of tables for 2 open. Not acceptable at all

Yelp
Great food, good portions. Friendly staff, a bit loud but well worth going. Parking can take a bit to find a space but the cozy downtown area is nice to walk through. Highly recommend

Yelp
I really thought for sure I had reviewed this place in the past. Honestly, I believe I have been coming here for a couple of decades. It has been a staple in my life and my family's life. We either eat here, or get carry-out all of the time. This is our favorite Tex-Mex food, and basically the standard all other restaurants must live up to right now. First off, I really love their chips. They are hot, crisp, and salty. The perfect bite before, during, and after the meal here. I enjoy the salsa. It is a loose consistency, a nice spicy to it, with the right amount of cilantro, I am a fan of cilantro. You cannot go wrong with a basket or two. If we do not dine in, we always order chips and salsa to go to enjoy at home. I also enjoy their tortilla chicken soup and their chili that occasionally comes with a meal, or to order with a lunch. They are great to dip the chips in or eat as an appetizer. We have our standard orders which we love, and hate to veer off from ordering. The outrageous chimichanga is a must try meal. It is big enough to share or eat over several days. I reheats wonderfully, I love the big portions. It is hands down the best chimi I have ever had. I also love the super burrito, which I always order wet. It is similar to the chimi, but all of the toppings, beans, and rice are found on the inside, and the tortilla is less crisp, but equally huge and sharable. I will order either if I want to share or eat leftovers for a few days. Their carne asada beef burritos are also good. I have ordered those less since I crave the first two more often. Honestly, I have been chastised for coming here to get my next order over more authentic food, but they have the absolute best chicken strips ever here! I don't know what it is, but the flavor is so spot on, they don't sell chicken this good elsewhere. My child will just ask for them out of the blue with a sudden craving. Their fries are also very tasty. My kid loves their regular BBQ sauce, I love the ranch. We cannot stop here without ordering these chicken strips, soooo good!!!!! The picture I posted was a new order for myself. I had just visited the Fenton location, but happened to come here with friends, so I wanted to try something new. I got the Mexican pizza. While it was not my favorite, it was as cheesy as depicted in my picture. I also crisped up so nicely the next day in the oven. Like the other meals, you are served a rather large portion that is almost impossible to finish, which is my favorite thing. I have never left without leftovers. One thing I did note, which was in the other reviews, is that they did raise the prices. Probably because restaurants are experiencing the same difficult food chain breakdowns as the rest of the country. It is a difficult time. It does make it harder for me to go out, but I do value supporting my favorite businesses, especially during tough times. We had carried out a bit from here last year. The staff and customer service has always been good and consistent. We have never had anything but positive experiences here. This is for sure one of our favorite restaurants and has been for many years.

Yelp
A classic in Lake Orion for many years. I always love visiting Sagebrush when I am visiting n town.

Yelp
Normally we LOVE coming to Sage Brush. We never complained about service or food, and understand some days there is a long wait. When we arrived (albeit Father's Day) we expected to wait, but the host told us 15 minutes and it wasn't even that. It would appear we just miss the mad rush as a lot of people were leaving. We were seated and wait a small time and the waitress got our drink order. Took a few to get them back, but with one alcohol order that was fair. We immediately placed an appetizer and our meal ( 2 adults and 2 kids). Our adult meals were suppose to come with either soup or salad but it wasn't asked so we thought possibly we were mistaken (and checked later and it was suppose to). We asked for more chips as our little one was hungry and enjoyed them, and thought maybe being a holiday the kitchen may be busy. We waited another 5-10 minutes for the chips, which the host brought us. It was another 20(+?) minutes before both our app and main dish came out with the excuse "they both came out at the same time." The app didn't feel like it was "just ready" but thankfully it was still delicious. We ate our meal without one check up to ask how it was, drinks were gone and never asked about wanting anything else, and honestly- didn't see the waitress until she came around the corner at the same time the table behind us was done waiting to pay their bill and heading towards the host stand. Then she finally came by to ask about boxes and drop off the check. Again, didn't ask how things were, didn't offer dessert, nothing. Waited again for her to come back to take the bill. The restaurant at this time still wasn't busy. Other waitress in the nearby sections were visible the whole time helping their tables, and we seen ours twice for drinks and placing order, dropping order off, and then bringing bill and dropping off receipt. We were there over an hour, and most of it was waiting for her to stop at the table. Obviously it wasn't busy if most of our wait time was because of her. She never smiled when talking with us. Maybe she was tired, or mad she was working a "holiday" or maybe today is a sad day for her. Not sure what it was but it definitely ruined our day out. Probably the only time we agreed our normal big til wasn't earned. Outside that service, everything else was great

Yelp
This place used to be great but definitely went downhill. I have been here 100's of times but I am done. Not only did the food change the margaritas suck now.

Yelp
Omg. So much amazing food. I had a burrito bowl and it was incredible. My friends had an assortment of things from the menu and everyone raves about their dinner choice. I can see why this is so popular that we had to make reservations. :)

Yelp
The food was great. I did notice two major improvements from the last time I was there. 1) The new one-hour call ahead for parties of 6 or less. 2) Using certain colored toothpicks to separate chicken and beef orders. some may not see this as a improvement, but getting my order correct is great and it saves the restaurant money from food being sent back. The service was not so great, had to ask for most things twice. Normally we do have better service.

Yelp
This place is overrated. The food is good. But the staff could use some lessons on hospitality. Music is always way too loud - like being a club in the inner city at 2 AM on a weekend. Saw someone complained about Sagebrush's COVID protocols adherence in another rece. If it bothers you that much, stay home.

Yelp
We came after lunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. There were not very many customers and there were only two waitresses. Our waitress was very unsociable and did not even check on our meal until we were all done. My friend did not even get a refill on her pop until we were done eating. Worst service ever. The ambiance in the restaurant is always nice. Dirty dishes were always left on the table also even the empty pop glass from the very beginning of the meal. I would give a two star out of five today.

Yelp
I've been told by many to try this place out. I finally got the chance and I wasn't disappointed. My margarita was made perfectly and tasted great. We (2 of us) shared the three choice meal with the steak taco, shredded chicken taco and the wet burrito with shredded beef. By far my favorite was the burrito. Our service was wonderful and I will definitely go back as soon as I can.

Yelp
Presentation and appearance of the food was excellent. Service was outstanding. All of the food had wayyyyy too much sodium or other form of additives. Every bite reeked of salt, and threw my body into fits afterwards

Yelp

Yelp
Good ambiance and a really fun atmosphere. The food is typically solid and the beer is cold. Rodney is the best bartender and Aaron was the best server out on the floor that we have had there. You won't go wrong with either them.
