NYC Restaurants That Have Permanently Closed, October 2020 | Eater NY

"I conveyed that Sage Kitchen, a sandwich staple on the Bowery in Noho, has permanently closed its physical space due to pandemic-related downturns but will continue operating as a catering and delivery business." - Eater Staff

I've been here twice now for two different sandwiches, both excellent! The Cuban was one of the best I've ever had. If you're in the Willows and hungry you won't go wrong here.

Food was terrible. Tender steak was nothing like anything sold at the willows. Raw onions and raw peppers. I don’t even think the seagulls ate it after I threw it in the trash. Waited 40 minutes for a few tender steaks with no line. They said there was a mixup?.?.? What? This place is a one and done for me. Plenty of other great food options at the willows. Go anywhere else.

Sage's Fusion Kitchen never uses MSG, sodium products or artificial flavoring in their food. I personally love the spicy phở with or without meat, and I really like how you can choose the vegetables and meat you get in it. I also REALLY love their fried rice, so PLEASE try it if you haven't yet. I would also highly recommend is the Banh Mi sandwich, it's packed with flavor and leaves me feeling super satisfied. A good BBQ option would be anything with smoked pork or brisket. The unique thing about Sage's Fusion Kitchen is they try to make their food as natural and junk-free as possible, so it's not like fast-food quality. Totally recommend if you're feeling like having Phở or BBQ!

I had the pleasure of working with Mark at Sage Fusion Kitchen BBQ, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we started, his professionalism and attention to detail stood out. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and the quality of both the service and the food was exceptional. Mark’s passion for what he does truly shows, and it made for an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for great food and top-tier customer service, I highly recommend reaching out to Mark and his team!

Big disappointment ! Saw an ad on social media that they make chop suey sandwiches, but not that good. The noodles are dry. They were missing that special sauce and had no flavor either. Got the noodles right & the bun. Not Salem Lowe's for sure,The tater tots are kind of lousy too.

Asked them what was in the loaded tots. The cashier got super confused and went “um, what you’d expect? I’ve never been asked that before.” Food took forever to come out. When it finally came out it was missing 2 pastelitos which they then let us know weren’t even ready and they had to make a new batch. The food itself was just ok. Not worth the long wait and poor service

Spent $23.50 on a tender steak sandwich witch had hardly nothing in it as far as steak goes. Got a Pastelito was so small and Greasy and it was gross. One water that came from BJ’s and a Ice tea. A bit Ridiculous… would not recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Took mom for her birthday to Salem Willows. Been coming here since childhood so a nice trip. She always got the chicken chop suey from Lowe's but they are gone. Walking the strip we saw sign at Sages for chop suey. So we got it. She loved it. Upgraded the French fries for sweet potato fries and boy they were worth it. Two things were about $11. Chop suey was a little salty.

Yelp
This is my GO TO SPOT when I'm at the willows. Everything I've tried has been delicious and inexpensive. Service is always amazing and friendly and food is always ready within 10-15 mins! The best restaurant at the willows hands down! If you're missing the chop suey sandwich that have it!
