Saginaw Old Town Junction

Went for a girls night dinner and had the best time. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Our server Kat was busy due to trivia that night but she gave every table the same top notch service with a smile on her face the entire time. We had the monthly special cinnamon maple salad and I literally have no words that’s how good it is. It’s something that needs to be in the menu year round! From the variety of drink specials and food to the friendly staff, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

We went on trivia night and it was such a good night. Even in the middle of trivia KAT was the best server. she kept everybody happy. and engaged. and that cinnamon maple salad that we had. was amazing. you would never think that those flavors would go together. but it was the best and I've been looking for a good salad for eons it feels.

Very lovely restaurant, with beautiful decorations and very friendly staff. Part of the building is a caboose, which makes the railroad theme feel genuine and charming. Food was very nice and the portion size was just right. We left the place feeling very satisfied and will definitely return when we’re in the area again.

My first time here was the other night during trivia and the 2025 NBA Draft so it was loud and electric of an atmosphere considering the inside isn’t all that big. Even the host of their weekly trivia took time in-between rounds to introduce himself and personally invite us to the next week’s trivia, which was a welcoming gesture. Kat was an amazing server with a great attitude and had top tier suggestions for both food and drink. I got the bacon-jam smash burger that she suggested, which was absolutely incredible. We also tried the tater kegs and fried pickles, which you could tell were homemade. My only critique of the tater kegs is that there should be a few more per basket due to the higher cost of the appetizer. For anyone looking for a peaceful atmosphere, don’t come here on karaoke or trivia nights. The parking lot can also get full quick, but there is plenty of street parking. I will absolutely be back soon and with high hopes of having Kat as my server.

Good food. Good service. Friendly employees I got the roast beef and my wife got the gyro. Both delicious.

The pumpernickel patty melt with bacon jam!!!!! Out of this world!!! First time here and was not disappointed, service was awesome Vikki(server) and Tony(owner/cook) super nice, easy going people. Music was on point, food was fire, will definitely be back 10/10 easy.

The atmosphere is incredible. The energy is very positive. The food is phenomenal. Make sure you come early because you won't get a place. Oh and the music is amazing as well

Tony runs an amazing place, check out this gem! Love the vibe and so many seating options inside and outside. The drink elevator is the coolest thing ever when sitting upstairs! look for the Jayson Irish glasses and signature on the wall memorializing our dear friend and talented artist ❤️

Staff was very prompted, on taking our order once we were seated. I had a Rueben, large enough to make two meals for me. Love the atmosphere of an old train car.

I ordered a house "special " and I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything to brag about. Pulled pork on garlic toast was nice but the fries were so so. The dining area is both small and open so it was very noisy. Service was excellent.

I would not recommend this place to eat at any longer - maybe its good for a drink or two. It is loud and food is now very average. I have been at many places like this with much better food.

Stopped here for lunch and so glad we did! What an awesome little place ,we were able to sit in the actual railroad car! The hubby had the club and liked it and I had a great salad. Most definitely worth a visit!

Nice outdoor seating with lots of tables (some with umbrellas!). We really enjoyed the vibes! The service was okay, maybe a little slow. We got the cheese curds, bacon jam burger, and Cuban sandwich. The cheese curds were my favorite of the three! Decent bar & grill type food, but nothing spectacular.

This was a place we went to as we traveled thru Saginaw; recommended by fellow yelp reviews. Loved atmosphere was mixture of old and weird. Smaller inside seating, maybe 5 tables . They had upstairs seating with very steep steps. Outside area looked like it would be fun. There was a covered area and tables with umbrellas. Way too hot for us to sit outside. Ample parking was available. We were pulling a boat and found parking easily. Staffing efficient and polite. Meal was good but nothing out of the ordinary. My beef filly was moist and tasty, had ALOT of cheese and hoagie bun was delicious but way too much bun for me. Hubby had Italian hoagie and he felt same way, bun was a lot . We both took meat out of bun to eat. Be nice to offer 1/2 sandwiches because we can't be only ones who prefer less bread and more protein. I would go back just for atmosphere, but pretty common pub foods are what was available.

Ambience was nice, restaurant was completely redone. Rather disappointed with food, was somewhat overcooked and bland. Servers were somewhat scarce even though it wasn't that busy.

Great spot for a bite to eat. The ground beef on the pizza was super fresh and delicious. Nice customization options.

We live about an hour away and haven't been here in eight years. We were in town and decided to just stop by. They have added on a lot outside. Great atmosphere and service! The food is amazing! We have not had food this great from a bar. We will definitely make this trip again soon and make it more of a regular thing!! The owner was also so kind and such a down to earth person! Fantastic night and so thankful!

Honestly having one server who was also the bartender and also the hostess on a Friday night was a terrible idea . It took us 2 and a half hours to go from being sat to being handed the check . And don't even think about trying this place if you're vegan or vegetarian.. they really don't have much for you . Not even a veggie burger .

Rude, unaccommodating, snotty waitresses that are not willing to go even slightly out of their way to please a customer. Left immediately after conversing with them.

This is the spot if you are craving some bar food! We stopped in for dinner last week to celebrate the end of a long work week. The junction is small- but gives bar hangout vibes for sure! Our table was tucked away and felt cozy. Our server was quick with drinks and took our food order. We decided on burgers that night and it was a great choice- the loaded round house (half pound burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle plus fries. My boyfriend got onion rings which were delicious. Love that they have malt vinegar. Grab the napkins cause this burger can get messy!

Super cold inside! Food was good. Had several servers helping. Just need to heat the place up when paying patrons complain. My group was not the only ones

SO delicious and such a wonderful atmosphere-it's located in an old railroad car that's been decorated to the hilt! Service is spot on, and everyone in our group raved about their lunches. Even the thick fries were exceptional- seasoned lightly with a lovely peppered salt! Great selection of beer too. This will be a permanent stop for us while in the area!

Stopped by for a quick dinner on a weekend evening. We chose to sit outside, which was a mistake if you are there to eat- they have a very nice patio area but allow smokers on it, so we had people smoking from every direction while trying to enjoy our meal. When we ordered drinks, we were told there was no beer list but our server said they have beer of every type, asked what type of beer we would like, then didn't have any of those types and still didn't offer up any list. It seems like they have most common domestic beers but no craft beer from the sound of it. The chicken sandwich and gyro we ordered were good. Nice portions, good meat. Next time I would probably order to go and take it home.

Our Wednesday night meeting spot for trivia. Food is always great, and staff is wonderful. You may have to wait a bit for food and drink when they're super busy, but it is worth the wait. Ambience is intimate, eclectic and fun, with something to do most nights of the week (Karaoke, acoustic guitar, DJ, or trivia)

Love this place! Good food & nice people. There mushrooms soup is amazing. Also the French onion is great too! Potato Keg appetizers are really good as well are the wings. Great sandwich's as well. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed.

Place is awesome and very, very very clean. However, the bartender today was not pleasant at all. She may be having a bad day, but she was out of control not nice at all. No smile, no nothing. I'll still come back. Beer is cold, food looked good but we decided to leave as we felt like we were a burden.

Ive been here plenty of times but this time the waitress was rude and slow and when my bf got a little tipsy she kicked us out because he was black. She said she didn't feel comfortable because he was a bit louder than other people (who were all older white customers). We left without incident, but will NEVER go back. Food and service sucked .

Came out to hear a friend play Bass guitar So great patio ambiance and perfect weather! The food is pretty good! Amazing curly fries! They just need to hire more staff so the servers aren't so overwhelmed. Our server was a nice lady with glasses and she did her best! The owner and GM are great too.

The food was alright, but it was very cold and some people at my table didn't get what they ordered off the menu at all. The service was very slow and the waitress wasn't respectful at all. She talked down to me and my group and, given we were very large, they didnt save the reservation I made prior to showing up. I called two days in advance for a reservation inside and they proceeded to sit us outside claiming to not have made one. My friend went inside to ask for some ketchup and a marinara and she was turned down and was told to wait until OUR server came and served us. Not a very good experience, 2/10.

We were venturing out and came across Saginaw Old Town Junction. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food and employees were great! Thumbs up for this place and thank you for a wonderful time and visit. We will definitely come back again and again!

Amazing selection of drinks! Great bar food menu. Friendly service and the train theme is very unique and welcoming. Would recommend stopping if you are in the area!

Delicious food and a great atmosphere! I had The Cow Catcher and the dill dip and chips. It was amazing! A hearty portion of steak inside pita bread with other toppings like cheese and mushrooms, and the homemade dill dip is excellent. I would recommend this place for sure. I'll definitely be back!
