We love food and service. Needs a bit of maintenance. But never disappoints. Our Sunday bar waitress is so attentive and remembers how we like our drinks. It's comfort food and good service what keeps bringing us back.

Google
We have been to Saguaro Corners several times and each dining experience has been fantastic! They serve scratch-made dishes and have a full bar with unique drinks and a decent beer list. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a great view. We love the nachos, meatloaf, enchiladas (to die for!!), birria, and steak salad. When you go - you have to give the prickly pear margarita a try. Yum!

Google
Disappointed doesn’t even cover it. This place is seriously overpriced for what turned out to be bland, forgettable food. The cornbread came out cold—because nothing says “welcome” like stale and sad. The vibe wasn’t any better: the place looked dingy, the floors looked like they hadn’t seen a mop in days, and we waited way too long just to be acknowledged by the staff. For the price, I expected something to stand out—instead, I left wondering how this place is still open. Definitely not coming back.

Saguaro Corners has been on my list for a while, and this weekend was the perfect excuse to finally make the escape—from the Fentanyl zombies shitting in the streets to the clean air and peace up north. The weather was perfect, the vibe out here is pure white utopia. Even the dishwasher looked like he walked straight out of a Scandinavian ski lodge. The place delivers on atmosphere, no doubt. Great beer selection, solid service, and that older interbreeder crowd chilling outside gave it a mellow, sun-drenched kind of charm. I’ll definitely be back for the ambiance, drinks, and that hit of "everything’s alright" you get sitting under the desert sky. But let’s talk about the food—specifically that $17 Reuben. I measured the thing: 6 inches by 2 inches. Then they cut it 1/2 with no shame .. That’s not a sandwich, that’s a damn canapé. And the meat? A stingy, teasing little layer like someone in the kitchen was told to stretch a single brisket across a week’s worth of orders. You can’t serve that and call it a Reuben. Call it what it is—a $9 appetizer dressed up to disappoint. Total shame. I left knowing I’d be hungry again in an hour. So yeah, come for the vibe, come for the drinks, just don’t come expecting to leave full if ya get the $17 Reaben 👍🏻

Food was good we had fish and chips. Our server was great but seemed overwhelmed at times because of how busy it got. The choice to sit outside or in is Awsome plus they accommodate to pet parents. Have a good liquor / beer selection

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant since 2010. In the 16 years of being married we have always been fond of Lil Abner. Well on our 16 years of marriage I said let's go to Saguaro Corner Restaurant. My NY STRIP was the best ever anywhere. It melted in my mouth. My husband's Ribs were also so damn good. Hats off to the cooks you were AMAZING! I didn't grab our waitresses name but she was the biggest sweetheart. Called you love, showed love, and has such a good vibe to her. I love her! She wore a Say No To Drugs shirt! 80s shout out! Lol The atmosphere was do great! My anniversary dinner was so good! Thank you Saguaro Corner Restaurant! AMAZING FOOD, SERVICE, AND ATMOSPHERE!!

Google
Food was fantastic though price was higher than average for the area. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Has dog friendly outdoor seating and is minutes away from Saguaro National Park.

Google
It was a little more expensive than I expected, good thing the food was good. Classic cheeseburger $17 and John Wayne bacon BBQ cheeseburger for $18. The fries have skins, and are thin and crispy.

Yelp
Had the most excellent food and service. First of all ask for Ruth. She was super. Took all the time to explain the menu choices. Great smile. Never had nachos that good! same with the fries. So unique so delicious. Got to eat outside on top of all of that. A must stop. Thanks Ruth

Yelp
I tried to check in after I got home but Yelp wouldn't let me. We went here after a hike at Saguaro national park and had a delicious lunch with friends. The food was delicious and the beer selection was very nice. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. Bathrooms are single use multi gender style but also very clean. The inside of the restaurant although nice was very echo type and seemed loud. Our waitress was amazing and kept our drinks rolling and updated us on the food as it was getting prepared! Great customer service!

Yelp
Arrived at Saguaro Corners around 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. Walking in I saw the restaurant had about 8 empty tables outside and at least 6 inside. A sign at the door stated "Wait to be Seated". A young couple was standing next to the hostess station in front of us. We waited awkwardly (blocking the entrance door, there is no entry waiting area) next to them. After about 5 minutes an older woman approached and asked us how many. I told her this other couple arrived prior to us and they should go first. She said they were already on the wait list and added we would have about a 10 minute wait to be seated. I again looked around at the numerous empty tables. I noticed at least 4 waitresses were working. We waited several minutes and decided it was ridiculous for us to stand in the restaurant doorway waiting for a table when there were numerous available tables. We departed and found another place for lunch. There is no excuse for customers to be treated this way. Smile and say hello, get them seated and let them look at a menu. This is a heck of lot better than leaving them standing/blocking the front door. Do you want my $$$ or not?

Yelp
Been here many a times and food does not disappoint. Yet to go when there is live music but I hear it's great. The steak and eggs for breakfast was pretty good

Yelp
Perfect for before or after a trip in Saguaro National Park. I got some sort of southwest burger, it was great. Seating by the patio with the little garden and birds was very relaxing.

Yelp
This restaurant has wrap around windows giving a view of the desert surroundings. It also has patio seating when the weather is nice. I ordered the fish n chips and it was pretty good. Their tartar sauce had a nice lemon flavor. My friend ordered a burger but subbed the beef with grilled chicken and really enjoyed her meal as well. Service and food came quickly even though we went during the busy dinner crowd.

Yelp
Find atmosphere a little bit dated inside, but it's more about the friendly service comfort food wide variety of draft beers local and many cocktails on the menu indoor outdoor covered uncovered heaters for the winter. It's got everything but it's pretty simple place so parking lot gets full. Make sure you get there early. Take your time. Enjoy.

Yelp
3.75. Great service. My server Chelsea was so nice and prompt! I enjoyed the food, the ribs were excellent. I also tried their house made potato chips and three dips, which were all unique and paired well with the chips. The side salad that came with the ribs was the best dish I had, served with a delicious jalapeño cilantro lime vinaigrette. All around good time!

Yelp
Great bar on the outskirts of the desert with a view! Bartender was very friendly and even as a first time visitor I saw her chatting up locals and regulars, which helps liven up a small desert saloon. Great spot for drinks, food, and relax before or after a trip to the Saguaro National Park, or just passing through like myself!

Yelp
My husband and I have never been to Saguaro corners. We went with some friends that just love this place. We went during lunch. The parking lot was full snd the place was hopping. We wanted to eat on the patio which had plenty of seating with shade. Our wait time was 20 mins. I didn't think that was bad at all seeing the place was full. We got a table outside and within ten minutes the table was wiped down and drink orders taken. There is plenty of room inside and outside. The mountains and decor inside was nice. The menu had plenty of choices to choose from to eat. This restaurant also has a full bar which is nice for people who want something other than wine or beer A couple of us got hamburgers, another got the dip sandwich and the final person ordered a steak salad. All the food being delivered around us and our food was plentiful and looked amazing and was delicious. If we are ever close to this area again you bet we will be back. Service was top notch and great attitude.

Yelp
We have moved back to the Tucson area recently and hadn't been to Saguaro Corners in over 20 years. Still there. Same building. A little dated and tired but with wrap around windows overlooking the desert. Birds, javelina and other critters come up to the feeders to get a nibble. I have had the fish & chips a couple of times (always good, the fries are fresh cut and delicious), a hamburger which was good and the baby back ribs (they claim the best in Tucson, which is far from true). We were there on New Year's Eve with friends and two of us had the ribs. First, served with beans, potato salad and fried onion strings, none of which I like. Gave those to the hubby. I had a side salad with their white balsamic vinaigrette, which was outstanding. The ribs on the other hand were just okay. I doubt they were baby backs. Too big. They had a mustard based BBQ sauce ( hate mustard and wish they mentioned that on the menu. They were a little dry and tough but since they were so pricey ($32) I ate them. My husband loves the green chili mac & cheese, he gets it every time. Generous portion. The service has been good every time we have been there, not perfect but acceptable. It's a busy place and they only have two single restrooms (neutral gender) which I do not care for. With a busy bar, outside patio and indoor dining area, they need to spend some money and put in more. The building has been there a very long time and could use a little updating. Overall, a decent place to go and it's very close to our home in Vail.

Yelp
Okay, so the food here is still really good comfort food. We met some friends here for dinner and got great service from Beth along with tasty vittles. My husband got the Carne Asada Nachos which were HUGE. My friend and I each did Taco plates, and we had a Mac & Cheese order at the table as well. Everyone loved their food... particularly the brownie sundae we shared at the end. This is no frills, delivering super tasty food with really friendly servers. I love that the patio is dog friendly as well and that you can make reservations.

Yelp
The service is horrid. Asked for another minute to look at the menu, which is the statement of death at this restaurant obviously. After 15 minutes, where our waitress had been out on the patio twice but failed to stop, we asked the bartender to send our waitress out. It was another 5 minutes before we saw her. It wasn't that they were busy - we could see her and several other staff in the window just screwing around. It wasn't like they were busy - total of five tables were occupied with 3 servers. People who came in well after us were waited on and served food before we even ordered. I will say, it got three stars because the food was excellent. 5 for food, ZERO for service.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in today for supper. It was not busy and we were surprised. Server was pleasant but not attentive I had to leave my table and go to the bar to pay .No water refills, she did refill my coke when the food was delivered. she did not try to sell my wife another glass of wine which she was ready to order. Food we both had burgers, would have been better off at Whataburger or Wendy's.The burgers were greasy and not flavorful. The french fry's were also greasy and barely warm. They have re done their booths and they look nice, the chairs are in sad shape. All in all it was a sad experience and will have to mark them off the list for awhile . Because of the above I guess that is why they were not busy.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a lunch or dinner. Nice outdoor seating patio and a diverse menu. Service was on point and there's a nice selection of beer and cocktails.

Yelp
What a great drop-right-in, plop down and sit for some good ol' comfort food and drinks. Very casual, fun, lively and a waitstaff that makes sure of that. Had the chicken sandwich, burgers, fries and even the salad were good. Good size portions and you can tell everything is made fresh to order. Service was prompt and don't bother "dressin' up". Just bring a good mood and an appetite and you'll love this place.

Yelp
Had a wonderful lunch here today. First of all we had a young waitress named Katie who said she was training but did amazing, sat us by the windows overlooking nature, she made some recommendations that were impressive. Second of all, the recommendations were the monument de nachos, wings and their carne asada fries, the portions were huge! And so delicious. We had the dill pickle margaritas which were so tasty. Thank you Katie for the memorable food and outstanding service!

Yelp
In the midst of enjoying the sunset at a scenic vista within Saguaro National Park, a local Arizonan man told me that if I was hungry for some great birria or craving a beer to check out Saguaro Corners right outside the park - so I decided to do just that once night fell! The location is very convenient for leaving the Rincon Mountain District of the national park and it lives up to its name (being right past the exit). There was spacious parking and it was simple to enter even at nighttime. Upon going inside, I was immediately attended to and ushered over to my seat (outside and inside options). I decided on outside since I enjoy the desert ambience, and I was given a corner seat under an awning specifically because it had been raining on and off - points to the hostess for considering the elements! The feeling of the outside seating was pleasant - there were hanging lights along the canopy areas which was a nice touch. I received the food and drink menus and decided to partake in a local Tucson golden ale - which hit the spot after a long day of hiking and driving. For my meal, I chose the Torta De Birria con Calabacitas (red chili birria beef with chipotle crema and shredded cabbage and onions on a toasted roll with a side of sautéed squash and peppers). As a lover of birria, I was excited to have it in the form of a sandwich with additions that I don't normally think to use for the dish, and to enjoy a side item that is uncommon in my neck of the woods (but is nonetheless very much beloved). After about 8-10 minutes, my food arrived. It was exactly what the gentleman said it would be: delicious and convenient! The bun was nice and it was level with the distribution of the birria and cabbage. Every bite had that delicious flavor with a nice crunch. The calabacitas were very fresh, and full of flavor. They had been cooking in their juices for quite some time and were a nice addition to the meal. Oh, and an aside but nonetheless important - the family sitting next to me had an issue with their order, and the waitress immediately resolved it and was quite courteous while doing so. Awesome business! All in all, it was a wonderful experience that I would partake in again. It's right near the national park, there is a large, authentic, and local selection of dishes, a solid beer and wine list, and some nice desert views all around (which would have been even better had the sun still been out)! I would absolutely recommend this locale for anyone passing through, and especially after a long day on the sweltering Sonoran trails!

Yelp
What a great find! After a drive through the park this was a nice spot for a bite to eat. We had the Poppito dip as an app. For food we got buffalo Mac and cheese (which hubby said was good) and I got the tacos- one fish and one steak. The fish taco was fantastic but the steak one was too salty. Service was awesome as well as the prices!

Yelp
Visiting the area from Tacoma, WA. Saguaro Corners is right by the entrance to Saguaro National Park- in my opinion, one of the most beautiful areas in the US. My family of five stopped by right at dinner time after visiting the park. The restaurant has some amazing views of the beautiful desert. Service was absolutely fantastic- our server was always on top of refills and super attentive. All of the food was fantastic- my girls ordered the Mac and cheese- super cheesy and pure decadence! My husband ordered the nachos- huge, huge portions!! I had a bowl of chicken corn chowder with cornbread and we shared the poppies dip appetizer with chips- all sooooo good!! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Two starts: one for great location, and one for GREAT waitress, Beth, who took our order and had a great personality and very friendly. I've been here about handful of times and I've always thought of the food to be average but last night (Friday, August 23, 2024), the food was unedible on many levels. Appetizer was just not appetizing at all. I ordered their pulled pork and it was OK, nothing I would order again. I also had their "picklerita" and it was not good, at all; it tasted like sweet pickle juice was used and it didn't blend well as a "margarita." Would not recommend. Additionally, other 2 guests, ordered tacos that came with rice & beans and the sides looked and tasted horrific! Beans looked and tasted like they were dumped from a can, definitely not homemade. Additionally, their cilantro lime rice tasted two days old and was very dry! The restaurant vibe is vintage and it's perfectly located across from the Saguaro National Park!

Yelp
First of all!!! Every thing about this place is amazing! we chanced ourselves in finding this place as we were just driving around the area. We noticed there were a lot of cars in the parking lot and thought, "we should try this place!" We stopped in for lunch. The service was fantastic!!! The food was exceptional!! We shared a dish and they were so nice to split the dish in the kitchen for us as a courtesy. I also had the soup. I was wowed by the flavor and the texture. What an amazing dish! I would recommend this place to anyone. They have a kid menu so all families are welcome and you could see there were a lot of regulars. I look forward to returning and working my way through the menu. The ambiance is so inviting that I can't wait to return.
google avatar

Braden H.

Yelp
The Buffalo Chicken Mac was the best I've ever had. The fries were very satisfying. We got sat down quickly but it did take a tad long to actually receive the food.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Awesome Mahi Mahi tacos! I like mine with flour, but Chelsea's service at the bar was friendly and efficient. Tacos came out stuffed w/meat (grilled), and dripping with their special secret sauce (lime tasting with cilantro). Their refried beans w/cilantro rice that rounded out the plate was tasty too. They had several local draft beers listed on both the blackboard and their drink sheet. I'll come here several times, now!
google avatar

Josie L.

Yelp
Great quality food, beverages, and environment. We went after going to the national park and it was right around the corner.

Vickie S.

Yelp
We were new to the area and had absolutely no idea where to eat. We decided that we wanted burgers and found this place online. When we pulled up, the place was packed & smelled wonderful. The staff were very friendly and made you feel right at home. We really enjoyed our food. Make sure to try a prickly pear margarita with the spicy salt if you go! We will definitely be back.

Annette V.

Yelp
Happy service and large portion to our orders. Such a relaxed atmosphere with the wild life to view.

Sylwia F.

Yelp
We ordered the saguaro burger, which actually had a good taste, but it was way too cold..
google avatar

Joan P.

Yelp
I've always had good service. The food is good, too. They cleaned up the yard that you view, through large windows inside, since I started going there. It's a much nicer view now of the desert trees and birds that come there.
google avatar

Estrella G.

Yelp
The vibes are immaculate. I just love a restaurant with a patio it's so nice out side. You can bring your dogs. I didn't bring mine but I love admiring the well behaved dogs haha. The service was quick the server was nice and had good recommendations. We had the green chili Mac and shared it as an appetizer. It was so good and the other flavors of mac n cheese sound amazing. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely go back! Thanks!
google avatar

Jake W.

Yelp
This restaurant is really close to the eastern district of Saguaro National Park. It has inside and outside seating. The weather wasn't great when we were there so we sat inside. The service was good and the food came out quickly. The hamburgers and fries were both really good. My son didn't care for the chicken tacos. The beer menu looked pretty extensive but I didn't dig into it too much. Would go back if we were in the park and were looking for pretty good bar food.
google avatar

Leah S.

Yelp
Delicious meal, excellent service, great music playing. Such a cool place. The Saguaro burger was great! We loved the Baja fish tacos and the Mac and cheese with bacon and caramelized onions also.
google avatar

Dannielle T.

Yelp
This place kept getting recommended to us and we finally got a chance to go and I can see why! Everything we ordered was great from the potstickers (my sons favorite), the French dip sandwich, the burgers, THE FRIES. I didn't order from the kids menu for my children and ordered them the Mac and cheese which they didn't like but my husband and I tried it and it was good. Next time I'll stick to the kids meal for them. We also ordered both desserts, the sundae and the churros and they were delicious. Service was great. And so is the location. Next time we will come when it's a little cooler and sit outside!

Yelp
This place is amazing! If you are near Saguaro NP, you have to check it out. To be honest, most of the diners near NPs always impress me and this one sure fit the bill. My boyfriend and I went hiking at Sabino Canyon and were on our way to a hike in Saguaro, but knew we needed a bite to eat first. We were actually headed towards a restaurant we found on Yelp when my boyfriend randomly found this place via another Yelp search. It sounded so good and was located directly across from the park entrance, so we rerouted to here. Such a great decision! They have really impressive menu options given the location. This isn't just a regular diner with an average menu. They also have a good selection of beers (although I did not partake). I ended up getting the BLT with fries and I gobbled up every last bit. It was soooo good! Perfect middle-of-the-day hiking meal. The fries were phenomenal. All told, don't pass this one up if you're in the area hiking. I'm sure it's a favorite spot for locals as well.

Yelp
Consistently good neighborhood watering hole and meeting place. Extensive outdoor bar and patio area which is dog friendly. Established as a gas and ice station in the mid fifties, though the current layout has no resemblance to the original (see photos). Indoors is an intimate, more traditional dining room, but not foo-foo or stuffy. Staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, like you've been a regular for decades and many of the fossils there are! Also a popular spot for the spandex mafia cyclists to clog the parking lot so they can drive in from the snotty areas to ride OST and jam up the roads. You'll see the poseurs with pot bellies in $1000 outfits and $5000 bikes talking like they actually rode more than 10 miles a year. The food selection is fantastic and really well prepared. Good balance of comfort food standards and more inspired dishes, all with a southwestern take. I really think the skirt steak is a home run. The owners of Saguaro Corners also own another neighborhood bar just a few miles away called Mulligans that also has a fantastic but completely different menu.
google avatar

Monica G.

Yelp
We really like this restaurant, it closes at 9;00 per the internet. We came in at 8:20 so we had 40 minutes. Walked in and after the hostess side eyed someone else we were told they were closed. Sure miss McGraws. If your kitchen closes at 8:00 or 8:30 then make that your closing time, not 9:00.
google avatar

Arlene C.

Yelp
We had fish and chips and the fries were burned beyond recognition Dark grease and cold the fish wasn't much better either We spent $136 had family visiting from out of town Won't go back
google avatar

Anselmo H.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant all by itself! Good tacos, good sandwiches. The staff are very friendly and helpful! I look forward to visiting again when it's cooler so I can hang out on the patio!
google avatar

Marina Z.

Yelp
The food was absolutely terrible. The tortilla in my taco fell apart (heat up the tortillas people)! Ihad high hopes for the rice but it was a blob on my plate. My husband had tacos and his refried beans were so dry it they were not edible and looked scary. The restaurant itself has a beautiful view and we had a super nice waitress. We won't be back.
google avatar

Davin F.

Yelp
Always a good meal and beautiful location. The patio is animal friendly which is a plus for us on Sundays with our dog. Servers are friendly and seem to stay - menu has a good variety of fare. One of our fave lunch places.
google avatar

Lori D.

Yelp
Tonight was all about Beth! Her service was outstanding! She told me the watermelon margarita was delicious and she was right! The fish and chips tonight was on point as was the green chili pulled pork Mac and cheese. Next time ask for Beth - you won't be disappointed !

Bobby A.

Yelp
Food was dry and bland. Had a few sides of sauce to make any dish I ordered edible. Staff was ok. Maybe the ambiance is better in the evening? Seemed like everyone working was YOUNG and had a "whatever" attitude. Won't be back.
google avatar

Susan E.

Yelp
I have been eating here for 4 years. The food still tastes great but the quantity has decreased. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is always very attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
April 4th, 2022: 1. Respectable beer selection. 2. Chicken and Waffle plate - did not disappoint. 3. Pulled Pork Sandwich - decent, however the yellow mustard introduction leaves the pork looking a bit unconventional. Don't misunderstand, still tasty, just aesthetically difficult for this reviewer to get past.... 4. The Dip - Not chewy, great flavor - clean and a toasted bun. Solid 5 stars. ** Spouse worked here for Frank & Flo Calvert, and Bob in the Kitchen from 10/80-2/82. Pay stub attached, believe this gives her a unique perspective is contributing to this 5 star review. (Smiling). ($3.36 per hour plus tips) Hats off / Shout out: Chelsea had just returned from a break - and provided outstanding service, truly made us feel like part of the Saguaro Corners family. Thank you, Chelsea, for making our trip out East extra special!

Yelp
Went head for the first time with my husband and grandmother a couple weeks ago. Very happy to find a restaurant close to Vail and shocked I had yet to ever go to this busy place. We were advised when we called ahead to make reservations, so we did. Good thing, because it was a 45min wait when we got there on a early Tuesday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised with their plentiful menu and nice panoramic view of the area. I ordered the Mac & cheese with chorizo and my husband ordered fish and chips . I'm very happy to say the macaroni and cheese was cheesy and met my expectations...however the chorizo was not the best move as it made it soo salty! My husband enjoyed his fish and chips and grandma's salmon dish was tasty too. The portions were a good size which I was thankful for with the prices of the entrees being up there. From their menu pricing and vibe I for calling ans looking online, I had a bit of a different experience in mind, compared to the diner experience I feel it gave. I can't help but feel this place is a little overpriced. But nonetheless, good food.

Yelp
Wondering if things have changed here. This is one of our go to spots for lunch with friends. Today's was super disappointing. We love the poppito dip. Today it was basically a big glob of cream cheese with some bacon, not at all warm and melted like normal. Our burger buns were very hard and our burger was dry as a bone. They weren't overly busy at the time we were there.

Yelp
Ok where do i begin? We were here once before a few years ago and they had too many flys. I thought ok well the menu is better now so I thought we would give it another try for our sixth wedding anniversary. The experience started out great. Saw lots of birds feeding on the multiple bird feeders just outside the windows of the dining room and other local wildlife. We ordered a few margaritas that were a disappointment due to the lack of flavor and the abundance of ice with low flavor of the tequila. As a starter we ordered the quesadillas. They came without a plate to share. Ok so we used napkins I guess. They came with a teaspoon of sour cream and the same of pico? That was enough for one of the four slices of the quesadilla. We ordered a bottle of wine for our main which came long after the burgers were served despite asking it to be served with main. I must say when ordering the bottle the server who had large stars on her chin, I mean big stars like you would get for a "A" in school just there on her chin. Well she did not know the prices of a bottle of wine. I hate to say this as well but the body odor of her was very bad. I mean bad. Well when the John Wayne burgers came it was without BBQ sauce. Wait the menu said it came with it. I ordered the fry's and I got a plate of cold burnt fry's. Which I say they did replace with hot fry's. The Cole slow was flavorless and uneatable. Halfway through our dinner the server decided we were to much trouble and worked elsewhere. When our dinner was almost over three men came in with a dog that was not service animal or any other type of official animal. Yes I asked. They said the pet friendly patio was being set up for a 50 person group. The manager "Max" said it was ok to have a seat in the main dining room as he couldn't ask them for a service dog certificate. I discussed with "Max" the manager at the time and he said he can't ask the dog owners for a "certified service dog certificate cause it was illegal to do so". Ok this dog was wandering around and not stable. Yet it was ok ok to have him in the main dining room? I am sorry but if this was a reputable dining facility they would have a blanket policy of no animals in the enclosed dining room We were not happy then with the food and service

Yelp
This is one of our go-to places. I've probably gone 6 times this year. Almost everything they make is great. I've had the ribs (which were phenomenal even with the weird mustard BBQ sauce) and the steak salad (not as spicy as it sounds) and a few of their sandwiches. My partner really likes the John Wayne burger. This last time though cost them a star. I mistakenly ordered the chicken and dumplings last time and regretted it. The server didn't say there'd be a 45 minute wait and when I got it, it was almost inedibly salty. The chicken was tender, there weren't a lot of peas, the dumplings were amazing, but the sauce/gravy wasn't good and they don't seem to be able to tell. Another time I got the beef stew special and complained how salty it was only to have the server shrug it off. The service can be variable. We've waited ages for a server when we needed drink refills. It's usually better to sit outside in terms of service. But on a nice day when they have the umbrellas up and everything comes together it's a terrific experience.

Yelp
The food here was fantastic. The tacos were to die for. The beans and rice were so good. I wish I had room for another meal! The service was fast and great. There was a nice outdoor area with umbrellas. It's right down the street from the national park so it was perfect!
