Online Scalper Busted for Selling $700 Reservations to Michelin-Starred Restaurants | Eater NY

"I learned that Sahadi Spirits, opened by Brooklyn institution Sahadi’s and attached to its market at Industry City in Sunset Park, is located at 52 35th Street (between Second and Third avenues) and highlights wines from Lebanon, Morocco, Greece, and Middle Eastern U.S. winemakers, with a selection of arak, raki, and other spirits; opening hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday–Saturday and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday." - Luke Fortney

I love love looooove this store. I’m a freelancer in the area and always excited to stop by and see what they have whenever I’m working. Such a fantastic selection from all over the world. The staff is lovely and helpful. They got me excited about wine again. Love that there are a lot of wines from women vendors and from countries that aren’t really known for wines. Love their Last Chance basket and their staff picks are always fantastic. This place is a hidden gem.

This is honestly one of the best and most interesting wine and spirits shops in NYC right now. Amazing selection of wines and spirits from around the world, focusing on the Middle East and local producers. There's even a wine made from Iranian grapes smuggled to Armenia.

It was our pleasure to happen upon this gem in Industry City. As I do whenever I step into a wine/spirits establishment, I asked the proprietor, Caroline, whether she had any vegan wines. To my surprise, she responded in the affirmative, emphasizing the importance of knowing which wines are fined with fish bladders, for example, for someone who may have fish allergies. She proceeded to show us white, red, and rose` wines from regions worldwide, helping us to select a white blend from Turkey and a rose`from Lebanon, two regions that are new to us. We highly recommend this establishment and Caroiline, who knows her wines!
