Sahbi Sahbi, honestly, is a real joy!
First thing you notice, or maybe read about beforehand, is that it's an exclusivly women-led restaurent, which I thought was absolutely brilliant.
Looking at the one-pager menu, you just know that means they're focusing on doing a few things really well, and yes, that's exactly how it played out with the food. Proper focus!
The dishes themselves felt so carefully crafted. I tried the lamb tagine and the aubergine part of it was just amazing. Apparently, they cook it in two or three different ways after soaking it in spices, then finish it with this slight marzipan coating, sesame, and honey. The flavour burst was totally surprising and showed how they can take something simple and elevate it.
The staff is really attentative and seem properly passionate about the food and making sure you're having a good time.
I'd definatley go back and would tell anyone visiting Marrakech to make sure they book a table.
