"Saigon Chicken House (223 Adams St.) opened recently in the Fields Corner neighborhood of Dorchester, right near Home.stead Bakery & Cafe, increasing Dorchester’s already substantial Vietnamese dining options. Early reviews on Yelp and Facebook are largely positive, praising the variety of dishes available for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, Saigon Chicken House serves dishes such as Napoleon beef, which is served in a cow-shaped skillet with a sunny side up egg and a side of pate, along with a baguette for dipping; oc sao dua (snails); pho ga (chicken noodle soup with dark meat); hu tieu do bien ap chao (crispy noodles with seafood); and pho dac biet (beef noodle soup)." - Dana Hatic

Delicious sizzling steak would be better with added jalapeños. Fast and friendly service.

Very attentive and polite staff. Got the chicken pho, fried chicken and rice, as well as the sizzling beef. The pho broth was rich and flavorful. Great kick of sweet chicken flavor. The fried chicken was crispy and the rice was fragrant and fried really well, you can tell when the egg coats all the grains of rice. And the dipping sauces really amped the chicken up a notch. The sizzling beef was the star here though. Huge chunks of beef and an egg, smothered with butter and pate. Put it on the crunchy baguette or dip the fries in the sauce. Just pure umami and amazing richness.

The Bo Ne is a must try along with the banh kot!

Google
Their bò né dish is really delicious, but the consistency is not great. Sometimes the beef is burnt near the pan, other times it's too garlicky or too sweet. The beef is not cooked on the pan but pre-cooked, causing the meat to burn when presented on the pan. I like coming here for bò né, but every time I come, I am worried about how the chef will cook it.

New review: They’re still keeping the consistency, quality for the food. Will chicken rice with ginger fish sauce will be in your lunch list? Yes Old review: Food is good Staffs are friendly You should try Miến gà (clear glass noodle with chicken soup) 💯 Bò né ( chewy steak with caramel sauce, paté, egg) with side of french fries 💯

Taste authentic like the version in Vietnam that I grew up with!!! I got the glass noodle soup with chicken and bamboo. The chicken is bomb, the ginger dipping sauce on the side is amazing too. Perfect for a cold day, so comforting!

Yelp
BEST BUN MANG VIT! Amazing Bamboo Duck noodle soup I have ever had! This place deserved to be busy because food is top tier

Yelp
I have been meaning to try Saigon Chicken House for a hot minute now & today I was finally able to see what the hype was about! I tried one of their signature dishes, bó nè, which is beef, sunny side up egg, jalapeno, and onions on a sizzling hot plate with some pâté + BUTTER (omg!). I paired this meal with a limeade because lately I have been absolutely OBSESSED with limeade (if you like lemonade, you need to try if you haven't !) The limeade here is perfect, not too sweet & not sour. Fries and a baguette come with an order of bó nè to dip. Taste: It was SO GOOD! Very delicious comfort meal, perfect for brunch. This dish comes in small or large size, and also an XL size too I believe. The pâtè with the beef and runny egg was chef's kiss. AND with the baguette too?? YES. So glad I was finally around in the area to try Saigon Chicken House. I will definitely be back soon to get bó nè and try some of their other dishes. Highly recommend if you're in the Dorchester/Fields Corner area!!!

Yelp
As the place has been around along time now in the former Pho so 1 location in dorchester's fields corner. Of course the lady hasn't tried their signature Bo Ne sizzling plate yet so had to try! Onions jalepenos beef and pate with a sunny side up egg! Dig in with the bread and. Fries! Their chicken dishes are usually really good too so if you have the appetite, try some salt pepper chicken and rice dishes etc. they also have traditional Viet dishes so don't fret of those in your group don't eat beef or chicken. Many options. Service was always good for me the ladies working are always sweet and quick. The space is clean, bathrooms for patrons only and has classic Vietnamese music playing for the ambiance. Always a pleasure dining here.

Yelp
More of a 4.5! I used to come here a lot when I was in middle and high school when it was something else- after new ownership and the rebrand, I tried it again and it was okay, but recently I came back after craving their Bo Ne (Napoleon Beef aka Vietnamese steak and eggs) and wow was I kinda shocked. We order different shareable dishes amongst a group of 4 and we all had the same thoughts- food was a lot better than my first time after their rebrand. Not only that, but the service is amazing and above the expectations of Vietnamese restaurants. Our server asked if we were sharing certain dishes so she could bring our proper dish wars and utensils, and she was always on top of it with refilling our tea and making sure we had every thing we need. It's spacious with seats enough to fit small groups, so I'd recommend going with a few people so you can try different things! I recommend: Bó Nè A sizzling hot plate of marinated beef, pâté, egg, and garnishes. You eat it with a baguette and it's just wow It comes with crinkle cut fries (store bought but like still good :p). Ốc Len Xào Dừa AKA sea snails with coconut milk. Quite literally one of the Viet dishes you have to try the coconut milk is too good. Don't be afraid to really suck on the snail Bắp Xào Sautéed with butter and dried shrimp (for flavor and a Viet thing), what could be better?? *fyi isn't too sweet because Vietnamese corn isn't that sweet! Wash it down with some of the limeade and you're in for a good meal! Also not sure the full name but we also got this cheesy garlicky snails and it was 100/10

Yelp
Went to the restaurant in a whim since I was in the area and probably one of the best decisions I made. I tired their Bo Ne (Vietnamese sizzling steak and eggs), which is the first time ever trying this dish and it did not disappoint. The dish came with a baguette and fries on the side and packed with so much flavor. Also had the Pho Tai with the thin slicked beef. (I was so glad it came with the option for a smaller size because this meal was so filling). The Pho was pretty good, could taste the flavor of the beef and onions in the soup that was not watered down or super salty like other Pho restaurants. I also saw a lot of Vietnamese dining in and carrying out so I'm pretty confident in its authenticity in Vietnamese cuisine. Seems like a great place to hang out with friends will a chill vibe. Also has a tremendous menu so plenty of things to try. But for the Bo Ne itself would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Seriously has to be the best Vietnamese food I've had since Vietnam itself and my mother. It's taken me forever to find a really good Vietnamese spot. Came across this one and I'm soooo glad I did. Pho Ga - 11/10. I've never had pho like this before, normally I'm very traditional, beef pho "dac biet" which normally means everything in it. But this chicken pho hits different. The broth is so savory, aromatic, and the chicken has this unique sweetness to it. Best of all. You can choose white meat, dark, or mixed (which was a plus for my gf since she's serious about white meat). Comes with dipping sauce for your chicken! As a rule, I don't order pho at non-pho places. But this place is going to be the best choice for pho also. Special Clay Pot Rice- 10/10: they don't describe what's on it in the menu so here it is: shrimp, calamari, crab, fish eggs, quail egg, carrots, broccoli, celery, all slathered in this amazing sauce. The clay pot comes out literally overflowing. The rice is super crispy, NOT burnt. Also came with a side soup of their special chicken soup which was a nice surprise! Egg rolls/ Cha Gio- 10/10: came with pickled veggies and lettuce which was a very nice plus that most places don't do. It's literally how I'd eat egg rolls at home. And of course dipping sauce. Vietnamese Iced Coffee - 10/10. FULL cup of it. So creamy. Beats a lot of other local cafes that charge more for it. Service was very pleasant, speak English, but definitely Vietnamese family owned. They're happy to make recommendations as well. Everything is very clean, open, plenty of seating for large groups. Portions were huge, we had plenty to take home. Can't wait to come here again to be able to try my other viet favorites. I'm excited to take my parents here when they visit someday. If you're looking for Vietnamese, def come here to enjoy the most authentic.

Yelp
Any chicken dishes here is spot on, very juicy and tender. I think they are known for their chicken rice dish, and Bo Ne. I always got these two dishes when I am here. Don't order seafood dishes from here tho, like oc len xao dua. Not fresh, very little meat, and over priced. Staffs here are supper nice, and willing to help you with whatever you need, but some of them have hard time listening to the order request, so just be patient, please.

Della S.

Yelp
The bo ne is super popular here and I can understand why! I can't say no to a hot, sizzling plate of tender beef, rich and savory pate, and creamy fried eggs. Served with both bread and fries for dipping, this is amazing for enjoying as an entree alone or for sharing with friends! For 4 of us we each ordered our own entrees and split the XL bo ne. We were all stuffed by the end. I ordered a pho tai gau and was a little disappointed by the lack of flavor in the broth. Another person at my table ordered a rice dish which came with a side of chicken broth. I regretted getting a beef-based pho because the chicken broth was the most flavorful chicken broth I've ever had in my life! It would have been really good in pho. The meat portion in the pho was good but not super generous. Unless you are craving beef pho, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it (especially since there are much better options on the menu).

Baico C.

Yelp
Came here on the whim and tried the napoleon beef (Bo ne) and it's quite a different experience. The beef is sliced thin so don't expect a thick cut or even chunks of beef cube like the Bo loc luc. The beef I got taste good but it did have some veins which made it but chewy. I got rice instead of bread. Hint: don't forget to butter up the beef if you like the buttery flavor of steak.

Tiffany T.

Yelp
My party and I enjoyed everything we ordered. Good portion size. Fast service. Parking is available behind the building. We were little piggies -- four adults and two toddlers -- who ordered a little bit of everything here because our eyes are bigger than our stomach. We loved everything but a favorite was the Bo Ne! Recommend: -- Chicken Rice with Shred Cabbage Salad --Duck Bamboo Noodle Soup with Banana Flower Salad --Bo Ne --Braised Len Snail with Coconut Cream

Yelp
Only place to get Vietnamese street foods in dot. The Bo Ne is delicious there. I've only done take out but the setting looks similar to other viet restaurants in the area.

Yelp
I've been to Saigon Chicken House couple of times and it's been pretty good each time I've been here. It's a no frills kind of place, but the service is nice. My go to items is the steak and eggs and the rice paper salad. For a place that specialized in Chicken, the steak and eggs is by far one of my favorite items on the menu. It comes out on a hot plate with eggs, pate, beef, and some vegetables. It's served with bread so you can rip it apart and dip in the dish. One of the other dishes I usually get is the rice paper salad. It's an acquired taste because of the texture in my opinion, but it's different and refreshing at times. It's just cut up rice paper that is tosses with sauce and vegetables with quail eggs on the side. I'll have to admit that there are times when the salad is a little salty though. The chicken and the chicken pho is okay as well. The chicken is juicy and flavorful and the chicken pho is very homey.

Yelp
Came here with the family so we ordered quite a few dishes. Their menu is pretty extensive, but here they're known for (and highly advertise) their free-range chicke. Typically it's boiled with skin and bones, and served cold which you dip in a tasty ginger fish sauce. We got the half portion along with goi (vietnamese salad), which was pretty good. We also got the bot chien and nuoc mam wings, both of which were also delicious. For mains, our table got bo ne (sizzling steak dish served with a baguette and fries), pho ga, chicken rice dish, mien ga (noodles with bamboo and chicken soup), and I got the bun mam dac biet. Everything was pretty good, except for the bun mam which was just okay. It came with plenty of seafood and BBQ pork, but the flavor was just flat to me. The staff were all super friendly and working hard. They provide free iced tea which was pretty refreshing. There were lots of tables inside, and mostly viet people eating there which gives you a real sign that we approve =) There was parking in the back, although the school parking lot is not allowed on weekdays during school hours.

Yelp
This place was DELICIOUS! My bf and I were in the area and stumbled across this place after seeing they served pho which I was in the mood for. The place was packed but we were greeted and seated right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive and overall it gave me a homey vibe. They have an extensive menu with a little bit of everything. I ordered the F2, pho with brisket, flank, tendon strips and beef and it satisfied my pho craving as it had a good amount of meats and the broth had a lot of flavors. My bf ordered the L1- Sizzling Beef (Bo Ne), one of their popular dishes and it was full of flavors and came with a side of fries and bread. On top of the good food, their portions are big and their prices are A1. I was also in the mood for wings and got their salt and pepper wings and they were soooo good. I'm defined returning as there were other dishes I want to try.

Briana L.

Yelp
Bo Ne unfortunately increased 1.5x in price, but they did add a ton of new items to the menu! I tried the snails and I'm definitely coming back for those

Kathleen L.

Yelp
This review is for the second time I came. The quality of the flavors definitely changed. The bun thit nuong we got lacked flavor. The com suon was super dry with no bbq flavor. Was totally disappointed this time.

Anthony T.

Yelp
Although a small restaurant, it delivers in food quality and portion size. Staff was nice and the ambiance is chill. Went here for lunch after a long morning and inoeft satisfied! Definitely check it out!

Chris K.

Yelp
Love this place. Menu is overwhelming so I'll suggest ordering the items with indicators.

Mary Z.

Yelp
Omg get the Bo Ne!! This comes out piping hot, sizzling and so delicious. It was beautiful presentation and loved that it came with a baguette and French fries!! This dish is so flavorful, the pate on the bottom with the tender beef, a nice fried egg, and topped with onions an lemon cilantro. I couldn't ask for anything else. Plenty for 2 people and inexpensive for 16$. I also got the rice paper salad. This may be how it's supposed to be? But it was so hard to chew. My jaw started cramping up. I like the concept and the flavor but wouldn't order again bc the texture wasn't good.

Nan K.

Yelp
This Bo Ne really did not disappoint. It comes in large/x large. Wish I got the x large to share instead of trying to finish one on my own because it is A LOT of food. I thought it's an amazing idea to have both bread and fries to dip into their delicious sauce. The pate is so good and the steak is really tender. However, the combination of such a thick and rich sauce with a meaty pate and runny eggs makes it a little too heavy. Maybe the steak could have been less well done/overcooked too. Nonetheless it's such a unique find in Boston and something I recommend trying.

Yelp
My friend had been to Saigon Chicken House, but it was my first visit. Saigon Chicken House is across the street from the post office and a short walk from the Red Line Fields Crossing station on the Ashmont line. It is rather spacious inside with 4 round tables surrounded by rectangular tables and smaller round tables set by the walls. Her impression was that the chicken was good here, but the rice plates were not quite sufficient for an individual's appetite. so we ended up sharing a half chicken portion of their Special Qui Phi Chicken Steam (Market Price - $20 on this visit), chicken rice $3 (vs $2 for plain rice), and #101 Noodle Soup with crab, shrimp paste, snails, and water spinach $10.95. The chicken was good, but I particularly enjoyed the chicken rice with a good douse of the ginger fish sauce which had accompanied the chicken. The noodles in the soup were a thick round noodle. The bowl generous and flavorful with a manageable hit of heat. The snails found at the bottom of the bowl were a bit rubbery so I could have done without. The special Bo Ne - Vietnamese Sizzling Steak $13.95 sounded tempting, but my DC has her eye on trying one of the hot pots with a larger party in the future.

Melanie W.

Yelp
Came here because I want to try bo ne which is a sizzling steak... the meat is soft and juicy. It also came with fries and a bun. I also order few other dishes but it was so so.. service is kind of slow as well.

Kevin N.

Yelp
Can't get fresher chicken unless you raise them yourself. Food comes out fast and with big portions.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food Pho was great Sizzling steak was great Fries on the side was great

Yelp
Saigon Chicken House is located on Adam Street in Dorchester, MA. The restaurant specializes in Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant replaces Pho So 1 restaurant. Although there is a change in ownership, the new owner kept the original chef from Pho So 1. They also added an extensive chicken menu that they are very proud of. The chicken used are free range and not caged. You can order a variety of rice dishes with steamed chicken, or noodle soup with chicken, and even chicken hot pot. I have tried menu item number 40, bun mang ga goi nap chuoi, which is a rice noodle soup with bamboo served with a side of chicken salad. This dish is great for cold rainy weather. The soup broth is very light while the meat on the chicken salad is tender. The salad has thinly sliced cabbage and banana flower which gives it a crunchy texture. The dressing is sweet and sour. It comes with a ginger fish sauce which you can dip the chicken into to add saltiness. Another popular menu item is Bo Ne or Napoleon beef. This is a very popular dish in Vietnam. It's usually a brunch item but can be eaten any time of the day. Because it is expensive to get good quality beef in Vietnam, you will see minced beef or other variation or cuts of meat in Vietnam. Saigon Chicken House serves this dish up with steak, eggs, pate and a side of French fries and a loaf of bread. You break pieces of the bread and dip it into the egg, pate and sauce. I highly recommend this dish. The restaurant has a private parking lot which fits only a small handful of cars, possibly four. On the weekend and after school let out, you could use the parking lot behind the school. Otherwise, you can look for street parking on Adams street also. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable friendly. They greet you as you come in. They are also very knowledgeable of the menu. They will take the time to explain to you how a dish is prepared and give you recommendations guaranteeing that you will enjoy the dish. Different waiters checked in with us to see if we were enjoying our food during the meal. The interior is very sleek in design. The tables have a white marble top which gives a nice contrast to the black chairs. They also have booth seatings which looks comfy. Overall very sharp and very clean. See my pictures.

Anna Q.

Yelp
Idk about you Saigon chicken house was delicious. The combination of this bo ne hot plate was mind blowingly delish just how it looks! Came with some pate with a fried egg and beef on a sizzling hot cow shaped plate. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I would for sure come back again to get me some bo ne again.

Han N.

Yelp
When I first heard that Pho So 1 was switching up, I was skeptical to visit, because I was never a fan of Pho So 1. The first time I visited the restaurant, it was after hearing about the Beef Napoleon dish - this is something that my own family makes at home whenever we have time too so it would be nice to have a restaurant that makes it when I'm craving it and don't have the time to make it at home. My boyfriend and I tried it together and we both loved it. It was around 13-14 dollars, but it was a big portion, well at least to me I couldn't finish one portion by myself. Extremely filling. We made the mistake of order the coconut juice though because it was like $4.50 for one and it was literally what you can buy frozen in the supermarket for like $2.00. I have also tried their chicken and rice plate (which I think is part of their specials) and that was pretty good. Their banh trang tron is not bad either, it's a big portion, I use to buy a $10 bag from them every week before I found out that Ba Le had it. The interior is much brighter and different compared to how the restaurant was before. I like it a lot more this time around and I hope they continue to make the same quality of food.

Pauline P.

Yelp
Came here specifically for their "Bo Ne" aka "Vietnamese Sizzling Steak" because it's hard to find as not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants offer this item. It comes with two pieces of "steak" which is really just basic slices of beef, an over-easy egg, pate, onions, cilantro and green bell peppers. It's definitely a cool dish as it's brought out on a sizzling platter with french bread. You basically assemble the sandwich yourself - spread the pate on one side of the bread and the runny yolk from the egg on the other side. Unfortunately the sandwich was hard to eat because the "steak" is tough and hard to bite into - I guess they didn't do a thorough job of tenderizing the meat. I would definitely recommend cutting up bite-sized pieces with your knife first...which is kind of lame. The sauce/marinade was WAY too sweet for me. It was like a flavor explosion but not in a good way. It's a cool dish to try but I wouldn't order it again. It also comes with a side of fries? So strange. We really liked the "Oc Len Xao Dua" or snails with coconut cream. You're supposed to be able to suck out the snail from the shell but we were struggling to do that...asked for a few toothpicks to try to pick them out. The coconut cream sauce was delicious. The "Nem Cuon" was just okay to me...the nem or grilled pork was much too thin. For such a thick spring roll with so many veggies and a fried egg roll wrapper it needed a much thicker piece of meat. I did like the crunch I got with each bite though from the fried egg roll wrapper inside the spring roll. The dipping sauce was just alright as well. My date ordered the com tam 4 mau and seemed to like it because he ate the entire thing.

Yelp
I've had my eyes set on this restaurant for quite some time now as it's a Vietnamese restaurant where the main attraction isn't pho like many others around the city. Scrolling through the pictures, it was apparent that their chicken rice dishes and the beef Napoleon are the stars of the restaurant. As this as my first time visiting, those were the two dishes that I tried. Chicken: For this dish, I opted for the dark meat which was $1 more than the white meat option. The chicken comes deboned on top of a mound of rice with what seemed to be some steamed Chinese yu choy, sliced cucumber, and a thick cut tomato. The chicken was topped with a dollop of scallion/ginger, similar to HK bbq places. There's also a cup of soup that came in the side as well. believe it also came with a side of sweet dipping sauce, but not too sure on this as we also got the Napoleon. As far as taste goes, the chicken was actually quite bland. The dish as a whole is reminiscent of the Hainanese chicken rice dishes that you can find in Singaporean restaurants as it has the chicken on top of flavorful rice with a side of soup and dipping sauces. 3/5 for this dish. Beef Napoleon: I actually had a hard time finding this initially as it was the last item on the appetizer menu. This dish consists of cooked tenderized steak (probably from baking soda) in a tomato-esque sauce, a medium cooked egg, some pate, topped with some raw onions, cilantro, green peppers, and a healthy dose of butter on a hot sizzling platter. The dish also comes with a loaf of bread that you'd see used for banh mi sandwiches and French fries. We took chunks of the bread and made mini sandwiches out of all the items on the platter. The sauce on the beef is more on the sweeter side but the star of the show has to be the pate! 5/5 for this dish. All in all, I was pretty satisfied with the meal but the beef Napoleon takes much of the credit. I am actually quite disappointed by the chicken as it is called Chicken House. The restaurant also had an unpleasant smell similar to some Asian grocery stores. Not sure if it's always like that, it definitely not the best when trying to eat.

Ophelia L.

Yelp
Great dinner out with my neighbors. The egg and the sauce were perfect for dipping with the baquette and fries.

Peter V.

Yelp
I went here 04/3/2021 with my brother. I went here specifically for the Bò Né because it's quite hard to find in the area. Very tasty, big portion with the baguette included. Also came with a side of fries. Overall service was great, food was good, no complaints.

Diana N.

Yelp
I came here for bo ne because you can't get it anywhere else. The sauce for the bo ne fit perfectly for my flavor palete. Sweettttt! It comes with a side of crinkle cut fries and bread (once it was stale). My husband got their deep fried chicken dish that came with fried rice. It was quiet dry, nothing special about it and over priced. Service is average. I love what they did with the decor, very classy and cozy.

V T.

Yelp
Came here because I read other people's reviews about the "Bò Né" which is a sizzling steak & eggs platter that is a traditional breakfast delicacy in Vietnam, and rarely found in the US. I went during July 2021, and the menu here does not indicate this item, but it's available in the restaurant. You get the sizzling platter with steak, eggs sunny side up, pâté, served with a side of Vietnamese baguette and a more than generously-portioned plate of crinkle cut fries. The steak is thin, cooked well done, and you'll need to use the fork & knife to cut it up. It's lathered in a savory gravy that has a bit too much of a sweet aroma for my liking. When you allow that to mix with the pâté, it is not a good combination. Hence, my three star review. My feedback for the restaurant is as follows: 1. Please make the gravy less sweet, and more meaty. The current recipe really makes for a difficult to eat aroma. 2. Get rid of the fries. They are not necessary and we had to box it up as the loaf of bread was sufficient to make us full. 3. Instead of fries, a side of Vietnamese pickled daikon / vegetables ("Đồ chua") would make this meal much easier to eat, as it would contrast with the rather heavy gravy flavor. Costs around $15 per portion. For this price I don't think I would come back to eat this dish. I am curious to see how this restaurant does other items, like the chicken dishes. I will give it to this restaurant that it's very clean & new appearing, so it's definitely not a nasty hole-in-the-wall restaurant, so the dining experience is pleasant.

Shatara C.

Yelp
I came here for lunch because I work nearby and wanted to try something new. It wasn't crowded in the location but it took very long for them to make my rice so next time I will call and order ahead of time. The woman at the counter took my order that I pointed at out of the menu, we both saw the price as $10.00 but she somehow rung my order up as $14+ and when I asked her about it she said she had made a mistake but had already swiped my card. She was really nice and maybe this was due to a language barrier but I was a bit annoyed by this. As for the food I ordered a rice that had practically everything in it, all types of meat and veggies. It was really good and had a little tangy after taste. I definitely enjoyed that dish, they provided a soup on the side that was decent and very warm, it was nice to drink after I ate a portion of the rice. I would go here again.

Yelp
Their staple is their farm raised chicken buuuut it was rather anticlimactic. My boyfriend got pho and the broth was oily. I got the chicken & dried bamboo noodle soup with glass noodles and that broth was just super bland no matter how much seasoning I added. The service was slow as well but maybe because they were understaffed and it was busy since it's Sunday. The only good thing we had that I would strongly suggest is their Bò Né, and that's it.

Yelp
Very delicious pho, nice hot broth with nice fatty beef as well as generous portions. Very nice prices, $9.95 for a small bowl (what I got) and $10.95 for a large bowl. Egg rolls very crispy and hot and a great chili lime dipping sauce that went with it. Great experience and good attentive service! Will definitely head back soon.

Yelp
It might seem a bit pricy but we think it was worth it. The cage free chicken was very good and the beef napoleon, bò né, was phenomenal. Always see it in food videos but first time eating it in real life. Very rich flavor and you will need extra baguettes to soak up the sauce. Only disappointment was the chicken pho since the broth wasn't flavorful. Surprisingly the broth that came with the chicken rice plate was even better. They should just use that broth for chicken pho instead :) Will be back

Yelp
For a restaurant called Saigon Chicken House, you would think that chicken would be their specialty. We ordered the Deep Fried Chicken and it was raw. After reading the other reviews, it's apparent that this was not the first time they have undercooked chicken. This would explain why the server seemed unconcerned when notified.

Yelp
(Bún mắm rất NGON )Vermicelli - Fish Seasoning Soup w/Seafood & Sliced Pork is the best highly recommend this place

Yelp
The bot chien and bo ne here is absolutely amazing. Our go to dishes that we always get when we come here. The oc xao dua is also pretty good. They give you a pretty good amount of oc and it tastes so good with the creamy coconut sauce. One of our go to spots for Vietnamese breakfast!

Yelp
Weak/lack of communication at the restaurant. I ordered a warm steamed chicken by pointing at it on the menuand it's associated price, they steamed it and but the end result was cold chicken on the inside. Showed it was meant to be warm. Then I was charged the price for a full chicken, not half. I raise my concern and was escalated to the owner. She explained that the side of cabbage is not listed on the menu but basically doubles the cost of the meal. She then showed me a chicken salad dish that costed almost the same as the cabbage. The end result was I was charged double for a half a COLD chicken. This is how customers should be treated when concerns are raised, I shouldnt be served cold food when I order warm food. I shouldnt be charged double without being notified. This isn't a Michelin star restaurant without prices on the menu. Very disappointed in the service, communication and how this issue was handled at the restaurant.

Yelp
Delicious, authentic Vietnamese taste! I have been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant like this in Boston for so long. However, it's a little pricey...

Yelp
If I could give out a negative point, I would be more than happy to do so. I was there with mom earlier( around 7pm) , the worst of worst restaurant experience ever. 1.We've been waiting for a seat by the door for about half hour, since we don't speak Vietnamese, they let whoever speak Vietnamese to cut our line. 2.we ordered 2 things: one is the large size pho, and the other dish was the sizzling beef combo. The so-called new guy didn't give us any utensils, bean sprouts and basils for the pho. I was the one to serve ourselves. 3. The clients whoever ordered way later than us, they got the dishes first, again, since they speak Vietnamese. The restaurant owner should put out a sign said ONLY SERVING OUR PEOPLE. 4. We never got our beef combo for the whole one-hour dining time, and there's a rude waitress came to our table and took away everything, including the unfinished bread. We were absolutely wordless and didn't even know what was going on‍ I understand they were busy on Saturday night, but it's not the excuse for being rude to the customers, respectfully, they should close the door and run a staff development training. Lastly, I still paid my bill and included 15% tips. God bless my tummy and forgive those insane people. Plus, I will never visit that place again, and highly recommend you all don't waste your money there. Btw, the taste of the pho was sucks and the portion was tiny. The end.

Yelp
There's a new kid that messed up my order. He forgot my banana salad, brown duck, and fish sauce that come with my porridge. I paid $16 without tax for that meal but ended up getting only nothing but plain porridge. I understand he's new but the staff should train him better or do some kind of quality control before the food leave their restaurant. Needless to say, I will never come back here again.

Yelp
My friend recommended me this place because of the Napoleon beef. It's my favorite Vietnamese brunch dish! It comes out sizzling hot with egg and pate. Also comes with baguette which you use to dip into the flavorful sauce and fries on the side. It was quite delicious and flavorful! Seems like this place recently opened. I definitely like the interior and marble tables! My mom had the chicken soup and she enjoyed her dish as well.

Yelp
Glad to see a Vietnamese place that specializes beyond the more typical pho bo! Came here for the bo ne and we all ended up soaking up the sauce and pate in the pate with the bread and fries. Really good service and staff. Each table had hand sanitizer for customers, digital menus you pull on your phone, and customers were all spread out at tables.

Yelp
Authentic Pho!! I believe this is the only place in town that has Pho with dark chicken meat.

Yelp
Location: this place is most likely owned by the people that used to run the pho shop (got replaced by this place). It's close to the Fields corner t stop and is on the main road. Heavy traffic area Service: it's alright. Just like any viet joint. Food: I go the steak and eggs as recommend by my friend and a bowl of viet crab and tofu soup (bun Rieu). The steak came out on a sizzling plate with a sunny side up egg still cooking in the plate. It had a slab of pate as well. And everything was drenched in this semi sweet sauce. Came out with fries and French bread. The bread was stale. This ruined everything for me because bread is so cheap, why give customers stale bread I've see this dish on tv but never had it even though I grew up eating Vietnamese food. I thought it was alright. Didn't really blow my mind, but my friend likes it. I think this is because I don't like my savory items sweet at all. I'm more a umami, salty , sour profile kind of guy. When I say sweet imagine sweet as in bulgolgi or bbq sauce. This wasn't as sweet as bbq sauce but it was still a bit too much for me. The steak was tender enough though. It kind of reminded me of Chinese pepper steak with the viscous gloopy sauce. The bun Rieu was alright as well. It tasted liked the one my dad makes at home, albeit with less tofu and crab omelette. The tomato quarters could've been cooked a bit more. They still had to much structure to them. I like my tomatoes in this soup slightly broken down. The broth was slightly sour as it should be but it was missing one quintessential condiment, shrimp paste. This is like a stink bomb, but it tastes really good and adds a bunch of umaminess to the dish. Price- over $9 bucks for the steak and eggs if iirc and same for the soup. Verdict- I may give it another shot. Also you may be wondering why I got these items as opposed to the chicken. I just don't like chicken dishes in general unless it's fried or heavily seasoned. I'm not a fan of most Vietnamese chicken dishes save for 5 that I can recall eating.
