Probably one of the best banh mi sandwiches in the city and pork & chicken fried rice is top tier. Some of the best I've had in the city as well. Service was good and food came out quick.

Prompt service and great authentic viet food. The pho met expectations and the grilled pork banh mi was spectacular. Flavorful and tender. It likely can get quite crowded as I stopped by around 3pm on a weekday and almost could not get a seat.

I came in with a friend of mine, and they told me about how great this place was. We ordered the beef pho, and it was very amazing, especially on a cold day. The place was a little old, but that didn’t take away how good the food was. Definitely recommend for everyone! 🥰

Saigon Deli is the best Vietnamese restaurant in America. Here food is always fresh and made with love and service is generous. After 5 years of my last visit I keep seeing the same faces running the restaurant. This family business is one of the best jewels in Tampa bay. They deserve 6 stars for quality food.

The Pho 🍲 is fire - prolly the best I’ve heard so far. The egg rolls and pork rolls are damn good too. I had a mango boba 🧋 milk shake - perfect for this summer weather. I’m 💯% coming again.

This is a great place for Vietnamese food. I stopped by for their Banh Mi which is like a Vietnamese sub. It has lots of toppings and veggies. Their Banh Mi has a very crunchy French Baguette and delicious roast pork. I will return again for their other items on their menu!

I am always on a hunt for delicious Asian food. A friend recommended a Filipino resto but I thought I can cook my own delicious Filo food at home so maybe next time. So I googled and found it was only 7 mins from where I had an appointment. This place was also recommended by the same friend and told me it was 1 of their fave spots to go & they bring a lot of their out of town friends here. It was almost 1pm when I arrived & there are people already eating outside. I ordered thru DoorDash for pick up & when I came in my order was almost ready maybe was missing only 1 item. I loved that they secured my boba milk tea and placed it in another container to avoid accident spills. The food tasted sooo goooood!!! Eating their Banh Bao reminded me of my favorite Siopao back in my home country/city which I have missed so much. Their egg rolls are really delicious, too--i prefer to dip with my favorite UFC banana catsup & it was perfect. I still have to taste the rest of my order because I ordered a lot of food since it was almost an hour drive from my home. But I'm sure they all taste great. This is from now on my go-to for best Vietnamese food! And as an Asian, I will always need my umami so I saved this as 1 of my favorite places to go.

Tried the Vietnamese coffee here and it's the real deal. Super authentic and really well made. Was in and out in 1 minute. I haven't tried the food yet but I'm definitely coming back to do that next time. If you're a coffee person and want something authentic, this spot is worth stopping by.

Saigon Deli provided excellent catering for my mother's funeral last month. Larry was incredibly accommodating and helpful, offering honest recommendations on food selections to ensure everything tasted great and wouldn't get soggy. Because the deli was closed on the day of the service, we pre-ordered the food and the funeral home picked it up the day before. Larry was flexible with last-minute changes and even cut the sandwiches into smaller pieces to create a variety platter. While I never met Larry in person, his amazing service over the phone and via text made planning the catering an easy and stress-free task during a difficult time.

Not a bad spot at all. It was so packed when we got here during lunch hours, but we got seated right away. The tech time was really good. We got our food pretty quick here. We had the pho dac biet and banh cahn from here. The bahn cahn noodles were soft and perfect. The broth was also full of flavor. My bahn cahn came with shrimp and pork belly in it. As far as the pho dac biet goes, the pho broth was full of flavor and the pho came with a good variety of different meats. The noodles were also made perfectly. They had a lot of different snacks around the register. I decided to try their beef jerky and didn't regret it at all. Their beef jerky was really good. I wish I would've bought more, but I'm not from this area so I'm not sure when I'll be back to get some more. In all, I didn't have a bad experience and would definitely come back to grab more jerkies on my next trip!

Hands down best Vietnamese Pho in Tampa bay! If not the best it's top 5 for sure. Ambiance is pretty casual, it was actually pretty hot inside and although they had fans it wasn't enough to keep the heat under control. Service was different, they forgot to give us water and we weren't sure if they had any but once we asked they delivered. Pho was amazing! I got the regular pho that normally comes with brisket, tendon, tripe, beef slices but no meatball. It was incredibly rich in flavor. The broth had the perfect amount of seasoning to and the noodles were also very flavorful. Overall I would definitely come back. The staff were nice and the food was fantastic!

Their pho was solid and the only thing I'd recommend out of the 4 things we ordered. Service was quick and tentative. Their Hu tieu kho was kind of bland, need more sauce. Com tam, rice dish, actually has 'broken rice' which was a great sign, good and tender porkchop but the egg quiche was bland, the two fried eggs needed to fried hard with more oil. The bi (dried pork) was wet/soggy when it came out under the eggs. Banh mi was standard. Soymilk drink needed more sugar. Also got some to go snacks and they were subpar (honeycomb cake - banh bo, and fried tofu).

I ordered ubereats for lunch on a busy work day during the week. I got the pho and the combo lo mien. The pho was sooo good! The broth was authentic and not overly sweet or salty. My picky toddler also enjoyed this very much! I wish they had more noodles because I ran out of noodles and had more broth to finish. The combination lo mien was tasty and I love how they packed it with meat, seafood and veggies. The pork and tofu were my favorite! Very tender and flavorful. I wish the veggies were cooked a little longer though. They were a little on the hard side for my taste. Overall though, this place rocks! I will be ordering again from this place and will bookmark this as a go-to pho place!

It's Ben YEARS since I've had Saigon deli maybe 8 or more. It's just as good as I remember. Pho dac biet - basically a deluxe pho with all the works. The broth is flavorful and the noodles hold their shape well. It tastes just as it should authentic Beef banh mi - very good and the ingredients are fresh . Banh mi's from my experience tend to have a sweet and savory protein with the sweet pickled veggies. This was excellent as well Service - the food comes out very quickly and the staff is polite. will come again

This is my favorite go to (as it is many other people's as well) for grabbing a Vietnamese lunch. I love the bahn mi sandwich with bbq pork. The baguette is especially delightful, crispy outside and tender inside. It really compliments the sandwich. I love their Vietnamese coffee as my beverage of choice. It's a now frills place with reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly.

Prob my second fav pho place in Tampa. Love Thinh Ahn because of bakery I always get veggie pho with beef broths and love this place because they use bok choy. I love pho Queyen because they use bok choy and baby Bella. Out of all 3 places though I believe this place has better broth. My husband loves they have crunchy fat on the brisket

It's been a while since I dined at Saigon Deli. Today, I ordered through Uber Eats - beef noodle stir fry and fresh rolls. The stir fry was a very generous portion with plenty of thinly sliced beef, cabbage, and other veggies. If you like spicy, be sure to add your condiments of choice (I prefer to add chili oil). The fresh rolls were also great! The rice paper wrapper was absolutely the freshest I've had packed with shrimp. The sauce was the thicker, richer type I like best. I'm pleased to have the delicious experience of this gem through delivery.

Tried the bun bo hue, and it was pretty good. If you're tired of pho, it's a nice change. They also have some deli options. Great service, and the staff was really nice. Outdoor seating available, easy takeout order

Was looking for a quick bite nearby and came across this place. I walked into order and this place was packed. I immediately wished I had time to sit down to have a bowl of pho. I stayed on my goal and ordered two bahn mi: the special and the pork. The price was absolutely right and I was very excited. Order was prepared of very quickly and I was on my way. I had the special first. I wish there was a little bit more meat but there was a decent amount of toppings for the cost. More jalapeno would have been nice too. The bread what I'm used to. Nothing fancy and it don't have to be! I had the pork one a little bit later. It was also yummy. Overall, these hit the spot of Asian comfort food. Next time, pho for sure.

A nice spot to grab a quick bite! Would recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee and grilled pork banh mi. The cold cut was ok, but I would have preferred the grilled pork. Good prices!

A staple in Tampa, if you're wanting some authentic and affordable Vietnamese food - this is it. The parking lot can get busy, especially on the weekends because it is part of a plaza with other stores like a filipino restaurant and Asian grocery store. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and some options of pre packaged goods your can take to go. The service is quick and straightforward. And the menu has all the standard options of noodle soups, noodle bowls, rice plates, banh mi, and the classic viet iced coffee and other slushies. Bun bo hue ($13): spicy bun noodle soup w beef, pork, tendon. We haven't been back in years and having had BBH in Houston (the mecca of Vietnamese food imo), this honestly wasn't as good as I remembered. The broth was a bit sweet? And there were no pork blood cubes! Grilled pork with rice ($12): Their grilled pork is top tier. The meat is well seasoned and has that delicious grilled taste to it. The rice plate is one of the best! Grilled pork banh mi ($5.5): like I said, grilled pork is literally the best. The banh mi is excellent, and this is the most popular one for a reason Highly recommend their grilled pork dishes, banh mi or the rice plate!

Came back for some of the best Vietnamese food in the greater Tampa area. And judging by the amount of people who also came by to eat, this proves how good they are at Saigon Deli. I decided to have a stir-fry seafood with egg noodles dish while may wife had grilled pork with fried rice. We also shared a mango milk tea and fresh shrimp rolls. Everything tasted fresh, savory and sweet. The service was fast and accurate. The restaurant is not much to look at. There at least 15 tables inside and 6 outside with varying numbers of seats. It is very basic and simple yet clean. They get very crowded on weekends or after holidays. Parking can be challenging because the spaces are small. Don't expect any frills here! Prices are very affordable and you get more than your moneys worth. Continue to support Saigon Deli.

You know the place is good if it's surround with local viet elders, and someone's yelling in the back! Pho was perfectly beef and light. Not overwhelming in spices but perfect for anytime. There's a fair amount of meat which is great, and the banh caun or steam rolls was delicious as well! make sure to not leave without the sauce! interior is small so not really fit for super huge groups but i'm sure the restaurant can accommodate to your group. parking is fair and location is next to the busy road

5 minute drive from my house, been going here for the past 10-15 years. Amazing prices and pho/bbq comes out in 2 minutes. Probably the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant you can go to in the area. Always a hit, very busy on Sunday afternoon obviously so go earlier.

We love the Banh bao. My parents told me about this place . They drive up every weekend to get the snacks and Banh bao. I figured I make a pit stop . It's small but good place. The service was quick and friendly.

Just a note. I've been to Saigon Deli twice since the first time. The food has consistently been delicious and the servers have been outstanding.

After seeing so many reviews about how great this place was I just had to try it out for myself. It was packed when I arrived so had to wait 10 min for a table indoors. Was greeted right away and I ordered everything that I wanted. The broth for the pho was solid. The eggrolls were fresh! The best dish though was the grilled pork sandwich which was a great price of 5.50. Only constructive criticism I have is I would have loved to be checked on after our pho and eggrolls were dropped of at the table because they forgot about the pork sandwich which we wanted to try before the soup. All in all I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a solid choice for pho.

The word for this place is "authentic". I had to use a map app to find Saigon Deli. It's in a hidden strip mall offset from the main road. Finding it though is so worth it. The place is clean & busy, & the workers were kind & helpful. I started with a Chicken Banh Mi sandwich & an iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Both were very, very good & priced well. I inquired about the steamed pork buns that people around us were getting. So we ordered that too & it was delicious. The employees & many patrons were speaking Vietnamese. This helped to whisk us into another culture which really was very cool. By the way a few doors down is an incredibly large Vietnamese grocery store. Next time I visit, I will be trying one of the huge Pho Bowls everyone was ordering.

I really needed to update my review bc my last review on Saigon Deli has been 5 years old. Going here for at least 20 years now. Overall it is 4 stars worthy for overall experience. Give or take - my suggestions to order for dine in which may take up to 15 minutes wait time is the Combination Pork Chops Deluxe. I do enjoy their pork sandwiches add e/z egg. Sundays only ( the congee) Pho is ok to me - Combination Fried Rice for catering portions is solid. They do prepare catering order in advance. If you really don't know what to order start with a Banh Mi - do add the egg and thank me later.

Every time I'm in Tampa I feel like I'm always here. I say that as a very good thing because it's so good. Everything that I've had here is always packed with flavor. The food comes out quick and it's a family run business with a lot of traffic in and out. The person that's working the cash registers very quick and efficient so service. It's always great. The full here is probably the best in Tampa. At least it's my favorite. Their sandwiches are always good, so I normally grab a bowl of pho and a sandwich, and I am normally super full for the day, while very satisfied with the food.

This place has very tasty pho and the fresh rolls are also very very good. This is a regular stop for Us when traveling to Tampa. The service staff are friendy and fast moving; the gentleman that works the register is very friendly and helpful. Solid choice for Vietnamese. The ambience is straight deli with numbered tables supplied with all the pho fixins. Its clean but not exactly quiet. I like it.

No frills, ALL delicious food! You come here to eat! The food is very good and my first time was during lunch on a weekday. And the place was bustling with happy customers that likely come here often. My husband and I immediately added this to our rotation. The food is that good. Everything is fresh. People are friendly. I don't think there's anything on the menu that could steer you wrong.

Absolute best Pho I have ever had. Amazing banh mi's and all for reasonable prices! 10/10 recommend. Staff is so friendly and overall great atmosphere.

Drop a stars. The menu has change drastically after pandemic. They carry lesser items. Normally there is Friday duck noodle specials also removed. They also don't prepare the papaya salad. Food price also increases. We got the tapioca noodle soup with shrimp and pork. The soup noodle has five shrimp and pork. It is still delicious. The portion still maintained but the veggies is kind of small portion. We also got the combo rice dish with grilled pork, meat cake, grilled shrimp. The grilled pork still top notch. Food wise is good. Meat in the dishes also good portion. But I can said it do drop a notch

3 things about this place: 1. Family owned restaurant that is open only during the morning and afternoon. If you come after 4pm, you'll be too late. Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly which made the experience amazing. All the menus came out within 10 minutes which was very surprising. 2. Spring rolls, Beef summer roll, Beef pho, and Beef banh mi were ordered. They fry the spring rolls in advance before serving to customers. You'd think the spring rolls would be cold and not fresh, but they were very hot and came just right out at the perfect time. Other items were very good. 3. However, when beef summer roll was ordered, they ripped the summer roll from the to go spot and served it to us which was a big negative for me. Not fresh and been sitting in the to go spot for a few hours. Also, banh mi was ordered to go but when the banh mi was ready, it was just sitting there without us being notified that it's been ready; we were just waiting for the sandwich for 20 minutes until I had to ask how much longer I had to wait. This was the 2nd time that this happened and wish they notify and communicate. Overall, communication could be better, but food is one of the good spots that I've tried in the Tampa area so far.

Overall 4.5/5 Food here is amazing!!! If you want some good Vietnamese food, this is the place to go. The broths are full of depth, well seasoned, all the ingredients are fresh and have many different cuts of meat for everyone. Their bánh mì is packkkkeeeddd with meat and veggies! Way more than other place. Pricing is very reasonable! They have options of other Togo options on the side - such as traditional Vietnamese desserts, fresh fried tofu, spring rolls, etc etc. better get there early if you want the foods they have in the side because they run out on the weekends! The only reason why it's not a 5/5 is because it could be cleaner and the service could be a bit better - servers don't introduce themselves or say much - just expect you to order... but that's how you know it's a good place I will be back!!!

Well this is my second time coming here since the last time I came here for Vietnamese restaurant that my friend introduced me here in Tampa. Overall the food is great for Vietnamese despite having Vietnamese food before. The service is very quick and they do pay attention to you right away despite that the seating took a few minutes or a few moments to get settled and find the table. Ambience is pretty much your traditional Vietnamese restaurant of being busy at lunch time so it doesn't surprise me. Otherwise I do recommend coming over here for anybody who is looking for the best authentic Vietnamese cuisine next to them serving Filipino saopio and me being Filipino and seeing a Filipino restaurant two doors down in the plaza but otherwise very delicious Vietnamese cuisine in Tampa

When I first entered the restaurant, I was not expecting to see how simple it looked inside. Multiple tables and chairs with little to no decor. Then I thought to myself, the food must be good here. Some of the fanciest places I've been to have the most expensive and tasteless food I have ever had. Upon being seated, the menu was straightforward and to the point. There were not too many dishes but more than enough to satisfy ones palate. I ordered the Seafood Pho and chicken Sub. Both were super delicious, bursting with flavor. All items were affordable and reasonably prices. 5 stars all the way! Will return soon.

The Banh mi are excellent, never disappoint. Their pork fried rice is the absolute best and prices are very reasonable. The man who takes orders is extremely pleasant and the service is quick!

Very tasty rice noodle tofu salad and boba tea. I wish the Bahn mi had more pickles and fresh things on it. We didn't care for the egg noodle stir fry as much as the other cold dish. No vegetarian soup here, but several other choices. Overall a good value and friendly to-go service.

Unremarkable food, expectant for ethnic Asian food in the suburbs of Florida. I would not expect much if you are used to quality Asian food in other major cities.

Never disappointments! I eat here probably 1-2 a week If you're in Tampa and are craving authentic Vietnamese food this is the place.

My first impression is: It's very authentic! You can seat yourself and a waiter/waitress will come to you. We were greeted by multiple employees . I love that they can speak both Viet and English since I always get so shy speaking Viet. The food was delicious!! They were able to accommodate a small bowl of pho broth for me since I wanted to taste it, but not have to finish a big bowl of pho. My food was delicious!!! It brings me back home! Their broth is just MMMM! Rich and delicious! My husband got the bánh mi, and we've established that 1 is not enough. Haha! I also ordered the avocado boba as well! Only complaint is that she kinda forgot.. so it took a little while to get it but it's a small deal. Pay at the counter.

Flew in from California and my cousin took me to a little hole in the wall place that he and his family frequent when they visit - Saigon Deli - I am very impressed! The pork broth w/pork & seafood soup was flavorful, delicious and aromatic! The manager and his staff were polite, attentive and food came out promptly.

Saigon Deli is a true Tampa treasure. I have been eating here for will over 12-15yrs. Their Bahn MI Grilled Pork Sub can not be beat. It's my favorite Bahn MI in Tampa...hands down. And I've tried a bunch of them. This visit I had the Grilled Pork Vermicelli Salad Bowl...my other fave. It's so so so delicious and more of a meal than the sandwich. My husband had the Pork and Seafood Fried Rice and our friends both had the Combo Beef Meatball Tripe Pho. They both really enjoyed their meals as well. This place isn't huge and is always busy, so don't be shocked when you end up parking in the grass. There is a little outside seating available too. The service is good, but I always feel like multiple people are all trying to take our orders. It's no big deal though....because every dish is awesome once you get it.

I come here all the time and have tried several dishes. This is a hole-in-the-wall, no frills type of place. You sit yourself, barely interact with the staff, and the food comes out right away, which I love. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. My only complaint is their odd business hours.

Most amazing pho I have had in Florida! The service is so quick and everything was delicious! We got Ban Mi sandwhices, beef pho, summer rolls and egg rolls, and everything was delicious. The whole family ate everything! And the Thai tea with Boba, amazing!
