The food was so delicious! The pho and kimchi fries were amazing! So flavorful and filling!

One of the few Asian grocery markets I have found somewhat near Geismar,LA. It's still a half hour drive away but it is fully stocked with all items needed for Vietnamese cooking. Some items are hit or miss depending on the day of week you shop. Items like Palut (fertilized duck egg) or blood cake will have to be timed with when the store gets it in stock and it usually sells out quickly.

Here's some pictures, and it's got a lot of cool stuff there It's like walking into little chinatown in chicago

Google
Our favorite place for vietnamese grocery. Takes a little of getting used to but overall there's ingredients my wife uses for cooking that other stores don't have. For its size they try to squeeze everything in here so I do hope they expand one day. God bless

Large portions unique flavors and a vast menu. The food is extremely fresh. They served a pile of oysters. That was enough for 2 people at a very reasonable price. The pho was ok but the duck in it was too tough to chew.

Google
I love this store. I tried a different one once and will not do that again. The majority of the products and labeled in English plus priced. Their produce is fresh as is their meats and seafood. The young woman at the register was very helpful. I love their mushrooms and buy several varieties just to saute in butter. Yum Prices are very reasonable and portions you can buy are great.

This place is hit & miss, beware not to come on a Sunday mid-morning because everyone is there right after church, very crowded! The owner was very friendly when the store was first opened. Now, she doesn't even say anything anymore. One thing, though, their prices are a little lower than Asian Super Market on Florida Blvd.

Yelp
I love this market!! They not only sell my favorite Cafe' Pho (instant iced milk coffee), they sell everything I could ever want or need to cook with, season with, marinate in, and/or use as dipping sauce. The shelves are always well stocked, and full of all sorts of wonderful things. You'll find yourself walking down the aisles full of wonder and in awe of the choices you never knew existed. It's really a nice place to shop and expand your taste buds. I'd highly recommend it.

Yelp
They have a very fun selection of microwave noodle bowls and an OK candy aisle. Their selection can be a bit random and sometimes they stop carrying something you want, but I'm always stricken with curiosity and will pick up something new. I'm a big fan of the Quoeviet brand "Hue" Style Beef Flavored Soup Base as it's my favorite go-to when I'm feeling a head cold coming on! This is also my go-to place for large bags of jasmine rice, which is yummy and very floral. Also, coffee candy, find some and thank me later! In the past year they've added a price scanner near the candy area so that you are no longer left guessing what things cost. They've also been better about keeping the flies out, an issue a lot of people had with this store a number of years ago.

Yelp
I informed the owner that the brown coconut the store sold to me couple days ago was moldy inside. The owner responded that since I chose the item, the responsibility was mine not theirs. I had spent several thousands of dollar in this store and they calculated a $2.5 coconut on me?

Yelp
Stopped by to get some of their Sunday lunches that are pre made. Not happy because we got a tray of banh bot loc and found mold. :(

Yelp
I usually go here once every few month to stock up on Asian products. They finally organize and put prices on their products. You used to guess or have to ask for the price. Produce are usually fresh. Cashier is usually friendly and helpful.

Yelp
"Asian foods, snacks, meats and produce in Baton Rouge". Eh, so it's not the most appealing on the inside, but it serves it purpose for sure. Thinking about making a savory stir-fry with snap peas, baby corn, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts? Well, you've come to the right place! They have those items on-hand for your. Feeling like an array of Asian snacks to haul with you on a road trip? They've got 'em! My favorite are the mochi snacks with green tea or red bean in the middle. I am a sucker for those. If you're lucky, you can even snag a box of some rambutan - a spiky, tropical fruit that you will surely love. On weekends, they have whole roast duck and some other hot foods for sale. Where are they located? They are in a corner plaza on Sherwood & Florida (you'll see a Walgreens there). Plus, you will are surrounded by some other restaurants and a smoothie shop that serves up boba/tapioca drinks, Hawaiian shaved ice/snowballs, etc. To wrap it all up, I enjoy coming here to browse and buy goodies. Tip: they also sell rice cookers, cookware, plates and cooking accessories. Happy shopping!

Yelp
My cousin ordered an entire roasted pig, yet they wanted to charge an additional $25 just for cutting when this should be included. He was already charged over $400 This is the most ridiculous amount I have ever heard! They demanded whole orders & no half orders!

Yelp
One thing I hate about this place is their pricing. You are left scratching your head wondering "WTF! Am I supposed to guess how much this cost?" .....The cashier, "No Sir! We make it up as we go along, rest assured, we ARE trained professional". Thank you! I feel much better....."here's my wallet, just take whatever you want".

Yelp
Fantastic Spring rolls, peanut sauce done just right. I had the beef vermicelli and loved it. Great ice tea too. The wife and I will be regulars here.

Yelp
Fun place to visit and learn a lot about Asian cooking! I love learning how to cook new cuisines or at least trying to cook them. Sadly, my dishes don't always turn out exactly authentic but that doesn't stop me from continuing to try. This is the perfect place to get authentic tips and ingredients. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The selection is phenomenal! Also, I can't speak for any of the meats but I did try a little triangular rice and mung bean treat wrapped in banana leaves, I cannot remember what it was called, but it was pretty tasty. Very interesting place to just explore. Be sure to try the green tea Kit Kats!

Yelp
This tiny little market has all your go to items necessary for a Vietnamese home cooked meal! In a shopping center with a Pho restaurant and Boba Tea shop, it's like your Asian one-stop plaza. Get your groceries, your pho fix and boba tea! I will say that they aren't always the cleanest when it comes to their fresh foods, I see uncovered food with flies hovering....however, their fresh veggies and seasonings, etc. Those are great! It's a reliable place in that it has what you need. If you can't find it, just ask and someone will gladly help you

Yelp
They have a nice selection of items here, not that big of a store. I always like that they have mini meals wrapped up and they are super delicious, one of them had a chicken quarter with rice and it was absolutely divine.

Yelp
A somewhat large market that is an ideal place to grab all of your Asian essentials. Meats, produce, spices, herbs and imported snacks can be found here along with fresh seafood. The store can be a little confusing as the organization isn't very great. Boxes and other clutter can be seen all over the store floor but once you have a feel of where everything is you'll get over the clutter and mess. My biggest concern about this place is that some items are have marked prices and some does not. Resulting to constantly having to ask the cashier or employees how much everything is. This is very inconvenient and concerns me if prices are being made up on the fly or not. But, I've heard that there is a price scanner near the register to help out with this issue. The weekends can be very busy here making it harder to ask for help around the store. Additionally they have whole roast pork and roast duck along with a large variety ready to eat prepared Vietnamese food that you'll only see here on the weekends. Although at this market you will not have worry if they have what you need, finding it is the problem. Selection is plenty but organization is lacking and it is much needed. At the end of the day, you can rely on Saigon Hong Kong Seafood Market to always have what you need.

Yelp
This place can be hit or miss. Their produce can either be super fresh or very lackluster looking. On my last trip; they didn't look too great. They have a big variety of sauces and seasonings, but be sure to check expiration dates though. They also sell some fresh food items, so keep an eye out.

Yelp
Very unorganized but they have way more stuff than the asian store in perkins rd. Il definitely come back. I am not so sure about their meat though.. it looks like its been there for years.

Yelp
The staff was very helpful, and I was able to find everything I needed for my first foray into Vietnamese cooking. My one complaint? Nothing has a price tag!

Yelp
This is my everyday Asian market.I usually purchase a sandwich here. The cashiers are always helpful if you need to find something because there aren't aisle signs on the ceiling.I get my lee's coffee here and it is delicious.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly, explaining the ingredients, prices (they were very willing to give prices, unlike a previous post). They do not have price tags, but I found everything to be very reasonable if not surprisingly cheap.

Yelp
Was really looking forward to finding some affordable horse mackerel and a few other odds and ends. What I found was rusted shelves covered in aluminum foil, an unwrapped "frozen" chicken in a cooler unit. Flies. Dead flies. Dead flies everywhere. On produce, on meat, on everything. Vile. Will not be coming back.
