"Saigon Pho Tempo’s broth balances its sweet notes out with powerfully savory beef flavor, dishing up pho that’s well-balanced, satisfying, and never watery. Expect generous sheets of rare beef cresting through the surface of the broth, and pungent culantro served on the side." - Eater Staff

The food is good, but the principal lies in the service and the integrity of the servers. And the servers stole from me. Or my bank rather. And if they are petty enough to steal a dollar, imagine how many times they've done it before. It was just me, I ordered the large Pho, which was $17, and a free water that I didn't even get a refill on. The server only came by 2 or maybe 3 times total, and I never asked for anything else but my initial water and my food order. $2 was fair for their efforts, but I guess greed won. Now, it earned y'all a one-star review over a dollar. To the owner, please teach your employees to have more respect for your business and some integrity not to steal. Cause they were caught with these photos!

Positive: We ordered Cơm tấm bì sườn chả, mỳ bò kho, phở , bún bò Huế. Only the first two orders were tasty. Their Phở and Bun Bo Hue are just ok, not impressive. The waitress was very friendly. Negatives: my husband and all of us went to the cashier to pay. The cashier was so busy, after We told her our table then she gave my husband a receipt with No itemized and a spot to put tip. My husband Had no idea that tip was automatically charged in the total of the payment so be put tips in the tip section. After He signed, the cashier handed to him a copy. From started to the end, there was one mentioned to us That the tip was automatically charged into our bill. We walked away with the receipt and my husband still thinking why the total is $75 . We wondered if the tip was I voided into the total price and they didn’t tell us so we gave more tip? I decided to check with the owner and she told us that they’re already mentioned that in the menus that 18% tip will be automatically charged into the bill for any table with 4 guests and up. We didn’t see that. The owner also mentioned that the cashier had already mentioned that to us and showed us the itemized while we are paying. ( we didn’t hear anything and didn’t see the itemIe). She went to her staff and came back to us said that the waitress is very sure that she did mentioned to us that the bill is already Included the tip. This is not honest. We don’t mind to give them more tip but we expected them to be upfront . I believed that there is no law for the automatically charge for tip. Plus, they are not honest. We husband is their customer for years. They should not do that to us. I told her to check her camera again to see if the cashier has showed the itemized to us or not but she refused to do that and said she will train her staff again. Food is good, service is good except for the charge. No one want to pay for the hidden prices. And they need to be honest .

I like stop here and buying fresh cruncy and delicious vietnamese sandwich with chichken. They have many food options with fast and polite service. I think perfect option for launch and dinner for local people. inside clean. They connected with a asian market u can shopping here too. For truck drivers if you come and delivery here leave 15 min and get great food inside.

Google
This is the best Pho and spring rolls I had in MN so far. They give a lot of brisket meats. While you are there, you can grocery shop for Asians food as well since it is connected to this restaurant. I have been here twice this week already. I also ordered their papaya salad, but I was not impressed. It was too sour for me. It is definitely not Thai or Laos style with the papaya salad. I highly recommend this place if you are happening to be nearby. They are very busy with only 2 waitresses, but they are friendly.

I ordered through UBER and thoroughly impressed by the packaging, taste and presentation. Pho dac Biet and cold cut Banh Mi is legit!

Google
Damn good Banh Mi! Can’t beat the price and quality of this place. You definitely need to give their egg rolls a try too. They’re large and super crispy. It’s gives off a hole in the wall vibe, but the saying stands true here as they had amazing food. Please know I use that term endearingly, as they keep it pretty clean there. Can’t wait to go there again!

Google
The selfish side of me wants to rate this restaurant at a 1-star for everything so that no one else will come here... but in reality, this is the absolute BEST pho I've had in MN. That homemade garlic chili oil is no joke. Don't come here so I can keep getting seating. Thank you for your cooperation. Note: Agreed with the other review regarding the 18% gratuity that is added on for 4+ people. It's not very obvious, and is automatically added on without an itemized receipt. I don't believe the establishment is being dodgy about it, but they could be more informative.

Google
Best Bon Bo Hue that I have taste in MN. This place is well know for this delicious plate, it is the chef special. All the other food is also delicious, we try the Orange Chicken and the Pepper Steak and both were excellent in flavor. The service is great and reasonable price. 💯% Recommended

Yelp
I have been coming here for over a year. It is easily my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the metro. Egg rolls are best around, Banh Mi is great, Pho is top 3 I have ever had, rice platters are really good. Haven't had anything I don't love. I have ate at over 15 of the better or more well known Vietnamese restaurants across the metro including Que Viet, Lotus, Quang, Pho Tau Bay, Pho Pasteur, Pho 79, Pho Mai etc. etc. and this place beats them all. The Asian grocery store it is inside of is a fun stop after you eat as well. Grab a box of Melona ice cream bars for desert.

Yelp
Restaurant is set inside an Asian grocery store. Nice parking lot. We seated ourselves in a booth, servers were attentive and quick. We ordered pho, bahn mi sandwiches, and spring rolls. All came out very fast and hot! Prices were reasonable. Walked off our food by strolling around the market, which also offers some baked goods and read to eat foods. Will definitely return when we're in the area!

Yelp
Janet was our server she was nice served us with a smile, very helpful with the menu and very attentive to our needs. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and my girlfriend ordered the pork egg rolls. The shrimp rolls were great generous portion and they weren't stingy with the shrimp. We ordered pho, I had shrimp pho with chicken, and my other half got the beef pho. It was a great place to eat, quiet, great staff and best of all the Pho is great, the spring and egg rolls too.

Yelp
First time here. It's part of the Saigon Asian grocery store. It's seat yourself with table service. Prices are appropriate with portion size. Friendly service, clean and small. There's about 10 tables I think for service. They have a decent menu offer. Food is tasty and flavorful.

Yelp
Located inside Saigon Market, this place changed ownership and names. Food still taste the same and just like anywhere else dine in always taste the best. They don't have a menu for you to take but when you get there you can scan a QR code for the menu. Staffs are friendly and when I called and place my order I was told it'll be 20 mins but I didn't actually get my order closer to 35-40 mins later because they caught my order was made incorrectly. I'm glad they took the extra time to double check rather than giving me the order. If you haven't tried their 5 spice chicken wings are really good!! Eggs rolls are a hit or miss, sometimes it can be over fried causing it to be burnt. As mentioned about dine in is better than take out especially when you want pho. I don't know why but something tastes off.

Yelp
This is a pretty nice dining spot for delicious Vietnamese, tucked away inside of an also-really-nice Asian Market with all sorts of goodies to buy before or afterwards also -- That is once you're able to actually find a parking space that's not taken up by all the Shooter's Billiards patrons, or swallowed up by one of the many crater-sized potholes (seriously, this lot looks like a scene out of 'War Horse' or 'All Quiet on the Western Front'!) The staff are really nice and accommodating though, especially for how late and busy it got on Friday night. So, I try to not get too hung up on the parking lot situation as it's probably not 100% this establishment's responsibility. I ordered the Chef special pho, which was sooo good! Honestly this is probably the best pho I've had yet. The broth was not too spicy but spicy enough, which is just about perfect for my tastes. And, the pork roll and beef flank were absolutely superb! The fresh spring rolls and sauce were pretty tasty, too. I am definitely going to have to come back and try that huge crepe I noticed some folks ordering, and maybe a banh mi sandwich eventually also.

Yelp
The Pho is the best I've had so far in the Minneapolis area. I have lived in both Orange County Little Saigon Area and Oakland so I know good pho when I try it. It is located in an Asian grocery store so you can pick up all the standards such as fish sauce and more. The ambiance is like a typical hole in the wall restaurant and the service is great. If you're in the mood for a good bowl of pho you will not be disappointed at Pho Tempo.

Yelp
Suuuuuper solid Bahn Mi, prices were good, fast super fresh ingredients and good customer service. I will be back regularly!

Mickensie W.

Yelp
Yummmm! The fresh spring rolls were to die for. The best flavorful spicy pho and the orange chicken was tasty. Quick service and short wait times. I like that you can dine inside of this market and shop around afterwards. We can't wait to go back and try something else!

Elise M.

Yelp
This place was cute and service was very fast and friendly. Their crab cheese wontons were far above the norm, some of the best I have had! The pho was very good as well. We got bahn mi sandwiches to go and they held up very well, quite tasty even the next day (however mine was a bit spicy for my taste). I could definitely see this becoming my go-to pho spot in the area!

Lisa R.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. It's a grocery store but it's also super tasty. Maybe not the place to dine for a celebration or entertaining clients but perfect spot for a quick pho and the spring roll peanut sauce is infinitely better than the one they serve at Amazing Thailand. If I ever find myself hungry in Burnsville I would definitely return to Pho Tempo in the Saigon market

Yelp
Overall satisfying. Visited this spot for lunch with friends. Ordered some apps and pho! 1. Oxtail pho: all was good except for the oxtail part. Meat was not tender. Otherwise regular sized bowl had huuuuge portion. Great broth. 2. My sister who is vegan ordered vegetable pho but they do not have veggie broth. It would be nice if they had vegan broth options for vegetable pho and maybe with tofu added as a protein option like a lot of the other places. 3. Egg rolls : they were really good. But didn't expect them to be so big! :-) haha definitely recommend! 4. It's in this little strip mall and an Asian market, so it's nice to look around or go grocery shopping! 5. Place was overall clean and staff was friendly. Spacious seating. I would return again.

Yelp
The best traditional Vietnamese restaurant I've ever gone to, and I'm a food snob. I've brought my friends and a few members of my family because it's just so good and they love it. It's also a great price for how much you get! The pho is delicious, but U highly suggest the chicken pad Thai - to die for. The staff are so polite as well. Everything is just amazing!

Yelp
This restaurant has a new name but has the same concept as the original restaurant Pho 45 that was originally located here. I visit the Saigon Asian Market frequently for groceries so this makes it convenient to dine in or takeout all in one spot.

Stein G.

Yelp
Excellent food - egg rolls are not to be missed - chef special pho a treat as is beef pho - service friendly and efficient - highly recommended

Mona A.

Yelp
Pho is really good but the sandwich had a weird chicken taste to it. Service was amazing it was my first time having pho and she was very welcoming

Yelp
Authentic, delicious. Inside the Asian good market. Plates were pretty big and filling. High quality pork and beef. We will be back soon for sure

Yelp
usually an ok spot but if they mess up on your order they will call you a liar and refuse to fix the issue

Samantha R.

Yelp
I wanted no onion in my soup and they still put it I am a bit mad about it but they treated me with respect so I give it 3 stars :)

Michelle A.

Yelp
Second time here. New name but same concept of pho and Vietnamese food. I like the Mock Duck Bahn Mi Sandwich here. It's a large portion. I ordered the orange chicken for my son. He didn't eat the egg roll. These are really good dunked in the egg roll fish sauce. I tried a little orange chicken and was good too. FYI their fried rice is mostly white rice with veggies, not the brown type fried rice found everywhere else. They are super friendly here.

Yelp
Food came out fast and so flavorful. Service was great! It is connected to a grocery store.

Yelp
One of the best spots in the twin cities for Vietnamese food. The veggie Pho is something very special and is heavenly. I lived off of it for a couple of weeks after Surgery. Super friendly staff. Ryan is usually working the counter and he is fantastic. Lots of booths to enjoy the food if dining in and TVs with music videos on. I highly recommend this spot.

K M.

Yelp
The food is so tasty and fresh! Service was friendly. Entrees are affordable. Just try it!

Justin C.

Yelp
Authentic and great prices but meat was a little under done for my liking. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely will give them another try.

Wendy S.

Yelp
This place took over the what was then Pho 45 about a month ago when I asked. The menu is different. Their grilled pork is significantly mediocre compared to Pho 45. Eggroll is okay and pho is ok. Nothing to rave about. If you want a basic Asian spot, this fits the bill. Basically, this is the lower version of what was once a super delicious Asian place which is such a bummer :( Pho 45 moved to Lakeville so it looks like I'll have to head over there for my fix now.

Tee W.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to enjoy authentic, comfort Vietnamese food and shop for groceries every weekend. We live in the south side of Twin Cities. There are a few special dishes that they do well here. Kids love their "Banh Xeo" and I like "Bun Bo Hue". Everyone loves "Pho", obviously. Also, fried egg rolls are the best here. Restaurant ownership went through some change recently but food is still the same great taste. Staff is mostly the same people in the back. Nice to see they are trying to keep things affordable here. It can get pretty busy on some weekends. If you are in the area, I would recommend to hit up this joint.

Shawn L.

Yelp
Food is fresh made to order. Very tasty and fast service. Staff was very friendly and the amount food for the price is unbeatable.

D B.

Yelp
Came here for the first time with a friend who's been coming here for a while. Both got the Beef pho and they were able to make a papaya salad that was not on the menu. Under a new name but same owners and same cook. The menu is also a bit different. Do not get this place confused with the newly opened Pho 45 in Lakeville. Totally different owners and not afflicted with one another. This was confirmed by Kim ! We will be back for sure.
