Why Do We Call Chicken ‘Chicken’ But Cow Meat ‘Beef’? | Eater
"The supermarket's Basics brand served as a dependable source of cheap staples, enabling the author to stretch a tight student budget and rely on inexpensive, no‑frills ingredients while learning to cook away from subsidized dining." - C Pam Zhang
They're very quick, efficient and the staff here are super lovely- Specially i Mention Manager Rafiq bro is very helpful any issue just ask him he'll solve.
they even ask how your day is! I have never been here and had an unpleasant experience and is why I keep returning. Yes it does get very busy but you would be surprised how quick the ques go down so dont be put off by the que length. It's not always like that, but yeah the que line can look overwhelming but it does go down super quick. Really recommend this place.

With the nearby Asda closed and no other supermarkets close by, this Sainsburys store is incredibly busy most of the day, everyday.
The store is too small for the volume of customers, with narrow aisles and it feels very chaotic, noisy and loud and while I can see the staff doing their best, it’s a horrible place to shop unless you visit very early or very late.
Fresh produce looks messy and half empty most times, the 4 weighing scales rarely work.

Sainsbury’s at 1 Cambridge Heath Rd, is a convenient superstore I often visit for groceries and essentials. It’s open from 7am to 11pm daily, with a bright, spacious interior and friendly staff. You can find everything from fresh produce to clothing and homeware here. There’s also a Whitechapel Argos inside, which is handy for electronics and household items. Easy to access and well-stocked, it's a reliable one-stop spot in the area. They have Argos and Ebay collection point, which is very very useful.

Good staff. Disastrously managed. Staff are very helpful and trying to make everything work but are stressed and often resort to shouting due to lack of system for moving customers around.

The toilets in this Sainsbury’s store have been out of order for a long time — and not just one, all of them. How is it possible that every single toilet is out of order at the same time? What a coincidence — or more like a complete lack of care from management. It’s been ages and still no action has been taken. Are the managers or higher-ups just ignoring this issue? What exactly is the responsibility of the branch director if even basic customer facilities are left unusable for this long? This level of neglect is completely unacceptable and shows no respect for customers.

This is a very busy Sainsbury's store are Whitechapel. Most things are available, well organised. They have recently added more self checkout. The queue to pay was long, and took me nearly 30 minutes to pay.

Great store, plenty of different items, clothes are decent too. Just a nightmare getting out of the car park, the lights only let 3 cars go at a time, it's a busy junction

Large supermarket close to the city. Excellent transport links but most importantly a large car park for shoppers, 90min free parking.
The front of the store has been redesigned and the car park is now on one level in the front of the store. The store is good size with all the usual products, lots of self checkouts but the end of the queue is awkwardly positioned and you can't always tell when a checkout is empty.
There is an Argos collection point insid. There are toilets for customers.

Yelp
I love this store! It's got all that a large supermarket has to offer as well as household items. Look out for the weekly specials - if you keep your eyes peeled you can save a lot.
There are lots of self service aisles too, which speeds up the check out process.
I hope that once the car park high rise is finished, the store does not flood with a lot more people and cause shopping chaos!

All I have to say is buy the Sainsbury Brand products: honey, cereal, ketchup, frozen fish fingers, ramen, jam, wine, bubbily water, the list goes on and on. They're all made in the same factory, you know.
You'll walk away with a full bag of groceries, a full wallet, and eventually, a full stomach.

Yelp
This is a big Sainsbury's that has the full works. It is a busy store, but if you can handle the crowds, you can easily do a weekly shop here.

Yelp
Sainsbury's is a great supermarket. Loads on offer and deals are great to.
This is one of the bigger Sainsbury's around, large store which sells clothes, entertainment such as DVD's, games & books. A huge grocery range to choose from and a plus with on the go food as well. Staffs have been trained well and are friendly offering to pack bags for you even if it is only one or two items. They are smiley and talkative.
The Taste the Difference range on offer is unique and on most lines worth that extra little bit of money for a premium quality. Sainsbury Basic range is also adequate.
Good to see Sainsbury's doing deals on games recently, picked a few bargains in the last few weeks.
Big car park so parking is not an issue, a petrol station as well to fill the gas up.
