Sainsbury's

This is a large Sainsbury's branch. In addition to the usual supermarket fare, it also houses the Tu clothing range and a Timpsons key cutting and dry cleaning service. You can also collect items ordered online from Argos here. The café that used to operate on the first floor is now permanently closed. Externally, there is a wall of Inpost lockers plus two ATMs, one of which dispenses both Euros and US dollars. On the opposite side of the car park, there is a Sainsburys petrol station.

Not so big, Impressive. Almost everything available. Wines collection is very limited. Long queues. Not well stocked. Most of the crates were empty. Atmosphere was not according to Christmas season. Clean.

Our go to for all our shopping needs. Little expensive but never disappoints you. Fresh stock and a very big aisles for Asian grocery. Wide range of options and one stop shopping destination. Highly recommended.

I visited this store and was so delighted by the fruit and veg area. It was clean, very organised and nothing was out of place. Neil was the member of staff looking after this area and I complimented him and spoke to a manager to say how hard he must work to keep it looking so good. This is a calm organised store and the items on the shelves seem to be logically in the right place. A little more lighting and this is a good store to shop at...thank you....

Many times me and my wife noticed that the item that are “discounted” with a nectar membership isn’t actually when you scan it the discount doesn’t come up and you have to tell somebody of the store to do it manually for you to apply the discount.. so be careful with these scammers .. especially when you buy a lot of staff you may not notice the discounts aren’t being applied so it’s fake strategy really to attract customers ..

I had a really disappointing experience here as a foreign customer. The cashier questioned the validity of my official Brazilian ID and treated me with suspicion for no reason, even though I’m over 18 and was respectful the entire time. It was upsetting, and I felt discriminated against just for being a Latina woman shopping alone. I’ve never been treated like this anywhere else in Europe. Please train your staff to be more informed and respectful toward international customers. 😡😡

Got everything I neeeeeeded. Such as vegan yoghurt and non-Christmas wrapping paper/sellotape, flowers plus a LAVA LAMP from Argos! Life is good! 4 stars for the employee bossing another associate about and the gum chewing gal at Argos.

Hands down the one of the best Sainsbury's in Manchester. There's a large variety of foods and products here. They've even got a good selection of vegan foods, halal food and kosher food. The special offers and sales are great for people looking for a bargain or cheap groceries. The only down side I've seen to this Sainsburys, and the reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the untidy and dirty till and checkout areas. They've got boxes and receipts lying around all over the floor which I took pictures of for reference. Other than that, this Superstore petty much has it all.
