One of my favourite places to eat in Melbourne. Usually get there on a special occasion at least once every year. Menu often changes with 3 or 4 options for each of entree, main and dessert. $50 for 2 coursea or $65 for 3. Fantastic service and the food is always brilliant. Never disappoints.

Great concept, but average dining experience. The restaurant is going through an interesting experiment where they host a different upcoming head chef every 3 months. The current theme (until 02-Jun) is a modern take on an old school Chinese menu. My girlfriend and I had the banquet menu for 75 dollars/person, which was presented as a chef's choice menu to try out different flavours. It actually turned out to be a standard 4 "courses" shared between us. Our main and largest course was Barramundi fish, fried rice and Asian greens. Bottom line, there was not enough food, we actually felt that the menu was missing a course and left us wanting more. For the food that was served, there was not a lot of variety, having several smaller dishes per course to share would be more interesting. We didn't feel this menu was good value, we believe you can get more variety and food quantity ordering a la carte for the same price and sharing the dishes. Definitely not Scott Pickett quality. Staff were friendly, but quite pushy with the drinks. We ordered cocktails and wine and even then staff asked us 6-7 times if we needed more drinks. Overall, nothing spectacular. Try it out if you want to be a part of the Broadsheet kitchen experience, but choose your own dishes and don't expect the original Saint Crispin.

The ambiance and staff were great. The entrees and sides were also quite tasty. My main, the lamb, was not the best cut of the meat and was extra chewy making it difficult to rate my experience higher. Other people I dined with really liked their food and dessert so I might just have to come back to review it again.

Possibly my favorite restaurant in Melbourne and a little more wallet friendly and less pretentious than others in similar foodie category. As of November 2018 they've started an interesting program of guest chef residencies in collaboration with Broadstreet Kitchen, with each guest chef taking the helm for 3 months. Highly recommended!

There's no doubt that Saint Crispin is good value, however if you're after a 'two hat' experience, look elsewhere. The food is generally good, though rarely spectacular (having been a few times). The service is generally poor, and the wine program is uninspired and overpriced. Having said that, for the price it's worth a visit as a nice night out.

Quite an interesting concept as they change the resident chef every 3 months! When we were there, it was Chinese theme. Personally I feel it's more Japanese, Chinese fusion.

Excellent service and creative menu. There highlight of the menu are the snacks! Perfect accompaniment with drinks
