London’s Best Restaurant Blackboard Menus | Eater London

"A spare, hymn-like bar menu that signals austerely delicious cooking, typically offering a tight rotation of 9–10 savoury plates anchored by roast bone marrow with parsley salad alongside bread, salads, Welsh rarebit and a cold sandwich. The terse, epigrammatic dish descriptions (think faggot and peas; cold roast kid liver with anchovy; jellied skate and mayonnaise) precisely reflect a rustic, nose-to-tail sensibility in the kitchen. Desserts play strongly on nostalgia, usually including a hot pudding, a fruit jelly, a mess, a parfait, something with butterscotch, sorbet and vodka, and staples such as Eccles cakes, Lancashire cheese and madeleines." - Jonathan Nunn

Google
We popped in for a drink and vibe while in the neighborhood and loved the dinosaur decoration, great energy and some of the nicest, kindest energy from Mikey at the bar. We were visiting in town and he had great recommendations. If we were local, we’d be eternal regulars. The menu had great food and the drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. It’s a perfect bar to go hang out in the Capitol Hill neighborhood and we’ll be back next time we’re in Seattle

Google
absolutely love this place! Saint John's is so precious, has great food and drinks, arguably the best fries, and pretty incredible burgers too. a year ago my husband and I went here after our elopement to celebrate, and more recently this year I went here for an afterparty after a concert. it's always a great time, and I look forward to coming back to see what they have streaming on the tv. the interior is filled with dinos and fun art (won't spoil it for you, go see it for yourself) - it's a delight! I always take people here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting! Saint John's, you're my number one.

Google
Great little bar and grill. The food far exceeded my expectations! The menu was nicely varied. The beer selection was somewhat limited, but adequate. My only complaint is that they don't have true table service; you place your order at the bar and they will bring it to your table when it's ready. We really enjoyed the back 'patio'. It's technically outside but it's covered. Nice area if you want to escape the loudness of the bar scene - you can actually have a conversation back there. Definitely will return!

Google
This place was fantastic. Cozy atmosphere with friendly service. We got their patty melt and a blackened chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. The chicken sandwich had such a great flavor combo. The buns were also delicious. They also had gluten free buns if you are GF and gluten free fish and chips (and more) in addition to vegetarian options. The fries were different and so tasty. We started with stuffed dates which are always my favorite. Will definitely be back here.

Google
If you are looking for a place in Capitol Hill that has delicious food, great service, and generous management, Saint John's is the spot! The drinks are well balanced and their food goes above and beyond usual bar food. This bar has hosted our choir after our concert weekend and the staff has accommodated us with kindness-we are lucky that Saint John's has become a part of our choir traditions. Check them out!

Google
I was genuinely surprised at just how good the food was at Saint John's: the nachos, brussel sprouts (no for real -- trust me they were phenomenal), and sweet ginger wings were all particularly delicious! Drinks were also really good, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. The staff was super attentive and nice, and the bathrooms were clean -- overall a great night out and I definitely recommend eating here! There's a patio out back which I'm sure is lovely when the weather's nice, so also check that out when you come!

Google
Great atmosphere here specially if you like tiny dinosaurs, you'll see! Food is always great, the main house burger is a favorite, drinks are nice and staff is always super friendly and kind! The outdoor patio area in the back is lovely, give it a shot!

Google
Love coming into St. John’s, the drinks and staff are always great! We’ve been having our wrap party with them for a few years and they always treat us so well and handle the rush of a big group so kindly.

Yelp
I was with a walk-in party of 10. They quickly arranged tables together to accommodate us. The food came out quickly and it was very good. When we left I forgot my glasses at the table. Our group split into a walking group and an Uber group as we left the restaurant. The cook actually came out onto the street literally running to where the Uber group was waiting on the street, to return my glasses. That is exceptional service.

Samantha P.

Yelp
Great crew at St Johns! Good food, good beer, overall great vibes! We had our after party for our choir there and had a great time.

Yelp
Came by to grab a beer and kill some time before the pumpkin beer fest. It was early, so the place was pretty empty. We went to the back patio area and sat down in a very cleverly decorated zone with dinosaur and Star wars figurines. We got some tater tots, sweet potato fries, and brussel sprouts to snack on while enjoying the whimsy. Everything was tasty and plentiful, with prices being a little high but not unreasonable.

Yelp
How have I never been to Saint John's before?! It's such a cute bar, with photos of different animals and dinosaurs everywhere. Ordered a couple beers and Jell-O shots for the table. The food was delicious and portions very generous. I had the Mission: Impossible (Vegan) Burger with a side salad, but my group also ordered fish and chips, Cajun wings, vegan meatballs, and Brussels sprouts. The food came out quickly and the staff was so friendly!
google avatar

Alex G.

Yelp
St John has a fun funky vibe mixed with a neighborhood bar feel. It seems busy whenever I walk by and was when I visited. It's a bit small with a small patio out back. You order food and drinks at the counter. Staff were personable and helpful. The burger was juicy and flavorful and my friends couldn't keep their hands off of my sweet potato tots! The cocktails were thoughtful and on point. This place is an easy choice if you're meeting up with people and need to decide on a place to eat!

Yelp
This is a go-to spot for a reason. Classic spot for the arts crowd to go. If you've ever done any theatre in the area, you know that Saint John's is the place to go. Can't tell you how many parties and celebrations I've been to/held here. It's a Seattle staple. The drinks are great and reasonable, the staff is great, the service always top notch, and the food is always a hit. Can't go wrong with the fries, the burgers, or really anything on the menu. The vibes are great.

Yelp
We were on the hunt for a quick brunch on Saturday, and we came across St. John's - zero wait time, breakfasty foods on the menu, and booth seating were more than enough to convince us to come in. The breakfast/brunch options are basic but substantial. Everyone but one person in our group got the bagel breakfast sandwich. They source the bagels from Macrina Bakery, and they were perfectly crispy and soft. At $10 a sandwich, we were quite happy. The service was quick, and the waiter was super friendly. I think this spot is often overlooked but a great option for weekend brunch, especially when you've forgotten to make reservations elsewhere.
google avatar

Kaitlin B.

Yelp
The food and service here was awesome! We split a patty melt and the brussel sprout appetizer. The burger was perfectly cooked and the Brussel sprouts were crispy and seasoned well. I ordered a cocktail that was good but not to my taste, and the bartender was kind enough to remake it for me. Both of our drinks were delicious. Also the ambiance is really fun. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
There are a number of reasons to recommend Saint John's as an establishment. One might consider the casually calm, secluded patio at the back of the bar a great merit, or perhaps one could (rightfully!) rave about the quality of the food or the consistently solid cocktails and rotating draft beer selection. A wise patron may also mention the lovely ambiance and great sound at Cami's karaoke night on Thursdays, or the enthusiastic crowd drawn by trivia every Wednesday. It really is worth an extra aside to underscore the quality of the food. Saint John's does a fantastic job of balancing a variety of options (including an appreciable number of gluten-free and vegan items) with relentless delicious quality. A memory lingers in my mind: I look across the table at my friend who ordered the Cajun wings with garlic aioli that we shared. "Aioli is just fancy mayonnaise, right?" I nod. "I don't even like mayo--" I chime in with my agreement. "But this is GOOD." Again I agree. For a modest price considering the cost of living around here, you, too, can have Cajun-spiced food (either chicken wings or fries) served with garlic aioli for dipping. I recommend it. The fact remains that although all these factors serve to recommend Saint John's on Pike not far above Summit Avenue on Capitol Hill, none of them strike the picky barhopper as unique. For these nitpickers I slip an ace out of my sleeve: Saint John's maintains a persistent dedication to its dinosaur motif. I have not yet divined the root reason behind this aesthetic. It doesn't matter. This is THE DINOSAUR BAR and there is no other place like it. The chill and professional staff as well as the amiable regulars know it is THE DINOSAUR BAR and, as a result, remain down to earth and approachable. There are dinosaur figures at every table to be posed as if you were nine years old and inventing Jurassic soap operas with your little brother in the basement play area in 1997 again. Even if you turn your nose up at all that, there is no excuse for not marveling at the enormous asteroid-and-dinosaurs mural on the western wall. The dinosaurs even have feathers, as is up to date with modern research.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this bar! Made good fancy drinks, had cheap beer, and super friendly staff - thanks Mikey. Low key vibe, good music in the background, and just the right amount of dicey. Neighborhood is what it is, so keep your head up.

Yelp
I had a good time at Saint John's -- good ambience. Good place to hang out with friends.

Yelp
I went to Saint John's hoping to enjoy some crispy, golden fries, but what I got was a potato's version of a yoga class - they were so bendy and flexible, I half expected them to start doing downward dog! Seriously, if you're into bendy fries that double as slingshots, this is your spot. Just be sure to bring your own ketchup as these fries couldn't hold a dip if their life depended on it. Bon appétit...if you can bend your way to enjoying it! But great drinks, ambiance, and okay service.

Yelp
The best burgers, fries, and service in Seattle, hands down! Thursday night karaoke is the place to be. Usually Seattle service is piss poor but I've found the opposite to be true here. Servers in SLU seem to watch their shoes while walking past tables, it's different here. Folks make sure their guests are taken care of.

Yelp
Spend enough time in St. John's and it begins to become a part of who you are. Even after moving out of the neighborhood, I've remained a loyal patron of this joint since the Harvard Ave. QFC used to have two entrances :-) The unwritten "no assholes" policy sets the tone for an inclusive environment where everyone is not only welcome but encouraged to be themselves. This is a rarity, especially in Capitol Hill, which can sometimes be overrun with pretentiousness. This place feels like an extension of my living room, the food is straight Fi-Ya, and the back patio is a whole vibe! Get yourself into this joint and tell Michael that Doc sent you.

Yelp
I've been to Saint John's twice in the last month and love it very much. Wasn't on my radar (I don't spend all that much time on the Hill) until two friends recommended it. Love the vibe which is fun and a little gritty with dinosaurs galore. Love our server (same both visits) who was so genuinely lovely. Love the music and that it's not too loud to have a conversation with your table-mates. Table service if you're dining in or you can order at the bar. Cocktails are good and also pretty. I've had the Maneater (anejo tequila, Montenegro, brown sugar cardamom syrup, lemon) and Cherry Glazerr (vodka, dark cherry syrup, house sour, vegan foam) and would order both again. Excellent happy hour M-F from 4-6 with drink specials and snack specials. Dinner foods are also great, and lots of veg options. I especially recommend the tofu banh mi and the brussels sprouts. Cannot wait to spend lots more time here!

Yelp
HH REVIEW ONLY: 2-6pm Mon-Fri SOLID Happy Hour spot in Capitol Hill. A+ for the variety of food specials on their HH menu, and a B- for the drink specials (not a huge price difference for HH, about a $1 cheaper, but their normal cocktail prices are on the cheaper side). I came with a group of 3 other girls on a Thursday. The place started getting pretty packed around 5:15-5:30 PM. We ordered a bunch of items off of the HH menu to share. Handcut Gold Fries (5/5- we ordered 2 of these, the garlic aioli is SO GOOD), Braised Short Rib Tacos (3/5- very bland... I had to put a lot of hot sauce on it, but there is a lot of meat for the meat lovers out there), Mac N Mornay (4/5 also a bit lacking in flavor but a little bit of salt fixed this), and the 1lb Chicken Wings (5/5- a big portion for $9. I think there were 7-8 wings? ANDDD they were delicious). I ordered the Pear Collins ($1 cheaper on HH), and a fruit/lemonade vodka drink (not on HH). Both were tasty but didn't contain much alcohol... So then I ordered the 'Shot and Schoon' for $9 which was a great value for the amount of alcohol :) The waitress was awesome, place was clean, and the food specials on HH were great. Definitely stop by to grab some reasonably priced food!

Yelp
A great spot for a casual catch-up with friends -- the service was really fast and the ambiance is perfect. Our waiter was attentive and checked in on us without feeling overbearing. Highly recommend the artichoke dip to share -- it was served warm and gooey and was SO. GOOD. I can totally see myself stopping back in here!

Yelp
I really don't write reviews, but my experience at Saint John's unfortunately deserves one. I ate here with my boyfriend on New Year's day. We got there at probably 12:30, there were a decent amount of people eating but it was definitely not full. It took a while to order, and then the real waiting began. I would generously estimate that it took an hour + to receive our food. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy and I got the scramble. We also got the fries. After waiting for so long with no update, watching people who came in after us get their food first, the fries and biscuits and gravy were brought to the table cold :( Like congealed cold. We waited so long and were just so over the experience we didn't say anything, but I don't think it's too high of a bar to expect food to come to the table at least warm. The waiter was very nice and personable. Coffee was pretty good. My scramble was okay. But the food being cold after waiting so long truly sucked. I would avoid their brunch.
google avatar

Maryam K.

Yelp
We were super impressed with the food - the Brussel sprouts, Yukon gold potatoes and St. John's Burger were standouts. If you walk-up on a weekend night you definitely will have to wait a bit but it's worth it. Staff are super helpful and kind too. We'll be back!
google avatar

B M.

Yelp
This is a place that a lot of people seem to like but I will not be trying again. My to-go burgers were burnt and they forgot the bacon that was paid for. It wasn't busy so a rush of orders couldn't have been the issue. I am giving 3 stars because the bouncer and wait staff were nice and the music was good. The food - not so much. Not worth the risk of trying again. Best of luck if you do!

Yelp
Rounding out our night bar hopping around Capitol Hill. This place is dino-themed and has great drinks. My favorite was the Coconut Lime Rickey. It's rum-based with lime juice and coconut cream. Taste like a pina colada. We also ordered a plate of their yukon gold fries. Thick-cut topped with garlic & lemon aioli. Perfect to share! Tip: Check out the cute dinosaurs in the back!
google avatar

Yelp
We're visiting from California and stopped to have a drink. We were in the mood for alcohol & coffee and ta-da our server Rachel suggested the Carlisle Coffee, Omgsh thee best! It was perfect for this winter weather! And Rachel was great, friendly & attentive Definitely will come back again
google avatar

Rachel V.

Yelp
Awful food, awful service. I can't imagine why anyone would spend their money here. We got 2 brunch entrees; breakfast burrito and Biscuits n Gravy. All of the food tasted so bland and definitely needed salt. But even then it was still a flat taste. On another occasion, ive been here just for a cocktail and I swear the bartender didn't use any alcohol. Why would I pay $8 for a sugar koolaide?!
google avatar

Yelp
Saint John's is a great place for a Happy Hour! Been there for a couple of HH visits recently and was a perfect place to catch up with some friends. HH is from 2-6 on weekdays, good sized HH menu with some tasty bar food eats, $2 Rainiers and other drink specials. Relaxed vibe, a little on the divey side but I prefer it that way and good amount of space to chat with your peeps. After a few rounds in, we decided to check out their HH food and it was all pretty good. I really liked the Handcut Yukon Gold Fries a lot, that aioli dipping is pretty darn good. Also, we ordered the 1lb of wings (it's like 8 wings), it looks spicy but it isn't at all which was fine. Pretty good wings, I don't think it's deep fried, but rather oven baked, sauce on the wings were on the sweet and a little smoky side but pretty good. Lastly, we ordered the Mac N' Mornay, tasty Beecher's cheese and nicely crisp baked bread crumb topping, comes out piping hot from the oven. Food and drinks were good, there are some vegan/vegetarian options that you can order off the menu and my friend was pleased with her beet burger. I like that the food isn't super hipster-fied, it's still bar food like as one expects when they go to a bar. Staff and service was fine, you may have to flag them down, but they will come as they seem to share the duties of working the entire room together. Prices were pretty good, about what I expected for HH prices. Besides HH, they have brunch, lunch, dinner menus too. Gender neutral bathrooms so you may be doing your business next to a lady/dude..... enjoy! More HH's to come!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic bar in Capitol Hill! I recently participated in a bar crawl that had this bar included and I was happy not only about the price of the drinks, but the food was great and the service was awesome. Can't wait to visit again when I come back to Seattle! 10/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
This is a great spot for food drinks and karaoke. Very good customer service. Very good food. I recommend stopping here when you are in Capitol Hill!!
google avatar

Yi H.

Yelp
I have been here a few times pre-covid and during covid for brunch. I came here to fix my craving for breakfast burrito and found out their breakfast potato is great as well! As I always came for late brunch, the place is generally very empty. During covid they also make sure each table is far from each other and everyone wears mask.

Virginia B.

Yelp
I have to give St. John's a 5 star because it represents community spirited Seattle and the heart of Capital Hill. Great bar, damn fine cocktails, and good solid food. They are supporters of the arts and filmmakers; and it's the venue that celebrates the beginning of Seattle International Film Festival every year. You can't help but love that dedication to Seattle, it's people. And it serves up comfort. It's a feel good place, with whimsical decor to boot.
google avatar

Chavisa W.

Yelp
I came here for dinner the other night and my veggie burger was burned to a crisp. I sent it back, and did not feel like trying again after getting a totally black burger and mouth full of charcoal. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, as always with the staff here. The issue seems to be in the kitchen. This is the second time I've had a very bad dinner here, BUT, the happy hour is always exceptionally good. I love this place for happy hour, or also had very good service , but I am wary of trying dinner here again.
google avatar

R F.

Yelp
Coldest beer on Capitol Hill. Most affordable, too. My favorite part is their rotating selection of homemade soup. Awesome service and neat dinosaur decor/ art everywhere. My favorite place around.
google avatar

Anna R.

Yelp
Really cool bar. Exactly what I think of when I think of Seattle. Dark and quirky. We didn't eat so can't speak to the food. We had drinks in the patio garden. There was a plastic dinosaur display. So weird but that's what made it unique. The inside bars were really cool. Dinosaur mural on one wall. Would recommend checking out.
google avatar

Neeketa S.

Yelp
**Vegetarian Friendly** So many great entrees! The star of the Linda Ronstadt dish was the jalapeno cornbread! I recommend just ordering the cornbread as a side if you're not interested in this dish. The Brioche French Toast was not as "French toast-y" as I was expecting, but was still good. Service was incredibly slow for how empty the restaurant was. Extra points for indicating vegetarian options on their menu!
google avatar

Doris W.

Yelp
Stopped in here yesterday afternoon for happy hour, Wednesday around 5:30 pm. My friend decided to have her birthday meet up here because they have a back outdoor patio, and yesterday the weather was perfect for some patio lounging happy hour food and drinks! I ordered: - HH Sangria $3 - HH Fries - HH Wings The sangria was cheap, so I loved the price, but it's not the best sangria I have ever had. The fries came with a big dollop of aoli on top and that was delicious. The wings were ok, I wanted ranch or bleu cheese to go with it, but they didn't have any. The happy hour drinks are cheap, the happy hour food prices were average. The patio has an interesting plastic dinosaur collection! Fun vibes out there!
google avatar

Tara H.

Yelp
Was slightly disappointed in this place. I ordered their house sangria, that was pretty good. My boyfriend ordered a special shot with a schooner beer. He was disappointed that the beer was not actually served in a schooner glass, but a glass that was less than a pint. To have something on your menu display "shot with schooner" is misleading, if a schooner beer isn't actually served. As for the food, we just ordered the Pesto Grilled Cheese with french fries. The french fries were good, slightly crisp, really nothing to complain about. I did enjoy the garlic aioli that accompanied the french fries. The grilled cheese was just okay. The bread was burnt and slightly hard. The overall flavor wasn't bad. I think it probably would have tasted better if the bread wasn't as burnt and hard. Overall, not sure if I would come here again with all the other Capitol Hill food options.

Shipra B.

Yelp
We had just popped in for a quick brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely meal we had in the well heated patio. Very quirky vibe in the interiors as well. Nice cocktails and the chicken skewers were delicious. There was barely anyone else (just one table of customers in the patio) so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. They're strictly following all covid precautions.

Megan C.

Yelp
I hosted a graduation party for my husband with 30+ of our dearest friends and Saint John's couldn't have been more accommodating! It was the perfect space for our mix & mingle style event! The drinks were great, the food was great and the staff was just wonderful! I plan events for a living and it was a breath of fresh air from booking to receiving the bill! Thank you, Saint John's!
google avatar

Bridgette T.

Yelp
Can I just say WOW. I came in to St John's for my birthday and was greeted by the most wonderful server. The meal was amazing, not to mention the out of this world drinks. Since it was my birthday the server sat me in a very cozy spot and made sure everything was amazing for my special day. I ordered the Shame Spiral breakfast plate which I highly recommend, and a Carlisle Coffee I'm so glad places like this are open, and how brave that they put themselves basically on the front line just so I can have a wonderful experience. Thank you St. John's.
google avatar

Caleb H.

Yelp
Hits: *Personal service *Nice athmosphere for a casual drink *Prompt service Misses: Bugs/gnats over the table we were seated at Personally, the drink I ordered was less than strllar, but that should be no reflection on the venue. I'd go back again and revise the raiting if there was something there that changed my experience from this time
google avatar

Jason T.

Yelp
They rock one hell of a burger! I ordered takeout and my order was ready at the estimated time. I got the the Saint John's Burger and the beer and booze kit ---- Tecate Tallboy & Lunazul Reposado Tequila ----- Both superb! Can't wait until these guys reopen for dine-in.
google avatar

Lia P.

Yelp
This staff was beyond amazing and the food was delicious! You could not ask for a better place to eat. Our server went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok and the way we wanted it. The steak frites was scrumptious, and the patio is flipping cool.
google avatar

Gregory C.

Yelp
Was walking around the neighborhood waiting for a dinner reservation close by. Ended up coming here for a drink, I got a blueberry margarita which was delicious and frankly if we didn't have a reservation would've stayed. On my list of places to return to when I am back!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Amazing staff, great atmosphere! The drink menu is really fun/creative and the food always hits the spot. I'd go back again and again. Also they have gluten free bread for any of their sandwiches which is a huge plus for me.
google avatar

Steph J.

Yelp
Food: sneaky good Service: good (Brunch, haven't done dinner) OK, this may be the best hidden brunch spot for me in Cap Hill. Everyone goes to Lindas but you can always find a seat here and the food is very legit. Pro tip is to sit in the dinosaur garden in the back patio. But don't actually, because that's our spot!! Group favorites include the Nabisco Scramble (not too much food, but lots of delish flavors), Shakshuka (the sauce has great flavor), and the Linda Rondstandt.
google avatar

Clover L.

Yelp
Heya there, you're still lookin reeeaal good all these years later. I mean, what do you DO to keep it so fresh? Well yes, those specials are enticing. And that brunch... damn that's hot. And good. I like your options baby, they're consistently delicious and always keep me interested. Hey...Is that Monte Cristo for moi?!? You Do love me! Dinner? Don't mind if I do! Oh that burger still never disappoints and WHA? You got a dip? I'll take that dip with those crispy Yukon golds...you betcha. Cocktails and mocktails and all that jazz are always divine. But your dates....oh baby....your dates. I covet those dates like no other. Summer patio dreams come true here and I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Marie B. J.

Yelp
I like this place tremendously! It's located on Capital Hill not to far from I-5. The food is alright (limited vegan dishes - but at least they have one or two options). Drinks are great, service is fantastic and my two favorite things in Seattle are here 1) there's a parking lot close by and 2) Wednesday night is free trivia night with "Geeks who Drink". I just had six friends come out and it was great to get together for drinks, trivia and laughs!

Courtney G.

Yelp
Literally the BEST bar food I've ever had ‍ The service was incredible and the energy was great on a Saturday night with very little wait time. Highly recommend stopping here for food & drinks!! Our server Michael was very sweet and energetic

Saturday errands in the city lands us at Saint John's Bar & Eatery. Another cozy breakfast/lunch spot with a chill ambience indicative of a neighborhood bar. We sat in the corner window spot and immediately realized this eatery has a full bar and back patio seating area. The walls are covered in eclectic art and posters and the string lights just adds a unique character. Our server was efficient and provided good recommendations on popular entrees and what to expect with serving sizes. I ended up ordering the braised short rib and vegetable hash and a manhattan cocktail. His recommendations were spot on as the braised rib hash perfectly hit the spot. Tender pieces of beef, seasoned vegetables served with eggs over easy. The bartender knew how to mix drinks as the manhattan quickly arrived and was well made. Take note of the weekend boozy brunch sat &a sun 10am-3pm. Another spot to add to the ever growing list of "definitely returning with guests in tow."

Yelp
Came for brunch with a friend this past Sunday. There was no wait, and the service was very attentive and kind. I like the atmosphere, very relaxed, and not crowded on a weekend. The menu is interesting and has unusual takes on common brunch foods. I ordered the Linda Ronstadt, which is eggs and black beans over a hunk of cornbread. It was really tasteless, and I had to drench it in hot sauce, salt and pepper for it to be palatable. The mimosa, while a good size for the price, was totally watered down by all the ice. Coffee was fine, and free refills was nice. I think I'd come back here for drinks or happy hour, but the brunch food was disappointing.

Yelp
Came here for brunch today and the Bloody Mary was good, but it took more than half an hour for my food to arrive, and when it did, my steak was cold. My guess is that our food were just sitting there for a while and our server forgot to bring us our food. I overheard the other table that they forgot to bring a certain side dish and that they never brought her cold brew. That sparked a conversation between their table and ours. Apparently their food arrived cold as well, except for one person. My whole table's food was cold but I was the only one who spoke up about my cold steak. Steak should never be served cold. Period. Overall, drinks are good, but the food and service is lackluster and disappointing.
