The Gothic Cathedral of St. Mark in Korcula, Croatia, was downgraded to the status of church in 1828 when the bishop moved to Dubrovnik. The portal with St. Mark flanked by a pair of lions was created by Bonino da Milano in 1412.

It's a nice piece of history and with only 5€ per ticket, St. Mark's Church Clocktower is a nice around 25 minutes trip to the top of the island. It's very narrow so don't go if you have trouble in narrow spaces or afraid of heights. Children have to be at least 10 years old to enter and if you check the time before entering, you can time it so that you can be on the clock tower whilst it's ringing.

Gorgeous cathedral! Small but stunning! I didn’t pay to go inside, but i walked by during mass and was able to see it for free.

The Cathedral of St. Mark, Korčula’s Gothic-Renaissance cathedral, hemmed in by a web of streets in the center of Korčula’s old town is stunning. Completed in the 15th century at the hands of local artisans with the help of Italian masters. The view from the top of the bell tower is beyond stunning.

This is decent looking church at the center of old town, and it costs 3 euros to enter church and 5 to go up tower

Found folks at Keen Korcula Island to be much more friendly, and laid back with island grace and friendliness. Korcula is a relaxing walled island steeped in history and rich culture. There are many coves and small beaches which dot this south coastline of Charming Croatia. We enjoyed the many narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnicent palaces of this charming medieval town in captivating Korcula. We also enjoyed a scenic coastal cruise as well. The Museums are closed on public holidays. We visited the ruins of the house where according to local legend Marco Polo was born.

Certainly the most impressive church in town. Worth a visit when in Korcula, especially the tower which has great views of the town and the surrounding bay. The tickets for the tower and the church are separate.

There are actually two entrances, one for the church, and one for the bell tower. There's even two different tickets for each of those.(around 20 kuna each). The cathedral looks nice, but I can't say it's something you've probably haven't seen before. But if you cherish art really well, you could enjoy it. But the bell tower view is amazing. Just be warned, it's really steep and narrow inside. If you're afraid of heights or if you have a bigger constitution, it could be challenge to go upstairs.
