I wasn’t sure what was more exciting about stepping into this haven of wine — being able to score a bar stool in a sea of locals or finding it at all.
Tucked away in the I’On neighborhood, it feels like you walked into Charleston replete with beautiful buildings, moss trees, and flickering gas lanterns.
At about 6, this place was loaded with locals — and two dogs. It is a tight squeeze but one of the most comfortable wine shops I have ever been to. The wine selections are great, but expect to pay a premium. My Sancerre was $22. Yowza.
But, the clientele here clearly can afford it.
