This wine bar has such an amazing vibe. Sleek, smart decor, great music and lighting. I so appreciate a gathering spot with great acoustics. Easy to hold a conversation without sound echoing off walls, floor and ceiling. Extensive wine list and I love the local wine assortment. Jane was gracious and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to many more future visits.

We got 2 flights and enjoyed every sip. Atmosphere was dark lit, the wine was glowing. It was a quiet Sunday, which made it more intimate for us to taste. For newly found lovers of wine, we will definitely return to try more. Thank you!

Amazing wines and superb ambiance. Tony, Jane and Mark really take the hospitality to volume 10. Stellar wine parings, great service, awesome location and killer vibes. Finally, Scotts Valley has a spot to enjoy some rare, highly sought after vino! We will be back for sure!!!

Fantastic comfy place to kick back and enjoy wine with your partner or a group of friends. Nice that they offer European wines not just CA. Popup with Pesce Vegie food truck was awesome

Yelp
stopped by for happy hour, was seated by a pleasantly talkative host (Paul C. according to my receipt) that sprinkled some lore every time he passed by my seat. interior is a gorgeous deep blue. happy hour sparkling wine was very good as were the $1.5 miyagi oysters. charcuterie board was just fine imo, would try the truffle fries next time.

Yelp
Came here for a winemaker event and it was such a blast. Nice ambience, great wines and friendly service from Jane. Great selections of wines from the old world to new world and local Santa Cruz wines. Will be back for some wine, small bites and cheese!

Yelp
Warm cozy ambiance and amazing wines and knowledgeable service! Great place to explore a flight or enjoy a glass (or two). It's a must go place. Don't miss out!

Yelp
Wonderful new wine bar and cellar in Scott's valley. Walked by it the other day on the way to boba and knew I needed to check it out. Gorgeous interior, I'm here for the comfy leather couches! Tucked away and unassuming on the outside, it's definitely worth a venture inside. Tried the euro connection wine flight and throughly enjoyed it. The complimentary nuts were a nice touch too! The only thing I think would have put it over the top would have been some tasting notes on the menu or at serving. Can't wait to stop in in the future.

Yelp
Finally got to Saison and wish we'd done it sooner. Hands down the coolest and classiest place in Scotts Valley. As wine bars go they had an excellent selection across palate and price spectrums. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. You've gotta go when they have the Cousins Main Lobster food truck there. What a combination!!! Check it out!

Yelp
What a great addition to Scotts Valley! Tastefully decorated and great service. The cheese plate was delicious as well. The owner is connected witth Saison in SF so this place is legit.

Yelp
I am so happy that I found Saison Cellar & Wine Bar in Scotts Valley. There is nothing else like it in the area. The ambience is so welcoming-comfortable seating in a tastefully decorated room, and a more traditional table seating area in the adjacent room. I have enjoyed relaxing wine tastings with friends and family, guided by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as scheduled visits from local eateries and food trucks to eat while enjoying their extensive wine menu. I really like that they not only serve their own Saison brand wines, but also other local and international wines- and even a selection of beer for friends who prefer a lager or an ale. Saison Wine Bar is a great place to have fun and conversation, and learn more about wine at the same time.

Yelp
Agree with the other rating. It's a great idea and I love having this in Scotts Valley, but it fell short of the elevated experience I was hoping for due to a couple of things. The biggest is the lack of tasting notes or descriptions by our server. We had our wine poured and then he just walked away. One of them tasted off to us but he never came back and was always busy with others so we never got the chance to discuss it. Another thing is the music was very loud. Not sure why this is such a common thing in places now but it makes it hard to talk to the people you came with. The last thing sounds trivial, but have some cheese knives in the place! We got the charcuterie and the cheese board and it comes with a big hunk of cheese and no knife. We had to use a butter knife to cut it up. Again, not a huge deal but not really an "elevated" experience. Hope they work out the kinks and I would try it again.
