Dinner at Saizon was incredible! Roxane took such great care of us — fast, attentive, and always with a smile. We shared 6–7 different plates, each one packed with flavor, and every bite was a hit. The star of the night for me was the frozen espresso martini — absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Can’t wait to come back!

Saturday brunch with my mom and my son. Weeks ago made reservations in advance to show my family for their first time at Saizon. The parking situation is the same outside lucky if you can find any available parking. Once arrived we were seated right to our booth. The decor inside is very modern chic style. The bar area, the outside dining area, the inside dining area. Mikaela was our server for today at brunch the food came out in time not wait to long at all. The noise level was average for morning time. The food is absolutely exquisite with every bite.

This is one of the best restaurants in Fresno. The prices are higher than your regular restaurant but it’s not super expensive. Reservations are encouraged, but today on my birthday I was able to ask at 4 pm if they could take my party of 3 and they were able to accommodate us at 5 when dinner started. The guy who helped me which I think was the manager came to our table to make sure everything was okay. The waiters are very nice, food came out quick and it was amazing. I totally recommend Saizon.

Google
We had a delightful business dinner at Saizon. Saizon is a high-end restaurant offering contemporary American cuisine with global influences, presented from a distinctly Californian perspective. They blend traditional techniques with innovative flavor combinations and unique presentations. The atmosphere is upbeat and lively, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Our server, Kelly, provided excellent service; she was attentive without being intrusive. The food was superb and fresh. We began with a seafood tower and guacamole. The group ordered chicken, pork chops, and fish, all of which received high praise. We highly recommend Saizon restaurant in Fresno and look forward to returning.

First time here, visiting from out of state. My friend kept telling me about this great place, and it was all that and more. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. The mixologist made me a wonderful lavender whiskey drink as requested. The appetizer menu items were amazing. I highly recommend this place

Mr C's 💯 If you're looking for a taste of small-town charm and a truly authentic dining experience, you won't be disappointed! It's not just about the food; it's about the atmosphere, and the personal touch. I have been here a few times and waiting to post until I tried a little bit of everything I am confident and proud to give this a Mr C's 💯

First off, I want to acknowledge Adriana(Ariana)for the incredible service, she was very attentive to our table and made us feel comfortable being that it was our first experience! Second, the atmosphere was amazing, it was a great vibe and very lively which we enjoyed. We sat outside and the weather was perfect to enjoy dinner. Lastly, the food. I would definitely return to enjoy shareables with drinks from the bar. As for the dinner plates, they were good, however didn’t stand out like their shareables(hummus and pork bao). Add some spice 🌶️ and maybe I’ll try a dinner plate next time.

I've been here a couple of times anytime I fly down to visit, and every time we come the service is very friendly and attentive. The food is also always very delicious and well presented. My favourites from my last visit was the White Bean Hummus and the Beet Salad - but everything was good!

Yelp
Location: Saizon Date: August 17, 2025 Service: Sunday Brunch Earlier today, my son and I met some friends and for brunch today. I made the appointment online via toast on website in advanced like three days ago. My son was super excited to go to brunch today and have a nice time and go eat. Have a good food. Talk a little bit. Chill a little bit good vibes all day everywhere. Once we arrive, we got outside to our table immediately and the patio area. Kaleigh our server was on point with customer service. They have a mist machines going in the fan so it's cool refreshing relaxing. We got our food service right away. Everything was delicious. Priced reasonably everyone greeted us. Everything was clean and we appreciate it. My friends, son and I had an outstanding dining experience today at Saizon. Check out the pictures,

Yelp
Still one of my favorite spots in the area for weekend brunch! The standout this time was the poblano and mushroom omelette--super flavorful and well balanced. It came with a side salad dressed in champagne vinaigrette, which was a pleasant surprise. The tiger ceviche was solid, and the churro French toast was just as delicious as I remembered. Our server was friendly and checked in regularly, which we appreciated. My only note is I wish they offered more coffee options with their brunch menu. They only had drip coffee, and it was very acidic--possibly just that day, but it seems like they lean more toward alcoholic brunch drinks.

Yelp
Took the family to Saizon and wow this place is popping! Great bar scene, nice outdoor seating with cooling fans and misters, and large comfortable tables for any size party! Service was on time, attentive, but not overbearing. We opted for the tapas style dining to be able to try some of the amazing varieties of food. There weee 5 of us so we had 5-6 dishes to share.. the favorite was crispy blue fin Nigiri. Great spot, fair pricing, we will be back!

Yelp
Staff is very welcoming. I love when I'm quickly acknowledged and greeted A+. Great customer service. I love their drinks even had a few mocktail's. The food is OK. I only come for birthday brunches. It's a trendy spot to meet up. PARKING REALLY REALLY SUCKS!!!

Yelp
This is my second time at Saizon, and every time I've been so impressed. Personally, I love their winter menu much more than the summer one, but the food always hits. The waiter was really nice and gave excellent service. Every time I've come here, the staff has been super friendly and welcoming. For drinks, I had the lychee martini and the old fashioned. Between the two, the lychee martini was definitely my favorite. The flavors worked really well together. The old fashioned was a bit too sweet for my taste, especially for that type of drink. The truffle mac and cheese is seriously to die for. One of the best I've ever had. It is a small appetizer though, so I recommend ordering two if you are in a bigger group. You won't regret it. The Atlantic salmon was really good. I loved the orange sauce and the summer veggie mix. The sides complemented the dish nicely. The flatiron steak with mushroom risotto was absolutely chef's kiss. I loved how all the flavors came together. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, just how I like it. Not pictured, but I also tried the tiger shrimp ceviche and the guacamole. The ceviche was fantastic. I really enjoyed the flavors. The guacamole was just okay. I will definitely be coming back. This is a must-visit spot anytime you are in Fresno.

Yelp
Recently moved the area already been twice to this wonderful establishment once for dinner and once for brunch on my birthday, which is very special I felt like the brunch was actually better than the dinner that I had, but I will be back to try both. I love the cocktails each time they're well crafted and delicious. My favorite was the Nigiri. I just wanna go back to have that it was delicious.

Yelp
I just love coming here for drinks and food. This was my niece and mom's first time. We ordered dirty martinis, guacamole and queso dips and chips, and we all decided on the lemon pasta with shrimp. Everything was delicious. Our server was very friendly and very attentive.

Yelp
I stopped by for breakfast but I do think their dinner menu is still my favorite. Staff is really friendly, wait wasn't too long (no reservation), and the ambiance is very elevated. The plates that we had on our table were dirty-- there was old food residue on them-- but an employee came by and replaced them as soon as we mentioned it. There was also tajin in my boyfriend's water glass so I'm assuming it didn't get washed that well either (he didn't care though). Anyway, for the food-- here's what we got: Croque Madame (4/5): Besides the presentation, the bread was actually my favorite part. It was SO good and because of its thickness, it made this meal pretty filling. The inside has ham and cheese, and it's topped with an egg and sauce. There isn't a whole lot on the inside, but everything was still very yummy! I enjoyed this, but for $17 I probably wouldn't get it again. Birria Benny (3?/5) ($21): The egg was good, but not a whole lot of sauce or meat. Came with a side salad. This one wasn't very filling. I really love Saizon and I'll stick with their dinner menu for next time!

Yelp
This place is so overwhelming, I don't understand how they're not at capacity every night. It is similar to a night club, a horrible place to have a nice dinner. Everyone is standing around, drunk, screaming over each other. They even had a security guard at the front door.... The food was mediocre, which for the price, I'd expect more. The Lychee Martini was good, came out slightly warm, but flavor was great. Baos were soooo yummy, and the blue fin was definitely something we'd come back for. But definitely full of either single men and women 50+ or 21 year olds all fighting to see who is the loudest. Was even approached for a cigarette.......... Definitely doesn't give the classy dinner spot that they are trying to embody.

Yelp
I finally made it to Saizon and yes, the hype is real! My wife and I popped in here for a daytime date with no reservations, but just our fingers crossed for a seat at the bar. Lucky for us two spots opened up within a few minutes of us arriving. We shared the Croque Madam off their brunch menu and ordered a couple craft cocktails. I ordered the "Pool Boy" a Gin based cocktail with watermelon liquor, basil, and cucumber. The Pool Boy was a great summer cocktail, light and refreshing, but I switched to rosé afterwards. I'm not a huge gin fan and only like it in small doses. The rosé was great and from a local winery! The Croque Madam was delicious! This is basically a giant toasted sandwich loaded with ham, cheese, and topped with a fried egg and light sauce. Break that yolk to really set it off! I really loved the vibe here. It was very welcoming and lively. Shout out to my awesome bartender Alexa and her team for making sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed.

Yelp
Wow!! This was the BEST restaurant we went to in Clovis area! It was AMAZING. Everything we tried was so delicious. We had a reservation and mostly did appetizers and drinks. I can't say enough about how good the apps were. The chicken taquitos and cooked carrots made me want to order another and also one of everything!!! The oysters were a fan favorite as well! Service was amazing with still and sparkiling water. Amazing vibes and the patio is stunning.

Yelp
Husband person treated me to an upscale dinner for my birthday. Had reservations and were immediately seated upon arrival. Comfortable booth. Place is noisy I'm guessing because of the high industrial ceiling and the fact they are packed with customers because the food is kick ass. Mikaela was our server. EXCELLENT service. Thanks you so much. Cocktails good. Super fresh oyster app with fantastic toppings. Ribeye cooked to perfection. Mushroom risotto yum. My husbands halibut was the star. Served us a lil free scoop of strawberry sorbet because it was my birthday. I highly recommend

Yelp
A Perfect Spot for a Celebration I've been waiting for the right moment to try Saizon, and graduating college was the perfect excuse. The restaurant is located in The Row, a beautifully maintained shopping center with high-end stores and plenty of parking. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The host welcomed us warmly and invited us to relax in a stylish waiting area while our table was prepared. We sat on the patio on a gorgeous day, with a light breeze, warm sun, and plenty of greenery surrounding us. The only downside to the patio was a few flies buzzing around, but the staff offers fly-deterring spinning wind fans to guests. Shortly after sitting down, a server offered us still or sparkling water and made us feel right at home. Appetizers: We started with the truffle mac, Tuscan white bean hummus, and guacamole. The truffle mac was an absolute standout. The noodles were perfectly cooked in a creamy, cheesy sauce and topped with crispy roasted breadcrumbs for texture. I would order it again without hesitation. It was my very first time trying hummus and I'm glad it was here. Creamy, flavorful, and beautifully plated, it exceeded expectations. The guacamole, while fresh and well-presented, lacked depth of flavor for my taste. Coming from Los Angeles, I've had bold, vibrant guacamole, and this one felt a little flat in comparison. If you order it, ask for a wedge of lemon and a bit of salt to enhance the flavor. Drinks: I started with a mango margarita, which didn't quite hit the mark for me. Fortunately, our server Mikaela recommended a Barry White, and it was fantastic. Sweet, fruity, balanced, and fun, it was exactly what I was hoping for in a cocktail. Entrées: I ordered the Heritage Pork Chop, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Juicy, thick, and full of flavor, paired beautifully with bacon jam, a Brussels sprout crust, and brown butter apple sauce. A classic pork and apples pairing taken to the next level. My friend ordered the Wagyu skirt steak, which was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Service: A huge thank you to our server, Mikaela. Her knowledge of the menu and tequila selection elevated the entire experience. She was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. She made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Saizon delivered and continues to deliver an amazing experience that lives up to the hype. Perfect for a special occasion or an elevated night out. I'll absolutely be back.

Yelp
Ok this place is as good as they say! We came here for our anniversary and sat in the patio. The service was great! Everyone was so nice and checked up on us regularly. We were actually really surprised at the portion size. We ordered the shareable plates and assume they were small tapas plates but they were huge and we were so full! I get the hype now.

Yelp
We had an amazing meal here for Mother's Day this weekend. I made a reservation the morning of, and there were still a few slots left for the popular times. And there were so many things that sounded good, we had a hard time choosing! We started with the beet carpaccio. When this dish came out, we were like, how do we eat this? There is a thin layer of beets on the bottom with toppings, and it is perfectly portioned for 4 people. Protip: serve it out the SE Asian way -- with a fork and spoon. :) We got the taquitos papas (comes with an egg), and the shakshuka. My partner's mom got the birria benny (which she said was very good). Everything was fantastic. The shakshuka was tarter than I expected, but the yogurt/cream sauce balanced it nicely. The eggs were over easy, and the sourdough bread that came with this was plentiful and delicious. I hate when places serve saucy dishes without enough bread, so the hearty portion of bread was so appreciated. And then, we had to close with the churro french toast. OMG. It's amazing. Melt in your mouth, breaded with panko..... We got a bao to go (the one with scrambled eggs), and that one was good too. Yes, this places is a bit pricier than your usual diner or fastfood, but it's good, and, coming from LA, still reasonable. Mikaela was our server, and she was great. Made sure we had fresh plates after each course, and was friendly and accommodating throughout. We also met some friendly fellow diners who helped us take a group picture at the end of our meal! This place is bustling. It can be a bit loud, but not so much that you can't hear your dinner companions. The parking lot is kind of nuts, so that's something to be aware of, but unlike LA, it does seem like there was parking available if you want it.

Yelp
I'm not a breakfast sweets person but saizon has the best pancakes I've ever tasted in my whole life.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times. Love the food! Everything is seasoned to perfection. Dessert was so delicious.. Service is great. The drinks are ok, aesthetically pleasing for pictures. It's pretty lively so if you're looking for a more quiet and intimate setting it might not be ideal for that.. I do enjoy the hustle and bustle of the restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, gives you an excuse to get a little dressed up and look cute for a night out! Looking forward to trying out their brunch soon...

Yelp
Saizon offers great food, service, and ambiance. I love the indoor aesthetics of the space - it's perfect for a date night or special occasion. Bonus points for being able to make a reservation ahead of time. The restaurant offers indoor seating as well as an outdoor covered patio. The menu does change so it's fun to try new dishes that they offer. Everything is beautifully plated and the different flavors of each dish complement each other very well. For appetizers, we ordered ceviche, grilled oysters, baos, lemongrass chili crab, and the Chuleta. The baos were a bit plain and the sauce of the lemongrass chili crab pasta overpowered the crab, but the Chuleta was AMAZINGGGGG and one of my favorite dishes. I normally don't order lamb because the meat tastes too gamey but this was delicious. I hope this stays on the menu forever! If you have to choose just one appetizer, definitely go with the Chuleta. The waygu steak and ribeye were both perfectly cooked to order and so tender. There are a few different sides you can choose from if you order a plate. I went with the mushroom risotto and it was really good. If you're in the mood for a fancy drink, they have a selection of pretty (and strong) concoctions on the menu as well.

Yelp
This was a very welcome surprise. A hidden gem in the middle of the state. The fusion was an amazing twist on common dishes such as crab cakes or beet salad. A lot of great tasting food, great servers and staff, and good fun vibe. You will not be disappointed. I really liked the crab cakes and the lamb.

Yelp
Truly Fresno's best restaurant. The service here is unmatched. As a frequent flyer, I love how all of the employees are so welcoming and will pop over to say hi even if I'm not in their section! The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. Do not be afraid of patio seating regardless of the weather. They do a phenomenal job at keeping all of the outdoor seating very comfortable. The food here is unlike anything else you can get in Fresno. The raw bar options are always super fresh. Highly recommend the tiger ceviche, Dungeness crab legs and the crispy blue fin nigiri. The Caesar and beet salads are always the perfect lighter option. The chuleta is a crowd favorite (who doesn't love perfectly cooked lamb?). But truly, anything you order is bound to knock your socks off. Don't forget to book a reservation ahead of time!

Yelp
Our first experience here was for my birthday celebration. We were here on a Thursday night & they were packed so i'm sure weekends are even busier. The location was ideal for a more upscale dinner experience & they delivered just that. The inside was modern, chic, & classy with nice indoor & outdoor seating. We were a party of 7 & every single one of us gave our food a 10/10. The prices are fair for the quality of food, service, & location. We will definitely come back here for a family dinner to experience more of their menu!

Jen M.

Yelp
Staff was nice not very attentive. Food was presentation over quality. The chile verde omelet and tasted like it was made with powdered eggs. Same with the steak and eggs. The steak was not good. I couldn't even eat it. The stuff they put on top of it was gross. The side of potatoes reminded me of tacobell potatoes but even then I'd prefer tacobell. Only thing that was good was the French toast but with that said it's literally one slice of bread! Save your money and go to Heirloom or Yardhouse instead.
google avatar

Dana L.

Yelp
Came here during the work week to grab some dinner, service was great! He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He also shared with me that the owners own my go to fav Fresno restaurant-Heirloom! Go figure! For an app I got the recommended tiger ceviche, which was really good! For dinner I got the crispy bluefin nigiri-also recommended by the waiter. It was good, I really like the sauces it came with! The restaurant has great vibes, super sleek and modern. I'm sure I will be going back again soon when I'm in town again.

Yelp
Ty and Greg were so great! Everything was to die for! This is the second time I came here and I loved it! Staple for when I come to Fresno. Make sure you get their milk punch!

Yelp
This is a true hot spot for brunch time affairs. It's got the amazing ambiance, it's got great service and food to boot! I think to top it all off from all of this is that this restaurant is very inexpensive for the price, service, and location you're getting. I had went with a huge party and the service was amazing. They were super crowded on a Saturday brunch, but we had no mistaken orders. The food was exceptional as the bacon was crispy and chewy, the crab tacos were meaty and rich. The oysters! THE OYSTERS! They were so succulent and delicious, I had to order another round. Haha! If you're looking for a great brunch spot, this is one not to miss.

Yelp
It was our anniversary night. 20 years. Definitely had to pick a nice place with great food. The thing is, we've never been here before. But we both love Heirloom and Mayd, so Saizon has to be good too, right? There were other places in my mind but I thought Saizon would be the best place to try, sight unseen. First impressions upon entry, this is a very nice place. The main entry door looks more like a back door to me, but whatever. Our reservation was for 5:00, and it's 4:58. Thanks for checking in, "see you in a couple of minutes." It's like clockwork around here I guess. Except it wasn't that busy inside. Something my wife pointed out. "It sounds like there's a lot more people in here than there really is," she said. I was looking outside and I saw maybe 3-4 tables seated. Made me wonder how loud a full house would have been. Anyways, our servers were sweet. We had one and another in training. Answered our questions about the food and drinks. It made us confident in our choices. I got the pork chops and she got the flat iron steak. Probably not the best choice on my end. They were good, just not the easiest meat to cut through and eat. I don't know what the crunches on it were. It was more texture and filler for me than anything. Still a good meal. The steak on the other hand was very tender. My wife opted for the green beans. She absolutely loved them. We think it was the fig preserves in them. They were good, I agree. The one thing we could have done without was the orange stuff on the plate. Idk what it was. It had a bellpepper taste to me. She thought it tasted more like a sweet pepper. Either way it was very bland. It only enhanced the meal visually. It being our anniversary, we were treated to complementary champagne. I should have stopped with that, but I order a sparkling berry beer that was on tap. It was very good! All the other beers on tap were basic stuff that I don't drink. I'm more of an imperial stout person. All in all, great time. Great service. There was a fly that paid us a visit a couple times. The thing about flies, once they get in, they are notoriously difficult to get out. It happens. The only complaint from my wife was that I took her to "Clovis" where she will stand out as the only black person in the restaurant. She did see one other on the way out but the other woman had her head turned away. Otherwise, my wife said she would have done "the super secret black head node" to her. The Margherita was working on her at this point and the conversation was hilarious. She also said another girl kept staring at her, but eventually my wife was able to ignore everything else and enjoy the meal. It's all I asked when I made the reservations, and that's what we got.

Yelp
OK, round two. Went back today for brunch, had a wonderful experience. The food came out super fast and was wonderfully made. I love, love the view of the kitchen and y hat you can see everything that's going and being prepared for the customers. Everyone that works there is working super hard to provide great service. Everyone from the hostesses in the front, the cooks, the waiters, the people helping keep the tables clutter free. Everything we ordered and received today was spot on. The food was excellent, I would not have changed a single thing on anything that we ordered. The bathrooms were clean the floor was spotless. I really had a truly wonderful experience at Saizon.

Yelp
Dinner with a vibe. I love coming here because we share everything and quality is always top tier. Service is good. Servers are pretty relaxed and attentive. The covered patio is where it's at, especially a curved booth. The food is always hits and I love their drinks !
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
The food here never disappoints in flavor or quality, the service is always top tier and very polite, and the environment there always feels like a place at twice the price. Soft light and upscale decor, great for an upscale date night or a business meeting. The only downside side is that it appears they bring on certain dishes temporarily (I'm looking at you bone marrow and elk steak!) which is a bit disappointing.
google avatar

Tiana F.

Yelp
Visiting from San Diego and was recommended this gem in Fresno--so glad we went! The ambiance, vibes, and decor were all spot on. It was a packed Tuesday night, and although there were no online reservations available, the hostess, Kaitlin, went out of her way to secure a table for our group of five. Our server, Tiffany, had only been there two weeks but was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating--especially when it came to my mother's food allergies. We ordered a variety of dishes to share so we could try as much of the menu as possible, and honestly, there wasn't a single bite we didn't enjoy. Highlights included the shrimp risotto, chicken, carrots, beet carpaccio, tiger ceviche, cauliflower ceviche, bluefin nigiri, and all the raw fish dishes. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The Oaxacan Old Fashioned was smoky, well-balanced, and memorable. I just wish they had a location closer to me!

Yelp
I finally got to try Saizon after having it on my list-try list for a few years. I was in town for the Holidays and met up with some previous coworkers for a Christmas dinner. We had a reservation and our party was for 9 people. Yelp didn't disappoint me with the chicken Taquitos recommendation. They were amazing. We also got the queso dip as our appetizer and it was also really delicious with a nice hint of jalopeno but it wasn't spicy. We have great service from start to finish. They were also kind to let us split up the bill in pairs. Also friendly wait staff to take our group photos!
google avatar

Vy M.

Yelp
Came on a weekend night and luckily we had a reservation because they were packed! The two of us obviously got more than we could finish, but everything was delicious. Service was okay, but nothing memorable. Cocktails were yummy and steak was cooked well. I probably wouldn't order the seafood tower again, but it wasn't terrible for Fresno seafood. Would come back for a birthday dinner or date night!

Yelp
WOW!! We decided to have date night at Saizon and we left so impressed. Our waitress was extremely attentive and kind and the interior was dim and romantic, albeit a little loud. To start, we ordered the chicken taquitos which paired extremely well with the bright salsa verde. Absolutely delicious. The charcoal oysters can be skipped. We found them greasy and not as tasty as the rest of the meal. For our entrees, we ordered Mary's Brick Chicken whose mushroom risotto, roasted chicken, and seasonal greens were flavorful and harmonious. My only critique would have to be the texture. Although it was absolutely delightful, the softness of the chicken, risotto, greens and carrots left the dish almost "mushy." We also ordered the prime spiced sirloin, they couldn't go less than a medium due to the prior sous vide but it was tender and wonderfully cooked. However, we thought the 3x cooked potatoes was not a very good compliment to the steak as the flavors were not very cohesive. Overall, delicious food, beautiful interior and kind staff. The only thing was that it took super long to receive our entrees, our waitress said that the kitchen got behind a huge order so we were left waiting for quite a while. I also recommend making a reservation well in advance, it gets VERY busy so just try and help yourself out!

Yelp
It can be hard for a foodie, driving through the Central Valley. This place, though, really has it. Really inventive and terrific food. Really great cocktails (we hit a lot of foo-foo cocktail joints on our travels and these are some of the best we've experienced). And doesn't feel outrageously priced, either, considering the quality. There is a slightly weird "trendy" vibe here that I can't figure out what to attribute it to. Yes, the hostesses are sort of dolled up, and yes, the bathrooms are thumping music and lit like a nightclub, and yes, a lot of the patrons exude a kind of "need to be seen" vibe: lots of hair, and serious nightclub outfits, even at Sunday brunch. BUT still, the restaurant space itself feels warm and welcoming. The design is spectacular without feeling cold. It's busy and fun without feeling too noisy. And the service is stellar, from every corner. Today's meal started with the person who seated us (not the server, so she's not bucking for the tip necessarily) noticing right away that the table was wobbly, and said, "I'll be right back to fix it," and she was and she did. Then one of our plates was a bit slow to come out (we didn't care, we were sharing everything), but our server, without us ever asking, let us know that there'd be no charge for it because it came out late. These touches make me think someone behind the scenes is _really_ focused on service/training, and I appreciate it. I've been to many a nice (or trendy) joint where the service is hit or miss and it seems like no one ever trained the staff how to provide a quality experience, so it's just left up to their own personality or whatever (which can be great but can also stink). Or worse, everyone is too cool to provide warm and great service. Not here. And last, the food. Pretty cool and interesting dishes, creatively presented, and, again, never a miss, whether it's their savory stuff, the sweet brunch items, or even their raw seafood items (that last is a real surprise given this place's distance from the sea). So I'm all thumbs up, obviously. Anytime we drive north to south or south to north, we go out of our way to eat here, and we're always glad we did.

Yelp
Been here a couple of times and the experiences were great! Ambiance here is trendy and modern. Its dark lighting combined with its Mexican-inspired decal really is stunning. The choice of inside vs outside seating doesn't even matter because it is just as impressive. What I love about this place is that they have a rotating menu so the flavors and cuts they had in spring will be different from what you have in the fall! Most other times I've come here the service is exceptional. Everybody is extremely positive, willing to answer questions and explain dishes, and over-the-top attentive. The most recent time our server was indifferent. Very quick to get our orders out of the way and not attentive at all. However, this was just one experience out of many other extremely positive ones. Not Quite a Mule (5/5): One thing you for sure come here for is the mixed drinks. They have their own twists on traditional drinks that you are used to. It is just enough of a change to be both familiar and unique to create a new experience. I love moscow mules, and the not quite a mule had a perfect blend of lime, ginger, sweetness, and alcohol. Only downside is that it did not come in the copper mug! Highly reccomend. Oysters (4/5): Saizon's menu has a plethora of seafood options, and if you are not allergic I think that's definitely a sign that you should order one. We decided to get oysters as an appetizer and it is clear that seafood is their specialty because they tasted insanely fresh. You get a choice of east coast or west coast style, both were good but out server never clarified which one is which. Pork Belly Baos (5/5): EVERYBODY has to at least try this once. I never imagined a restuarant being masters of pork belly but somehow this place got it. The pork belly is so tender and flavorful, and it is complemented well with the soft bao and marinate. I only wish that it came in a plate with more than two, because I can wolf down at least 20. Prime Spiced Serloin (4/5): Sounded so good on paper: wet aged and slow roasted sirloin with their grilled onion chimichurri. I will say that the chimichurri was not as strong and flavorful as I was hoping, and the sirloin lacked my preference of seasoning. Comes with grilled onions and brussel sprouts that were pretty darn good. You get an additional side of your choice and I went with the potatoes and these had the perfect texture and flavor. Overall a great experience and will be one of my go-to choices for any special occasion!

Yelp
Updated review: Second time here and I decided to try something new! I'm not the biggest fan of Mac and cheese but their truffle Mac had the perfect combo of cheese and truffle. It's not over powering, you get the funky from the truffle and the cheese is perfect. That crust on the top is to die for! Really great starter dish if you are wondering what truffle tastes like! Cali cut was something we picked on a whim. Not really sure what we were expecting but this was an our favorite dish of the night. Sirloin was perfectly cooked, tender and savory. The flavor profiles of this dish is something I can't explain but the combination of this dish is something I can't forget! Although, this dish was served a little cold, no other complaints. The ribeyes. I think the picture can explain for itself. I wasn't sure if the fire was too high or it's served this charcoaled. But I think it's safe to say it's burnt although cooked perfectly medium rare, the taste was bitter from the burnt-ness. Once again, service is still great. Really attentive and kind. They were willing to redo the steak and comp it. It was nice for me since I'm not really the confrontational type or a Karen, it was nice that they were quick to make sure my time there was comfortable, super attentive!!!. Thank you saizon! I'll be back for brunch, but maybe moving forward I'll stay away from the steaks

Yelp
Saizon is the new hip spot in town. The ambiance is modern and chic. The fusion spot has Mexican inspired flavors with beautiful plating and presentation. This is great spot for special occasions. For the food: They have many options to keep everyone in the party satisfied - order family-style to try more options. The menu is seasonal and you'll find something new every time you go. Overall, I prefer Dirt Candy & Mercado vs Plate & Josper entrees. The dishes are too salty, so I'd request no added salt. Here are my preferred dishes: - Pork Belly Al Pastor Bao - Elotes - Chile "Rellenos" - Tiger Ceviche - Bluefin Tuna - Miso Marinated Black Cod Skip: - Ribeye - Charcoal Grilled Yellowtail

Yelp
I love this restaurant so much!!! I've been coming ever since it opened and the food and service is always amazing and above all the food is fresh, innovative, and delicious. I have come for breakfast and dinner service and each time I dine here everyone is always so nice and welcoming. The restaurant is very open and spacious, they have a big patio outside, a bar area, bar booths, and if you do the oyster bar for 4 you'll get an awesome experience watching them cook. I tell all my friends and coworkers to eat here at least once so they can see what I'm talking about. I can't wait until a new menu comes out with seasonal dishes. I'll keep updating and add pictures each time I go and try new things.

Yelp
Always a pleasure when I visit for brunch. Food is consistent and delicious. I have never tried dinner but this is THE Place for brunch on the weekends. We are from SF and travel a lot, so get pretty spoiled with amazing food options and Saizon is one of those places. Love the menu... it is a little pork heavy with meat options... would like to see chicken options and would love to see some rotating seasonal choices for more variety, while keeping current selections which I would not want to disappear. If someone is only going for a special occasion the menu is great. If you're a regular, it would help to have some specials/seasonal additions. That being said, I never order pancakes and I'm not a pancake person but their pancakes are sublime and I crave them!

Yelp
Came here for a little "Girls Night" and it was a great experience; the front reception staff are very sweet and enthusiastic. Our waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable and had great recommendations! The atmosphere is more upscale yet relaxed at the same time, and the decor I absolutely love; they nailed minimalist organic modern. And the food....delicious and unique! Such amazing twists on some staple dishes that just take it to another level. NOTE: Definitely make a reservation, even if it's just two or three people. Thankfully I made a reservation (about two weeks in advance), it was necessary! They do get full/busy and I imagine the wait is crazy, especially on Saturday nights.

Yelp
Modern vibe, beautifully decorated restaurant with a gorgeous patio with Mediterranean feel surrounded by olive trees. The service was impeccable. We had a large table for a birthday, and our waters were never empty, and the waiter and busers did a great job. The prime bao I ordered was very good. The fall harvest salad lacked flavor and for the price didn't have much of anything in it besides greens, and with the radicchio it was a little bitter for my taste. One of the others in the party ordered the brick chicken with risotto, and it looked very good. All in all, a nice place for drinks and appetizers, but I knocked off one star because there just isn't enough on their menu to keep me interested.

Yelp
This is not a restaurant. This is a place to go and be seen. The food is horrible. The only thing decent about this restaurant is at the service is impeccable. These aren't really chefs. They're expediters. The food is already premade except for a few steaks that they cook over a fire whoever ever thought about putting the top sirloin steak cook it with an SOUSVIDE method ridiculous they served me a piece of chicken that was so bad. They had the camouflage with condiments on top so you really couldn't see how bad it was. The presentation was disgusting. They want to be hip, but they didn't have no idea. They're not real chefs. Food is horrible. It's overpriced. I wouldn't waste my time and this is coming from a 30 year plus veteran, a fine dining trained by the finest chefs in Paris.

Yelp
I really liked my experience here, the service was quick and friendly, the food was fresh and flavorful, the space felt clean and inviting, I would definitely recommend this place.
