Personable staff, kind and funny. Quick service with top notch food and flavors. Inside is larger than expected, very good vibes mixture of modern and chill. Nice restrooms too. Great thing is that the menu is not so big, and every item I’m sure is delicious. Love that they have a raw bar and it’s fresh! Steak was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Roasted corn was sweet spicy and creamy. A little dark at night but it can be romantic

My husband and I enjoyed our date night out at saizon! We live very close to the restaurant and decided to finally dine here! Our son and his fiance have been several times and highly recommended it and we enjoy going to other restaurants affiliated with saizon. This was our first time here and have nothing but good things to say about our experience. When saizon first opened, the menu items didn't interest us but we found plenty of good options with the recent menu. We both started the evening with drinks, the pumpkin spiced latte martini for me(really good , not too sweet)and a IPA for my hubby. For dinner we ordered the prime spiced sirloin with a side of the mushroom risotto and Mary's brick chicken. Both of which were absolutely delicious! The meats and vegetables were cooked and seasoned perfectly! We couldn't pass up on dessert... we ordered the sticky coffee pudding... so good ! Everything was awesome including friendly, attentive service. I would describe the atmosphere as modern, casual, upscale. Definitely recommend reservations even for week nights... they are usually very busy and they are only open for dinner ( a few hours for brunch on Saturday &Sunday) . We will definitely go again ❤️

We always enjoy our visits to Saizon, and two people who make it extra special are Jordon, our server, and Jacob, the manager. Jordon is attentive, friendly, and always makes us feel like valued guests. He has a wonderful way of anticipating needs and making sure everything runs smoothly at the table. Jacob truly sets the tone for the entire restaurant. Even when the restaurant is packed, his smile and positive energy shine through. He always takes the time to personally check in, making us feel welcome and cared for. His professionalism and genuine attitude really stand out and make every visit memorable. Like any busy restaurant, small hiccups can happen here and there, but what sets Saizon apart is how the staff and management handle them. They always go above and beyond to make sure we leave happy and we always do. That kind of service and hospitality is rare and worth recognizing. Highly recommend Saizon not just for the food, but for the amazing people like Jordon and Jacob who make the experience top notch.

We came in without reservations and we got seated in less than 5 minutes and keep in mind, it was busy and yet we got fast service, our waitress this evening was Claire and she was fantastic, I never ran out of drinks and she showed up very frequently to make sure my table was taking care of. The food was also amazing, that risotto as a side it's delicious and my steak was cooked exactly as I asked for. Overall I recommend this place for any occasion.

Google
Dinner at Saizon was incredible! Roxane took such great care of us — fast, attentive, and always with a smile. We shared 6–7 different plates, each one packed with flavor, and every bite was a hit. The star of the night for me was the frozen espresso martini — absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Can’t wait to come back!

Saturday brunch with my mom and my son. Weeks ago made reservations in advance to show my family for their first time at Saizon. The parking situation is the same outside lucky if you can find any available parking. Once arrived we were seated right to our booth. The decor inside is very modern chic style. The bar area, the outside dining area, the inside dining area. Mikaela was our server for today at brunch the food came out in time not wait to long at all. The noise level was average for morning time. The food is absolutely exquisite with every bite.

Google
This is one of the best restaurants in Fresno. The prices are higher than your regular restaurant but it’s not super expensive. Reservations are encouraged, but today on my birthday I was able to ask at 4 pm if they could take my party of 3 and they were able to accommodate us at 5 when dinner started. The guy who helped me which I think was the manager came to our table to make sure everything was okay. The waiters are very nice, food came out quick and it was amazing. I totally recommend Saizon.

Google
First off, I want to acknowledge Adriana(Ariana)for the incredible service, she was very attentive to our table and made us feel comfortable being that it was our first experience! Second, the atmosphere was amazing, it was a great vibe and very lively which we enjoyed. We sat outside and the weather was perfect to enjoy dinner. Lastly, the food. I would definitely return to enjoy shareables with drinks from the bar. As for the dinner plates, they were good, however didn’t stand out like their shareables(hummus and pork bao). Add some spice 🌶️ and maybe I’ll try a dinner plate next time.

Yelp
Food, service and Ambiance was excellent. Would definitely come back for another special evening

Yelp
I had my first visit last night for a date with my wife. The staff was friendly. The patio, where we had reservations, was well shaded and comfortable. Mynwife and I split the hummas, blue fin nigiri, and the cali cut. It was the perfect amount for 2 and delicious! I would highly recommend Saizon.

Yelp
The market ceviche and the queso dip are my favorite appetizers! The staff is super nice! The atmosphere is amazing too!

Yelp
Finding a perfect dining spot can be tough, but this restaurant is genuinely an amazing dinner experience and a must-visit in Fresno. The service, in particular, was outstanding. Tyler, deserves tremendous praise, he was exceptionally knowledgeable about every single item on the menu, offering insightful recommendations and answering all our questions with ease. His attention to detail and genuine warmth elevated the entire meal--ask for Tyler if you want truly outstanding service. The food was nothing short of delicious. We enjoyed both the seafood and steak options, and both were executed flawlessly. The salmon was perfectly flaky and seasoned, and the wagyu skirt steak was cooked to absolute perfection, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth flavorful. And make sure you save room for dessert! The sticky toffee pudding was truly out of this world--a perfect, decadent finish to an already spectacular meal. To complement the meal, the cocktail menu was fantastic. Each drink was expertly crafted, creative, and delivered a wonderful balance of flavors, making them the perfect pairing for our dinner.

Yelp
The food here is consistently delicious! The service is exceptional, and I've always had a fantastic experience every time I visit. The dress code is quite relaxed either casual or business casual. If you're a sushi fan or love crispy rice, the crispy bluefin nigiri is an absolute must and my personal favorite every time. It's incredibly flavorful, and I always ask for extra sauce to enjoy with all my appetizers. The chuleta is also excellent and can stand on its own as a main dish. I like to dip my meat in that bluefin sauce.. it's so good!

Yelp
Another couple of meals at Saizon and found the food to be delicious, service impeccable and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Take advantage of these warm Fall nights and sit on the patio--it's a little quieter and more comfortable. Love that there is a seasonal menu for both food and cocktails. Would highly recommend the samosas, asparagus salad and blue crab tostada!

Yelp
I used to live in the area and really impressed to see how this has changed. Everything from the amazingly well trained staff to the food was amazing. Stunning to see how the Smittcamp family of restaurants continue to impress and distinguish themselves from their other places. Most restauranteurs would just build a chain. Had the offerings of blue fin tuna with a fried rice base which was fantastic and appreciate the textures. The guac was well balanced with textures and acidity and the lamb with the side of yogurt based sauce with chili oil was inventive and delicious. Lastly in addition to cocktails, never had a server coming round with both still and sparkling water to top off. What a gem of place

Yelp
Service was wonderful. Atmosphere very cool, chic. It was crowded for good reason. There were six of us and we shared many dishes. All were wonderful.

Yelp
Reservations are a must here. I booked ours a week in advance and I'm glad I did, because this place was packed. It's definitely one of Fresno's "it" spots. It's upscale while still laid-back, which is a rare balance to pull off. We were seated on the patio, and stepping out there felt like being transported. Think elevated, beachy, Tulum vibes with a touch of California chic. Inside, the atmosphere leans more toward an upscale lounge/bar scene. By the time the night gets going, you can feel the energy shift, dinner melts seamlessly into a lively bar crowd, and it's a vibe. The food? Amazing. Portions are generous, so my tip is to order your entrée first and then see if you actually need sides (we didn't & ended up our side dishes home). Drinks were on point, too. There was a small hiccup with some dishes, but the staff handled it beautifully. Our server, Celeste , looped in the manager right away, and they took such good care of us. Honestly, the level of customer service stood out, I even called ahead because we were running late, and they were so kind about holding our table without marking us as a no-show. The only downside: service on the patio is a bit slower compared to the more fast-paced dining inside, and our food took a little while to come out. But honestly, sitting outside felt relaxed and worth it. Overall, this was one of the best first experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Great food, great drinks, great vibe, and top-tier hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Location: Saizon Date: August 17, 2025 Service: Sunday Brunch Earlier today, my son and I met some friends and for brunch today. I made the appointment online via toast on website in advanced like three days ago. My son was super excited to go to brunch today and have a nice time and go eat. Have a good food. Talk a little bit. Chill a little bit good vibes all day everywhere. Once we arrive, we got outside to our table immediately and the patio area. Kaleigh our server was on point with customer service. They have a mist machines going in the fan so it's cool refreshing relaxing. We got our food service right away. Everything was delicious. Priced reasonably everyone greeted us. Everything was clean and we appreciate it. My friends, son and I had an outstanding dining experience today at Saizon. Check out the pictures,

Yelp
Still one of my favorite spots in the area for weekend brunch! The standout this time was the poblano and mushroom omelette--super flavorful and well balanced. It came with a side salad dressed in champagne vinaigrette, which was a pleasant surprise. The tiger ceviche was solid, and the churro French toast was just as delicious as I remembered. Our server was friendly and checked in regularly, which we appreciated. My only note is I wish they offered more coffee options with their brunch menu. They only had drip coffee, and it was very acidic--possibly just that day, but it seems like they lean more toward alcoholic brunch drinks.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Our server Jack was excellent. Recommended some tasty items. Sat outside in their porch. Perfect ambience. Very busy but still a quiet dinner. Will definitely be going back Very bold flavors

Yelp
Took the family to Saizon and wow this place is popping! Great bar scene, nice outdoor seating with cooling fans and misters, and large comfortable tables for any size party! Service was on time, attentive, but not overbearing. We opted for the tapas style dining to be able to try some of the amazing varieties of food. There weee 5 of us so we had 5-6 dishes to share.. the favorite was crispy blue fin Nigiri. Great spot, fair pricing, we will be back!

Yelp
So I've been to Saizo a few times since they opened and realized I never reviewed them! The first time I came here they had just opened up and my wife and I really enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant! The service is always top notch and it has great vibes from inside to the patio. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because after the initial visit the food quality seems to drop slightly, the food was still solid like their chaco taco dessert, but we things like the caviar and the entrees weren't as good as the initial visit. We hope to visit again soon though!

Yelp
A new updated review of my favorite restaurant. We were celebrating my parent's 40th wedding anniversary and my daughter and her boyfriend's 6 year anniversary. We ordered a bottle of wine and cocktails and we also received glasses of champagne to celebrate. The food was amazing as always and this time around we did try some new items from the menu. When I tell you the service is top notch I'm not lying. And to top it all off our server was pregnant still busting her butt to give the best service and time. If you haven't been here yet what are you waiting for?? Go now! I do recommend making reservations though especially if you're going with a group of people. If you have 4 people I would suggest the oyster bar to experience the kitchen or if you could snag the table by the wine racks it's really nice too.

Yelp
This is my second time at Saizon, and every time I've been so impressed. Personally, I love their winter menu much more than the summer one, but the food always hits. The waiter was really nice and gave excellent service. Every time I've come here, the staff has been super friendly and welcoming. For drinks, I had the lychee martini and the old fashioned. Between the two, the lychee martini was definitely my favorite. The flavors worked really well together. The old fashioned was a bit too sweet for my taste, especially for that type of drink. The truffle mac and cheese is seriously to die for. One of the best I've ever had. It is a small appetizer though, so I recommend ordering two if you are in a bigger group. You won't regret it. The Atlantic salmon was really good. I loved the orange sauce and the summer veggie mix. The sides complemented the dish nicely. The flatiron steak with mushroom risotto was absolutely chef's kiss. I loved how all the flavors came together. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, just how I like it. Not pictured, but I also tried the tiger shrimp ceviche and the guacamole. The ceviche was fantastic. I really enjoyed the flavors. The guacamole was just okay. I will definitely be coming back. This is a must-visit spot anytime you are in Fresno.

Yelp
I just love coming here for drinks and food. This was my niece and mom's first time. We ordered dirty martinis, guacamole and queso dips and chips, and we all decided on the lemon pasta with shrimp. Everything was delicious. Our server was very friendly and very attentive.

Yelp
I stopped by for breakfast but I do think their dinner menu is still my favorite. Staff is really friendly, wait wasn't too long (no reservation), and the ambiance is very elevated. The plates that we had on our table were dirty-- there was old food residue on them-- but an employee came by and replaced them as soon as we mentioned it. There was also tajin in my boyfriend's water glass so I'm assuming it didn't get washed that well either (he didn't care though). Anyway, for the food-- here's what we got: Croque Madame (4/5): Besides the presentation, the bread was actually my favorite part. It was SO good and because of its thickness, it made this meal pretty filling. The inside has ham and cheese, and it's topped with an egg and sauce. There isn't a whole lot on the inside, but everything was still very yummy! I enjoyed this, but for $17 I probably wouldn't get it again. Birria Benny (3?/5) ($21): The egg was good, but not a whole lot of sauce or meat. Came with a side salad. This one wasn't very filling. I really love Saizon and I'll stick with their dinner menu for next time!
google avatar

Alicia C.

Yelp
It was our first time here. Ambiance was entertaining. Definitely a good "nightly outing" type of vibe. We came for my birthday, and although I told the back up server it was my birthday, sadly my server didn't acknowledge it so I did feel a little bummed out but it was fine. She was still attentive and answered our questions. The food I would give a 4/5. We ordered the steak Bao (wow was it amazing), the lamb chops (so tender and juicy), the pork chop (it was a little dry for my particular taste) and the skirt steak with green beans. The first few bites were great but after a while we both realized everything tasted really salty. We kept munching on the beans because of their sweetness with the fig sauce to balance it out. The toffee pudding was so delicious ! I loved the toffee pieces with the ice cream. It added a great crunch. Overall experience was a 4/5 and despite all the fancy plates we only spend $170 which isn't too bad! Definitely would try them out again!
google avatar

MC L.

Yelp
First visit here. Ambiance is lovely with a full bar and plenty of seating. Walked in before 5 and seated shortly after. Ordered a cocktail which was delicious $15, then had the sole fillet which was very good, however I wish it would come with at least a few roasted or pureed carrots to enhance the meal. Had bread slice which made it filling. Cost was $34. Service was pretty good. I would return and try something else.

Yelp
My Sister and I had an amazing server "Brodie" Excellent customer service!! Loved his personality and energy!!! The food and cocktails was delicious!! Our go to appetizer always is the hummus..mmmmm

Yelp
Wow!! This was the BEST restaurant we went to in Clovis area! It was AMAZING. Everything we tried was so delicious. We had a reservation and mostly did appetizers and drinks. I can't say enough about how good the apps were. The chicken taquitos and cooked carrots made me want to order another and also one of everything!!! The oysters were a fan favorite as well! Service was amazing with still and sparkiling water. Amazing vibes and the patio is stunning.

Yelp
A Perfect Spot for a Celebration I've been waiting for the right moment to try Saizon, and graduating college was the perfect excuse. The restaurant is located in The Row, a beautifully maintained shopping center with high-end stores and plenty of parking. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The host welcomed us warmly and invited us to relax in a stylish waiting area while our table was prepared. We sat on the patio on a gorgeous day, with a light breeze, warm sun, and plenty of greenery surrounding us. The only downside to the patio was a few flies buzzing around, but the staff offers fly-deterring spinning wind fans to guests. Shortly after sitting down, a server offered us still or sparkling water and made us feel right at home. Appetizers: We started with the truffle mac, Tuscan white bean hummus, and guacamole. The truffle mac was an absolute standout. The noodles were perfectly cooked in a creamy, cheesy sauce and topped with crispy roasted breadcrumbs for texture. I would order it again without hesitation. It was my very first time trying hummus and I'm glad it was here. Creamy, flavorful, and beautifully plated, it exceeded expectations. The guacamole, while fresh and well-presented, lacked depth of flavor for my taste. Coming from Los Angeles, I've had bold, vibrant guacamole, and this one felt a little flat in comparison. If you order it, ask for a wedge of lemon and a bit of salt to enhance the flavor. Drinks: I started with a mango margarita, which didn't quite hit the mark for me. Fortunately, our server Mikaela recommended a Barry White, and it was fantastic. Sweet, fruity, balanced, and fun, it was exactly what I was hoping for in a cocktail. Entrées: I ordered the Heritage Pork Chop, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Juicy, thick, and full of flavor, paired beautifully with bacon jam, a Brussels sprout crust, and brown butter apple sauce. A classic pork and apples pairing taken to the next level. My friend ordered the Wagyu skirt steak, which was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Service: A huge thank you to our server, Mikaela. Her knowledge of the menu and tequila selection elevated the entire experience. She was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. She made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Saizon delivered and continues to deliver an amazing experience that lives up to the hype. Perfect for a special occasion or an elevated night out. I'll absolutely be back.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times. Love the food! Everything is seasoned to perfection. Dessert was so delicious.. Service is great. The drinks are ok, aesthetically pleasing for pictures. It's pretty lively so if you're looking for a more quiet and intimate setting it might not be ideal for that.. I do enjoy the hustle and bustle of the restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, gives you an excuse to get a little dressed up and look cute for a night out! Looking forward to trying out their brunch soon...
google avatar

Susan L.

Yelp
Ok this place is as good as they say! We came here for our anniversary and sat in the patio. The service was great! Everyone was so nice and checked up on us regularly. We were actually really surprised at the portion size. We ordered the shareable plates and assume they were small tapas plates but they were huge and we were so full! I get the hype now.

Yelp
We had an amazing meal here for Mother's Day this weekend. I made a reservation the morning of, and there were still a few slots left for the popular times. And there were so many things that sounded good, we had a hard time choosing! We started with the beet carpaccio. When this dish came out, we were like, how do we eat this? There is a thin layer of beets on the bottom with toppings, and it is perfectly portioned for 4 people. Protip: serve it out the SE Asian way -- with a fork and spoon. :) We got the taquitos papas (comes with an egg), and the shakshuka. My partner's mom got the birria benny (which she said was very good). Everything was fantastic. The shakshuka was tarter than I expected, but the yogurt/cream sauce balanced it nicely. The eggs were over easy, and the sourdough bread that came with this was plentiful and delicious. I hate when places serve saucy dishes without enough bread, so the hearty portion of bread was so appreciated. And then, we had to close with the churro french toast. OMG. It's amazing. Melt in your mouth, breaded with panko..... We got a bao to go (the one with scrambled eggs), and that one was good too. Yes, this places is a bit pricier than your usual diner or fastfood, but it's good, and, coming from LA, still reasonable. Mikaela was our server, and she was great. Made sure we had fresh plates after each course, and was friendly and accommodating throughout. We also met some friendly fellow diners who helped us take a group picture at the end of our meal! This place is bustling. It can be a bit loud, but not so much that you can't hear your dinner companions. The parking lot is kind of nuts, so that's something to be aware of, but unlike LA, it does seem like there was parking available if you want it.

Yelp
I love this restaurant. They always have amazing service and the food is great as well. The ambience is romantic and cozy. Me and my husband don't drink alcohol so they always accommodate us with amazing mocktails.
google avatar

Yelp
Staff is very welcoming. I love when I'm quickly acknowledged and greeted A+. Great customer service. I love their drinks even had a few mocktail's. The food is OK. I only come for birthday brunches. It's a trendy spot to meet up. PARKING REALLY REALLY SUCKS!!!

Yelp
Saizon offers great food, service, and ambiance. I love the indoor aesthetics of the space - it's perfect for a date night or special occasion. Bonus points for being able to make a reservation ahead of time. The restaurant offers indoor seating as well as an outdoor covered patio. The menu does change so it's fun to try new dishes that they offer. Everything is beautifully plated and the different flavors of each dish complement each other very well. For appetizers, we ordered ceviche, grilled oysters, baos, lemongrass chili crab, and the Chuleta. The baos were a bit plain and the sauce of the lemongrass chili crab pasta overpowered the crab, but the Chuleta was AMAZINGGGGG and one of my favorite dishes. I normally don't order lamb because the meat tastes too gamey but this was delicious. I hope this stays on the menu forever! If you have to choose just one appetizer, definitely go with the Chuleta. The waygu steak and ribeye were both perfectly cooked to order and so tender. There are a few different sides you can choose from if you order a plate. I went with the mushroom risotto and it was really good. If you're in the mood for a fancy drink, they have a selection of pretty (and strong) concoctions on the menu as well.

Yelp
I finally made it to Saizon and yes, the hype is real! My wife and I popped in here for a daytime date with no reservations, but just our fingers crossed for a seat at the bar. Lucky for us two spots opened up within a few minutes of us arriving. We shared the Croque Madam off their brunch menu and ordered a couple craft cocktails. I ordered the "Pool Boy" a Gin based cocktail with watermelon liquor, basil, and cucumber. The Pool Boy was a great summer cocktail, light and refreshing, but I switched to rosé afterwards. I'm not a huge gin fan and only like it in small doses. The rosé was great and from a local winery! The Croque Madam was delicious! This is basically a giant toasted sandwich loaded with ham, cheese, and topped with a fried egg and light sauce. Break that yolk to really set it off! I really loved the vibe here. It was very welcoming and lively. Shout out to my awesome bartender Alexa and her team for making sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed.

Natalia A.

Yelp
Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a cool and beautiful vibe inside and out. The food was unique and delicious. Been telling all my friends about it since I visited. Can't wait to visit again!

Never fails to be a 5 Crispy tuna. 5+ Delta asparagus salad 4 Elite corn 4.5 Cali steak 4 Risotto 3... but I'm not a fan so others liked it better than me All is delicious Definitely a place to order more dishes and share

Yelp
Came here during the work week to grab some dinner, service was great! He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He also shared with me that the owners own my go to fav Fresno restaurant-Heirloom! Go figure! For an app I got the recommended tiger ceviche, which was really good! For dinner I got the crispy bluefin nigiri-also recommended by the waiter. It was good, I really like the sauces it came with! The restaurant has great vibes, super sleek and modern. I'm sure I will be going back again soon when I'm in town again.

Niro H.

Yelp
This is a true hot spot for brunch time affairs. It's got the amazing ambiance, it's got great service and food to boot! I think to top it all off from all of this is that this restaurant is very inexpensive for the price, service, and location you're getting. I had went with a huge party and the service was amazing. They were super crowded on a Saturday brunch, but we had no mistaken orders. The food was exceptional as the bacon was crispy and chewy, the crab tacos were meaty and rich. The oysters! THE OYSTERS! They were so succulent and delicious, I had to order another round. Haha! If you're looking for a great brunch spot, this is one not to miss.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
OK, round two. Went back today for brunch, had a wonderful experience. The food came out super fast and was wonderfully made. I love, love the view of the kitchen and y hat you can see everything that's going and being prepared for the customers. Everyone that works there is working super hard to provide great service. Everyone from the hostesses in the front, the cooks, the waiters, the people helping keep the tables clutter free. Everything we ordered and received today was spot on. The food was excellent, I would not have changed a single thing on anything that we ordered. The bathrooms were clean the floor was spotless. I really had a truly wonderful experience at Saizon.

Yelp
Husband person treated me to an upscale dinner for my birthday. Had reservations and were immediately seated upon arrival. Comfortable booth. Place is noisy I'm guessing because of the high industrial ceiling and the fact they are packed with customers because the food is kick ass. Mikaela was our server. EXCELLENT service. Thanks you so much. Cocktails good. Super fresh oyster app with fantastic toppings. Ribeye cooked to perfection. Mushroom risotto yum. My husbands halibut was the star. Served us a lil free scoop of strawberry sorbet because it was my birthday. I highly recommend

Yelp
Brunch with my girl. Had a great time. No wait got in quick. So if worried about reservations check just in case! Shared the Birra Benny. Yum. Plus added a pancake. (Gianormous lol). Bloody Mary to finish. Perfect!

Yelp
Dinner with a vibe. I love coming here because we share everything and quality is always top tier. Service is good. Servers are pretty relaxed and attentive. The covered patio is where it's at, especially a curved booth. The food is always hits and I love their drinks !

Yelp
The food here never disappoints in flavor or quality, the service is always top tier and very polite, and the environment there always feels like a place at twice the price. Soft light and upscale decor, great for an upscale date night or a business meeting. The only downside side is that it appears they bring on certain dishes temporarily (I'm looking at you bone marrow and elk steak!) which is a bit disappointing.

Yelp
We love this place but there is definitely a difference in food presentation from when the location first opened to today. The food stills is excellent! Book a reservation ahead of time, especially for the weekends. Dinner menu: Dungeness crab tostada is delicious. Perfect amount of crab and flavor. Salmon was nicely presented and tasted amazing. A friend had it two months later and all the plating disappeared but still was tasty. Husband loved the chuletta but we didn't care for the baos. Originally they were wagyu and now it just says prime beef. Wagyu should be rich and savory and this was not. Ordered a few drinks and they were fine but not amazing. Staff are great when dining indoors but patio sometimes can seem like you get forgotten. Brunch has quickly become our favorite. Croque Madame was amazing and so was the Egg Benny. Brunch is definitely a bit more affordable and casual. We have come a few times so the pictures are not from just one visit. We like to take friends here. Food is solid but service can be spotty as this place is always busy.

Yelp
Had the best birthday dinnerl last night at Saizon. Last time was about 4 months after they opened, so it had been a while. My guy isn't much of a foodie, so he played it safe with the wagyu skirt steak, chimichurri on the side and the 3x baked potatoes as his side. The steak came with roasted peppers and brussel sprouts on top of a red pepper puree. I sampled it all and it was good, but what I ordered was better! Started off with the cauliflower cerviche which is light, crisp and refreshing, bursting with lime flavor. I remembered liking it before, but I think I forgot just how great it really is! I aslo ordered the wagyu bag buns and tandoori carrots. The bao buns in my opinion were just okay in comparison to the ceviche and carrots. Maybe because the other two were so powerful (in a good way) with married flavors. The bao buns had a BBQ sauce and fried onions on top. The wetent bad and Im not saying dont order them, I just ate them after trying the other two and the bao buns were significantly lower on the flavor scale. If you order them, eat them first. The tandoori carrots are out of this world! I wasn't expecting to be blown away by carrots! So many flavors (I cant remember the description) that added to the delicious flavor profile. I told my boyfriend that I think the tandoori carrots may be one of the best tasting things I have ever eaten! Sooo good! Also love a good Old Fashioned and my boyfriend encouraged me to get one so I tried the Fall Old Fashioned .... very tasty as well. Definitely tasted like fall, but still like an Old Fashioned as well. Rather than the drink being garnished with the traditional cherry, this one had a pear. Push that pear down into the glass and let it soak up all that fall goodness and eat it at the very end. Being that it was my birthday, my boyfriend insisted that we try all three desserts: salted Caramel cheesecake, sticky coffee pudding and the ice cream sandwich. Again, it turns out we ate things in the wrong order. We tried the ice cream sandwich last which Im sure its good alone, but doesnt hold a candle to the sticky toffee pudding or cheesecake. The cheesecake had the right smooth creamy texture and the flavor was really good. Cheesecake is a dessert favorite of mine ... but the sticky coffee pudding outshine as far as deserts. I typically do t care for "bread pudding" type desserts, but this wasn't a bread pudding. The "pudding" was more like a dense muffin. It somewhat reminded of my favorite bran muffin from La Boulangerie, but much better and more rich in flavor. It sat is this really warm "sauce" (I don't know what it was) topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. This quickly became the dessert that took our attention from the other two. I also received Saizon's complimentary scoup of strawberry sorbet. I had one bite. It was nice and light, but I had no room after sampling the other desserts. The service was great! Our waitress was helpful when we had questions about the menu and we appreciated her suggestions when deciding what to order. Our water classes were kept full and we very much appreciated the pace of the evening and when the food was served and interaction with staff. Our reservation was for 730pm, so I was able to experience Saizon in the evening this time. Enjoyed the low lighting with candle lights on each table which gave the restaurant a nice warm glow. Looking forward to returning!

Yelp
This place was amazing!!! Tell them where your problem area is and they will be super thorough, and very attentive if you feel pain. Totally grateful to Ivy, she did such a wonderful job.

Yelp
I finally got to try Saizon after having it on my list-try list for a few years. I was in town for the Holidays and met up with some previous coworkers for a Christmas dinner. We had a reservation and our party was for 9 people. Yelp didn't disappoint me with the chicken Taquitos recommendation. They were amazing. We also got the queso dip as our appetizer and it was also really delicious with a nice hint of jalopeno but it wasn't spicy. We have great service from start to finish. They were also kind to let us split up the bill in pairs. Also friendly wait staff to take our group photos!

Yelp
Came on a weekend night and luckily we had a reservation because they were packed! The two of us obviously got more than we could finish, but everything was delicious. Service was okay, but nothing memorable. Cocktails were yummy and steak was cooked well. I probably wouldn't order the seafood tower again, but it wasn't terrible for Fresno seafood. Would come back for a birthday dinner or date night!
