Could Sake Be the Next Big Drinks Trend in America? | Eater

"A Tokyo sake bar that, alongside neighborhood shops, played a key role in introducing international visitors to the soulful variety of craft sakes and helped spark deeper interest in exploring breweries and styles." - Katie Okamoto

Highly recommend to book in advance. We sat at the bar and had 4-5 dishes to share between 2 pax, including the croquette, fried pickles (which was a little strong for our liking), Soba. Sake was amazing and overall the snacks paired very well. Staff is superb and I think their menu is so cute!!

Wow. If you want classic izakaya faire and great sake from around Japan that is hard to find elsewhere, which is what we were looking for, then this is the place for you! The food was great and the sake greater! It's not easy to get into and it helps to be persistent if they turn you away. Best to try to get in early like 530 or later like 8. Don't go during Tokyo peak dinner time. But go!

we had no plan for dinner so just found this place from google map as saw it having 4+ stars. it's a warm restaurant with simple and good food plus choices of sake. we're pleased with the selection in the fridge. then we started the meal with isojiman and shirako. the overall food and place were good, just one thing upset us was there's an elder lady she's quite rude. while we're waiting for our food, we wanted to pick more sake and thus i asked if we could go near to the fridge and see? she didn't reply but just threw the sake menu to us (meaning we should refer to the menu only). but it's quite common that the paper menu wouldn't cover all selection, and i saw there's some bottle in the fridge that wasn't mentioned. i wasn't sure if she meant we couldn't order those or simply tourist shouldn't ask a question? she made us so embarrassed. later on a younger lady came and said actually we could go and look freely.

Izakaya. Chicken wings skin not crunchy, octopus tough and just boiled (no flavour), chicken balls lack flavour. I would not recommend it.

Quiet modern Izakaya in Ginza. Nihonshu selection was impressive with reliable recommendations. The staff is very passionate and has great knowledge on all regions and producers.

I'm an italian guy. Amusing experience of food (selected sashimi, rice with meat and tempura) and an awesome sakè tour with super fine sakè suggestions. Kindly suggested for western people (and not).

Excellent lunch spot. Excellent food. Excellent sake. They have good sake and premium. Can be expensive but try the YK35 sake. You won't regret it. Ask for a glass of water. They will give you a selection of distillery grade smooth, sultry water. Rather impressive.

Best experience in tokyo thus far. Met the owner, who really cares about creating a welcome atmosphere for customers, whether local or foreign. This trickles down to the staff, and ultimately to the customers themselves. Mostly a local crowd when I went, with a few foreigners. Excellent sake selection. And don't worry if you don't know what to order. The staff are happy to help pick out excellent sake and food choices. I cannot recommend Sake No Ana enough. A truly unique and welcoming experience. My trip to Tokyo wouldn't have been the same without it
