Best Filipino Food in Metro Detroit | Eater Detroit

"In Madison Heights is Edamame Sushi, a stronghold of Japanese and Filipino comfort food. Edamame Sushi offers adobo, sisig, bangus (milkfish) and other main courses, as well as breakfasts like tosilog. If you want to satiate your sweet tooth, try the turon (banana lumpia)." - Eleanore Catolico

The atmosphere is quiet and quaint, perfect for a casual date night spot! We ordered the vegetable tempura appetizer which was so yummy and came with a delicious sweet ginger sauce. The sushi was very good, I would just share caution for the firecracker roll which definitely lives up to its name, so just make sure you are okay with a lot of spice! The double shrimp and rainbow rolls were my favorite! Our server (I wish I would’ve gotten her name), was incredibly kind and welcoming. At the end, she asked for our names and thanked us individually for coming in. That extra thought was so appreciated and I would definitely come back to try the other entree options!

I get sushi whenever I visit a new place. This is some of the best tasting sushi I've ever enjoyed. Everything was delicious. Even my least favorite nigiri melted in my mouth and the rolls were perfect in their flavors and assembly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I'll be back when I'm in the area again.

Sake Sushi has become a cherished midweek tradition for my daughter and I! Every Wednesday, right after her gymnastics class, we treat ourselves to a delightful meal, and I can't express enough how much we look forward to it. From the moment we walk in, we’re greeted by the warm smile of Annie. She truly makes us feel like family, always remembering our favorite dishes and asking about our week. Her friendly demeanor adds a personal touch that elevates our dining experience to something truly special. Now, let’s talk about the food! Everything we've tried has been fantastic, but I must highlight the avocado roll as a must-try for kids. It’s creamy, delicious, and the perfect introduction to sushi for little ones. My daughter loves it, and it’s always a hit for her, making our visits extra enjoyable.

Google
We had their pork dumplings in broth, spicy edamame, TNT roll and Jalapeño roll. Each item was delicious but the favorite was spicy edamame, the sauce is made by them and is truly amazing. The service was great, we never had to look around for the waitress as she would anticipate and keep checking in whenever we would need her. Great hidden gem in royal oak downtown!

I’ve never had a bad experience at Sake. Food is always amazing and fresh; never lacking any flavor. We love our regular waitress, she is awesome and such a sweetheart! My picky kids even love eating here. Just a great restaurant to visit, across the board. 10/10 would recommend!

Came into town for work and needed a quick but delicious lunch. Found Sake Sushi from their reviews, and they didn't disappoint! They weren't super busy, so I was able to be seated quickly. Annie, my server, was super attentive and ensured I had everything I needed. I ordered the chicken fried rice and the spicy vegetarian ramen, and both were fantastic! Happy to support an obviously local business doing great work. ❤️

Google
Great little hidden spot in Royal Oak. Good food, good atmosphere. My only qualm was that it did take some time for us to get seated. Seemed like there was only one server working that night but I could be wrong. Once we were seated, everything was ok. Would recommend to any Asian food lovers. We had the beef bulgogi and chicken fried rice.

Google
I felt compelled to leave this review because I am hoping my experience was not the norm, but I do see some reviews mentioning a similar experience. First of all, the food tasted GREAT. I have no complaints whatsoever about the QUALITY of the food. My review is simply to warn others about the experience they might have. My issue is with 1) the wait time and 2) the amount of food we received for the prices we paid. Our server, Jeanette, was lovely. She was very attentive and friendly. She even comped our soups because we waited so long for our meal. We were sat immediately, brought drinks immediately, and only waited maybe 10 minutes for our soups. We ordered 5 sushi rolls: eel and cucumber roll ($7.99), Michigan roll ($15.99), Alaskan roll ($7.99), Ninja roll ($14.99), and Baked Lobster Roll ($17.99). My main issue is that we waited a FULL hour for our sushi to come out. I could see there was only one guy in the kitchen and one guy at the counter assembling the rolls. There were only three tables of people including us. One table walked out at some point and I have no idea how long they had been there. My next issue is the amount of food. Usually when you order a "specialty" roll, it's quite a bit larger than your standard $6.99 roll like a California roll. These rolls were ALL the same size regardless of price. I do understand that the ingredients make a roll more expensive, but I've never seen anything like this at any sushi restaurant. The rolls we paid $15 and $17 for were exactly the same size as the rolls we paid $8 for. Six small pieces in each roll. I'm guessing that's what people in other reviews are referring to when they say they "didn't receive all their food". I wish I had taken a picture, but by the time we got our food we were so hungry that we ate it all in ten minutes. Like I said, the food tasted GREAT, and the service was fine, but for a $72.03 bill it was extremely underwhelming. Especially to think our soups were comped, which would have made our bill $84.03. I'm not from this area and maybe I'm wrong to assume this was a rip off, but I felt like I had to leave a review which is something I rarely do.

Yelp
Absolutely a wonderful place. My wife is Japanese, and she loved it as well. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and we'll be back for sure. The service we received by our server, Annie, was impeccable, and she's another reason we'll be back! We didn't take any pictures this time because we were too busy enjoying ourselves.

Yelp
Came back to see if it really was an experience I can have on a regular basis. Sadly not this time sushi was dry gnats flying around and waiter coughing right by tables . Ambiance needed cleaning table and lamp looked like it hadn't been wiped down in days. Probably won't be returning.

Yelp
Amazing food and Service! The waitress Annie is great and takes care of you right away! The wait for food has never been long and the food is always good and fresh! I will continue returning for more and highly recommend trying it!

Yelp
People say this sushi restaurant offers delicious Korean dishes like bibimbap, japchae, and spicy pork, as well as a wide variety of sushi rolls. They also highlight the friendly staff, the generous portions, and the reasonable prices.

Yelp
Smallest piece of fish. There is more cucumber than anything and not to mention it's warm.

Yelp
This restaurant is a very unassuming Japanese and Korean restaurant. The Sake flight was very tasty! The atmosphere was super casual and the price is well worth it. The service is good especially when it's super busy and packed for this place. The Salmon teriyaki, chef's sushi platter and beef bulgogi was very very good!!! And the portions were big! So much so that we couldn't even tried to look at dessert! Well worth the visit!

Andrew B.

Yelp
Favorite sushi spot in metro Detroit! Family restaurant vine with great sushi and dishes as well as great Saki cocktails! We're regulars and appreciate a more laid back sushi restaurant compared to the usual more upscale.

Yelp
Great vibe and vegetable dumplings were amazing. Perfect date night place! The sushi was amazing and so was the service. Annie was great and will request her next time too!

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience here, led by the fantastic service and fresh fresh fish! I can't recall another sushi restaurant that has this kind of service: an introduction of both servers and full explanation of the menu I ordered the chef's sashimi: an entire plate of sashimi large enough for two ($40) Wonderful! My friends had some amazing looking cocktails as well

Yelp
UPD: since there is no option to respond to the restaurant's representative's response - I will write here. Please re-read my initial text attentively. DoorDash denied their mistake, my claim and closed the case. My relationship with DoorDash is broken and beyond repair but it has nothing to do with the experience of therestaurant. It has been a frustrating experience all in all. The conversation via phone with several staff members and sore aftertaste (I do not meanfood). No need for any reimbursement at this point, it's not about the money at the end. And to be fair, the food (the part of it which made its way) was not bad at all. I liked it.

Yelp
I loved the atmosphere. It's kind of kitschy honestly in the best way. It's cozy and clean with quick, kind service. I had two pieces of salmon nigiri and Daenjang Chike soup. Nigiri came out first and was perfect. Warm rice, room temp fish, buttery texture with a little give. Large pieces of salmon, had to bite one in half. I had never had Daenjang Chike and it had beef brisket in it. Beef was not fatty and it was tender and shreddy. It wasn't marked on the menu as spicy but it definitely had a bite, I think I could see the sprinkles of gochugaru along the edges of the bowl. Yum. It arrived at my table literally boiling and I loved that, so cozy. Took my time eating it, got a spoon full of rice that came on the side and dipped the spoon for broth/rice bite. It warmed me from the inside out! Perfectly salty, acidic, spicy, and savory. Veggies were zucchini, onion, and potato. Everything was perfect, thank you Sake Sushi, I'll be back for Sake!

Yelp
I am unbelievably saddened that I have to write this post. Today, while at Saki sushi with my partner and one year-old daughter, I was racially profiled and discriminated against the second I walked in the door. First, I was told that I could not sit in the outdoor seating area because they were short staffed, only to see people seated out there after I was told I cannot. When I asked why, I was told that only "regular" customers could sit in the outdoor seating area. I wasn't 100% sure what that meant. Moreover, when the bill came, I was notified that gratuity was added in. I didn't think anything of it, however, something just felt a little "off" about the way she pointed it out to me. Two Caucasian young ladies sit at the table across from me and also just received their bill. I inquired to see if they were charged auto gratuity as well, and was shocked to learn that they were not charged auto gratuity. While this was off-putting to me, the two young ladies thought that it was "gross and completely ridiculous" that they would charge automatic gratuity and not them. When the server came back over and I asked why did this happen, she explained that that is their policy for "new"customers. That is even more weird because I have been to this place before. Later, I asked her would it happen to be because I was black, she responded, "No, because I am Asian." I guess that was supposed to make me feel better? I don't know. Then she insisted that she will take off the gratuity even after I said it was fine. This let's me know that she knew what she did was wrong and that this is a normal practice at Sake Sushi: "Charge Black people automatic gratuity and also don't let them sit outside for fear that they may run off on the bill." For context, I am an advocate for small business in Metro Detroit, but I can't stand and let racism be so blatant and not speak up about it. Not only was this a form of discrimination, but it's completely illegal.

Yelp
We had the best experience here. My family (husband, toddler and infant) were treated so kindly. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our meal was delicious too. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
our server was wonderful and super attentive to us which was wonderful. the sushi was great and they had a good amount of gluten free options as well as gluten free soy sauce. the bibimbap was also very good.

Yelp
This restaurant was completely empty so we got seated immediately. This was on a Monday evening about 6 PM, and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food prices are very good and I don't believe the waitress got our complete order right but the food came out quickly so things she forgot. We just had her go have them make it and it was good.

Yelp
Serviced took forever. Beer tasted like shit in a tin cup. She took it away and didn't bring me another one. Lol whatever. Food was very tasty.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night around 9:00pm. There were empty tables but didn't get greeted/seated until 20 minutes later. It seems like they are understaffed and the waiter took a while to take our order. I got the Yookkejang and Mandu Soup. The yookkejang had absolutely no flavor. It literally tasted like water with a hint of spice. The Mandu soup was really good, the broth was flavorful and the dumpling itself was sweet and juicy. The portion size here is also really good and the price here is super reasonable. Would come back to try their other dishes. Good place for date nights or a simple night out with friends.

Yelp
Came here for the first time for a friend's birthday. My husband ordered this spicy beef udon and it came 35 min after the rest of us got our food... We were the one that had to flag down the server to tell them about the missing food .. only then were we told they accidentally served this to another table and had to remake a new one. Too bad the dish was filled mainly with mushrooms and Korean fernbrake, and not a lot of noodles... server seemed surprised we didn't want to take it to go after seeing how he barely touched his food. Husband does not like mushroom and it was not listed on the menu, so he did not enjoy his meal.

Yelp
literally everything here is incredible! the food, our server Annie was amazing, and the environment is so lovely! I cannot speak highly enough of here.

Benito M.

Yelp
So this was my Spicy Shrimp and Chicken dolsot BIBIMBAP!!! BIBIMBAP?!!! (Screaming ) Ordered this as it is in the menu, and i myself am a big fan of bibimbap, i never seen such bibimbap like this. What i mean, normally they have banchans and different toppings on top of it, but mine came out like this. It was less appetizing looking and same with the flavor. I was expecting nothing more or extravagant, but food for me is life- makes me happy. I believe that Bibimbap has colorful cultural representation with beautiful story underlying on this dish, however this one was like cooked in "hibachi" style and just topped it on the rice. I was totally shocked and surprised. Again, since this was my first time having this kind of style of bibimbap out of thousand of times i had before, I am not sure why they have this in their menu if they cant live by the principle of bibimbap (banchans, other condiments, etc). On top of this kind of presentation you get, it is not worth it for the price itself.

Yelp
out of all the things to say about this place, i need to start by saying the food was SO good to me. my main dish was the tofu yakisoba and i also had the AAC roll. both dishes surpassed my expectations. there were a good amount of vegetarian dishes here too. the food came out super fast, i loved the interior and semi-questionable choices of decor. for the quality of food i really feel like this place is fairly priced, too. i'm already excited to come back here

Yelp
This restaurant has incredible food, service, and vibe. Every time I go, I get udon and occasionally sushi. Its always delicious. The waitress is always kind and accommodating. The vibe inside the restaurant is nice and relaxing. Couldn't ask for a better restaurant.

Yelp
Cool vibe, great late night spot. We will be back. Casual cool dress code and great playlist the whole time.

Yelp
The service and food here are both fantastic. Annie was truly special and kind. Even though it seems they are short staffed, you would never know it. We ordered the albacore tempura roll to start and then the shrimp tempura udon along with the shrimp and scallop bibimbap -- both were delicious and the ultimate comfort food. Highly recommend! Can't wait to come here for the warm dishes during the winter, the whole place has cozy vibes!
google avatar

Yelp
Sushi was delicious the service was quick I didn't experience the ambiance because it was delivered lol
google avatar

Annie A.

Yelp
The service here was excellent; Annie was fast, attentive and accommodating. I got the miso soup and it was good but didn't have any tofu chunks in it. We also ordered the Philly cheese and salmon teriyaki rolls- both were good. They let me add cucumber to one of the rolls which I appreciated too.
google avatar

Yelp
Yum yum yum! The sushi here is delicious and not overpriced at all. I was surprised considering it's location. They have so many different rolls. Plus the inside has a cute wooden design. Definitely dropping in whenever I am in the city.

Yelp
AMAZING! I LOVE IT! Huge portions of food and for the price is amazing! Food tastes amazing, with every bite felt a new spark of amazing flavor! Definitely going to make this place my regular from now on!

Yelp
Sake Sishi, Very disappointing for two reasons: One, communication over the phone is very hard, because much of the staff can't speak English, and two, the Sushi Rolls are not very good. Let me start by my sushi experience....both my sister, and her kids decided to give Sake Sushi a try. Since I am a veteran of the Sushi culture, I was hesitant to order at this place. My sister had to leave my place, because she was on call. When she put in her order, over the phone, we both made it painfully evident that our sushi would be in separate bags. One for her, and her family, and one for me! Unfortunately, Sake Sushi found a way to screw the entire order up! Not only did they ignore our instructions, but they found a way to switch out orders! I ended up with a large order that was supposed to be for my sisters family, and she did NOT even get the Oushi roll I ordered! Side note...did a 10.99 roll, it was extremely small! ....in other words...rip off central! Long story short. When I called to complain about what happened. They did not even want to give me a free roll! I actually had to ask them, due to their negligence! As a result, the manager told me he would make another roll for me, for free. I told him that o would give this place another chance. When I came in for the free roll they are FedEx me, I had to wait 30 minutes! It literally took 16 minutes did a person to meet me at the counter! This is ridiculous! I ordered the roll in advance, 1 hour before! How could I have waited an extra 30 minutes? I honestly think this place will close up n the next 2 years! ....awful awful service and mediocre food are indications that this place is a goner!

Yelp
This place never disappoints. The tempura udon was delicious! & the sushi was great. They have a lot of great options on the menu! The waitress was super kind as well. I come back to this place all the time!!

Yelp
Sake Sushi is a great place! It's quaint and cozy with a modern flare. During summer months they have a patio to dine at. But I opted to eat inside. It was my first visit here and everything I had was a 1st. I adored it. The food, drinks and service were fantastic! They had different flavors of saki, which I'd never seen before. My libation of choice was pineapple saki, for an appetizer I had the veggie gyoza, and my entree was the salmon pizza roll. Everything was both flavorful and fresh. My only complaint is that my appetizer and meal came out at the same time. But it's a must try! My server Joice was sweet and attentive as well.

Yelp
I had the Crazy Girl and the Lobster Roll with spicy mayo. They were awesome!!! Great service!! Highly recommended!!!
google avatar

Sari G.

Yelp
Great sushi!!! We got it to go! They give you 6 rolls instead of 8 like at some places but the rolls were very good. We got the baked lobster roll, a spicy cali roll, a shrimp temp roll, a chicken teriyaki roll and a spicy tuna roll. Got their house sesame salad and their miso soup too! They have decent prices!
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
This restaurant has a really large menu, with a lot of Japanese and Korean dishes you can't find in Royal Oak. The sushi was great, shu maj was outstanding, and the dolsot bibimbap was one of the best I've ever had. Our server Annie was very friendly and everything was served quickly. Really happy to find a place like this in the area, and would definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
Great local sushi spot with cheaper prices. Nice chill vibe for a weeknight sushi date

Yelp
Strolling through Royal oak and this spot caught our eye. We didn't order food but the jars of sake proved to be irresistible. They offer flights!! We sampled Cherry, Ginger, Pineapple, Blueberry and Sangria. My fav was the Ginger, my companion loved the Pineapple. Def recommend stopping by for a drink!

Yelp
Excellent sushi experience from a locally owned and operated restaurant! Their menu is very diverse offering your palate multiple types of Asian cuisine and the service was excellent! Our waitress Annie was very welcoming and personable. Whether you are grabbing a casual bite with a friend or looking for a date night out, check out Sake Sushi.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't rated the spot until now. We've had take out from here before and have enjoyed their outside patio before and all of our experiences have been fantastic. We ordered take out the other night because... Covid. We decided to order three rolls and an appetizer. We started off with the beef gyoza and they were extremely flavorful and definitely homemade. I'm not normally a fan of deep-fried gyoza but I will definitely make an exception for these in the future they were delicious. For our rolls we ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll. Everything you'd expect from a spicy tuna roll, I will note it tasted very fresh and had a great flavor. We also ordered the Super Crunch Roll. This flavor combination was really delicious, nice and rich from the sauces with awesome crispiness from the tempura shrimp. I would definitely order this roll again and again. Next up the Michigan Roll, jalapenos on the side. I could not stop eating this roll, in my opinion it is very spicy but the flavor is so epic I could not quit eating it. I ordered the jalapenos on the side because my husband isn't normally a spicy person, good thing I did! Even he couldn't turn away a couple pieces of this role because the flavor was just incredible. I personally did not even need the jalapenos on the side but if you really like hot stuff it would add a perfect crunch to the top. In terms of a takeout experience and sanitation for covid, I would give them a 10/10. The ordering process was extremely easy, the estimated time was spot on and they had a very convenient pickup station located at the front of the restaurant. Give this place a try I'm astounded that it only has three and a half stars right now. It's pretty awesome and the rolls are huge!

Yelp
Food was delicious! Atmosphere and service were amazing! Go check this sushi place out

Yelp
My bf and I are new in town and stumbled across this place while exploring the neighborhood. The food was fresh and amazing in all! We seemed to have been the only ones dining in so our service was on point, like incredibly on point. Our server, Annie, was a delight. She knew the menu front to back and spoke so proudly of her family owned business and even learned our names to use throughout the time there.
google avatar

Tori G.

Yelp
My sister and I love this place! The food is great and so is the service. I got there 45 minutes before my party (ugh, sisters), and my server was SO understanding and accommodating. She remembered my name from my ID check and we chatted when she had the time. I have an allergy to shellfish and nuts and she recalled the information multiple times while I was there. This is not common practice but it made me feel very safe throughout our courses that there wouldn't be cross contamination. She really loves this place and I like it even more after experiencing her service. A lot of restaurants are struggling right now to create a great experience because of lack of staff so when I had a fantastic experience here (this is RARE) I knew I had to write a review. I absentmindedly only tipped a little over 20% but wish I would've given more. Can't wait to come back!

Frankie S.

Yelp
i loved sake sushi so much!! the prices are incredibly fair and the quality is great. miso soup was a bit flavorless and the waiter could have checked on us more. All of the rolls are so unique and there is something for everyone. i want to come back to try the korean food too!!

Yelp
Food: Delicious. I was very pleased with the quality and taste of my order. I was hangry and nervous to try something new and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Baked Lobster Roll, Kimchi Chike and Ginseng sake. My order came to about $40 pretip. Baked lobster - was standard (not in a bad way). I added an order of bomb sauce to add some kick to my roll and I'm so glad I did. The bomb sauce is noms. I would come back just for that alone. Kimchi Chike - my first time having Kimchi Chike, it's basically a spicy soup with kimchi and pork (more on this later). The spicy level was satisfying (of course this is objective. I'd say I have a medium level of tolerance for spice. If you have low level, this may be too spicy, if you have a high level of tolerance for spice, this may seem like low spice to you). For me, it opened my pores though I did not sweat. Ginseng sake - also my first time ordering Not bad on flavor, light, very smooth, no atrocious after taste (again, subjective). The ginseng is 1 of the flight of 5. (Blueberry, Ginseng, Pineapple, Cherry, and Sangria). I wanted to try the Pineapple, which is also the most popular choice according to server Danny, but I could not try due to an allergy. Would be interested in trying other flavors before ordering the Ginseng again. Ambiance - it is a small place, quaint, decorated with cute Japanese and Korean decor. It has about 11 tables with about 6 small booths. It looks like they may have had more seating options Pre-COVID. I took the best pics that I could without being a creeper to the others who were also dinning in. The temperature was nice and toasty (the sake could have also aided in this ). The tables were set up to be used in a COVID appropriate setting (every other table). The music was on the chill side. During most of my lunch they were playing Kem and as a fan of Neo Soul I greatly appreciated this. The T.V. behind the bar had on a hilarious game show with subtitles which was also enjoyable. Check it out if you've never seen a Japanese or Korean game show. No wifi (that I could see on my laptop, and I didn't bother asking). Customer Service - only one server so a tad bit slow (in comparison to what Americans like...yes, I am American ), but I was in no rush and had no place to go and did not mind. My food came out in a decent amount of time for me and what I ordered. Danny was very nice and accommodating. The initial table he sat me at was next to the wine cooler and a little rocky so I requested to move and he allowed me to choose my new table, no problem. Keep in mind this is on a slow Sunday afternoon with not many other diners. My Kimchi Chike was supposed to have pork in it and when I inquired about it, Danny checked into it and offered to remake the dish. I opted for them to add the pork in instead. When the pork was ready, he offered to take my bowl to add the pork and then rewarm my meal. By that time I had continued to eat and was full so I had him wrap it up. Instead of wrapping up my old rice, he gave me a fresh one and apologized a few times. He was very polite. Overall would recommend and would come again. Their menu is pretty sizable with the Japanese and Korean options so there's so much more to try!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food! It's family owned and they had such an impressive menu. All of the marinades are hand made for all of the Korean food. Some of the best Tteok-bokki I've had. The chirashi was super fresh and the rice was well seasoned. I had an a fabulous time with my family and can't wait to come again. The servers are super nice and courteous as well!

Yelp
First time visiting and I was super pumped because they have such a large sushi menu! I ordered the two rolls in the photos and all I can say is holy EFFing sauce!! I mean they were just absolutely DRENCHED... and soggy because of it. Had no clue what fish was in there because all I could taste was sauce. So I'm pretty upset... I'll give them another shot forsure but LIGHT sauce or on the side will be Update. Tried ordering carry out through grub hub.. should've been ready at 7:19pm... 30 mins later I finally walk out. The dungeon dragon roll this time was meh, the soft shell carb seemed like it was fried 4 hours ago and used. The wasabi roll was good tho. Second chance still horrible experience because when I arrived the server said it'll be 20 mins we gotta take care of the restaurant first... Was he for real??? I spent $40 on my order.. then waited another 40 mins. Yeh def won't be back.

Yelp
I don't understand why this place doesn't have better reviews! Eaten here three times, always had great food and great service! My partner and I usually each get a ramen or udon bowl each and split some sushi! My partner loves the spicy beef ramen and gets it every time. I enjoyed the spicy beef as well. I branched out and got the vegetable Sansai udon and it was filled with yummy vegetables, the noodles were perfect, and may favorite part is that is wasn't too salty! I love the well seasoned salad they serve before the meal comes. It's so freaking tasty. We got the Sunday morning roll to split and it was also delicious. Heard great things about the lobster roll and can't wait to try it next time. Green tea and Korean pear honey tea were delicious as well! Tea seems like a small thing, but I especially loved the unique flavor of the honey pear! Always a large amount of tea to enjoy with the whole meal as well. We'll definitely keep coming back :)

Yelp
This place has a great menu and great potential. Their sign isn't great, it's large but the font is small and off to the side so it's hard to attract people to come eat there. Service also isn't the best. My boyfriend and I ordered three rolls and our server didn't even tell us which one was which and when we asked he gave us the vibe that we were bothering him to ask such a question. We bought a bottle of wine so you would assume that with three rolls, soup salad and wine the server would want to earn our 20% tip....I think if this restaurant improves their customer service and change their sign they will do much better.
