Treated like trash if you don't flash your cash Didn't see a menu or our table for almost an hour, even with a reservation, while other people got seated ahead of us. Visited Sakhalin on 02.01.2025, having made a reservation for 19:00 weeks in advance for me and my partner. We arrived at the front desk at 19:05, handed our coats to the clerk and got told to wait for our table to be ready (we requested a table away from the window when booking due to my fear of heights). After around 20 minutes of waiting and several parties being seated ahead of us we asked what was happening, a host said we would be seated soon and all of the parties being seated before us had put deposits on their tables. So your reservation means nothing to them if someone else comes in and waves a bit of money in their face. 10 minutes later at 19:35 we were finally taken inside but guided to the bar, not our table, to sit and wait since our table was still not ready, and we were provided with complimentary glasses of wine. We asked for a menu in English since only one of us speaks Russian, the host said they would be back with it momentarily. 5 minutes later we flagged down a server to ask for the menu again. Another 5 minutes passed, now 19:45 we had seen no sight of the host or the menu & we decided to wait a few more minutes before giving up. At 19:50 we left the bar and the free drinks, without seeing a menu or our table almost an hour after our reservation. Back at the front desk we got apologies from the hosts but no attempt to act on the situation, until we put our coats back on and a manager appeared saying our table was magically ready as we were about to step into the elevator. By that point we were done, with the experience ruined and no desire to hand over our money to people who treat us with such contempt. Nothing is worth the wasted time and embarrassment we encountered. Michelin star or not.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Sakhalin restaurant in Moscow. The restaurant is known for its stunning views of the city skyline and its fresh seafood. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef. The dish I ordered was a delicate balance of flavors, and the presentation was simply beautiful. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that left me feeling satisfied and impressed.

First of all, the view from the restaurant is incredible, it’s in a very well-developed part of the city. We’ve only been to places like this as tourists before, so the menu seemed kinda hard to figure out at first. Thank God, our waiter didn't just try to sell us the most expensive dishes, but instead calmly talked us through the different types of seafood and what makes each unique. This helped us make a really balanced and informed decision, and we enjoyed every dish we ordered.

Amazing Cuisine 🦪 I visited this restaurant with a friend who had lived on Sakhalin Island for 12 years and had the opportunity to learn from him about their local cuisine. Of course, the dishes are not 100 percent authentic, but this is fully justified, otherwise the restaurant would never become such a trendy place. A large selection of dishes from northern fish, molluscs, wild berries as well as sushi and sashimi. Awesome taste combined, lovely plate service together with an amazing bird's eye view to the city.

Nice surprise! We were suggested to go to Sakhalin instead as White Rabbit was closed for building emergency evacuations. Such a short notice and without knowing what we were going to experience, we came to here and had a wonderful evening and great city view. The nice atmosphere and Asian fusion mixed with seafood was wonderful. We enjoyed every dishes the waitress recommended.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was expensive but exceptional and the presentation was above and beyond. The fish and seafood are the stars of the show and every type we tried blew us away. Absolutely worth it for the experience. If the weather is good there is even a terrace with a great view.

Tried few times,get a table on weekends impossible.Finally comes. Don’t drive yourself to this place,will have to park underground and go trough garbage place to elevator.Smell does not promote appetite. Take a taxi and be a boss.Go trough lobby entrance. Beside of that ,everything perfect. My wife seafood lover was impressed. I got OKROSHKA with amazing homemade bread. Ask table with view and enjoy Moscow city😉

Magnificent view is not the only things that you will enjoy here. But excellent and delicious seafood variety. This is definitely one of Moscow’s top restaurants. It can be busy so service can be slow at times. But other than that it is an enjoyable experience.
