Saks Fifth Avenue

12/28/25 Between 12:45pm and 1:15pm My overall experience at this Saks location was disappointing. Firstly, my experience at the return center was subpar. I got to the register where I met Ahmara (In photo). I informed her that I was retiring a gift but I wanted to make a purchase in store so I would of appreciated if she could provide me a merchandise credit so I could place the order with a sales associate. She instantly became crude. She stated that because I didn’t have a gift receipt that it would not have been possible. I asked for a manager because the item was in the original delivery packaging, tags intact and order details available. She stated that she’s going to call a manager but the manager was going to tell me the same thing. As she’s speaking with the manager she’s reiterating what the manager, Tiara, told her. Essentially saying there was nothing that they could do for me. After hanging up the phone I asked if the manager was coming to speak with me and she said no. The manager is too busy. I have never been told a manager was too busy to speak with a customer in my entire life. At this point I began to question how a manager would fail to speak with a customer who is requesting clarity she proceeded to call the next customer in line to her register ultimately brushing me off completely. I found her behavior to be uncouth. Tiara failure to speak with me shows that she clearly lacks decorum as a manager and I am highly disappointed by interaction with Ahmara and Tiara, by proxy. Here’s where things get interesting, before leaving the store I ran into another sales associate Jessica. Jessica was kind and presented well as a young lady. After explaining the situation she took me over to a register and proceeded to process the return for me. At some point return needed to be approved by a manager and that is where Natalia comes in. She apologized for my experience prior to her assistance and authorized my return. She was poised, approachable and provided an exceptional interaction. Once my return was complete Jessica was able to place my online order for me in store. Before leaving the store I went to get Ahmara and Tiaras names and Ahmara entire demeanor changed as she noticed that I no longer had the package in my hand and seemingly wanted their names to address my dissatisfaction. I am truly disheartened by my initial interaction but very grateful that I was able to leave knowing that I was successful in the reason for my visit to Saks Walt Whitman. Finally, the overall culture at this particular store is abysmal with very few employees like Jessica and Natalia, who strive for customer satisfaction.

Alevtina was incredibly friendly and gave us the best experience ever! Even though she was covering multiple departments today, she still took the time to assist us with everything we needed. Truly impressive service — we’ll definitely be back to shop again!

My husband showed a saleswoman in jewelry a picture I gave him of an idea for a bracelet. The picture was from an a Saks off 5th ad. She was dismissive and actually rude telling him he was in the wrong place that was a cheap bracelet and to go to the outlet. She showed him nothing like it and reiterated he should go there. Instead, he went to our jeweler and ordered the $4k bracelet. So thank you to the dismissive and rude saleswoman! It was a great Christmas!

I am extremely disappointed with Saks Fifth Avenue. I placed an order for two separate items, both intended as birthday gifts. Days later, I received emails saying the items were “sold out” and my orders were canceled. When I contacted customer service, they acknowledged the error and admitted the store hadn’t properly updated its inventory. I was told the item was supposed to come from THIS store, yet despite admitting the mistake, they said there was nothing they could do to help. This kind of inventory mismanagement is shocking for a company that positions itself as a luxury retailer. A store of this caliber should be able to keep accurate track of stock and communicate issues promptly—not hold an order for days and then casually cancel it. The lack of reliability and professionalism has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. At the very least, Saks should be offering meaningful remedies when situations like this occur. I also couldn’t help but notice the large difference between Saks’s Yelp ratings and their Google reviews. My experience aligns far more with the critical feedback here on Yelp, which makes me question how reflective or reliable the Google reviews really are. This experience has made me seriously question whether Saks can be trusted for important purchases.

I unfortunately had the worst experience. Saks fifth is supposed to be luxury and provide an ambiance that resembles such.instead I was overcharged and dismissed. Needless to say, if you have to get shoes go to the flagship store. stay away from this Saks shoe department, they are not welcoming or helpful and be sure to check your receipt always.

Went in yesterday to return a jacket . Representative was extremely helpful . Sales rep that assisted with my purchase was helpful as well. Highly recommend

Nice store with a lot of selection. Pretty cheap for me , but for others expensive. Good selection of clothing. I especially like the Gucci that they have.Some clothes were unfolded and not taken care of. They should be neater. Other than that, everything else was very good.

Brought wife in for a dress fitting. Sales staff was top notch and showed her a collection of several colors, styles, and lengths that they thought would look good on her. My wife was so delighted with the specialized service. The sales woman actually ran downstairs to grab a pair of shoes just to see how they would look with the dress. Wow.. Wife bought a dress, needed to be altered and it was done in ONE day. Will definitely recommend Saks Fifth Avenue and thank you for the wonderful service through this painful pandemic...

I have been a Saks Fifth Avenue customer for five decades. I fondly remember my first Saks 5th Ave navy blue suit that was tapered, form fitting and Ooh La La. ( that's what I would say to myself.) I love that they still do have a good and continually updating variety and selection of different name brands - Armani, Gucci, Versace in this Huntington store. I love the easy access from the parking lot and that the men's department is just to the left of the main door. I have never seen this store really crowded. Getting something relevant and in my size from the sale racks( red tag 40 -50 percent off) by the Gastro Pub is the luck of the draw. I did luck out and picked up a nice shirt today. The bad- I was in an old t shirt, khakis and keds today. I walked in and three employees in the men's section saw me, did not say a word or a hello, just ignored me and looked away. So I browsed around for about 5 minutes. They kept bs ing about 20 feet away. The area was empty. I went on to the Gucci area and met the spunky and fun Rosanna who was sharp, funny and very cool. I purchased 2 bags for the amazing women in my life. Then I went to the jewelry section and the fantastic Alla was so resourceful, patient and helpful in finding a nice topaz and diamond pendant for Mom. She made some great recommendations and did show me the items on sale as well. I circled back to the men's area and went on to pick up an Emporio Armani suit. I walked it back to my two favorite Saks team members to ring up. The terrific trio saw me moving and one gentleman ran up to me and stated " Oh you did like that one. It fit ok right, the 44! I was holding a 40( lost some weight). " I just smiled and waved. Dear Saks ownership, HR and Management - I don't know if you can teach this. I think it is what it is. Never ever judge a book by its cover. The three wannabes who were playing judge and jury based on my casual appearance and tan led me to work with two real, authentic, awesome, professional, kind, humble and solid workers on the very same team. I picked up gifts and a suit and shirt totaling just under five figures.

I have been coming here for years with my mom, I was able to get the Saint Laurent bag I needed for my trip to Greece in May!

Saks is Saks is Saks. Just make sure your tags are still intact, your receipt in hand, notarized second over 30 days after purchase and everything is absolutely perfect if you need to make an in-store return. They have become total and complete Nazis in the return department.

Customers with disabilities are not wanted here!!! This Saks Fifth Avenue store and Gastronomy Restaurant offer no disability parking at all directly outside the main outside entrance to Gastronomy. The only disability parking for people with handicap parking placards is directly in front of the back entrance to Saks, which is not the most direct or closest route to Gastronomy's inside and outside entrances. Sadly, Saks Fifth Avenue closes before Gastronony closes leaving restaurant patrons with disabilities stranded far away outside -- that's if they can even secure one of the very few designated disability parking spots earmarked for retail customers. Attempts to resolve this problem and create new disability parking spots directly outside Gastronomy have fallen on deaf ears with Walt Whitman Shops, Gastronomy and Saks Fifth Avenue for nearly a year. Customers' safety is at stake, especially during inclement weather and in the evening. When Saks is closed, restaurant patrons with disabilities are forced to park far from Gastronomy's only available outside entrance which faces the parking lot and where there are no designated parking spots for disabled drivers. Saks Fifth Avenue and Gastronomy have, however, made it a priority to designate parking spots exclusively for fuel efficient/alternative use cars directly outside the restaurant's entrance. It does not appear that Walt Whitman Shops and Saks Fifth Avenue are complying with ADA parking requirements since the shortest path to Gastronomy is not by traveling through Saks Fifth Avenue's back entrance, men's and handbag departments. It's by walking outside through Gastronomy's designated exterior parking lot entrance. I implore all customers with disabilities to take retail business and dining to other establishments that care for their safety and respect their challenges. I will no longer support them!!!!

Was looking for a specific pair of Louboutin shoes for a holiday gift. Was told by Saks personnel that the shoes were in stock at this stock. I get to the store and the store associate tells me they don't even carry Louboutin shoes in the store. She said she can see "in the system" that another Saks has a pair. Says she'll get back to me. Never heard from her again. Was impossible to get ahold of a manager. No apology for my 3-hour round trip drive for shoes that never existed in the store.

This is a store I rarely shop for clothing, but when I am at the mall, from the parking lot it is a short cut to the Tommy Bahama store. But I stopped short when I saw the seventy (70%) discount rack as I walked into the store. When do you see that kind of discount at any store. Well I found a couple of items that I thought were a great buy. But when I thought I escaped without spending a lot of money, I froze when I saw a pair of shoes on the shelf that I loved. In the future, I will enter through the mall door entrance.

a few months ago i ordered a gorgeous pink Ganni puffer coat which was on sale. it arrived with a broken zipper, which was literally stuck in the middle of the zipper track and could not be moved up or down. the coat had no snaps or i would have kept it and just not used the zipper at all. i never even tried the coat on due to not being able to get into it. i called to ask for a return label to me mailed to me. they said no. they emailed me the return label so i had to take 2 taxi rides to a UPS store to get the label printed out! very annoying. Then, when i was emailed that the coat was received at their return facility, they tried to insinuate that i broke the zipper! i kept after them and after 2 months i got my refund. but i am 100% DONE with Saks. i will never shop with them again in my lifetime. Such rudeness from Customer Service.

I'll never forget years ago for my wedding I purchased my gorgeous purple manolo shoes but they were too big. I hurried to buy them in a smaller size and ran here to return the to big ones. The sales guy was so nice as I explained why I was returning and he had to see the shoes in the special purple color, then showed them to other sales people lol. Was great hearing I picked some awesome wedding shoes :) Even though I've never technically purchased anything in the actual store the same sales guy was so nice when I was looking for my first Prada. I felt bad not buying in store but hey discover offered extra 5% off buying online lol. The sales guy is who made me decide on the bag though despite not buying it right there. So did another woman when I picked out my future Christmas gift as she showed me the gorgeous givenchy bag :) I think it's great how helpful they can be even as you go home and order online lol.

this store has the absolute worst customer service! Time and time again they've gone above and beyoned to be comepletley UNaccomodating and rude. Even tbe supervisors are ill equipped to deal with customers. Worst store! Then they have the nerve to say "Can I help you with anything else?" Umm no because you haven't helped me with anything to begin with in the first place !

It started with a dream. Last night, I dreamt of the most beautiful woman in the universe. She remained faceless, but her aura chilled every bone in my body. She told me we would meet again, but that is would be contingent upon three simple tasks to be completed within 12 hours: 1.) I could open this jar of jam right now for her, as women have weak arms (it's one of the many defects of their kind). 2.) I devise a plan to aid her exiled brother in establishing a residence back into the kingdom with a new identity. 3.) I find a pair of Italian leather penny loafers suitable for her seduction. Naturally, I find my way to Barney's on 7th Ave. I find their selection to be adequate. I'm obviously not in the mood to dilly-dally, as the memory of this woman is fading by the hour. I had taken diligent notes on the dream after I woke up in a cold sweat at 3 am, but the human mind tends to deceive us more than the average layperson would like to admit. Upon entering the store, I am harassed by a couple of employees. "Hello, how are you", "Can I help you find anything today", etc. I am visibly irritated as I am in a rush. I ask them where they store their premium penny loafers. This saleswoman seemed perplexed. Not only did she not know where the premium penny loafers were stored, she asked why I was "drenched in sweat". The rage inside me had been brewing for about 45 seconds now, and I was very near erupting at this point. I slammed my hand on the display case next to us and made myself very clear. "I don't have much time. You are wasting the opportunity of a lifetime for me right now. Look deeply at your mundane life, realize that you have no purpose, understand that despite the small slight to your dignity every time you deal with a demanding customer, your existence on this planet is as valueless as knowing where you stock these products at Barney's. Adapt to the situation and find a way to help me." The weak saleswoman is now intimidated. She fetches the "manager" who demands I leave. At this point I have no penny loafers and six hours left. Update: I realize I shouldn't have taken the amount of Benadryl I did. I apologize to everyone involved.

Rebecca Shamtoob helped us with all of our shopping needs when looking for our new summer wardrobe. She was a doll to work with and very professional and has a great eye for style!

I bought this as a holiday gift from saks. Recipient had allergic reaction. Since I bought it in October past the 30 days they will not take it back , even though it was holiday gift and I have receipt . Everyone warned me that Saks has the worst costumer service of all the high end stores. I should have listened. I'm out over $85. Gift card won't due since I won't be shopping there again !!!!

Brittney from LV is the best! I have been searching for an item at Louis Vuitton for a little while now. I called multiple stores, customer service and tried to order this item online. Brittney is the only representative that took the time to help find my item and keep me in the loop on the stock of the item. As soon as it came in she set it aside for me and kept I contact with me from the moment I reached out to the moment I ordered the item! I bought a small wallet as a sweet sixteen gift and a "will you be my bridesmaid" proposal all in one! Brittney took the time to specially wrap my gift with a note in it for the birthday girl! She will be the happiest girl when she gets this gift and We are so happy to have had been helped by Brittney to make it all happen! I can't wait for the gift to arrive. Thank you again Brittney for your kindness and helpfulness!

I am an active Saks Fifth Ave card holder aardvark an active buyer of Louie Vuitton handbags. I live I in Wisconsin where there is no LV or Saks Fifth Ave store. I have made purchases in Paris, NY, Chicago, Florida, Las Vegas and Mn. My last purchase was in November in MN. I called the Downtown Chicago Saks to see if they had a certain style that I wanted sent out to me. The salesperson was kind and told me which stores in the country has the bag. My first call was to this location. I was told yes, they had the bag but could not ship it, I asked why- she stated that the store has had some thief's, but if I bought a LV bag in the last 6 mo she might be able to ship it. I told her that I'm a good customer of both LV and Saks and that I did make a purchase 2 months ago. The sales woman came back to the phone after she spoke to her manager, and told me that this bag is in high demand and they will not ship it. I hung up and called another Saks location; San Antonio, TX that possibly had the bag. The sales person, Lily was polite, kind and friendly, she shipped me the bag with out a problem. Thank you a Lily! Crazy- this whole experience with the NY location did not make any sense- the first salesperson had my account and she saw my purchases- her loss- I do believe she is on commission . I guess they will only ship the basic bags.

Shopped at Gucci- I have to say some places make you fell intimated but Terrence C. and their staff made me feel so welcome. What a lovely experience and thank you for helping me select the perfect belt! Would come back real soon : )

They have great options but everyone is incredibly rude. I bought a gift for my mother in Givenchy and no one would gift wrap it for me claiming they were "too busy." They literally handed me a piece of ribbon and told me to do it myself. This was all AFTER I waited for a good 5 minutes for someone to even be in the store to help me. I even went to a different department and explained my experience, but the lady told me she couldn't wrap it because she had to get something done before 11. Very disappointed in the customer service all around.

I've been a lotal customer for over 20 years. Recently, I purchased a cardigan from the Saks Fifth Avenue line for $238. I wore it once to a restaurant. Upon arriving home, I took it off and noticed a small hole in the seam where the arm meets the body. Then I noticed a GASH across the arm. I took it back about an hour ago and the manager told me there was nothing she could do, and basically dismissed me. I am at a loss for words that such an upscale store with a reputation to uphold would treat a long term customer so badly AND not stand behind their supposed "quality". Be assured, I will NEVER shop there again and I will relay my experience to all family and friends. Quite possibly, the worst shopping experience I've ever had.

I have previously done business with Saks at this location. My experience has always been good. Today however it wasn't good; it was phenomenal! The sales associate Aneeza Zaman went above and beyond to make sure my experience was exceptional. I bought a belt and a pair of shoes. She assisted to make sure I got the right items in a timely manner and of course in the right size. I highly recommend Aneeza Zaman in the men's clothing dept. She will assist in making sure you get the right items and take care of your wants and needs. A+, thanks for you help Aneeza!

I love shopping at Saks but not this location anymore. I went in looking for a belt, which I knew was sold out in store and online. But to make sure of my size before I sign up for the wait list online, I wanted to try one on in store and get measured properly. I was greeted nicely at first and the minute I said I was going to order online, the woman was so snappy and rude. She measured me quickly and kept saying I could be between one size and another. I was there for a total of not even 5 minutes and it was a horrible experience. I understand that it was a Monday and was probably slow, but she was so rude when she realized she wasn't going to make any commission off of me. Her nasty attitude made me want to never shop in that location again. I am officially becoming an online shopper when it comes to Saks.

My review is on the Women's Shoe Department only. Blame it on my double X chromosomes or my being Asian but I have a thing for designer shoes and Saks is among the few stores I check out when I'm on the market for a new pair. However, I will never again shop at this Saks location because, besides having a limited selection, the service in the Women's Shoe department is horrible. Actually, the worse I've ever experienced. I've been going to this location at least twice every quarter for the past 2 years and on each visit, like clockwork, the level of service in the Women's Department is either non-existent or leaves me feeling like they're doing me a favor. On my last visit, because I bought 2 of the same pair but in different sizes, I had to return a pair of shoes. It was around 7 PM and not busy but, for some reason, every single Women's Shoe salesperson was inside the alcove housing their cash registers. So I approached one of the alcoves and saw a woman counting something. This woman is Caucasian with long, curly dyed hair who looks to be in her 40's. I politely asked her for help with the return to which she nodded her head. I then took a few steps out of the alcove and stood next to my husband where we stood, without help or notice from her again, for over 3 minutes. I don't know what and how much she was counting but we shouldn't have been waiting, especially for that long. But sadly, this is the type and level of service at this department. In the end, another salesperson helped us. But had I come in dressed to the nines and approached them like a snobby b*tch, I wonder if I would've been treated better. Probably because they seem to "measure" their clientele's spending ability but I'm spending my money elsewhere.

The staff here is incredibly rude. If you need help buying anything do yourself a favor go anywhere but here. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen.

I bought a pair of $750 Christian Louboutin's and they gave me two different heels in the box, I tried to surprise my wife on our anniversary and she put the heels on and they were mismatched. When I went to bring them back they couldn't even give any discount the best they did was give me a coupon for $75 off my next $600 purchase and the coupon expired the next day (and I couldn't even use it on heels if I wanted to because heels are excluded from the discounts) . I am completely underwhelmed with their customer service.

My wife and I decided to take a trip to this store in place of going to NYC. We live in Atlantic Beach, NY and traveled by car approx. 35 minutes. The trip was pleasant and the store experience was exceptional to say the least. We can only rate the store, it's presentation and most off it's staff a 10+/10. We also had our 3 year old Maltese with us and the greeting given to her was outstanding by all. This speaks volumes. We were initially greeted and engaged by a personal store shopper, Terri who added to the positive experience. After making our purchases in various departments, we were escorted to the exit by Terri who gave us the pleasure of meeting Dan (store manager of operations) who further added to our already amazing experience and welcomed us back to the store at any time and stated he will always be available to us for any of our shopping needs. This location is by no means an alternative to the Saks location in the city. I wish they had a better shoe department for one. The layout is easy enough to navigate through but dressing rooms are plentiful. Parking is not an issue here and I have never seen this place ever packed.

Only for the shoe salon, I always order my shoes online now. The SA's there need to brighten up and take a lesson at customer service. Went in today looking for slides for the beach and I actually purposely went around the store maybe 3 laps just to see if anyone would help and NOT one associate asked if I needed help. I think I saw about at least 4-5 in there too. Thursday 2pm. Anyway, I'll get my shoes online but it's very unfortunate to have to think twice before walking into the store. Shoes make everyone happy.. sales associates at saks do not. happy shopping!

Being from the Buffalo, NY area we have no store like Saks so I was thrilled to see what it would be like. My daughter and I were shopping for dresses for a family out of state wedding. I was thrilled to find that there is a huge section on the upper floor that offers a very wide variety of dresses of all sizes and styles. I was especially impressed that there was a greeter at the top of the escalator that walked us right to a personal helper that took us to all areas of the department and assisted us with our search giving us her individual attention the entire time. She was very helpful, brought us whatever sizes we needed, offered alterations and even came into the fitting room to see if we needed any other sizes, etc. She was amazing! The prices were on the higher side, but for the quality and variety offered I thought it was worth the money. What an awesome experience! I absolutely LOVED, loved, loved this store!!

Horrible experience, I was scammed!!! I will NEVER return to this store or any other Saks !!! First off, the employees are VERY shady. They will email you and even text you, literally smuggling in FAKE name brand items!!! The rude women behind the counters denied this, claiming "Saks does not sell anything fake" - Not what I meant!! I told the girl that the purse I bought was a replica - IN WHICH IT WAS , I had to return it. They are using people through people to bring in replica items. My purchase had the tags RIPPED OFF of my purse i bought (and returned) and the tag for it had a different bag style name. In other words, doing much research, i realized i bought a replica purse. A man and woman who work there literally "hid" the purse for me before i bought it. HOW HORRIBLE AND AGAINST RULES!! BE CAREFUL !!!!

Terrible service in fur salon. Tried to get my coat out of storage and was told I should have called in advance even though it's now November. I made the request and was told it would be in 1 week. I rearranged my schedule so I could pick it up. It is still not in. They say it is a computer glitch. Hire some extra people to do it manually if you can't fix the computer.

Saks Fifth Avenue has good clothes, but horrible customer service, at least in my opinion. I've called many times, many hours before they closed and two hours later, also well before they closed. Both times I have been left on hold, and ended up hanging up the phone, with the conclusion that no one would pick up. This is what I think but if you are thinking of only entering the store I highly recommend, seeing that they have clothes in many price ranges. But if you need customer service over the phone, that's what I think needs improving.

I went here to buy a gift for my husband. The sales person was really nice and helped me find the right one. He asked me a lot of questions about what my husband likes to wear etc and recommended few options. I ended up choosing one and my husband loved it.

Horrible customer service. They need new employees and a larger men's section at that. They have little to no clothes for sale here. The salespeople, every single one of them in the many years I have been going here, are rude. Management obviously isn't very good at choosing the right people to represent this brand. Go to the city, you'll be much better off.

Great shoe and handbag selection. Contemporary fashions are pretty decent too and things go on sale often. My husband swears by their mens department and service all around is outstanding. The cafe is a great place for a quick lunch.

Nastiest sales women. From the minute I walked into the store I felt uncomfortable. Will never shop here again their management should really REALLY take a hard look at who they're hiring. The sales women should also take note that they don't own the store they simply WORK there.. so reall the attitude is less then necessary. It doesn't take much to be nice.

The worst customer service ever. Not worth it. Manhattan location significantly larger and better. Other stores, even Sears, has way better customer service. And I was inquiring about Gucci shoes and I still got ignored and spoken down to. Guess what: I bought the shoes at Saks in the city instead.

WELL IM SHOCKED..... i just made it back from saks and feel totally insulted today. so i went to saks to return an 800 dollar pair of shoes. i purchased these online and ordered my size.....when i received them they were too big. so i called saks and they told me to use the return label and i did. once returned i ordered another 1/2 size down and when those arrived they were still too big. so now i decided to go to a saks store and get some opinions. when i walked in i was greeted by a gentleman sales associate who helped me and seemed to be new. while explaining my issue to him another female sales associate was in the area and saw my return and explained that these specific shoes run large so i should order a size smaller. so far up to this point the sales help is as expected.as always and very helpful. while speaking to the gentleman sales associate the phone rang and he went to assist a caller to that department so while he was helping that person on the phone i started to speak to the female sales associate and explaining to her i never knew these shoes ran small and i told her ( i couldnt believe that shit ) meaning the sizing difference which i was surprised but no biggie as things happen and since it was an saks.com purchase only and not available in stores i was grateful for the help. it was not a second after i said that she says to me...EXCUSE ME.....there is a lady here. well i was caught totally off guard and despite i could agree if it were aimed at her i would understand but i was just aggravated that i didnt realize the sizing was much different. she was excessively rude and stared at me waiting for an apology which i was not about to give her since it was never directed at her in any way. needless to say it was i was in school in 2nd grade and i had to stand in the corner like a 6 yr old. needless to say i returned my shoes there but this was by far my worst experience since i have been going there ( about 3 yrs now ). will i go back...im not sure. hopefully she changes her attitude as im very reluctant to come back for more scolding. all of this and i bit my tongue and never said a word to her while she was scolding me. if i go back i will not hold my words back.....i hope they explain to her comments like that can be handled in a more appropriate way!!

This place to me is definitely a hit or miss. The sales people are either really friendly or really rude, and either very willing to help you or not at all. The last time I was here the sales associate who worked at the chanel counter was annoyed that I asked her a question, so I just kept to myself. She was looking me up and down and I know for a fact that she was thinking like oh what are you doing here. First of all saks isn't even the highest end retail store that's out there so the sales people really shouldn't be looking down upon their money paying customers. Anyway I ended up spending $400 there and the sales associate wanted to check my drivers license for a debit card transaction!!! My word of advice to the sales associates here,,,don't make customers feel uncomfortable and like they're unworthy or doing something wrong.. Especially when we're the ones contributing to your commission!

This is about the Creed perfume section. I had received abottle of perfume from my brother that did not wear well on me. I didn't have the receipt on me but my brother told the girl he purchased this product from that I was going to be in to pick a scent that worked on me. She said this was fine and would help me. So, I came in the day after Christmas because I felt the sooner the better. So, after battling the parking lot and finding a spot a mile away, I make it to the perfume department and meet the woman who sold my brother the perfume. She said she remembered him and knew I would be in. So, after being sprayed withseveral differnt scents and becoming very overwhelmed, my allocated amount of time has long run out. So, I ask if she can maybe give me a few samples, issue me a store credit and we would pick this up again next week, so I can really think about the scents, have more time to spend and it is less crowded. She kindly agrees. In addition, I have another return with a cash receipt. So, she processes this return and gives me a store credit for a cash purchase that was made just made 4 days prior. She then proceeds to try to issue me a store credit for 25% less than what mybrother paid for the bottle of perfume. I told her this is silly and she said that when the perfume is returned without a receipt, they typicallycredit for $100.00 less!!!!!! I asked her how this iseven possible when she justgot done telling me that they never discount Creed perfumes and that in fact, the price goes up every year!!!!! In addition, she remembered my brother and selling him the perfume and even told him to send me in!!!! So, let's recap they issued me a store credit on a return that I made WITH a receipt and then wanted to give me $100.00 less on an exchange for a product they remembered selling to my family. Hmmmmm not a good business practice!!!!!

I went into this store to purchase a burberry mens belt. Having had a long day I went in dressed casual. upon entering the store I was not greeted after finally getting the attention of a sales person to unlock the belts, I was denied being able to try it on never the less even hold it. I was told a lie that customers were not allowed to handle locked merchandise despite being there numerous times and trying things on ect.. As the time came to pay I was asked if I was sure I wanted to purchase the belt because it was a lot of money....well when I got home I went to try it on and he had given me the wrong size. When I went back the next day to exchange it the manager that was on seemed to not care at all....It doesn't matter if I am spending $200 or $2,000; I expect to be treated with respect just like any other customer. I like many other customers, deserve to be treated with respect even though I may look young. After finally getting them to exchange the belt for my size I was given nasty looks my way out the door. That is the last time I will shop there and they have lost my business!!
