I ordered a Bottega Veneta bag from the Saks OFF 5TH website and was so excited to receive it. I waited patiently, expecting a high-quality designer item, but when it arrived, I was extremely disappointed. The bag smelled strongly of chemicals, not like real leather. Some parts felt hard and cheap, and it didn’t have the shine or quality shown on the original website photos. The bag came in a plastic bag, and the dust bag inside was wrinkled and looked old, as if it had been used multiple times. A small paper booklet in different languages was also included, covered in a plastic bag that looked dirty and had cloth fibers stuck to it. I could not find any serial or authenticity number inside. Comparing the item to the original listing, it looks completely different. I can’t believe a website selling such expensive designer items would allow fake bags to be shipped. I will never shop here again. Truly unbelievable.

The news reported that the store will soon be closing. I still remember coming here a few years ago to buy clothes for my father, so it’s truly a shame to see it shutting down. I came to shop again before the end of the year.

They sell fake things. Roberto Cavalli Backpack was broken few days after purchase Manager had an attitude, and it seems to me that it was either my race or she was simply homophobic. She didn’t accept return, she didn’t tell me her name, she was not customer service oriented in any way. I do not recommend this store and I’ll definitely post online on my instagram account. I purchased something from the store, and in less than 24 hours I found it online for much cheaper than what I paid. Be careful when you shop—they mislead you about the prices. The customer service was very bad. The two women working there pretended to be managers, and they didn’t care at all. They kept repeating “Don’t yell, you’re yelling,” while they were the ones making jokes instead of helping. Now I understand why this store is closing. I used to shop at Saks Off Fifth a lot, but after the experience I had with those two women, I will never go back to any Saks Off Fifth location.

This store is closing on December 31, and they stopped accepting returns after December 3. But guess what? No sign anywhere—not at the door, not downstairs, not at the start of the line. I waited in line for over 30 minutes, only to finally see a tiny, nearly invisible note at the register. This is insane. Wasting half an hour of someone’s time like this is disrespectful, lazy, and completely unacceptable. Management clearly doesn’t give a damn about customers. Avoid this place unless you want to be lied to and treated like an idiot.

No matter what, when.... you will always, find a rare find here. You better purchase it, because it will not be there when you come back. Don't pass up, the bargains. Staff are always super professional and helpful. ONCE, there was a heavy set, Manager that was extremely rude. Hopefully here weight, mood changed. No one deserves to be mistreated.

This store has a decent selection of merchandise at reasonable prices, but I had an unpleasant experience with the staff. While I was browsing the store, I walked toward the women’s clothing section. Unprompted, an employee standing nearby said that it’s only women’s clothing in that area. I continued walking, and she said in a loud, rude tone “I said there’s only women’s clothing over there.” This was totally uncalled for and inappropriate. Shoppers should be allowed to browse the entire store regardless of gender. Why does she assume I’m shopping for myself? Perhaps I’m shopping for someone else? No matter the situation, why does she care? This type of judgment by retail employees is intolerable.

Everything is good here but only the prices too expensive. I saw other similar products like sweatshirts and pants in another retailer that are sold lower, such as in Macy's, and JcPenneys. I did not go to this store; I ordered online only because this store "nearest" my home in Ridgewood, NY is too far to go to shop in person, so that I can avoid any trouble that are caused by delivery service. I have also got my Saks store credit card and somehow I could not get the points instantly that made me called the company of what's going on with my rewards. Then as a result, I finally received it after three weeks after my online purchase with my Saks card.

Hey Saks OFF FIFth, Shame on you for not allowing me to return a SECOND pair of 14K gold earrings with a broken catch, that fell off when you put them on. Lost the first pair--thought it was my fault--ordered another and didn't Put them on until after your 30-day return closed. AS SOON AS I PUT THEM ON, THEY FELL OFF. Now realize both pairs were faulty. DO NOT BUY FROM SAKS OFF FIFTH.

Saks OFF 5th is a sister brand of Saks 5th Ave and it offers discounted designer items at affordable prices. The customer service was great. Quality was okay and not worth the prices because over 90% of their items are 100% polyester and polyester materials are considered cheap so even at discounted prices, they're still overpriced. I haven't come across any 100% cotton, linen, or wool pieces.

I ordered a few dresses online. They looked pretty but when I got them they were not built for my size. Think you need to be at least 5'7 to wear their dresses. Anyway...packaged them right back up and sent them back. They received the order 10 days ago so I called to ask why I haven't received my refund. To which they said I need to wait at least 30 days. That's just ridiculous. So many other options out there to shop from, I will not shop from here again.

I made sure it was opened on the website. When I got there, all of the doors were locked. Shopping here is terrible. And they have misinformation and no signage.

I stopped in today knowing I'd leave with nice shoes and some cool guy suit situation but I knew wrong. The place was void of any flowing air and was quite hot and stagnant. I don't think their prices are great at all, I don't think anything they had was very nice either annnnnnd the place was sort of like a messy thrift store almost; I got an $90 pair of jeans, an $80 pair of dressier pants, and a Penguin Dress shirt for another $40... not thrilled to spend that much on this much but c'est la vie.

I ordered Gucci sunglasses from them and another pair of sunglasses . The other pair but the Gucci sunglasses the carrier left them in my front yard not on my porch and the package was stolen

Feels like a Marshall's. They keep their ugly sunglasses under lock and key -- what for? Seriously these things have no value. Overall, it's pathetic and they are severely understaffed too, the result is a poor shopping experience where you leave with nothing.

This place is awful. I was charged for two items and I only received one. Saks Off Fifth didn't refunded me for the one I never received. I showed them the invoice both in person and online and I've been waiting a month for a refund for an item I paid for, but was never sent. That would be called robbery. I have sent countless emails I have made countless phone calls and even have gone to the E. 57th St. outlet and nothing. This used to be a great organization not anymore. Do NOT shop here. Don't, even suggest this place to your friends, family and associates. Do NOT shop here. You will get burn liked they burned me, the next time it WILL be you. Don't shop with this company . I placed the order as a gift. I didn't receive complete prefer but it was mark as all item was delivered and they put the paperwork in the package like all items weee inside . That is a scam. I called customer service and report the issue I was not offered to send missing items or refund for it. I was told to place another order and pay more money . Don't let them to scam you .

Bought a bottle of Creed Aventus cologne as a gift for my husband, his favorite to replace one running low. He goes to finally use it and it's been switched with some awful old man scent! It's as good as trash. Saks wouldn't return or even offer a discount on a new one since it's outside of their ridiculous return policy. Buy from literally anywhere else! They're out here selling fake products and charging people $400+.

Terrible costumer service / lost package / no money back I ordered few items one of them marked delivered and it wasn't I called the day I received the package and the item was a gift so I placed an order for another item and paid with the representative who promised to issue a refund for the lost item / that never happened and no money back / they said that there is a team to review the case they never looked at anything ! Just terrible experience ! and now I have an item in the mail that they don't know where is it still waiting / really the worst

They send empty boxes. I ordered 3 item, they send me only one in the box, saying all 3 were there! i submitted a claim and they said that they will not refund me with no options for further communication.

I ordered several dresses from Saks for my daughter's wedding which will take place at the end of June. For varies reasons none of the dresses worked for me and were promptly returned. I received a refund on all of the dresses except for one. A value of approximately $5000. I was assured during the first few phone calls that it was a mistake on their end and that I would be refunded. However, the dress was returned to me. Again, I spoke with customer service and even showed them closeup pictures of the dress - no stains. I was told they would send another shipping label for a return. Imagine my outrage to open my email and find that they have decided not to send me another label. Warning: Do not shop on line with Saks. You can not trust that they will refund a return as promised. 1 star for the in store gentleman in Boston that tried to offer help.

I visited Saks Fifth Ave on Fifth Ave in NYC three times this past winter to try on a pair of boots I was madly in love with, but the price was insane. So imagine my thrill when I discovered them months later on the Saks Off Fifth website, and there was one pair left in my size, at 60% off. Score! Took a week, but the Fed Ex delivery was smooth. No problems there. Sadly, the usually-gorgeous designer shoe box, which I was looking forward to owning, arrived crushed, ripped, without the logo tissue, VERY badly water-stained, possibly moldy, and with a label listing a different size. Fortunately, the boots emerged looking good, so five stars for the boots! And while it did take three attempts to get customer service on the line, when I finally did, and I was able to show them photos of the Frankenstein box, they gave me a nice credit to make up for it.

Oh how quickly one stupid policy make your favorites fall. I bought a pair of pants that were the size was labeled wrong. No, it wasn't too small but rather too big. A defective product and they make me stand in this line to return it and again to rebuy it. Well I'm not too sure I'll stand here again to rebuy yet!

I have purchased a Canali 2 piece wool suit size 54R in color Turquoise in the amount of $797.99 (with taxes total is $831.71) on 2/21/2023 on saksofffifth.com. On 2/25/2023, a package from Saksofffifth.com was delivered. However, it was immediately noticed that the suit received does not match what was ordered. I ordered a turquoise color Canali suit (see image attached), what was received was a brown color suit with an inside tag reads "Joseph Aboud Nordstrom"(see image attached). The perplexing part is on the sleeve there is a half-attached Canali tag. I contacted customer service immediately and requested a return. I was a return shipping label same day. I returned the incorrect merchandise right away via the provided shipping label. After a few days, to my surprise, the same box came back at my residence with a letter stating that the return was rejected. I called Saksofffifth customer service again and explained the whole situation. They informed me that they will send the courier to pick up the box again and they were sorry for the inconvenience. I left the box outside my residence and it was picked up next day by the courier sent by Saksofffifth. To my surprise again, the same box arrived back at my residence after a few days! The same return rejection letter was put in the box. I made at least 5 attempts to speak to customer service afterwards to resolve by phone and sent the agents email to follow up on 3/23/23,3/31/23 and 5/10/23. Finally, On 6/20, I received the following email from Saksofffifth customer service refusing to acknowledge their mistake and refuse to issue a refund. Now i'm stuck with a wrong suit (wrong size&brand) than what was ordered and feel I was completely defrauded by Saksofffifth.com. "Truly apologize for not responding to you sooner. Based on the update I was given, an extensive investigation was done concerning this matter and they concluded that the correct item was picked, packaged and sent to you. There is no record of the suit that you sent us in our system and on this basis your claim was denied and no refund will be processed. The item will be resent to you. I understand that this was not the result you were expecting but all areas were checked and confirmed. No other action will be taken. Truly sorry for the inconvenience and the length of time of the investigations. If there is anything else we can assist you with please let us know. Regards, Kenesha P Team Lead"

​SAKS refuses to credit $164 for my package. I never received it during the Christmas holiday. T-Force left my package in the lobby of my building. My package was never delivered to my apartment. I guess SAKS has a policy with Tforce as long as you deliver the package. You can leave the package anywhere.

Saks off fifth on the website is horrible my package was never delivered. They don't want to to refund me back they don't even take 3-7 business days to do a investigation they took one day and when I refilled 7 hours they denied my refund. Never shop with them ! They aren't here to serve their customers and don't want to take liability for a package that was never given to me.

I placed an order, $225 earrings as a Christmas gift for my mom on Dec 2nd. Until today, Jan 11th , when you go to track the order it shows that the goods never shipped. As soon as I saw that my purchase was not moving and Christmas was getting closer I put in a claim to get my refund. Well I keep getting told that this is being 'looked into' and I need to allow 10 days, the 10 days passed so I called again, and again and again and still no refund. This is very frustrating as I it is clear as day that my purchase never left the shipper. Let me repeat, my purchase never left the shipping facility and the tracking number proves that ver clearly. So now Saks off fifth why are you holding my money for a month and 9 days ? Why do you think it's ok to rob your customers ? This is not ok!!

I was trying to buy a suit for a wedding about a month off. The first suit I ordered was cancelled by saks about a week after because even though it was available online it wasn't actually in stock. I figured I'd give it another chance. Ordered another suit and this one did get delivered however when I put it on to have it altered we figured out that while the jacket and pants were the correct size, the vest was actually 4 sizes bigger than the rest of the "set" that I ordered. When I reached out to Saks about this issue they said my only option was to keep it all, or send it all back. There was no way they could return or exchange their mistake without the whole "set". Even though I am quite sure I don't have enough time to send this suit back, get a new one and then have it altered before the wedding, I entertained their idea. When I asked what reparations could be made for all this inconvenience, they told me that they could help me find something similar and that they would match the same 5% off discount that I got with the mistake suit and expedite any shipping needed. I got sent to a manager and still they could do nothing. This store has no accountability, online or in the facility obviously and don't care to try and fix their own mistakes even when they're recurring for basically the same purchase. I'd recommend you try something else!!!!

They use a 3rd party shipper who opens boxes and removes contents and they will not back this up and make it right. I ordered the Elena Leather Stiletto booties from saksoff5th.com in late September. I wore them inside at my job, for 3 hours a day, 2-3 times per week. November 9th rolls around, I wear them outside for the first time, and I'd walked maybe a block before the heel started to detach from the upper. To add insult to what could've been a literal injury, Saks Off Fifth refused to give me a store credit, saying I'd already worn them and I'd purchased them over 30 days ago. It's bad business to sell customers a defective pair of shoes that break less than six weeks after purchase, and not offer them an adequate refund. Also, a manager put in a request for me to get a 20% refund on those shoes. The request was denied. Another manager submitted a request for a 15% off refund. Let's see how that goes. Not that a 15%-20% refund would put a dent in the $35 I spent repairing the shoes. A week ago, I tried to leave a review on these shoes on SaksOff5th.com (a one-star review with similar wording to this one I'm leaving on Yelp), and they haven't published it. I wonder if they're trying to silence me for calling them out on their bad behavior? Poor quality product + poorer customer service=never shopping at Saks Off 5th again.

This is the worst company I've ever shopped with in my life. They didn't send me an item out of three items. They insisted it was sent. One supervisor told me it was sent in 2 packages. Another 3 supervisor said it was sent in 1 package. I showed proof that 15 minutes earlier nordstroms rack sent me 2 packages and they only sent 1. They still refused to believe it was not sent and said it was against company ' guidelines' to reimburse me. They also said if you return anything to them it's counted against you. I barely shop with them. I'm now stuck donating 160 dollars for a sweater never received. STAY AWAY FRON SALS OFF FIFTH

Avoid the this company! They are a fraud! I ordered three items and I only received two items but they charged me for three items! When I filed a complaint with the company, they conducted a sham investigation and denied my claim! They stole my money without giving me a product!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Bought a Versace watch for $700 as a birthday gift for my boyfriend online at SaksOFF5TH and it was delivered by CDL Delivery. I was never notified by the delivery (no text, email, call, doorbell ring, NOTHING) and the package was left outside in the street by the apartment door with no notification. The estimated delivery date was 5/16/2024 but ended up being delivered on 5/13/2024 while I was in class. The package OF COURSE got stolen and after several frustrating messages of going back and forth with them, they refused to give me a refund because it was "delivered" and had a picture of proof of delivery. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY/THINGS STOLEN. This was such a waste of time and money.

I wish you could write a ZERO STARS review on Yelp! Awful. Horrendous shopping experience. I made an online purchase. Didn't get an emailed confirmation of the purchase. Tried to contact customer support. NON-EXISTENT. The only way to get through to them was on Facebook. FACEBOOK? They told me they were having problems with their system. The emailed confirmation took over 24 hours. Of course, taking my money was instantaneous. A week later, I got TWO emails with saying my item had been delivered. Only, IT HADN'T. I live in a 24 hour doorman building. The item was not with the doorman or in the mailbox. Back to Facebook! I was told they could not track my package and would refund my money. The purchase was for a very important, special gift. I was left scrambling. By the way, it's now been a few days... STILL waiting on the refund. I looked it up- this company gets an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau and similar ratings across the board from online review sites - mostly because of their customer service. Be warned. Stay away. Spend your money elsewhere.

Worst customer service. I ordered some items from them and as per tracking it stated as delivered, but I never received them. After contacting customer service multiple times they would just open a case and deny refund the next day stating they did a "thorough" review. If they were to contact a shipper to actually do a review it would take more than a day to complete. I have been a layal customer for many years and never filed any claims, but after this I will never be shopping with them again.

Zero stars I order two watches and a wrap scarf from their Black Friday sale. I was told it would be delivered on the 26th of November. It was delivered but not to my apartment. I called and spoke to one of their customers services rep who put in a claim for me. I even provided pictures of my apartment. Before I filed the claim I reach out to the delivery vendor that they used and had them send me a photo of where my items was delivered. Before I called T Force i went down to my mailroom and even spoke to my neighbors and there was no package. I filed a claim and email saks with photos that I will attach in this review. As per the claims department my items was delivered when I spoke to the many customer service reps they agreed that the items was not delivered to me. Here's the pictures as proof. Don't bother. Overpriced and old clothing and shoes. bags sold by LXR consignment and are all old and ratty, or new but not classic styles. Racks upon racks of clearance but the clothes are stretched out, shredded, stained, old. I shopped for seriously two hours bc the weather was bad and I had time; and came out with two tops that I could have passed on but I didn't want my time to be for nothing.

I ordered 2 pairs of $100 jeans but only received one. I reported the missing item as soon as I received my package. Have had my "claim" denied twice based on their "investigation" that the merchandise in question is not in their warehouse and my package was delivered. I don't know if they are dealing with internal theft, but DO NOT SHOP here. I have been a very good customer, but never again. Their customer service is outsourced, foolish and incompetent.

The low scoring reviews seemed to be mostly about online returns. I shopped in person at this location a few weeks ago and had a great experience. The store was very busy, but the sales associate took the time to answer all my questions and patiently waited for me as I tried on different rings. She helped me apply for the certificate of authenticity and made sure I knew the service options with the jewelry brand. I'm looking forward to shopping here again.

I never received my package. In my order history it stated 1/25/24. I called several times and was told that the package is ready for pick up at my PO box on Saturday. Call back today the package was returned due to the company didn't label my package correct. Now I have to wait 15 business days for my refund the company doesn't even have tracking number

Horrible experience shopping online here. Purchased fine jewelry, never arrived. Customer service, very difficult and resolution to their advantage. Never attempted to re ship item and immediately offered refund. So very disappointing coming from Saks. Never again.

Be more specific on returned items, Iam single hard worked mother and it cost me a lot to order this bag, it's an uncomfortable shoulder bag, I asked for an exchange and it was just not, no follow up or anything, this policy make good clients feel like scammers, maybe because we are not rich, I know this would not be a issue if I would be a celebrity or famous people who can actually share this horrible experience, now I'm stock with a bag that can't use because is not convenient and comfortable, also I can't get one I like because I lose my money, this store is not for low income class this is for people who can't spend and spend with not issue and they take care of the complaint with not problem. Returned a number of items after accidentally ordering the wrong size online. Ordered the correct sized pieces in a separate order since no one picked up in customer service that day and the next day was apparently too late to fix the order. Sent back incorrect pieces and 2 of the items that had been tried on, folded nicely and placed back in the plastic bag it arrived in were "never scanned" by the Returns Department. 3 months and 6-7 calls later, I have still not been refunded for those 2 "missing items" that clearly someone in the Returns Department failed to scan or swiped for themselves. Good luck trying to speak with a Supervisor, all representatives will tell you it's a very long wait and when they do finally connect you 30 minutes after being placed on hold, the Supervisor will apologize profusely and make promises that are later denied via email. Save your time, money and sanity and shop elsewhere. I definitely will.

I needed work clothes and planned to have a whole day of shopping. I came here first on a whim and planned to go to Abercrombie, Zara, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Rack, etc. I ended up finding so many things here! It's no frills as far as the store itself + dressing rooms, but they have so much sale product and nice brands like Joie and Equipment, but make sure you check for any flaws. You can find lots of gems here and it's not like you have to search through every single item to find anything good. I was in and out in about an hour and got 11 items. The customer service is perfectly fine!! I can't believe this was my first time here I can't wait to go back.

I ordered tennis shoes, plain white tennis shoe. They came and had scuffs and blue ink all over 1 shoe. I sent pictures into customer service asking for a refund or a deep discount to keep and try using white shoe polish since they didnt have anymore in my size to exchange. They offered me 10% off.. What a joke, even the box was cut in half. This was something I would expect off a clearance rack for $30.00 not $100.00. its ok shopping at saks off 5th and the manhattan lexington ave location is part of that ok. mens, ladies , clothing , footware, acessories ,etc , at discounted prices but its usually outdated , out of style, no longer available or items that did not sell much at the main saks location. its hit or miss when finding something and not all sizes or styles , brands you are looking for are available and some of the clothing are hideous in my opinion. i did find a pair of casual slip ons from italy for 60 bucks that are comfy and lite on the feet and also a pullover thats not bulking at all. like the said before you might find something or you might not but for the price its worth the gamble. thumbs up for the employees who keep the place organized and clean and checkout is a breeze .overall saks off 5th ave is worth a visit.
