Every time I come back to Curaçao, there’s one place I have to visit—Sal. No trip feels complete without a meal there. What always draws me in is the incredible depth of flavor in everything they serve. The attention to detail is what truly sets Sal apart. From the thoughtful presentation to the way every bite feels intentional and crafted with love.
One dish that stands out for me every time is the Paella Socarrat. They’ve elevated it in such a unique way, wrapping it in a crispy outer layer so you can fully enjoy those prized crispy bits you get at the bottom of a well-cooked paella. It’s that kind of creativity and respect for flavor and tradition that makes Sal unforgettable.
The staff are warm and welcoming, the ambiance is intimate yet lively, and every visit feels like coming home to something special.
Sal is my go-to, my constant, my Curaçao favorite. If you’re visiting the island, don’t miss it. Trust me, it’s unforgettable.
