"Sala & Betty was a casual New American restaurant opened by Teresa Wilson in 2015. The restaurant closed in July as Wilson wanted to retire. Her social media post noted that something new would open in the space, but it wouldn't come from her family." - Nadia Chaudhury

"For burgers: I’ve been hearing that Sala and Betty is a neighborhood gem for a while and now, as of last weekend, I can definitely confirm this is true. I added a fried egg and avocado to make the perfect summer burger, a giant two-hander which came with a soft, buttery bun, juicy beef, and fries that are definitely in the running for the city’s best and crispiest. The veggies were super fresh, too — snappy butter lettuce and a deep red tomato that tasted fresh off the vine. Order online for drive-thru pickup, the restaurant is also open for dine-in service." - Erin Russell

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice with seating inside or outside. We sat outside next to the garden while oldies music played. The food was good and unique, although they were out of several items.

Our first time here and we were very impressed. It’s not fast food, although they have a drive thru. It’s great fresh tasting food and friendly service. Dining inside or out. We are about 40 minutes from home and happened to be in the area but we just might come back just to eat here.

This was my first visit and I definitely will back. The place by itself is well designed and cool. Plus the food quality was above beyond. I ordered a shrimp Po boy and it was great. The shrimp was well marinated and cooked and came along with fries.

The Mister finally chose a restaurant where we actually both enjoyed! Shocker! haha he did good for once. We came here for Monday brunch, it was quite close proximity to where we were staying. 5 mins drive! The place was cute and very cozy as we were walking in. Nice and toasty since it was extremely chilly and windy that day. A gentleman greeted us and sat us down within minutes. And our waitress took our orders swiftly. I got the Geraldine with queso fries while he ordered the Mister T. Both dish did not disappoint. Very tasty for both. The Mister T sandwich was very crusty and extra crispy with the fries inside. The wagyu was slightly cooked too well done for my taste but nonetheless good overall. His salad was kinda lifeless but not bad. Too much greens for me. Haha but oh my, The Geraldine was huge! Literally one of the juiciest chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. They didn’t overkill my chicken. Very moist and tasty. Loved the bacon strips on it. I wish they had used lettuce instead of spring mix. It was just so messy to eat with leave falling everywhere. The queso fries were savory and delish. Extra crispy fries and bacon drenched in queso? Definitely can’t go wrong with that! Overall, food was great. Service was amazing. Everyone checked up on us and our dining experience went smoothly. In n out within a hour. Nice brunch to a lovely start of our Monday! Would definitely come back the next time I’m in town to visit!

I am obsessed with the Betty sandwich. I've tried a few other dishes and they are delicious as well (the salmon burger, the frenchie burger, the Sala sandwich....) but the Betty is my all-time favorite. I love coming to this spot for lunch, it's a lovely environment with friendly staff who are proud of their restaurant. They love their customers and want to make sure you have a great experience every time. Bring your co-workers, a date, great for anything. Sometimes I'll call ahead and pick up in their drive thru. Super convenient and can't say enough good things about this place. They are frequently packed now when I go and I still get the same excellent service and food. Support this local business!

The Betty was so delicious and beyond expectation! My friend was very happy with the Wilson chicken sandwich. The tortilla chips were house made and very tasty as well. Even the side salad was yummy! Highly recommend!

Cute little place. Great tasting burgers and fries are really crispy. I'd like to give it more stars but the service is s.l.o.w.! The bleu cheese aioli is very runny and lacks any real flavor. I expect it to stick to the fries, not run off. We like to try new places and we did. We will not be back.

Walking into this place it's surprised me how modern and semi upscale with a drive-thru. There was a great crowd and the environment was very relaxed and customer service was amazing and keeping up with everything. As I tried the fried shrimp it surprised me how fresh it was as a lot of these dishes from reading or using great quality products while tasting my appetizer I could already see the steam coming from my dish and the coleslaw really complimented this dish. Trying my S & B PORK DIP I was surprised if anyone ever needed to dip the sandwich everybody I took retained the juice and the grease and kept the meat tender and juicy with the greens really adding more moisture and the seasoning to stay in there every bite was delicious for me while the fries very light salt, each bite I was thinking to myself they were crispy like chips and light I felt like I could eat more fries the way they were so light. Wonderful first experience and I know there's so many more dishes on the menu that has to be tried.
