Sala de Despecho Barsecco

I’ve been to Sala de Despecho several times and I’ve always loved the energy, music, and overall ambience. The vibe is honestly the best part of the place. However, my most recent experience was disappointing, especially considering how expensive the night ended up being. First, we waited about 45 minutes at our table without any service. When you reserve a table here, it’s already understood that bottle service is required. Our bottle never came, and the waitress never came around to ask if we needed anything. When I finally asked about it, she said “Oh yeah, they told me you were getting a bottle.” If that was already known, I’m not sure why no one checked on the table or brought it out sooner. Second, the bottle policy feels very forced. Our party had 12 people and we were required to get two bottles (about 5 people per bottle). The issue is that not everyone in our group even drank alcohol, so being forced to purchase bottles regardless didn’t make much sense. We were already planning to order drinks and spend money, but this policy essentially doubles the bill even when not everyone is drinking. Another issue is space and seating. The venue is extremely small and they don’t really accommodate groups with enough chairs or comfortable space, which makes it difficult for larger parties. By the end of the night our bill was around $1500, with gratuity already included, yet the service didn’t reflect that level of spending. Like I said, the music, energy, and atmosphere are great, which is why I’ve gone multiple times. But after this last experience, the service and policies make it hard to justify coming back.

Sala de Despecho at Brickell is a place to go enjoy greatest hits latin music from the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. It’s a place to enjoy and have fund with friends. I suggest to make a reservation and ask for a nice table location. Bottle service will be required. Expect delays in the service since it is crowded, but as long as you’re patient, the server will be nice lol. I don’t recommend to order food; it’s a party bar, not a restaurant.

Sala de Despecho Brickell was amazing! We were seated immediately and the service was incredible, we didn’t even have to ask for anything, everything was brought to us right away. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere was super fun with great music, making it a really enjoyable experience. Definitely worth it, especially compared to the Wynwood location, where the service was terrible. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration. We made an online reservation that guaranteed a table for 10 people. When we arrived, the manager, Santiago Gonzalez, told us the only way to honor that reservation was to agree to a $600 minimum spend something that was never disclosed anywhere during the booking process. This wasn’t about the money. We likely would have spent that or more. What made this unacceptable was the lack of transparency and, more importantly, the rude and dismissive attitude we were met with when questioning it. Being blindsided and spoken to that way completely ruined what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. If there is a minimum spend requirement, it needs to be clearly stated before customers arrive, not sprung on them after they’ve shown up with a full party. Poor communication, poor management, and a total lack of professionalism. Will not be returning.

We were never told this when making the reservation, worst of all the manager i believe his name was Santiago was very rude, when we finally agreed to purchase a bottle in order to get our table, he took us to the worst table possible (next to the entrance) even though there were plenty empty tables and when we asked for a chair to be changed his response was without care. We asked for a table top with high chairs and asked if we could get a 4th chair and he doesn’t care that one person would have to stay standing. I am telling you worst experience ever do not waste your time going to this place.

Scam, they tell you absolutely nowhere that you have to pay $300 for a bottle to sit at a table. also when we showed up the place was dead because obviously no one was gonna pay $300 for a bottle at a dead karaoke. scam!

I honestly love this place with all my heart, but the service is beyond TERRIBLE. And it’s not just once — it’s every single night. The Colombian girl on the phone, the hostess, the Cuban girl at the bar, and another Colombian girl who always serves you with the same rude face. Zero customer service, zero respect. It’s sad because the place deserves better, but the staff ruins the whole experience.

We arrived on time with a “reservation confirmed”The host told us, he had bad news and they had no table for us. BUT suddenly , he could find us a table if we were willing to pay 2 bottles at 300 usd each or a tequila clase azul bottle at 600 $ hahahahah that was a joke! Such a nerve! O sea, es la primera vez que me encuentro con una situación así en Miami!!! Nothing good to share from this place. It was all bad!! Then, during the night , more deception… the musical selection was poor and it was lacking fun, including the DJ. Las chicas estaban desilusionadas. I do not understand how the owner is aware of all of this and yet everything remains the same with no room for improvement. We are not coming back, hell no!!!

Very fun with friends! If you want to seat you will need to reserve a table and pay for the alchohol/drink package minimal consumption. Otherwise you stand , dance and sign and pay for drinks at the bar .

Fun! But tight space. We got a table and people were on top of us. Food was good and service solid for being so crowded.

Es literalmente una estafa. No pierdan su tiempo. Todo lo que ven en redes sociales es falso. Van a tener que gastar más de 400 dólares para estar sentados y cantar con un microfono falso jajaja no gracias

The worst place!! I went with my son, they let is in and after we said we were going to get a 3000 (in pesos) bottle they said my son had to change or pay 700 pesos to wear pants. Mind that this is a beach Town. They are horrible and treat you based on how you look and not Human decency. As a Mexican American it is a disgrace to experience such horrible moment. I have been to the sala de despecho in Miami and we had zero issues! The class and ambiance beats this horrible place. Its so sad to think places are based on social class and not human vulue I leave a picture of someone entering with shorts as we are leaving.

Don't waste your time going to this place. They make you buy 2 bottles of alcohol for every four people. They don't inform of this when you make the reservation. Bad food, bad service bad everything .
