Where To Take Your Friend Who Just Got Dumped - Miami - The Infatuation

"Whoever created the concept behind Sala De Despecho must have just gotten their heart smashed into a quintillion pieces. This place exists for the sole purpose of getting over a breakup. From Wednesday to Saturday (starting at 7pm), the Wynwood Mexican restaurant turns into a massive sing-along dedicated exclusively to rancheras, boleros, and Latin hits that speak to anyone who’s ever been dumped, ghosted, or just longed for a “good morning” text. The experience is like group therapy—only way more exciting because sparklers, bottle service, and juicy tacos al pastor are involved. Oddly enough, this isn’t the only place to engage in heartbreak taco karaoke (that’s what we’re calling it). You can do the same at Hacienda Ramirez Cruz, but Sala is more fun." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

The Most Fun Dinner Spots In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"From Wednesday to Saturday (starting at 7pm) this Wynwood taco spot turns into a massive sing-along dedicated exclusively to rancheras, boleros, and all Latin breakup anthems. The mics aren’t actually plugged in, so consider it karaoke group therapy with a side of tacos al pastor. The catch is, there is a food and beverage minimum that changes depending on how busy they get. When we went, it was $75 per person. Either way, it’s worth it for a cathartic Selena sing-off with the person across from you who just ended a seven-year relationship. This place gets especially crowded from Thursday to Saturday, so make a reservation." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

Ranking The Absurd Amount Of Taquerias In Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"Yes, we know we gave this spot a higher rating than The Taco Stand. That’s not because the tacos are better, but because Sala De Despecho (the nocturnal alter ego of Tacos Atarantados) is so much fun. Still, the tacos here are impressive. Especially the stuff that comes off the trompos. No other taco spot in Wynwood is slicing their trompos with the same precision, so you get the crispy bits every time. They also have a dessert taco with caramel and cheese, which sounds like a terrible idea until you try it." - mariana trabanino

Google
An unforgettable experience! My friends and I had one of the most fun nights in a long time. Yes, to get a table you have to buy a bottle of some alcoholic beverage for no less than $ 280, but in the end, we ended up spending very similar to what we would have on any other outing. We included a charcuterie board to share that was super yummy. The service was excellent, and a special thanks to the guy who greeted us at the door, who was extremely patient with all our questions and requests. The atmosphere was a TEN. One of the best atmospheres I've experienced here in Miami. We'll definitely be back!

Google
Tal como hemos leído en los Reviews… una estafa disfrazada de “experiencia exclusiva”, big scam! We arrived on time with a “reservation confirmed”The host told us, he had bad news and they had no table for us. BUT suddenly , he could find us a table if we were willing to pay 2 bottles at 300 usd each or a tequila clase azul bottle at 600 $ hahahahah that was a joke! Such a nerve! O sea, es la primera vez que me encuentro con una situación así en Miami!!! Nothing good to share from this place. It was all bad!! Then, during the night , more deception… the musical selection was poor and it was lacking fun, including the DJ. Las chicas estaban desilusionadas. I do not understand how the owner is aware of all of this and yet everything remains the same with no room for improvement. We are not coming back, hell no!!!

We reserved for 12. Arrived early. All good. When it’s time to go in someone informs us that our teens are not allowed. Surprising since there is nothing anywhere saying it’s 21+, but we adjust and the kids are happy to explore nearby on their own. When we are about to be seated the manager then inform us that bottle service is required ($300 is the cheapest bottle). None of this is posted ANYWHERE. Manager did not care AT ALL that there was no way for us to have known. Insisted that it was on reservation (I showed him the email where it was not). Anyway we left and had an incredible dinner at Salty Flame next door where the food was better the lounge vibes and the DJ were amazing and manager was hospitable and welcoming.

Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Policies and Poor Guest Experience I wish I could give zero stars. We were genuinely excited to visit this place and made a reservation under my wife’s name, Dayamis, for June 28th at 8 PM for a party of four. The reservation process online was smooth, and we received a confirmation email with no mention of any special requirements. However, upon arrival and after being seated, we were informed by the manager that there was a mandatory bottle minimum—either two bottles per table or one bottle priced at $400 or more. This policy was never disclosed during the reservation process or in the confirmation email. We were completely blindsided. After a lengthy discussion, we reluctantly agreed to purchase an expensive bottle of wine, along with food and cocktails, totaling over $500. We finished our meal by 9:30 PM, and our server mentioned that the entertainment (a karaoke-style experience) wouldn’t begin until 10:30 PM. We asked if we could take a walk and return for the show, and she assured us it would be fine. When we returned at 10:30 PM, we were told by the doorman that there were no tables available and we would have to wait until someone left. We asked for the manager, who remembered us and said we could wait by the bar. He asked us to wait outside the rope barrier and promised to escort us in shortly. We waited in the heat for nearly 30 minutes, watching other groups being let in while we were ignored. Eventually, we gave up and left—frustrated and deeply disappointed. This experience was not only misleading but also incredibly disrespectful. I’ll be posting screenshots of our reservation confirmation, which clearly shows no mention of any bottle minimum. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic is unacceptable.

Google
I wish I had read the reviews before booking. Once we arrived at Sala de Despecho, their manager, Santiago, was completely unprofessional and arrogant. He informed us that in order to get a table, we had to purchase one of their so-called “premium” bottles, with a minimum price of $300 — and none of us even drink the same thing. I find this to be a rip-off because, if they were truly honest, they would mention this when you make a reservation. For example, at Mayami Wynwood, you will be informed upfront. Good music and atmosphere, but the manager a terrible person.

Google
In summary: If a bar or restaurant is licensed to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises, they must do so by the individual drink and cannot force patrons to purchase an entire bottle unless they hold a specific license (like a package sales license) allowing them to do so and the transaction is handled appropriately. It's always a good idea to confirm with the establishment if you have any questions or concerns about their pricing or policies. If you fo not have the package sales licenses, you can't force the bottle onto customers. My opinion.

Google
My experience wasn’t the best. I went because I saw IG and I thought that the experience was epic. I ended up leaving before the show. In a matter of 1 hour our server came to the table at least 15 times. The pressure to consume was out of this world. They would take plates when we weren’t done. She would come asking the same question over and over to the point that all 3 of us felt really uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they train the staff properly. If you don’t allow guest to live the experience, it just become and over price taco spot. I’m very disappointed.

Google
Horrible experience. I saw one of the waitress hitting a girl and other waitresses fighting with one guy (1 guest vs 5 waitress). That’s crazy. I don’t recommend this as WHY they are hitting girls in front of all the people. They didn’t even respect that we were sitting in front watching everything. The site is extremely expensive and our experience was the worst.

Yelp
Es literalmente una estafa. No pierdan su tiempo. Todo lo que ven en redes sociales es falso. Van a tener que gastar más de 400 dólares para estar sentados y cantar con un microfono falso jajaja no gracias

Yelp
Don't waste your time going to this place. They make you buy 2 bottles of alcohol for every four people. They don't inform of this when you make the reservation. Bad food, bad service bad everything .

Yelp
The worst place!! I went with my son, they let is in and after we said we were going to get a 3000 (in pesos) bottle they said my son had to change or pay 700 pesos to wear pants. Mind that this is a beach Town. They are horrible and treat you based on how you look and not Human decency. As a Mexican American it is a disgrace to experience such horrible moment. I have been to the sala de despecho in Miami and we had zero issues! The class and ambiance beats this horrible place. Its so sad to think places are based on social class and not human vulue I leave a picture of someone entering with shorts as we are leaving.
