I’ve been eating at Salata for years and enjoying the salads and wraps that you guys always have available. I’ve been coming to this location for a while because it’s convenient since it’s close to home and gym, but I was very disappointed this last time I went to get my usual wrap and just seeing that a I got served a quarter of the salad mix I usually get (fingers amount); at least I still had the chance to pick some of the sides and paid extra for the protein, but I’m not sure if want to go back and pay $15 for a SKINNY wrap again.

This restaurant was outstanding, my wife and 3 daughters just had lunch there. Salad, and wraps. It was worth the stop great job to staff.

I haven’t ate at Salata in years and going today I see why, and I’ve definitely out grown this place especially with the better options of salad restaurants that the city offers. OVER priced with a VERY limited selection. I rarely had toppings on my salad and paid $20. I was about to just walk out and leave it there, but just made the thought to not visit Salata anymore PERIOD. Never again.

Healthy Heaven! Okay, so I fell in love for a few reasons: Cleanliness: Spotless, always. Staff: Super friendly and patient. Pricing: $10ish for a large, $8ish for regular. Not by weight so you can enjoy the toppings of your choosing! Choices: Everything PLUS SOME! All types of dressings, leaves, spinach, and salad foundations. When it comes to protein, you won’t be disappointed. Chicken, fish, and shrimp. I would highly suggest this place, and they even have cookies you should totally not look at because you’ll become a victim due to how soft and delicious they look.

I come here all the time, but today was different. lucia greeted me with such a warm smile and was just as nice as she was quick. bryan checked me out so quickly that my wrap wasn't even ready by the time i paid which is a fantastic situation! they both had such great service and definitely deserve praise for how amazing of staff they are!

Salata always has really great service. Initially, I thought paying so much money for a big salad was a lot of money. One large salad is almost 2 meals though. Great service, real good discounts and friendly staff. Do try.

As I walked in, I was greeted by a young lady who graciously took my order! All along the Food Line, everyone was so gracious to help me make my food exactly the way I wanted! When I went to check out, the manager was excited and happy to serve me and we had a good Conversation! It’s great to go to a place to eat and everyone there makes you happy and make you feel like they’re so glad to see you!

I used to frequent this place at least twice sometimes three times a week but got tired of fighting for lettuce! It’s lettuce!! One salad most likely pays for 5 bags of it so fill the bowl! Geezzzz…

This is one of my go-to spots. I tend to order the same thing each time I visit, and they consistently deliver. The ingredients are always fresh, and the toppings are neatly prepped and sliced, nothing feels rushed or sloppy. The staff and manager are always welcoming and friendly. I'm always greeted as soon as I walk in, and the customer service has been solid every time. That kind of consistency and positive energy really makes a difference. The seasonal fruit bowl is definitely a favorite of mine. It's fresh, sweet, and the perfect light addition to my meal. I appreciate that they offer something refreshing and healthy as a side option. Honestly, I wish I had a Salata bar in my own kitchen. It's just that convenient and dependable. This location is clean, reliable, and a place I'll continue to come back to

I'm clearly in love with this place. Healthy eating never looked and felt so good. Here is where I try all of the things I know darn well I wouldn't buy in the grocery store!

RE (my Salata review for the Weslayan location): Coming from an area where salads are not really popular, my experiences with salad shops would only be with Sweet Greens and CHOPT. Pretty similar set up, you basically go down a row of options and you get to make your own salad! YUMMY! In my opinion what supersedes my expectations is that I can have as many toppings I want to my salad without having to pay extra (i.e. with Sweet Green you can have an "x" number of toppings then you have to start paying extra). Additionally, there's just much more options compared to Sweet Greens and CHOPT. There are 2 different sizes, so order what you see fit, but since I love salads, I opt for the larger size and that bowl is huge! Salata continues to not disappoint. The ladies that work there are very friendly and know how to fill up your order. Do not hesitate to request more servings of each topping to your bowl because those scoops can be a bit small. I always gotta ask for 2 scoops of broccoli haha. I really wish they had the Ginger Lime dressing without peanuts :( because I always get the fresh herb dressing (which is really good), but it can get a bit boring and redundant. Otherwise, I love this place! I feel like a Kardashian eating my salads from here! Haha!

Disgusting Elena used her hands instead of the SALAD UTENSILS to put food in my container. I had to asked her to use the UTENSILS and not touch my food with her hands. Then she proceeded to rush me through the line although I was the only customer. I watched her closely to be sure she didn't put anything in my food. On my way out the door she and the male employee were looking and giggling rudely. I'm shocked they are allowed to work in the River Oaks location. Poor customer service

I like to sing fast songs but my fans love the BALLAD I like to log in but my password's INVALID I'm walking in the air with a Snowman like ALED And I like to go to Salata when I want SALAD Fresh greens are something for which we RALLIED And I like to worship Barbie if you'll let me be CANDID Anything she wants especially a tossed SALAD But she would never want me if I looked like DJ KHALED I wonder if my parking pass is still VALID I wonder if my voice could ever sound like KHALID I wonder why my d*** just got rock SOLID But I love Salata when it comes to SALAD This is the location on West Gray Street and I'm friends with one of the managers here and she's super nice. There are a couple of other really nice employees and then some really grumpy ones. This Salata is a mixed bag, because if you get one of the top notch employees and the salad is on a fresh day you can end up with a huge fresh salad. Other days you will get a smaller salad and it will be much less fresh. It's much less consistent than Weslayan, but gives bigger portions than most of them, so it's our second favourite within the city of Houston. As I've said before, since they sell salads, perhaps they should be called "Sell-ata" instead? I'm not sure, but $8 for a leafy bowl of green goodness is a good deal, especially considering how large these salads are, with unlimited toppings and all the goodies. Barbie is a big fan of this location and although I've only been here a couple of times, this will probably become one of our local go-tos because it's close to the house and not far from the gym - but I think I will always like the Richmond & Weslayan location better. Salata is an absolutely wonderful chain. Probably one of the best and healthiest that there is. One of the problems with this place is that they get way too busy and have nowhere near enough employees to cover it. On the other hand, they are very generous with the salad portions, and a lot of cute customers come here.

Yes, yes, yes. I tried this location first and they set the standard. Favorite location to date. The service is superior, the salads are made with care and are truly "chopped." Ingredients are always fresh. Take out and delivery are always on point. Great drink options. I also like that there are booths in the back if you want to sit and get work done. Have been coming for a few months now. Definitely recommend. Kudos to the staff and management.

As I have discovered in the past year, salad bars are no longer de rigueur. Essentially, Salata is dominating the fast casual salad sector of the local market in the absence of other alternatives. In the past, I could definitely say going to Salata was an easy, smooth process and the product was good enough to justify return visits. However, after my latest visit, the service was awful. I am only giving this location 2 stars for the product itself, and the service gets zero stars. I stood there in line while the salad line worker spent about 5 minutes making another woman's salad. But when it came time to assist me with my order, the worker began making it, then said nothing and walked away while my order was in progress and helped the guy in line behind me. She could have alerted the other worker on staff to help finish making my order or at least finish it and suggest the other worker go help the customer behind me. I also wanted to order two extra croissants, but my request was not acknowledged. And I found it really weird that the same woman who inexplicably walked away while making my order then came back to take my payment at the cash register. Fail.

Order two Cobb salads and received regular salads from Uber Eats. The Cobb salad did not come with bleu cheese or bacon. Paid extra for nothing. Also requested a croissant & didn't receive that either. Not sure how this passed a quality check.

So so so good!!!! First time back in a while! Fast service and fresh salad with probably every topping you could think of!! Decimo is the sweetest and serves his customers well!! Everyone here is kind too! Will definitely be back!

Salata must fo better. I enjoy their salads but they have to do better on the little details. Today, I arrived early and was probably one of the first customers. The bread was hard like it came from the day before.

I have driven past this place a hundred times, and couldn't figure out what the appeal is. It's salad. I finally went, and I get it now. It was really good. Fresh, tasty, and the staff is very nice. I will definitely come back.

salad Places in strip malls are a hard sell, but this place is clean and all the options are very fresh! Not a negative thing to say.

Awesome place for a great salad anytime. I have an everything salad bc it is literally everything in this salad from strawberries to olives so good!

Mmmm nope. Although the ingredients are very fresh; eating here can be very expensive and not very satisfying. Not to mention the hostility of the employees. They get very annoyed if you dare ask what's included and what's not ( forgive me for asking if the croissant was extra !!! It wasn't btw). If you dare ask about a dressing they'll point to the little tag and say , " it says there it's sundries tomato " .... ups ! I ended up paying 18 dollars for a salad with no protein and a Diet Coke. I'd rather pay more and go to a real restaurant. 1 star for freshness 1 star for convenience 1 star for the croissant - 2 for TERRIBLE service and price

I don't normally eat salad very often. but one of this day I felt like i need some green and fresh. and i went to one of this famous salad bar in the tunnel. i order grill chicken salad topped with some nuts. paid around $15.00. but very disappointed. not sure was the chicken or something else. smelt very fishy! and the taste was really making me sick. it's spoiled my appetite of the rest of the day. no! no more going back!

I didn't know It was possible to get an outstanding service at Salata! I decided to pop in after my spin class I was starving, mind you before that I went to check in on Marshall's it was perhaps 8:30 PM they were cleaning up and with a big smile, ask me what I wanted and was ready to start helping me. Usually when you go in a bit late somewhere you don't get that excellent service, and unfortunately at other Salatas I've never had that wow service but I sure did HERE! As well very thoughtful for asking if I wanted my sides in a cup, they've never asked me that before they just throw my protein in LOL I'm telling you its the small things! Veronica if I'm not mistaken continued having that amazing costumer service with other straddlers like myself! Thank you! I didn't even know Salata had a rewards program, she even told me about the rewards program while it was the end of her shift. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for an outstanding service, and of course bomb quality salads!

Thoroughly annoyed that I decided to try this particular location on a whim, when I normally go to the others around the city. My main issue with this particular meal is my ordering of a large salad, to go, and only receiving one container of dressing. It is a LARGE salad, one container is not enough even if you don't go heavy with the dressing. I have been ordering the exact same salad combination for over 5 years, in store and to go at various locations, and not once have I had to specifically request a second cup of dressing, especially to go. I mean, it's bad enough that these salads are 95% lettuce, the least you can do is comp a couple extra mL from your bulk bottle when you're already selling $$$ bottles of dressing @ retail. My second annoyance comes from the not one, but TWO shrimp in my salad that had not been properly de-tailed. The last thing anyone wants to bite into with a mouthful of (dry, dressing-less) salad is the unexpected tail of a shrimp. I will stick with my regular Salata(s) and avoid this one going forward, seeing as the employees here seem either too rushed or too careless to give proper service on a $13+ salad.

Super impressed I haven't been to this Salata for a while and I have to say that I was really impressed this time, Fast and courteous service. Smiling employees and very clean location. All super fresh ingredients. Parking can still be challenging though.

I usually drop by to pick up an order and leave so I'll keep this short and simple. - Parking: sucks because of all the retail stores nearby. I usually end up parking far away because 1) there are no spots close by or 2) I'm avoiding shopping carts because I don't want my car to get dinged. - Service: portion sizes are a lot bigger than the other Salatas around town. Can't complain. - Quality: fresh and clean. Thumbs up. - Service: the servers are polite and friendly. In summary, one of the better Salatas in Houston.

My first experience at Salata today was great, Thanks to Stacy! There are tons of ingredients to chose from, Stacy was super patient with me while I made my decisions and I really appreciate that. She has great energy, I will for sure be visiting again.

This chain is my all-time favorite right now. I didn't know they existed until six months ago, but once I did, they sped to the top. Expect to pay at least $10 if you want any meat or avocado on your on your salad. That might seem much to some until you take your first bite. The super high-quality ingredients and custom salad dressing will have you begging for more. I tried to make my own "Salata salad" at my house and it didn't even come close. Something's always missing that makes my homemade concoction not taste the same??? Anyways, not all salad bars are the same, I promise. Come here, then go to Super Salad or Sweet Tomatoes, which are 50% cheaper, and you'll see what I mean.

I went here a little over a week ago and I love the concept of the build your own salad like a subway. The guy that made my salad was great in explaining how the place worked. The place is currently understaffed, which they're working on, so just be patient. Minus 2 stars for how the women working the register that day was rude. I think she was about to go on break or leave for the day but her attitude was unpleasant. She wasn't friendly at all and kept talking to her male coworker. I love Salata but this location does not know how to make salads... I can to keep telling them to add more ingredients and then I could even eat it cause it was drowned in dressing. When I went to throw it out there was a pool of dressing at the bottom of the bowl.

I love Salata, just not this location. This visit is at 1pm on a slow Saturday. Every other location I go to has a smooth process for building your salad, as you go down the line. This one was back and forth between the ladies, skipping over the soups, the finishing toppings and crumbling up my falafel into my salad. All that while the lady at the register is trying to collect my money. They really need to stop and take a breath because their frantic behavior turns into a negative customer experience. Like I said, I love Salata. Thank goodness they have a couple other locations near here.

I know I said I am through with this chain, but I had to use a certificate. Staff were friendly and not frugal with the toppings. Lady behind me asked employee if the salad bowls got smaller. I laughed because I thought it, but she said it. Funny thing, one of the owners was ordering a salad and she felt the need to announce herself to the lady behind me. Lady behind me asked for more toppings ( certain ones) and she didn't receive any lip from employees. Honestly, I'm not sure if my dining experience was good because the owner was present disguised as a customer. My husband was just here a week ago and he said when he asked for more toppings (certain ones) the employee added more (frugally) as if she did not want to, but today they seemed happy to do it for the lady behind me. Then again, the owner was behind the lady who was behind me. Also during my husband's visit last week, another employee walked up and put him on blast indirectly while speaking with the employee serving him as if he was not there, but clearly he heard everything. Rudeness seems common at Salata's, and lack of consistency. Thankfully, I did not experience any rudeness today because this review would definitely be different. Parking is a headache but it wasn't too bad and I arrived around 12:30 pm. Even though this experience was good, but in my opinion only because the owner was present, and this experience does not change my perspective of these salad bars.

We have been to many different Salatas around Houston area,but this one by far has the worst attitude... they only give 2 scoops of salad dressing if you want more on your salat,, they charge extra $. And out of 10-12 salatas that we have been through, this is the only one that is ripping people .. We love the salad and salad dressing at Salata and they have a lot of variety choices for vegetarians, and hence the 1 Star, but they need to be more customer friendly... We live nearby this place and have been there a few times and had never had this issue before, but it just recently started and it's really pathetic, like they control how much dressing you can have on your salad

Such a nice experience! All the staff was super friendly. The salad was super fresh and satisfying. And the selection of teas and lemonades were so refreshing for summer!

i went to get lunch and Everything felt very rushed to ordering my salad Horrible and rude service ! i am so disappointed i got a salad and what a rip off ! MARIA!! was so rude it's not my fault that she doesn't talk english! she didn't even understand when i said stop while she was pouring the dressing into my salad it was disgusting i don't know but i felt she just wanted me to get out from there she shouldn't be working there if she doesn't like her job

Service is always enjoyable here, so friendly and talkative....thats is what keeps me coming back to this location specifically.

2nd time I have been to this location and I pay for things and don't get them! I had a togo order and didn't receive my roll or my cookie! And on top of that I waited forever to check out!!

The costumer service that I receive every night is one of the best. The shift leader " Veronica" as I've seen in her name tag. Is a great leader she makes feel special. Even if she isn't taking care of me she always asks how my day is going with a big smile. That little thing makes my night better every time I visit Salata at river oaks . I love their costumer service and I really prefer going in the afternoon because last time i went in the morning it's really fast but they just want to get you out of there but at night time they take the time to explain and they give you the opportunity to taste different things to make a great salad.

Such a fantastic experience! The food is so fresh and the folks who serve are so neat! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a cleaner and healthier option that won't break the bank. Happy to see the quality is still superb after the pandemic.

My daughter and I love Salata - the food - the variety of vegetables and that they are typically very fresh. We go there more than once a week. We don't always go to the same location - we visit the one in Katy, the one in City Center, the one off Heights Blvd and the one right past Highway 6 on the feeder off I10. What we don't like is the lack of consistency in the service - they can be extremely rude and often times distracted - talking to each other in Spanish - which they don't know I understand - making faces if you ask for a little bit more - because the amount they give you in one place can be very different than the amount they give you in another location. So I ignore their rudeness - I ask for what I want - because I love salads and I am too lazy to make them at home. But I sure wish the workers were nicer, more professional and that they quantity was consistent.

My only other experiences with Salata is via the location inside the Park Shops in downtown. I don't recommend that location *at all*!! They are stingy with the toppings and if I ask for more of an ingredient, they will add a minuscule amount. I'm stubborn and will just keep asking, "more...more...more please!" I can be just as stubborn as u, trust me!! This Salata location was such a different experience. The staff I interacted with were incredibly friendly. They gave realistic portions and made me feel like I was getting my money's worth. I picked up my salad after shopping at Marshalls home store. I had a 20 min drive home and I swear I was so tempted to crack open the container on the way! I'm glad I waited because it was a beautifully dressed generous salad. Very much worth the price. I will definitely visit that location again. =)

Service is horrible. I have been to different Salata locations, never seen any that has been so CHEAP to customers - half scoop of meat for regular size and only 4 chips in the bag - are you saving them for your own dinner??? $13 salad and I only got half of the size.

This is def my new favorite place to go to for "fast food". I'm wicked impressed with the large variety of fresh items and love how I can custom make my salad for an extremely reasonable price. Their tomato basil soup is tasty too! I am also impressed with the level of friendliness of the employees. It's very welcoming to always be greeted with a big warm friendly smile. I highly recommend coming here for a fresh tasty salad (or wrap)!

I absolutely love this Salata! I love to order online and pick up before work. The salad is always fresh and tasty! I always get extra cilantro and extra chicken and at this location extra means extra. A large salad is enough for two people, maybe three. The cream of broccoli soup is delicious as well. If you are eating healthy, low carb. vegan or vegetarian this is a good place to get a healthy meal.........and they also have cookies...if you've earned it :)

I am not a fan of paying $13 for a salad ( especially one that I have to decide how to make) and drink. The ingredients were all fresh and there was probably 50+ toppings to choose from which to me can be overwhelming. The garlic bread had no taste unless you think cardboard is a flavor. I felt pressure to choose my toppings because the line was growing so I choose to put so much in the salad. My eyes were greedy! I asked for the dressing on the side so I tried the buttermilk ranch and herb vinaigrette. The ranch had no real flavor but the herb vinaigrette was pretty tasty. So my take is don't put everything in your salad, have a plan, or go somewhere that has a specialty salad on the menu so I don't have to think.

I would have left a five star rating but the server angelic (I think that was her name) was very rude! I asked her for almonds and she ignored me,even after her co worker asked her if she could get them she refuse! The server in black apologized and served me afterwards.She was great,friendly and fast as it was quite busy. Other than that food was good

Just total goodness. So full when I leave Salata, but in the best way! So many choices to put on your salad. Fresh veggies, yummy proteins, clean restaurant. Just love.

This place is solid gold in my book! The salad bar options are plentiful, fresh, and dee-lish. I also had their tomato bisque soup, which was quite delectable as well. I will definitely be back to enjoy more yummy salad!

I've been in Houston about four months now and have been on the search for a decent salad bar. I've finally found it! You choose what size salad you want, you choose what goes into it, you choose your dressing, and you choose if you want any sides (bread, etc.). My salad, my way - tossed together by someone else. The best part? A large salad cost me less than $10! I will absolutely be visiting here again, and I recommend you do as well!

Salata is usually my first choice when I go out for lunch. I've only been to this location a couple of times when I have been in the area for work, but both times it has been extremely disappointing. They are very stingy with their toppings. I had to ask several times to please put more than 10 black beans or 12 kernels of corn in my bowl. Salata must train their employees to put as little as possible in the bowl unless the customer complains. I'm not going to pay almost 12 dollars for a salad that is basically a bowl full of lettuce with a few tiny bits of vegetables tossed in.

I had a wonderful experience at Salata. I am a very picky eater but Annie behind the counter was so patient, fun and helpful. There is such a large selection of items for your salad that it seem either overwhelming or like a kid in a candy store. I was extremely pleased with the food and service. I will definitely be back!

Salata has grown to become a major player in fast healthy food! This is the new location in River Oaks in the neighborhood I grew up in. It's great to have a place like this with so many veggie options!

If your into a healthy lifestyle or want a non guilt meal then salata is where you have to eat.i love that everything is counted (calories). I always get the large salad here and double protein because I'm trying t keep my gainz and stay lean. If your a Fit athletic member u get 10%off when u show your gym card. The employees are nice and everything taste fresh here. This is my go to spot when I can't think of anywhere to eat. I love that it's right by my gym so I can always go after my hard workout. I've had their wrap once and it was good but I prefer the large salad.

Not all Salatas are created equal. This location is THE BEST. The manager is always very friendly and they give the best portions of any other Salatas I've been to. My wraps are always bigger and more filling. I go out of my to come to this location when there are others closer to my work and home, knowing my wrap will be more filling and the atmosphere will be friendlier. Keep up the great work. Updated Apr. 2018 I haven't seen the manager mentioned above in a long time, the staff has changed, it's not as great of a place now. Moving on.
