excellent staff and modern services.I got great results here, thankful for the doctors and all the excellent people who work at salem health cancer institute. every body here has shown me great care and a real interest in how I am doing, always looking to minimize side effects and improve how I feel. I recommend to everybody if you have cancer this place is worth your time to come see for your self. I was told they are always excepting new patients.

I have been a patient of the Salem Health Cancer Institute since 2012 with my first bout of Breast Cancer. Now back since 11/2016 with Advanced Metastatic Breast Cancer in my bones. The people at the institute are so very kind and helpful! They have walked me thru every step of my treatments and went above and beyond in helping me with my finances. They have found me grants and financial aid and funds to help in every way. I am so very thankful to all the people that work with the Cancer Institute and the hospital! Dr. Prins and Dr Reyes are absolutely fantastic, wonderful doctors!!! I'm very fortunate to have these people and this place on my side. Thank you all!!!

I was told I did not have cancer and was referred to a gastro doctor at Salem Hospital. That doctor did a major blood study which showed I did have pancreatic cancer in stage four that had metastasized to my liver, lung and navel. Prior to going to Salem Hospital I had gone to the big center in Albany with the same pain issues and the doctor (diabetic specialist) gave me a blood test and said no pancreatic problems even though I had all the symptoms. I am Diabetic too so that’s why I went to a Diabetic Specialist. I made an appointment with a Diabetic Specialist here in Salem she sent me for a CT scan. A day later she called me with the bad news that I in-fact did have cancer. She made my appointment here in Salem where I was told no cancer by a top oncologist. I am being treated currently at Portland Providance Hospital Cancer Center. It’s a struggle but at least I’m getting care. I know it’s a long confusing story but I wonder daily how many other people have gone through the same thing ‼️
