Salem Lutheran Church

Pastor Frick is a phenomenal Pastor his messages always hit home. He truly cares for and knows his congregation personally. The music is beautiful and the music director is a true artist inspired by God weekly. A great place to worship

I rated this church 6 years ago, 5 star. We went to Easter Services at 10:30. It was the most people I have ever seen at a holiday service. A good sermon was lead by Pastor Frick. Also this was the first time I saw him in traditional robes. He usually is in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, which is his trademark. loved the singing and the musical program. I like to sing along and keep tempo to the beat. They had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. The field was wet so they kept the hunting too the facilities.

About a year ago, my boyfriend and I decided that we wanted to find a church in Orange County to get plugged into. The first time we visited Salem, we fell in love with the community so much that we decided to return the following week and never left. We recently completed the new member class, forming relationships with other new members and getting the chance to learn more about Salem's values, reaffirming our decision that Salem is where God called us to be. We have also connected by having the privilege to become leaders in Salem's student ministry. We look forward to our Sunday morning hugs from Pastor Frick and are so appreciative to call Salem our home!

We were looking to get connected with a church closer to home a few years ago, somewhere to find community, where the kids could be involved, and a good fit for our family. Pastor Frick had recently joined Salem at this time and the rest is history! My husband and I have been able to join small groups as a couple and individually, our kids love Sunday school, the worship team is amazing, and my favorite part are the Sunday BBQ’s which are always extended to the great neighbors of OPA. We Love ❤️ Salem!!

I grew up attending Salem Church. I went away for College and had not been back to Salem for many years. When I came back, it was amazing to step right back into the Church Family. Everyone is extremely kind and welcoming. My wife didn’t know anyone at Salem because she was from Texas, but now she absolutely loves it! Salem has been great to us and we will definitely be there for a long time.

Salem is a family friendly church. We came there because of the school and stayed because of the church! The 8:30am traditional service is excellent and the 10am contemporary service is inspiring.

A kind and giving congregation, amazing Pastor and sermons, awesome worship music. Jesus is first and foremost here. I truly look forward to church every Sunday!

We attended Salem for years and appreciated the opportunity to share faith. Salem has made it a priority to engage with the local community. Salem has provided opportunities for all ages/stages of life to connect and support each other. When you walk through the doors at Salem, be prepared to be a stranger no more! You will be blessed by the community you will find.

Both my daughters attended Salem from pre-school through junior high, and loved going to school there. We feel very blessed and fortunate that thru pinching pennies, we were able to give them the experience of smaller classes and teachers and staff that genuinely cared about us as individuals. They both went on to Orange Lutheran HS, where one is still attending and the other has already graduated. I am glad my kids had the chance to go to school in a Christ centered environment/education. I would highly recommend this school/church.

We Love Salem Lutheran Church and we really enjoy our new pastor, Pastor Frick! He is filled with joy and his energy is contageous.He shows so much love with everyone on campus but also in the neighborhood of OPA. Salem is my home away from home, I am very blessed to worship and serve here!

I first came to Salem when my boyfriend (now husband) brought me in 2005. I was not a Christian at the time. I could feel the Holy Spirit speaking to me through the Pastor. I was baptized and became a member in 2006. I LOVE Salem's services. The Traditional Service is a beautiful service in our chapel with beautiful hymns and more traditional liturgy. The Contemporary Service has STELLAR music. I'm SO excited about our new pastor, Pastor Frick! He is abounding with energy and joy and has connected with everyone on campus from our preschoolers up through our senior members. Salem is my home away from home, and I have been so blessed to worship and serve here!
