Salesforce Park

We used the gondola. The down trip , takes only 4. Strolers and wheelchair also used the gondola. There are elevators as well, within the Salesforce building. The weather was great, blue skies. We walked around. The plants had spectacular flowers. There are informative plaques with details on the plants and other information about the fountains and the fault line as well. The plants are well maintained.

One of the most beautiful parks in the city! Peaceful jungle in the midst of the downtown 🌳🧘🏻‍♀️I love their kids friendliness (storytime Wednesday and an amazing arts and crafts area) and a bunch of music events. Can’t imagine SF without this elevated green patch between skyscrapers!

Very unique rooftop park open to the public. The gondola was not working when we visited but the escalator and elevators were. Lots of interesting fauna and a beer garden with a large selection of beers on tap. An enjoyable break from the city below.

This elevated park is an oasis in the middle of downtown San Francisco. This park is a great place for activities and music during the Christmas holiday season, but it’s also beautiful other times of the year. It is calm and relatively quiet being several stories above the city. Take the escalator or elevator up to the park level. A fun experience is to ride the gondola by Salesforce Tower, during normal hours of operation. Salesforce Park sits atop the complex that would have been the transit center for California High Speed Rail. I remember the vision 20 years ago to have the bullet train stop in SF and folks could take taxi (ride share now), Caltrain, or bus to the rest of the Bay Area. What a shame that after billions of government spending there’s only a reminder of what could have been at the street level of the transit center thanks to our failed Governor Newscum.

Super cool spot to relax and run away from the busy city life. Located on a rooftop, has lots of interesting plants and the walk is pleasant. There’s security staff too so the place feels safe and is kept clean.

Salesforce Park, a park built on the roof of a portion of the new mass transit terminal and Salesforce complex. It's both wonderful and an example of tech bro egregious excess. Supposedly over 600 trees and 16,000 plants Take a gondola from Fremont street to the roof and you're in a garden mixing 100 year old trees, agave plants, bird of paradise flowers, monkey trees and fountains.

Salesforce Park aka “East Cut Rooftop” 😇a 5.4 acre public park on rooftop of the Salesforce Tower is consisted of 61 floors (height at 1070 ft) and the rooftop (roof height at 912 ft) that was built in 2017 on formerly known as “Transbay Transit Center” located on Mission and First streets in The City. [*Note: Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff a San Francisco native grew up in Hillsborough area in 2018 briefly opened up his “family room” on the top floor known as the “Ohana Floor” to the general public.] While The park is beautifully designed and landscaped runs the entire length of the Transit Center’s nearly four-street-block length, a walkable glass floor, a curved walking trail circling the rooftop lined with grassy lawns and benches, dancing fountains, a children’s play area, a main plaza that can host special events such as fitness or elderly dancing classes, and an amphitheater is said to hold 1,000 guests on glass lawn. This park is an absolute gem! It's a beautiful escape from city life in the center of the city. While you're still surrounded by the tall downtown buildings, and can see the cars rushing by in some spots, you're transported to a lush landing filled with uniques trees and plants from all over. We took the gondola up, which was not only a fun way to travel, but a great way to learn about the park and how they got all the plants and trees up there. I would love to ride it again just to hear all the facts again because it was truly fascinating. There's a short loop around the park that's about 1/2 mile, a coffee shop, brewery, playground, a restaurant that seemed to be empty, and lots of places to stop to sit to enjoy nature. Looking forward to coming back next time I visit the office!

This park was so incredibly beautiful and full of so many various plant and tree species that I thought I was in heaven walking through here. As an avid plant and nature lover this park absolutely took my breath away. I was like a kid in a candy shop walking through here. I'm so grateful I was able to visit this park during a work conference in the area. Every city needs parks this beautiful. It was so nice seeing all the people out there enjoying lunch or having an outdoor work meeting. I could have spent days here and if I lived in San Francisco I know I'd visit often. I loved how they had plants and trees with information about what kind they are. That was so fun to learn all about the beautiful greenery I was in. We walked the park once and that took about 15-20 mins I want to say. Of course we stopped and took pics and such, but this is a definite must see while in San FRan for sure!!

What a phenomenal public space in the heart of San Francisco. I was attending a work event and on a lunch break many of us found ourselves over here to take in the beautiful afternoon before heading back to the office. My group took the gondola up, though you can also take an elevator, and it was really fun to hear a little bit about the park while you ascend into it. I learned that most, if not all, of the foliage you see was fully grown elsewhere and then transplanted here so the park was well established from the onset. It's especially interesting to think about the amount of money it must have taken to not only build this place, but to source the many exotic plants featured. They have monkey puzzle trees which I think are some of the most unique prehistoric plants you can find here in the United States. At any rate, while walking around you can take in all of the many species of amazing plant life, people watch, and ponder the extravagance of it all. Overall, it's a great visit, and I think should be part of just about anyone's visit to downtown San Francisco.

A park in the middle of the city... on top of a building. I have been here twice on different trips to SF and it's still one of my favorite parts of each trip. If you're looking for a place to stroll and enjoy the weather, Salesforce Park is a great place to do this. They have this concept in many cities and SF is no exception. There are many ways to get up to this park- escalator, elevator, and even gondola! The gondola was super cool to ride up and was a short and sweet ride. I absolutely adore the plants that are in this park and love that they have descriptions of each. If you're looking for a bite to eat or a quick pick-me-up, they also have cafes and beer garden here. Overall, a great spot for a midday break!

Despite the fact that it's little weird to have a "sponsored" park, this place is a freaking gem. Salesforce Park offers a perfect sweet spot to unwind in the middle of a work day. It's a imaginative with some elements of a walking path like the high line in NYC, and has loads mature trees brought in via crane when constructed. It's also got some "end of year use it or lose it budget" elements with novelty glass gondola to carry you up to the top, which I have to admit is quite fun. The fact that this park exists is good, but the actual park is pretty great. One day we were having lunch they had live music, the sun was shining brightly, there were people picnicking everywhere, and several areas for kids. The walking path goes on further than I had time for, and is a good way to get an energy boost after lunch. There are also a few spots to grab some drinks; we went for coffee at a shop up here that was pretty good. Lots of benches, lots of tables to sit at, and the vibes are high. It's all good here.

This park was such an awesome treat after having lunch at Pie Punks! My lunch crew and I started at one end and slowly took our time walking and taking in this lush elevated park. Yup, it's about 4 or five stories above ground! There are multiple elevators and access points to this park that boast open grass areas, tables for dining, tons of fauna with ID signage, and even a few restaurants that are coming soon. During our walk there was live music for the lunch goers. This is such an awesome edition to San Francisco and a nice break from the nonstop noise and overly stimulating craziness of the SF streets.

Every city needs a Salesforce Park! During my recent trip to San Francisco I was looking for some space to unwind and clear my mind, and Salesforce Park definitely did that for me. If I had to describe this park it would be if "The High Line" in NYC and a botanical garden had a baby, this would be it! This amazing creation is about 1/2 mile loop (which is not a lot) and has some of the most beautiful plants you've ever seen. The park can get very busy with other people that work in the area but it never feels overcrowded. It was also nice to see that they had some live music and a couple stands where you could buy a something to eat or drink. From this park you also get some amazing views of SF skyscrapers and on a clear day you can see all the way to the bay. They have multiple entry points through the park so you can access it from different areas in the city.

What a treasure of a spot! A green oasis in the middle of a large business district hub. We had some extra time during our work conference over our lunch hour, and opted to all take a walk through Salesforce Park. There is a tram onsite that takes folks up - which we had missed - so opted to take the escalator up. It was still a beautiful ride! At the top, you get out to a stunning green space with folks eating over their lunch hour, taking walks along the path, and a myriad of beautiful flowers. What a perfect spot to get some outdoor time during work! We did a lap around the paved path, seeing lots of different plants and flowers along the way. It was so lovely to see how much open seating for folks eating lunch and chatting was provided in this park. Highly recommend!

Salesforce Park is your spot if you: 1. Want to eat lunch outside. 2. Want to eat lunch above the peasants at street level. 3. Love parks named after tech companies. 4. Love gondolas. 5. Love gondola security guys named John that are full of fun facts. 6. Love fountains that are tied to public transit. 7. Love plants and flowers and trees. 8. Love drinking wine outdoors, but definitely not during work conferences. 9. Want to argue with your friends/coworkers about gondolas vs. funiculars (this is a gondola). Basically, this is an urban oasis. It's five acres of greenery that is accessible to everyone (except dogs), with drinks, and books, and fountains, and grass, and a children's play area, and a half mile loop that lets you move your feet and take it all in. Come check it out.

Strolling through salesforce park was definitely a highlight of my San Fran trip. I rode the skyline up and was delighted so see so many types of plants and greenery. You can walk around and explore lots of different features and take in nice views. There's plenty of seating, restrooms, and water fountains arounds. Great spot for a sunshine break during a busy day.

Omg, what a gorgeous place! While on a work trip to San Francisco, a few teammates and I decided to spend our afternoon break getting our steps in and enjoy the sunshine. I'm so glad that we did. This concept is insane in the best way. When we arrived we were gently herded into a glass gondola that allowed us to look out onto the street and what awaited us upstairs. Once we were let off, we walked out into the most lush, beautiful park that I would never imagine being on top of a busy tech building in San Francisco. What a wonder! We took our time strolling around the park and were amazed by all of the beautiful, diverse groups of plants adorning the area. There were people laid out on the grass, reading on park benches, relaxing at the cafes in the center. It was like a romantic spring Hallmark movie lol. I wish that we had time to really sit and enjoy it because it was truly a beautiful sight to see and experience. If you have time and are in the area, you have got to check out this beautiful park!

WOWWWW!!!! Absolutely mind blown by this gorgeous park existing amongst the hustle and bustle of downtown San Francisco. I had no idea where we were heading until a colleague pointed it out during a long lunch break. Unforgettable experience for sure. You take the elevator up through the Salesforce building on Mission Street. Once you're off the elevator, you emerge into Alice's Wonderland. There are trees, and benches, and hummingbirds, and people laughing, and a botanical garden. It's pure zen in the best way living smack dab in the center of corporate high rises all around! You must see this for yourself. We enjoyed taking a lap around the park to enjoy the gorgeous day before heading back to the office.

This place was amazing! I've never seen anything like it. We took a little break from the office and took a stroll here and it was gorgeous. So many different plants I've never seen, there was some food and drink options, people were sitting everywhere just enjoying their food and each others company. It was such a unique spot. We got to take some photos and see some great buildings as well. If I ever come back to SF I will definitely come back here.

Finally got around to walking Salesforce Park after many years of living in SF. Was in the area for a conference and was grabbing lunch with the team. Had a bit of extra downtime before returning and opted to finally walk the park. You can take a gondola up (highly recommend) as well as an elevator. Gondola operator will give you brief history of the park. The park is two things: huge and gorgeous. Shaped like a really long oval measuring a number of football fields long. Huge diversity of plants and even food and beverage vendors. This is an ideal spot for an afternoon walk in the park as well as enjoying lunch if you're in the area. It's beautiful and you can get your steps in or even picnic. Dogs are not allowed.

The weather was PERFECT for taking a stroll after eating. The lunch lines at the trucks and stands around were utter chaos -- but that made it so the line to get on the gondola lift was virtually non-existent. I can count the times that I've been inside one of those and it was nothing short of fantastic. The park on top of the tower is like an oasis of greenery. There are tables to eat and it's just such a relaxing loop. It's a great way to get your steps in as well. I read the signs that explained various things, such as history, the specific greenery being shown, activities going on, and much much more. As you walk the path, you see various escalators and elevators that will get you back to the ground. And it's not super high, but the surrounding city looks really cool from there. If you're in the area and the weather is nice, you should absolutely stop through!

What a gem in the heart of downtown. Loved taking the ferry up and hearing all about the history of the park. So many thoughtfully selected plants, trees, and flora went into shaping the grounds. My group had grabbed some takeout and took it up to sit in the park. There was a band playing and it was pretty loud, but that is probably just the old person in me speaking. After we ate it was enjoyable to just wander around and take it in. We stopped to grab a coffee as well before continuing on with our day. A great spot to take a break and enjoy nature!

What a fun spot! I made it over here while visiting with a friend and had a while to take the gondola up, walk around, and take our time. I think my favorite thing was the fountains that shoot up from the ground are timed with the amount and speed of busses going underneath the park. It's a beautiful park above the city and is a nice one mile walk. They have a cafe and beer garden too.

So lovely!! This was my first time in SF, and I was treated to beautiful spring weather while in town. Salesforce Park is just a few blocks from the office, so myself and some colleagues decided to wander over during a lunch break. To get to this rooftop park/garden, you can take either a (free!) gondola or an escalator. Our time was limited so we went with the escalator, though the gondola would have definitely been the more scenic route! Once at the top, we were greeted with serenity and lush greenery high above the bustling streets. It was magical! There's a paved path about half a mile in length where you can wander the perimeter of the park and take in the various plants, flowers, and trees. If you find yourself in SF, a visit to Salesforce Park is a must! Really enjoyed this little peaceful moment during a busy week.

I visited the Salesforce Park last week and decided to take some photos there. I really enjoyed seeing all of the interesting kinds of plants, tropical trees, and flowers up there. I especially liked seeing the great view of all of the downtown buildings and skyscrapers from the rooftop.

A national park in the heart of a downtown? I'd never heard of such a thing! This isn't just a lil' park. This is a large space, with an even longer walk path. A quick tram or escalator ride up, you're immediately in a new place, where the hum of hustle and bustle dies down, and bird chirp, and slow paced conversation can be had. We enjoyed a walk around the path for a midday break. It was nice to catch up with colleagues in a casual space. The whole path took us around the space in about 20 mins max. Super cool it exists, and is labeled an official national park.

We went up with our friends and our little dog in his stroller. A worker came up to me in a confrontational manner without identifying himself, and demanded that I show paperwork for my dog. This is inappropriate in so many ways. His colleague later explained nicely that only service dogs are permitted, and that they cannot make exceptions. This makes perfect sense, and should have been how the first person approached the situation.

An elevated oasis amidst downtown SF buildings and commerce? Yes please. It's just about a 1/2 mile loop, and it's not so big, but a nice little escape. Take the gondola and hope that John is your operator. He gave us the 2 minute history of the park, as well as warm wishes and it was a delightful intro to this park filled with mature trees, foliage and ecosystems. The gist: Marc Benioff needed a park to coincide with his huge Salesforce building. Being the beast of a negotiator, he worked it so that the city, state and who the heck else knows, would fund 95% of it. All the trees were mature when planted and lifted via crane, so the park would be a beautiful sight upon opening. It really does look like it's been there for decades, not 5 years. There's a coffee shop, a shipping container bar/beverage spot selling beer and wine. I noticed some chairs, benches, and a little bit of open space to sit throughout the space, as well. Overall, if you're nearby, a must visit for a brisk walk and to take in a bit of nature in. A wonderful urban park.

Huge thanks to Steph Y and Paolo B, who suggested we take a walk over to Salesforce Park when I was in town for an IRL last week... I had not visited San Francisco since before Covid and I was admittedly nervous that the city had gone down hill since then. This was true in some parts of town, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this park... what a beautiful addition! As Steph mentions in her review, we took the gondola up and had John as our operator. He was a wealth of knowledge and shared so much information on the history of the park... it was impressive! We walked the loop and it was a beautiful day! I will definitely return on future visits to take advantage of the fresh air, greenery, people watching, and perhaps a beverage or snack as well. I need to take photos next visit also, so stay tuned. If you're in the area, don't miss checking out this incredible park!

I moved out of San Francisco right when Salesforce Park had JUST opened but wasn't quite as lush and luxurious as it is now. It spans a few blocks downtown, and there's several entrances, including the Transit Center. Hung out with my partner after work because I wanted a beer at Barebottle Beer Garden, then we walked around for an hour until dinnertime. I love this massive amenity in San Francisco. Great if you're looking to have walking meetings, generally get in your steps, or learn more about the plants living there. There's a cute plaza where events are held (there were dance lessons when I walked by) near a playground. I didn't see anything happening at the amphitheater this time. Can't wait to come back!

Salesforce Park is located in the heart of the financial district of SF. To get to salesforce park, you would need to take an escalator to the roof or an elevator depending on how you're entering the park. The park itself is full of greenery with fun descriptions of the different flora around the park. There are multiple areas to sit and enjoy the views. It's also super nice to feel like you're out of a city with all this greenery around you.

Really an oasis from the bad publicity of SF. Love the 4.5 football field park. Got nice restroom. Shade. Beautiful trees. Really great! No dogs. Small cafe Drumming and yoga on selected dates.

I loved this park! It reminded me of the Highline in NYC :) There's a cute coffee shop there, but the gondola wasn't working when we came :( Nonetheless, it was great for a nice stroll!

Hubby found out about this place from an ad at our Doubletree hotel. We decided to take our three month old for a stroll at the park on our last day. I'm glad we decided to check this place out. It was so chill, not crowded at all and clean. We used the gondola to go up the park. Yes, the park is located at the very top with amazing flowers and trees. There is also a place at the park that has beer on tap. I can see this place being very busy during the summer time. Definitely a cool place to check out when you're in the area.

A beautiful isolate park that is great to relax and get away from the city when you're in the city! I am not a local here so looking for a parking on the street was hard. This park is free to entrance and you can either go up by the escalator or the gondola which had a better view. The park itself is not that big but you can escape a little to yourself from the busy life in San Francisco. There are many benches and chairs available surrounding it. There is one drinks carts with many tables and chairs with games and activities for the kids. The restaurant is very clean so it was a plus.

I absolutely loved my experience at Sales Force Park! Hard to believe that it's in the heart of the bustling city as it is a much-needed oasis of calm and relaxation. The park is free to the public, making it accessible to everyone, and the added bonus of the gondola ride was truly a unique and enjoyable way to access the park. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and plenty of seating areas to relax and take in the scenery. I particularly enjoyed the variety of flora on display, from tall trees to colorful flowers, and the way that the park was laid out made it easy to explore and discover new areas. Overall, Sales Force Park is a wonderful place to visit if you're looking for a change of scenery or a peaceful spot to unwind. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable outdoor experience in the city. Five stars all around!

Finally got to visit Salesforce Park and I was definitely impressed. It was peaceful and clean. There is no fee to enter the park and there's a gondola that you can take to get up to the park. The views of the city from the park are beautiful. This place would definitely be a good picnic spot. There were plenty of unique plants and trees which I thought was pretty cool. There's a Barebottle brewery at the center of the park which a ton of different beer options. Near the brewery, there was also a few games people could play. There's a grassy amphitheater where they hold free yoga classes. There are dancing fountains that coordinate with the buses that drive underneath the park. There are plenty of benches throughout the park and they also have restrooms. There was also security around the park as well. I definitely recommend everyone visit this park at least once.

Finally got a chance to explore Salesforce Park located in downtown San Francisco. We went on a Sunday morning and it was relatively quiet and it wasn't that early. We walked the whole park from beginning to end. The park had a playground, bathrooms, many plants/trees, trails, and some cool sitting areas to enjoy and people-watch. They have a small cable car that you can take from down to up but not up to down, I believe it's free and it takes less than 45 seconds. Very clean too, with good views of the city.

Wow! There's a park up on the roof! Hubby and I visited the park on an early Saturday morning... the gondola did not have an operator so we used the elevator to get to the park. We took the elevator inside the Salesforce Transit Center. The transit center is a transportation hub, the rooftop park is open to the public... FREE of charge! All are welcome! The gondola is located on the corner of Mission & Fremont Streets. We walked the perimeter of the 5.4-acre rooftop park. The curved walking trail are lined with plenty of benches surrounding grassy lawns and dancing fountains. There is a children's play area and also an amphitheater. It's like a hidden gem in San Francisco. No dogs allowed (except for service dogs)... lots of trees, plants. Beautiful landscape all around including a habitat to delicate plant ecosystems. Still early in the day we almost had the whole park to ourselves except for some folks jogging and a couple getting their walking exercise. On the grassy amphitheater they would conduct free yoga classes, have noontime concerts and movie nights under the stars. There's nothing else like it anywhere... glad to check out the newest public park in the San Francisco. Review #2760

Quite a nice place in the heart of the city near financial district. It seems like all the big techs in a certain phase of their development they would want to build some kind of botanical garden, more like a oasis in the cosmopolitan world. Love the vibes here, everyone is having a relax time here, grab a drink, have some quality time with families and friends.

It's a nice place, but has a small play area for kids, so it's not a playground by traditional sense. It's Downtown San Francisco, so is unique but not convenient for most. It's a nice for a businessperson's lunch break in a serene locale.

What a lovely experience waiting for you above the city blocks that are filled with a fast pace moving vibe. SalesForce Park is a beautiful park that blooms with all paths of plants, trees, and flowers. It's layout is welcoming, relaxing, and accessible to anyone who wants to enjoy some much needed greenery. This place would be a great first date spot for an afternoon stroll on a clear sunny day. As many people know, San Francisco is a fast-paced city with nonstop hustle and bustle during all hours of the day. And when you're in the Financial District, it's a mecca of offices, retail establishments, restaurants, and everything in between. Which takes me to "Salesforce Park"; a man made, upper level park surrounded by San Francisco's dozens of skyscrapers and of course the tallest building in the city that is adjacent to this park, Salesforce Tower. Built in between 2014-18, this was a very talked about idea that eventually became a reality. It had replaced the dilapidated Transbay Transit Terminal which had been in operation dating back to 1939. This was a major transfer point connecting Muni and BART trains as well as buses in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. I remember as a kid coming here and hopping on BART trains throughout San Francisco and the East Bay to get a head start on my travel adventures. However, the early days of the Salesforce Park project had numerous hiccups including engineering issues with the structure in which it having cracked beams. This eventually meant it was deemed unsafe which delayed its initial grand opening from August 2018 to nearly a year later in July 2019. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, I had rarely visited San Francisco and finally made my first visit to Salesforce Park in October 2022. I will say that this place is truly a breath of fresh air. The abundance of natural grass, plants, and trees really make the park seem like an actual park. From a photographers' perspective, the amount of high-rise buildings surrounding this park is absolutely astonishing and breathtaking. Having been born and raised here, this city has changed so drastically as this really is aesthetically pleasing no matter where you're standing. Additionally, the park offers scheduled yoga classes, lots of outdoor seating if you wish to enjoy lunch on a sunny day, an amphitheater, a small playground for children, and even a Starbucks. This is a great area to track your steps and is ideal for walkers, joggers, and parents with strollers. It is also dog-friendly. Since the actual transit center is on the ground level, getting here by public transportation is a breeze. All in all, I recommend anyone visiting San Francisco to check out "Salesforce Park". It truly is a park like no other in the world.

Absolutely gorgeous park. Everything was nicely taken care of and it was pretty quiet for being in the middle of a busy city. There were a bunch of areas to sit down and little hidden ones. The little gondola ride up was cute too!

Such a unique and beautiful park in the middle of the city. The park is actually elevated 5 stories up, yes, you heard that right! It looks like it's floating in the air if you look at it from above. Have you ever been to a park that's not on the ground level?? It looks really amazing. I love walking around here and looking at the view of the city. It's right next to Salesforce Tower, but completely accessible to the public through a gondola, elevators, and stairs. For fans of the Salesforce characters, there are some topiaries shaped like Astro and Codey (the bear)! These are located near the 5th floor entrance to Salesforce Tower.

This park is lively. Music, good vibes & open spaces. Has access on both ends & in the middle. I believe this 4 blocks long. Has many species of plants & home to many birds. Views all around. Includes a kiddie park. There's different activities to do daily. There's a museum & bus routes/information. Dancing water fountain that follows the motion of the bus & bathrooms. Benefit makeup machine on the bottom floor & a gondola that takes you up to the park.

Such A Vibe. A roof top city park with palm trees and city views. I came here for the weekly live jazz band they have. I brought a book some snacks from home and just relaxed. Lots of Techies on their lunch break here from nearby businesses. I e been in the Bay Area for about 2 months and this was worth seeing. Parking: golden gate garage. 10 min walk $7 hr parking on weekday afternoons . You're welcome. :)

This is a great place to go on a walk! It's a beautiful park that's free and open to the public. There is a cool bus fountain, beautiful greenery and a main plaza with a cart of games to borrow. I think this is also where they host community events. There is also a gondola but I don't think it was in use when I visited. This would be a great place to take kids. There are drink options at a Barebottle which serves beer.

Wasn't expecting to see so many rare plant species that I've never seen before! Chilean Rhubarb, Monkey Puzzle Trees, and Ginkgo Trees... They have lots of seating areas with tables in the plaza and there's various benches all around the park. There's also a nice grass field by the amphitheater that is great for picnics too. KEEP IN MIND: There's not much parking nearby, only a few metered street spots near Fremont. Literally no free parking nearby that i could find. I wish this park had a garage or something.

The gondola park accesses to an urban rooftop garden with trees and flowers, play equipment, and cafe terrace. It's a peaceful mini garden stands out in the concrete jungle.

A botanical fantasy land located in downtown San Francisco... That's how I would describe Salesforce Park to anyone that hasn't had the experience to see this gem in person. Spanning four city blocks, this 5 acre rooftop park is home to over 600 hundred trees, and 16 thousand plants! The park also boasts the largest walkable glass roof of its kind in the U.S. as well as an offshoot of Barebottle Brewery onsite serving brews while you enjoy the views! There is also live entertainment, fitness and wellness events, and stuff for the kids to get into while parents sneak in a break for a snack or a sip of something refreshing like a coffee from Andytown Coffee Roasters, which is located in an adjoining building near the eastern end of the park. And mind you this is all up top, which you can get to via elevators, escalators, and even a gondola that you catch up to the park from outside of the Salesforce Tower located at 415 Mission St. There is more than enough me coming back for years to come, and a special shout out goes to the Rooftop Party crew, you know who you are... Miss y'all fam!

Surrounded by high raises office buildings, it is a nice large roof top park to relax in the inner city. It has a small children play area, a sitting area with books, and plants from different regions of the world. It is easily access by public transportation. Very clean and safe with multiple security personnels in the park.

Sorry but this is the worst sort of we-wanted-a-tax-break architecture that caters strictly to robots and soulless corporate employees and I'm so tired of seeing it pop up everywhere. Yes, this park has a cool variety of local fauna, yes this park is eco friendly and holds events sometimes, yes this park is a park and therefore better than just the bland mall structure built beneath it. But like, who is this ACTUALLy built for? Their extensive list of rules is ridiculous -- it's basically saying don't you dare be broke or young or a dog owner or somebody who enjoys actually spending time in a park. Half of the grass has "do not sit" signs, and all of their unmovable single-occupant metal chairs face out to the WALL. "Please enjoy staring into this blackhole reflection of nature and do not speak to the person next to you." It's dystopian bulls*#t! All this park really is is a human hamster wheel in park form -- a 15 minute loop made for employee lunch breaks that stimulates your senses just enough to feel like you're not on the "dirty" sidewalk while providing you with sterile nothingness that goes nowhere. Bleak!!!! One star for the nice variety of plants and one star for their surprisingly clean bathrooms. Otherwise I just can't believe the lack of soul in this place, make a functional park you people, good god.
