The 38 Best Berlin Restaurants | Eater

"Berlin’s small Georgian food scene punches above its weight. While you can count on pretty much any place focusing on the cuisine, Charlottenburg’s Salhino might have the edge, offering saucy stews loaded with fresh herbs and barbecue skewers with adzhika (red pepper sauce). The classics, like khachapuri and fat khinkali filled with meat or cheese, also stand strong. Don’t skip a tapluri (honey cake) or buffalo milk yogurt laden with nuts and honey for dessert." - Tim Forster

It was first georgian Restaurant we tried in Berlin. It was good choice👍🏻 Staffs were so kind. Suggested! Price is a little high, but this is normal for good Georgian cuisine you are looking for abroad. I love georgian cuisine and just Acharuli would be more melted cheese and half boiled egg(It is my favourite and matter of taste)

We have been in Berlin for several days. Have tried multiple culinary experiences and this by far was the best during our trip here (and we lived in NYC). Service fantastic, food was fresh and delicious. Recommendations were great. Georgian wine was lovely and would definitely recommend. The best meal we’ve had so far and would come back again.

Simply delicious! We had an amazing lunch there, they open a bit later for that (2pm on weekends) but it’s completely worth it! The aubergines are a must try! They are so mouth watering! The service is super nice and pleasant, they were helpful in giving us recommendations on what to try for our first Georgian food experience. I will definitely come back!

What a gem! The food here was excellent and we loved everything the staff recommended, especially the combination of Badridschani (grilled aubergine and walnut paste) and the cheese round bread. It was a match made in heaven. I also love the chicken bbq - perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The Ostri (veal in sizzling tomato sauce) was also very good and quite rich. I think it’s perfect for colder weather. Of course we ended the meal with dessert. We shared a huge slice of honey cake. It was amazing! Sweet but not overwhelming because of the citrus in there. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with their recommendation. I highly highly recommend this place.

We had an absolutely delightful experience at this Georgian restaurant! The food was divine, and the service was impeccable, especially thanks to the fantastic waiter. While the drinks may have been a tad on the strong side, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. We will definitely be returning. 5 stars!

Yelp
At home in Washington DC, one of my favorite places to eat is at a Georgian restaurant. Now I can do the same in Berlin. Salhino has delicious food, excellent service, and is a wonderful place to sit outdoors and chat with friends. Try some of the small dishes to share with the table. You'll be happy you did!

Yelp
I was looking for a decent peaceful place to have a late lunch at 16:00 on a Friday afternoon in Berlin. I stepped into a beautiful spacious place with high seilings, greeted by a friendly hostess, and had a wonderful meal starting with Hachapouri, which can only be described as the mother of all puzza's ( only cheese), great house made red Georgian wine, something you do have to taste before you leave this planet. I got Sacivi as a starter, cold chicken pieces in walnut sauce ! No review can describe the feeling this place gave me after a tiring day at the congress I am attending here

Yelp
I am afraid I have to report a very unpleasant experience with this restaurant. As longtime residents of this neighborhood and enthusiastic repeat visitors to Georgia; we went here with high hopes. These were soon dashed by the indifferent welcome, the 45 minute wait for even a first-course salad and finally, when we dared to ask how much longer the wait might be for the main course, a truly disturbing encounter with the owner. She began indifferently (like the waitress) then moved to hostile and finally abusive. We paid for the little food that we had managed to get and literally fled for the Korean down the street. Avoid this place at all costs.

Yelp
Yesterday, I tried Georgian food for the very first time and I must say I'm so happy I did! Especially at this restaurant! From A-Z everything was just perfect! My favorite: the Khachapuri!
