Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island (Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"With Vietnamese travel ever in the ascendant, it’s time to get familiar with a few more destinations. One of them is Phu Quoc, the so-called Pearl Island of Asia, a Singapore-sized island that’s to the west of mainland Vietnam and just off the coast of Cambodia. It’s home to everything we love about this country, from the spectacular white-sand beaches to the picturesque jungles, as well as some extraordinary luxury resorts — including, of course, the very impressive Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island." - Tablet Hotels

Smooth booking and confirmation, with helpful staff who even arranged Kid Club activities for us. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The resort is filled with art and photo-worthy corners, plus a 24/7 gym with great equipment. The big pool, including a kids’ section, is naturally filtered with charcoal and sea salt—no chlorine smell! Breakfast comes with sparkling wine and live piano, not a huge variety but excellent quality. You can enjoy stunning sunsets right at the resort, then dine at the Indian restaurant or High Note with live Vietnamese music. Staff are friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Salinda Resort Phu Quoc from start to finish. The booking and confirmation process was smooth, and the team even assisted us in reserving activities at the Kid Club, which made our trip extra enjoyable for our little one.||Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The resort’s artistic decor is truly impressive – every corner feels like a photo opportunity, from vibrant artworks to beautiful photography spots. The 24/7 gym is well-equipped with high-quality machines, and the pool is a highlight – large, with a separate swimming area for kids, and filtered naturally with charcoal and sea salt so there’s no chlorine smell.||Breakfast was delightful, with a lovely touch of sparkling wine and live piano music. While the selection is not huge, every dish is well-chosen and delicious. In the evening, you can enjoy the stunning sunset right at the resort, then try their Indian restaurant or High Note, which offers Vietnamese dishes accompanied by a live band every night. Overall, the food across the resort is excellent.||The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We truly felt welcomed here. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phu Quoc – and we can’t wait to come back!

A Truly Memorable Stay at Salinda Resort We had an excellent experience at this resort, highlighted by outstanding service and thoughtful hospitality. Our stay in the Premium Deluxe Sea View Room was both comfortable and scenic. Breakfast was a standout—sumptuous and diverse, catering to a wide range of preferences from continental to Asian and local specialties. A special mention goes to the Indian Chef, who graciously prepared Indian vegetarian dishes upon request, adding a personal touch to the buffet experience. The resort offers several engaging activities such as darts, board games, and a pool table. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a table tennis table, which would be a great addition to the recreational options. Across the board—from the restaurant and front desk to housekeeping—the staff were exceptionally courteous and always eager to assist. Their warmth and professionalism truly enhanced our stay. While the beach area is limited due to the resort’s close proximity to the sea, we still enjoyed a refreshing swim with our family despite the posted warning signs. It felt safe and added to the adventure. Another convenient feature is the availability of rental bikes right outside the resort, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing and well-serviced getaway. We look forward to returning in the future.

Arriving at Salinda on the complimentary airport pickup we were greeted with a lobby that was open, breezy and decidedly tropical in feel. We were given a cold drink while reception handled our check-in, which was done quickly, then we were shown to our room. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with a balcony that faced the street (which was hidden by some lovely thick trees, so it still felt private). Staff were always lovely, from the room staff, reception, restaurant and pool area. We were treated very well and felt pampered. The range of food at breakfast was huge, from western fare to different styles of noodle soups and the fruit and bread range was excellent. Table staff were very observant, watching to see when they should clear plates from your table. Our booking was a sparkling booking so we had a glass of champagne before each breakfast. Table linen was cloth, not paper, and there was always soft piano music playing in the background, but never loud enough to be annoying. One morning, we had a person playing the piano live, which was a beautiful touch. Salinda was never noisy and felt peaceful the whole time. It was a luxury stay.

Nice resort. Location is good, a lot of restaurants and massage places in walking distance. Close to the airport. The room and hotel is clean, but if you don't like the smell of wood, then it's not too good for you as the room and toilet are full of wood smell. Breakfast is good and with variety of choices. Three of my friends (one is a child) are not staying in this hotel and going to leave Phu Quoc at the same day of my check-in day and would like to stop by and drop the luggage in my room for few hours. The staff requested them to leave their passports to the hotel which is nonsense!!! If not leaving the passport, they are not allowed to go into the hotel room with us. I have never experience this before. Don't say it's security issue, how can our passport be kept by someone else?!!! What if you loss our passport or took the passport to do some illegal stuff? Poor experience ever!

It was an awesome experience for my daughter and me. The pick up van from the airport to Salinda resort was very helpful indeed. It saved us the hassle of having to find transportation. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and 4 small glasses of cocktail drinks. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The resort was just amazing. If you’re traveling to Phu Quoc island, Vietnam, try staying at Salinda Resort, you’ll love it.

Salinda Resort truly impressed with its amazing private beach and beautiful pool area—perfect spots to unwind and soak in the serene vibes. The rooms were thoughtfully designed to capture that relaxed resort feel—stylish, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with beautiful artwork adding a unique touch throughout the property.||||The breakfast spread was both impressive and satisfying, featuring fresh, delicious options that set a great tone for the day. For evenings, the on-site bar and restaurant, High Notes, served amazing local dishes accompanied by a live band, creating a wonderful atmosphere to unwind.||||Its prime location is another bonus—just a short walk from charming cafés, local markets, and city attractions, offering the best of both relaxation and easy exploration.||||All in all, a memorable stay that strikes the perfect balance between peaceful retreat and city convenience. I’m already looking forward to returning!|||| I strongly suggest you stay here when visitng the city.
