Amazing food! Our waiter, Francisco, was great. He convinced my wife to try the Baja Bowl instead of getting a burger, which she could get anywhere. Haha. She was so glad he did! Their fish & chips were absolutely amazing! The Tropical Cheesecake and Rum Flan closed out our lunch and did not disappoint. Our new favorite seafood spot downtown!

What an awesome pup friendly lunch we had here! I was able to make a patio reservation ahead of time, indicating we were traveling with dogs. They have a lovely open patio/restaurant table set up right on the harbor. We were seated and given both dog and people menus (extra points for the pups having their own menu!) Service was EXCELLENT , plus they immediately brought water for the dogs. We had the fish and chips, Baja tacos and the dogs split the “howlin’ good chicken” . Everything was fantastic and the fish/chips were the best we ever had with the Chilean Sea Bass. I would definitely come back here thanks to a gold standard lunch experience!

Google
Good food, good and friendly service. Good atmosphere. Food quality was decent, but not great Fish and chips were good, sea bass was good. But not great. We weren't blown away for $150 dinner. Desserts were ok... The Dulce De Leche cake was bland and lacked flavor. Tropical cheesecake was good, but not great.

Google
The restaurant is very pet friendly and even has a menu for the pups! The food and service was top notch. I was taken aback by the prices. Sally's was double the price of Tom Hams and more difficult to find. Being from out of town, we aren't used to the SD prices. Sally's was suggested for being dog friendly and they definitely were. Be careful choosing the correct parking garage, as they wouldn't validate our parking.

Google
Thank you, Fransisco! Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Parking lot, can be validated one of the hotel but you can park at the marina park as well for $7.50 with minimum 3 hrs. And dog friendly.

Google
I just paid $30 for a salad that was tiny, bland, and completely underwhelming. I added shrimp for an extra $12, and they gave me exactly three shrimp. Seriously? That’s $4 per shrimp, for what should’ve been a generous topping on an already overpriced dish. The portion was minuscule and the presentation was just as uninspired as the flavor. I am left feeling ripped off and still hungry. I don’t mind paying for quality, but this was laughably bad value. With so many amazing spots in San Diego, I won’t be coming back here.

Google
This place is a great place to go and eat they have a whole bunch of different types of things to eat that are all very good and the french fries here are awesome. I would highly suggest the wagyu Burger. All the help is very good and quick Care. Shout out to Michael brake service. It was so good we had to go back and eat again

Don’t get trick because it’s waterfront by Hyatt. July 3rd evening dinning experience. We sat outside, there were lots of folks walking by on the frontage road by the boats. Can’t see anything else but boats. View was okay only. For being the night before a major holiday like July 4th, they were understaffed, like they needed at least 2-3 more bodies to get things running smoothly. After we got our table, our server didn’t greet us until 5+ minutes, and only because he brought drinks out to a table next to us and said sorry but I’ll be right with you, and was gone for another 5. Shortly after we got our drinks in, another couple was sat adjacent to us and they too lacked the service, after 5 or so minutes they just got up and left. Throughout the 2 hours we spent there, we spoke to our server all but twice, taking our food and getting our check. No water refills, no anything else I can get you, nada. Food: it was a bit pricey but not overly expensive. I got the ribeye and it was heavily salted and my wild mushrooms and heirloom carrots was not salted at all. My wife got the cioppino and that too was over salted. It had one king crab leg in there but they did not provide tools to crack the leg, so have fun getting your hands dirty and poked while trying to get into the crab leg. Overall, food was meh. Seems like a new menu, new facelift per Hyatt so, I’d say stay away for now until they can figure out how to properly run the restaurant.

Yelp
Sally's is a great little place in Seaport Village if you're staying in the Hyatt. The prices are a little more than some of the other close by restaurants, but the food is always solid. Recent renovations also make the restaurant more open air and so it feels like San Diego, where you're sitting outside all the time enjoying the consistent weather. I went twice on this trip and the first time got the fish and chips, which was more heavily battered than I remembered it but very good. The second time we went, we got octopus appetizer and stuffed mushrooms. Because I've had a late lunch I got the salt roasted carrots as my entrée and it was a hefty portion even for a side. I also tasted brussels sprouts which were delicious. The highlight of Sally's is the bar. The staff is so accommodating will make any drink you can think of and are always friendly. You truly can't go wrong with this restaurant in San Diego.

Yelp
Oh, Sally's, how I love you! My daughter and I have been regulars here for years when we would come to the San Diego Comic-Con. The food is always amazing and they do a good job of theming for SDCC. I miss our old server of many years, Drew, but Jenn was fantastic! My Walnut Old Fashioned was the bomb. The Lost at Sea cocktail my daughter had this year was also delicious. My whole branzino was melt in your mouth good, my daughter's " Fallout burger ", a comic con special, were both fantastic. See you again, Sally's, at our next Comic Con!

Yelp
Food: 10/10 1. Clam chowder was so healing! I loved it. Stayed warm when I was eating outside so A+ 2. Shrimp and scallop aguachiles: 9/10. Sauce was more sweet than savory but still super yummy and good amount of spice. I wish there was more scallop than shrimp tho Lobster roll: 9.5/10!!! Super good just wish it was a tiny bit more saucier, just a tad dry but super yummy and filling and good amount of lobster meat! Service: I forgot the waiters name... maybe Alan or Alex or Sam ... but he was very nice and checked on us regularly 10/10 Ambiance was really nice, we sat outside so it was beautiful weather outside. My 3 times together was 93$ before tip. Pretty good for waterfront dining experience.

Yelp
Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The food itself wasn't the main issue--it was the service and overall attitude. The staff came off like they were doing us a favor just by letting us eat there. Super unwelcoming vibes, almost like they didn't need or want our business. Honestly, this place needs a full retrain on how to treat customers. Dining out should feel inviting, not like you're inconveniencing the staff. Save yourself the frustration and pick literally any other spot. Do yourself a favor--skip Sally's. Terrible terrible terrible.

Yelp
Sally's is across from the water, nice setting! We came for a nice lunch. The food and service were good but there are better options around. The Cobb salad was nice and refreshing, all the seafood cooked perfectly. The lobster roll was tasty and nice big pieces of lobster. The kids meal was KRAFT MAC N CHEESE!!! Had we known this we definitely wouldn't have ordered it! Also I seemed to have missed all the signs about the 6% service charge for nothing! Really disappointing way to end the meal.

Yelp
We had a nice dinner at Sally's. My husband picked this restaurant solely for the doggy menu and the view of the marina. Our puppy girl just turned 10 years old, so we wined and dined her! I saw a lot of mixed reviews, and was a little skeptical about what to expect. We dined on the patio, and really enjoyed ambiance. For starters, if you park in the lot on the left upon entering the marina, Sally's will not validate that parking. However, they validate parking if you park at The Grand Hyatt. The food is a bit pricey here, so expect a hefty bill if you plan on having a few cocktails. The branzino & swordfish were cooked well, and the sides were seasoned to our liking. Honestly, the star of the show was the tropical cheesecake. My husband said it may be in his top 5 cheesecakes of all time. Our puppy girl also enjoyed her surf & tarf entree. We always include her, and are happy they gave us a pup menu for her. We had a quaint evening at Sally's!

Yelp
Amazing food with the most perfect waterfront views. If you're looking for some elevated food in San Diego, this is the place for you. But fair warning, it is pricy!!! The menu was of course seafood forward which was the exact reason we decided to give Sally's a try. There weren't a ton of options on the menu but honestly, everything sounded delicious. We opted for the octopus appetizer. This was a generous portion and cooked to perfection. It was tender and not chewy at all. For my main, I settled on the swordfish. This is usually not my go to since swordfish can be a little dry but this was certainly not the case at Sally's. It was moist and flavorful. Another generous portion and you were able to choose two sides to accompany your meal. Everything we ate was delicious down to the desserts! If you're looking to splurge a little, give Sally's a try.

Yelp
We were exploring San Diego, on the trolley tours and came to this area to grab a bite because we were all hungry. As it was mother's day, Sally's had a mother's day menu which was nice! We decided to order just some light bites because we were planning to grab other foods to eat throughout the Trolley Tour. The guys ordered a beer flight, and I got a mimosa. Foodwise- My fiance and I ordered the swordfish, my sister and her husband ordered the steak and eggs, and my parents ordered the burger with fries and we got the oysters for the table to share. Everything tasted so good and I'd definitely want to come back when I come back to the San Diego area! Service was great and our total came out to $225. We noticed a print error because the menus said the oysters were $21 but their system was $23 so we got that corrected luckily before we paid. Great for groups and special occasions!

Yelp
Sally's Fish House and Bar is located next to Seaport Village and offers breathtaking San Diego Bay views making it the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful weather or a sunset view to end your day. Sally's just reopened after completing a full renovation that now gives a mix of modern elegance and coastal vibes. They serve fresh, locally sourced seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and the menu highlights seasonal ingredients, plus top notch service! I've been on the hunt for the BEST Fish and Chips, and it's safe to say, I found the spot! Sally's Fish & Chips included 2 large Chilean sea bass filets that were breaded to perfection and not greasy. We loved their kids menu too - such great options and the perfect portion! We ordered: Fish & Chips (substituted a salad) Maine Lobster roll Crispy Halibut Sandwich Kids Shrimp with Fries and Grilled Veggies Sail Away Mai Tai Follow @sandiegofoodie858 (IG) for more must try San Diego restaurants, date night ideas, and food experiences!

Yelp
My cousin and I were attending a Sunday night concert at the Rady Shell, and I was looking for a place where we could have an early dinner outside before walking over to the show. I made a reservation at Sally's for 4:30, as we wanted to take our time and get to the show early. It happened to be Mother's Day. The restaurant didn't look all too crowded, and we were seated right away. Our server was super friendly. Once she took our drink orders, she let us know that they were rolling from the lunch to the dinner menu so if we put in orders quickly, we could order from either menu. She did let us know that that our orders may come out at different times. Anyway, from that point on, service was downhill. Our drinks took forever to come out. I may have ordered another drink, but I didn't want to waste anymore time, so figured I would just get drinks at the show instead. I ordered a classic mojito. It wasn't bad, but a bit on the watery side. The ceviche was good, but very hard to eat given the consistency of the ceviche and the wafer cracker that it was served with it that we broke and used to scoop it up (see photo). For my entree, I chose the ahi poke bowl. It was good and fresh, but I've had better poke at some of the fast casual places around town. My cousin ordered the lobster Mac and house rolls, but they were out of rolls, so she ordered the truffle fries. I was a bit shocked that they were out of rolls by 5PM. Anyway, we were done eating everything else and ready to go by the time the fries came out. When they did, they were not really done, almost as if the oil in the fryer wasn't hot enough. The server was really sweet and realized their mishaps. The fries and the bottled water were taken off of our bill, which was nice. She did suggest that we give them another try on a night that isn't a holiday and isn't a show night. I appreciate her efforts, but also know that this restaurant gets a ton of business from being near the show venue, and the only reason we were there was because it was a show night. On top of that, the food was only OK. The location is simply beautiful, but unfortunately, I have no desire to return.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Water front views were amazing. Service lacked a little bit but it was all good.

Yelp
Great location by seaport pier with plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the water. I had the lobster roll which was delicious. Service was very friendly and prompt. My friends both had the fish and chips which looked amazing as well.

Yelp
We recently stopped into Sally's for some oysters and martinis and had a good experience. The oysters were good and the martinis were decent. I can't speak to the rest of the food though, as we only had this as a little appetizer before we went out for dinner. The restaurant was quite quiet when we were there and service was good, but nothing to write home about. I can't say that our server was friendly, but it was also early in the evening so they were probably just getting started. The ambience is quite nice as you overlook the water, but I couldn't help but feel that something was just missing in general from the restaurant. Next time I'm in San Diego I will definitely come back to try more dishes

Yelp
Best chilaquiles I've ever had. The birria sauce to dump on added that extra touch. The Sunnyside egg on top with the creamy avocado was nice. I ordered a hot cup of tea and I was happy. The restaurant was very quiet in the morning when I went. Most people are outside, while I ate inside. But sitting next to the window, the place was lovely. The staff was good, and quality was there.
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
So let me tell you about Sally's basically we came here to have dinner was very good. We had the ribeye steak which was juicy and fresh. We had a medium and yes, we had some fries with it and the salad. I don't know what salad it was. It was the $15 one and it was very good. I super recommend Steve was our waiter and he was great super professional would recommend going over here anytime super romantic, super nice and classy.
google avatar

Ashley L.

Yelp
Came here for a work dinner recently. Service was great for our group of 10! I ordered the sea bass with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Portion of the fish was generous, and it was cooked perfectly; just wish there were more asparagus and mashed potatoes. Their fries were also delicious (they are the flat, steak style). Their bread is also delicious--nice and fluffy with a good crust. We sat outside and enjoyed the sea breeze and people watching. They have large umbrellas for the sun and some heat lamps when the sun goes down. Personally, I would not come here unless I was expensing the meal just because prices are super steep. But if you're coming for a work dinner, the ambiance, service, and good are great.
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
Somewhat small menu, excellent location right on the harbor at Seaport Village, servers were great and attentive. Menu is slightly pricey- for what you're getting. I don't particularly enjoy going to restaurants and having to work at my food; a seafood cobb salad (around $40) came out like lettuce wraps with what I think was butter lettuce? The pancetta was a nice touch but I sat through a business dinner cutting up my lettuce for a salad with colleagues... so that could certainly use some help. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes for the most part but there was nothing that stood out food wise, except possibly the mushroom appetizer- which was tasty and unique. Probably wouldn't come back.
google avatar

Gsquared Hair S.

Yelp
Gross. There's nothing else to add but the review needs to be 85 characters. Disgusting pub food with loud bussing station in middle of restaurant - sounds like 8th grade cafeteria and not in a nostalgic way.
google avatar

Yelp
To quote the Humungus from Mad Max "Disappointed!". Haven't visited Seaport Village since they started the recent remodeling/destruction process. Sally's has gone through a complete rebuild. It's owned by one of the huge hotels around it. The new building and grounds are beautiful as are most of the staff. We went for an early lunch Sunday. The outside seating was uncomfortably loud so we went inside. The building is modern, clean and minimalist with all the atmosphere of a modern airport lounge. We had a nice table next to the windows. Service started well with drinks but it took 20 minutes for the designer bread to arrive and 30 for the octopus. Both were nice...not earth shattering but OK. I'm a Britt 30 years in the states but I still miss fish and chips...so that's what I ordered. My lovely wife had the tacos and my grandson had the swordfish. Verdict: Swordfish a bit dry but the marinade/sauce was good. Tacos...hard fail. No flavor, dry fish, bean slurry "disgusting" Fish and chips...mediocre at very best. Two small fish pieces fried in breadcrumbs rather than batter. The chips were the right size but dried out and not salted at all. We didn't have salt and pepper on our table and the one I stole was damp so didn't sprinkle well. After all that there was no interest in desert. Conclusion: Service OK certainly pleasant. When I questioned the unexpected 6% surcharge I was told that was for hotel residents but if I insisted (we weren't residents) the he could go get a manager to remove it came with an audible eye roll so I told him not to bother. Total One glass house chard one cocktail and the above food with BS service charge and tip $245. Overall...if I were hosting a corporate event to butter up clients the venue is impressive but limited tho the menu was it under delivered at every level. Not disastrously but way below I'd expect from that ambitious a venue.

Yelp
Went here while we're visiting SD for the weekend. The place is places of course so we sat at the counter instead, which was better since we got amazing service and quick too since we got a show to catch. The foods were impressive great, spot on and flavorful. The atmosphere was chill, friendly, with a touch of high end. Really enjoyed overall.
google avatar

Wayne W.

Yelp
Atmosphere of this restaurant is wonderful. Our food was terrific as was our waiter. But when the bill came, we saw that in addition to the tax, which of course is normal there was an additional payment titled surcharge. When a restaurant blatantly puts that on a bill, it is their way of saying that they don't like the government forcing them to pay their employees a living wage.
google avatar

Kysa T.

Yelp
I dined here for a late lunch with a party of 8 on a Sunday. We had to wait quite some time to be seated, despite there being many large open tables available inside and outside of the restaurant. One seated, it took some time for our waiter to come take our orders as well. I had the ultimate Bloody Mary, oysters and fish and chips. All three were good but just average. Nothing much to rave about and definitely not worth the price. The restaurant is in a very touristy part of town and the view of the bay is beautiful so I can see why everything would be overpriced. It was a fine experience but not sure I would dine here again.
google avatar

Roch B.

Yelp
We were a party of 4 on the waterfront. Watching the gulls, boats, the setting sun and the ninja skateboarders do their thing. Some people are put off by that level of commotion but it's all good, IMO, at least until large underdressed sweaty people huff by. Otherwise, this little perch by the water is where you want to be. The frosty IPA and strong gin & tonics were brought out post haste. We settled into those as our WEDGE SALAD came out. Crispy iceberg lettuce with giant bleu cheese crumbles, bold hunks of bacon and crunchy nuts and tasty dressing. Dug it. The main event was THE LOBSTER ROLL and THE PORK CHOP. Both were very good. Ride, Sally, Ride and let your mystery ship keep on churnin' out that delicious fare.

Yelp
One and done. The online menu without prices should've been enough warning. But, Sally's location and last minute reservation availability in the busy San Diego Seaport tourist area beckoned. Being from San Francisco, relatively high dining prices don't usually knock us for a loop. But, Sally's Waterfront Dining's prices were nothing less than OBSCENE. Our bill for two bowls of soup, one salad with addition of flank steak, a minuscule lobster roll with soggy French fries ($34), one glass of wine and a weak, ice laden cocktail added up to a bottom line charge of $196.00 (including a mysterious 6% "surcharge" which turned out to be removable after I never could get a clear explanation of its purpose or justification). FWIW, though some of the items (e.g., the soup) were adequate, the bulk of the food order was mediocre at best. I almost felt sorry for the decent waiter who had to serve the slop and then show you the rip off bill. At the bottom line, there are far better choices in that popular San Diego harbor area (e.g., Brigantine at Portside, Puesto at Headquarters). Even the chain Cheesecake Factory would be a more pleasing and reasonably priced option.

Yelp
This is our favorite dog friendly restaurant!! Our Golden, will actually attempt to drag us in as soon we approach. Great dog menu too! We've been coming to Sally's for years. Happy to see the same great servers, year after year. Our "go to" choices.... Seafood Cobb salad, perfectly grilled scallops and shrimp. Clam chowder w/their rosemary honey bread. Lobster roll with a generous portion of fresh fruit. Harvest salad with grilled salmon. We also enjoyed their Sushi but I no longer see it on their menu. My husband's enjoys their old fashion cocktail and I favor their lemon drop.
google avatar

DeAnna L.

Yelp
5 out of 5 Dog friendly, prompt service, excellent food and non-alcoholic drink options, the view is incredible, and people watching is entertaining! Sally's should have a higher rating. I see most people complain about prices. We did not think it was spendy. Dine out in Seattle, then you can harp on prices. We will be back when in San Diego!

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch while attending a conference at the Grand Hyatt. The pro of this restaurant is the beautiful location with harbor views. We weren't able to get an outdoor table, but the views were just as gorgeous from the inside dining room. Service was slow - it took a long time to get our server's attention to get our order in, and an even longer wait time for the food. We were rushing through lunch since we had to return to the conference. I thought 1 hour would be sufficient, but it's better to budget at least 1.5 hours for lunch here. Food was Just average and very overpriced. We ordered the ahi tuna burger and the catch of the day, both of which were good but nothing special. I wouldn't go back, as I'm sure there are other seafood restaurants offering same/better quality at a more affordable price point, with faster service.

Yelp
I wasn't as impressed with this establishment as I was with the view that surrounds it. Nothing really to complain about, the whole meal was just "okay" to me. Pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon around 2-3PM. Loved that their patio had big umbrellas to help ease the sunlight & heat. Our waiter was nice and helpful, but one of the people who brought our food totally forgot about us asking for utensils so we had to ask our server when he checked on us. It wasn't busy, so there was no excuse to forget that quick. Anyway, the food was okay. Ordered the crab cakes & the octopus for apps. Both were good, but didn't blow anyone away good. Then I got the lobster roll which is prepared the "cold" way and couldn't be prepared any other way. That was a pretty good & hefty sandwich, but it lacked flavor so I didn't really enjoy it. We ordered half a dozen oysters that had yuzu popping pearls when bitten into. We thought was a neat idea! The highlight of the meal was the dessert which our waiter gave high praises to! It was a really good Tres Leches cake. Super moist & soft but not overly sweet. 5/5 for that dessert. Everything else was eh.

Yelp
Wow, had the Blackberry and blueberry mojito and the fish and chips. The meal comes with 4 sauces and the fish was cooked perfectly. I didn't expect it to be so delicious! The view of the water is delightful and it gives a fun San Diego feel. The service was exceptional, Alex was gracious and very attentive! Loved this place.

Yelp
Updated July 2025 - This is specifically because of the bartender Ray - we stopped by to revisit Memory Road since our dog crossed the rainbow bridge. It was a special place for our family. They were in the middle of closing for the evening, and Ray may us felt so special. He recognized why we were there, the reason, and bent over backwards to secure us our favorite little spot with the fireplace for a quick drink so we could reminisce about good times with our doggo. Thank you RAY - that was a very nice gesture to us and Sallys has and forever will have a very special place in my heart. Long over due post. My wife, my dog and I have been going here for a long time. It turned into our go to spot right before Covid shut it down. We started coming back after about ramped up our visits much more recently and huge part of why we always go back is because of the service here. Specifically because of Philip and JP. W recently went to celebrate my birthday because it's not only one of our favorite places but also because they are pet friendly. Our dog had been diagnosed with a terminal illness which meant we can't go anywhere with out him. Because of their patio, the fire place and all the grass nearby it is the perfect place for all us and we are so thankful to everyone who made my birthday special. Thank you.

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick lunch after arriving at the airport. Was very happy, everything was great! Server was very attentive and kind. Caprese salad was fresh and unique. Ahi tuna burger was one of the better pieces of tuna I've had (outside of a fish market) Outside seating was a fun vibe too.

Yelp
For a party of 4 adults and 2 kids - $500 to get wrong drinks and food served burnt and half portions. For example my Brussels sprouts with my burnt swordfish ($55)...I literally got two halves (1) Of Brussels sprouts. It took an hour to get our entrees with the restaurant mostly empty. The Bloody Mary was tomato juice and vodka ($33) - worst Mary I ever had the displeasure of drinking. It's too bad because some of the items were fantastic (stuff mushrooms and crab cakes were great!)...though the octopus was delicious except for the burnt to a crisp tips. Overall? Never coming back here again. For $500 including large mandatory tip and service fees...I was utterly disappointed. If the food came right and not burnt + shorting us on the sides....maybe I would give it another chance. They DID fix most of the food but my swordfish was dry as the desert (at that point I didn't want to complain more as ya never know what you will get back from the kitchen). Just a disappointing dinner..they did make a discount after we complained so I appreciate that at least. They are friendly here as well. Gotta give credit where due. If they fix these issues, this place could be great.

Yelp
Revisited night before last. Shared crab cakes and fish & chips. A usual staple for most places. Good service as expected, and crab cakes were good also. But fish and chips? Not your typical cod strip but sea bass and were very tasty likely the best fish and chips I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Chips were above average as well!

Yelp
While visiting San Diego, Sally's Fish House was on my list to experience. Situated directly on the bay, the views were amazing to say the least. My choice was the 'fish &chips' for dinner. My first visit here, but I believe this has to be one of the best items offered. The fish was cooked to perfection, light and crispy, and the plate was prepared beautifully. I highly recommend Sally's, and a stroll along the bay to take in all the sights.

Yelp
Food: 5* Service: 5* Ambiance: 4* Price: 4* During a conference, a friend and I stopped by here for some seafood. I had the seafood tower. It had oysters, jumbo shrimp, crab legs, and mini-lobster tails. Wow! Everything was perfect. Perfectly cooked, plump, juicy, and tasty. Actually, writing this now makes me want it again. I will return.

Yelp
Very overpriced and small portions, particularly for the appetizers. It's located in a hotel that's on the water, so I suppose you're paying for the views and convenience.

Yelp
I was looking for a quick bite close to the convention center and stumbled across Sally's with a huge outdoor patio, it was lovely, simultaneously a Derby party was happening. The blackened yellowfin tuna with wasabi slaw & avocado sandwich was delicious, asked for it well done which they were able to do, def keeping this one on my list.

Yelp
This is such a good place to eat lunch or dinner in San Diego! Located inside the Manchester Grand Hyatt, it is a lovely spot with outside seating as well as indoor. I had the crabcakes and the delicious vanilla bean cheesecake. The rolls are fantastic!! The service is amazing and the views are breathtaking ! I cant wait to come back here!

Yelp
Very nice interior but sometimes a little too dark. Service was very good and attentive, our drinks were never empty. The seafood was delicious. The fish and chips were amazing with the fish having the perfectly balanced crust. Crab cakes were so good that we ordered a second helping. Lobster roll was just ok. Nice views of the harbor make this a must visit restaurant.

Yelp
Nice location right on the beach. We ordered salads, mine with a tuna steak and my husband a Cobb salad. The salads were quite good. Two major issues that likely will prevent our return. Number one was $27 for a tiny Tito's martini and I mean tiny, $27!!! Second was at the bottom of the check just above the tip line there was a charge stating "6% surcharge" When questioned, the server who was very nice, said something like " well, they do that to deal with the minimum wage going up" wtf? When i questioned it she seemed embarrassed that it was there and said that the manager would remove it, which he or she did. I told her that the $27 martini tab more than compensates for any minimum wage rise

Yelp
We found this place after spending the day at Lego Land. We looked a Seafood Restaurant and this placed popped up. It is located overlooking the marina. It is right next to the Convention Center next to the Marriott and the Hyatt. We were seared right away at 7 pm bug we did make reservations earlier in the day. We started with the Parker Rolls, Oysters on a Half Shell, and the Crab Cakes. The Rolls were slightly crispy and just came out of the oven. The butter they came with was perfect. The Oysters were fresh and not fishy at all. They were perfect with lemon and tabasco sauce. The Crab Cakes with mango salsa were perfect. We all shared The Brazino, The Chilean Sea Bass, and The Paella. The Brazino was light and soft. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent and came out on a bed of black squid ink linguini. The Paella was a hearty portion. It came out lobster tail. We finished with The Brown Butter Cake with Gelato. It was the prefect ending to a delicious meal. The atmosphere was upscale, the service was prompt, and the food was delicious. We would definitely return again.

Yelp
This is our go to place when the weather is nice and we want really good food. It's a beautiful place to sit at the tables outside and since it's next door to Seaport Village, the view of the boats docked and the people watching is excellent. We started out with drinks and oysters. The oysters are divine! And so fresh! Next we had their seafood bisque and it's the most delicious anywhere. Ordered the fish and chips, extra crispy and they obliged. Fish and chips were so delicious with just the right crispness. We ended our meal with their Crème Brûlée. It was, of course delicious. And almost the best part was we got our parking validated so free parking at the Hyatt! Made for a great day!

Yelp
We stopped by while visiting San Diego. I love that it is right near the water and you are able to walk around Seaport Village when done. The inside was nice and clean. We sat in the bar area near the doors since it was a hot day. The breeze coming through felt nice. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered a lobster roll, fish and chips, squash blossoms, and the seafood bisque. I have never had squash blossoms before and they were really good with the sauce. It was a little greasy. Like it was pulled straight from the pan to plate. No draining of the grease. The flavor was good I just wish it wasn't so greasy. The same for fish and chips. When the fish first came out it was greasy. Once the grease drained a little onto the plate it was so crispy and delicious. Again, I just wish they would have drained it a little before plating it. The fires were good. I was a little disappointed by the lobster roll. The bread didn't taste fresh and it was my least favorite. The seafood bisque was delicious and it was easily my favorite item. The flavor was perfect. Even my niece who wouldn't typically try it loved it. I would still recommend this place. With a few bumps with the grease everything except the lobster roll was so good. The batter on the fish was so crispy and stayed crispy. It was perfect seasoning. The fish pieces were big and filling. For my first try on squash blossoms it was really good and would get it again.

Yelp
While planning a friend trip to San Diego, we knew we wanted at least one seafood spot and we discovered Sally's Fish House and Bar! The location was right by the water, so I would recommend eating inside if you're going during the colder months of San Diego, but really pretty area! The waiter was really nice and even gave us a few recommendations, but I immediately knew I wanted the lobster roll. I thought the taste was good and it came with potato wedges which were perfectly crispy. I would be interested in coming back and trying other menu items!

Yelp
On a recent trip to San Diego we decided to come here for lunch as we had our pup with us and I had read about their elaborate dog menu. The restaurant is part of the Grand Hyatt Manchester Hotel but is located outside on the waterfront. This is a beautiful area to walk around with a dog and I can see why the restaurant caters to them. Although the human food I thought was good, there wasn't anything that was super memorable. However the dog menu I felt very different about. The extensiveness and variety of items made our pup so excited! They even timed his snacks / meals so that he wouldn't devour them right away and never was waiting too long for the next item.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the food. All three dishes lacked flavor. Shrimp ceviche swimming in coconut milk. Fries tested a day old. Crab cakes tasted like pressed can tuna. Do not recommend looks are deceiving and service could have been better overall.

Yelp
Stopped in after business meetings during the week. Glad I did. The meal was just what I needed after a week of bulk foods for conferences. I ordered the fish and chips and a gin and tonic. Both were excellent. The fish is Chilean Sea Bass, fresh, and it is perfectly fried and so golden and crispy. The fish was beautiful and tender, so flavorful. Sauces included the usuals: malt vinegar and tartar. The surprise was a tamarind sauce which was lovely. Steak fries were served with it. The gin and tonic was Empress gin and fever tree tonic along with some cucumber. A nice twist. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
