We had our wedding here on 8/23 in the Old Barn and absolutely loved it! The venue was beautiful, clean, and the perfect rustic setting for our special day. The park grounds are well-kept, and everything felt safe and welcoming for our guests. Highly recommend this place for weddings, events, or just enjoying the scenery.

What a nice place in the middle of the city. The farm is little but cute and very well maintained. A great place for an afternoon with little ones to see some farm animals and be in open air. And it’s free !!!

We went to see the sunflower field and were not disappointed. It's beautiful! Having never been there before we were pleasantly surprised with the property. We walked around the barns and were greeted by some sweet animals. It's a great place to spend 1-2 hours just enjoying the day. And fun for kids, too!

The area is very cute with well-maintained walking paths that I think anyone can use. The grounds are cute, with lots of flowers and other plants. My main gripes were not with the ground necessarily. We did the outdoor dinner experience at $80/person. Seating arrangement was super weird, it was longer tables, and we were elbow-to-elbow with strangers. It felt like a wedding haha The food provided was mid, and one out of two of us left hungry. Catering was not with Salomon Park, so we can't be upset with them at all. We figured most of the money spent on the dinner went to the farm, so we weren't too upset that the money was used for a good cause nonetheless.

Very nice place to go. Beautiful walking path and scenery. The animals are pretty nice and it's free. Fun for kids or adults. We went there on our date night and later brought the kids to see the animals.

This was such a lovely venue! I have to say that I was a bit apprehensive when I heard the wedding I was planning to attend here would be in an old barn on a 90° day, but it was so open and airy (four giant slide open doorways with big fans) that the breeze made it quite comfortable, considering the heat. It was beautiful all the way around and I loved seeing the goats nearby. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a venue with a perfect country charm and lots of history behind it. You certainly won’t be disappointed!

Yelp
We rented the Old Barn for our daughter's wedding reception. From start to finish, planning to event, the staff was helpful and informative. The space was perfect for our 110 guest list. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. The space is large but not overwhelming. We also added on the Homestead for the bridal party to gather to get dressed and store their bags. It was perfect! Do not hesitate to tour the facility and see if it works for you!

Yelp
they have hidden fees buyer beware! If you want to have a wedding or a reception in the old barn, they tell you you can buy additional hours for set up for a per hour charge. When in fact, they charge you for six consecutive hours. For example, it should've cost $160 extra for us to set up from 9 to 11 in the morning. But they charged us $480 and said that the "rules changed". Bit their contract, their list of prices, and every email I have from them states $80 per hour. Not a consecutive block. But they are ran by the city of Fort Wayne so they could care less. The supervisor has yet to return an email or call me back. Have your event elsewhere.

Yelp
This place has an amazing Summer camp for kids. This is my son's fourth year and he loves it every year. He has the responsibility to help care for the animals, learn about the farm, play games and do arts and crafts. It is also a very affordable summer camp. I highly recommend it!
