Google
Nice greek sit in or take away restaurant. Watchout would be, that there is not a great amount of inside seats available. But if it is good weather, there is also outside seats available. Great ! Food quality and variety was good. Easy ordering on a terminal. Would probably eat again at the place when I am traveling to Boston again by myself to get decent food. Not the place you go with a larger crowd.

Google
The food is always good. Good Service depends on how busy they are but today I ordered avocado with my salad for an additional $2 and I was given one piece of the avocado. 2 pieces would have been suffice haha. I ordered the same salad a week ago and was given the whole chicken kabob on stick. They gave me less chicken today and 1 piece of an avocado. Lunch break options and prices in this area are Unbelievable!!!!!

Absolutely loved eating here! The food was amazing and tasty. My brother and I ordered lamb and souvlaki chicken plates, which were well marinated and rich in flavor. Also, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff here were just impeccable! Would love to come back soon to try more different options.

Google
I've never tried Greek food before, it's my first time to try it. It was amazing!! Nice staff, Nice service, Nice food. Everything ia great! I really satisfied with it and highly recommended!

Google
The best Greek food in the neighborhood! The most delicious pita bread anywhere! A quick lunch during work? Try any Pita Sandwich or Salad. A snack to tide you over on the Freedom Trail? Try "Pita with Spreads" or "Zucchini Feta Fritters." Pita Sandwiches are packed with fresh veggies, tasty fries, and flavorful meats seasoned to perfection, with just the right amount of sauce, and never too oily or greasy. All surrounded by a fresh, soft, warm pita bread. Portion sizes for the Pita Sandwiches and Salads are perfect for lunch. If you have questions about the menu, or don't like ordering at the kiosks, the guys behind the counter are always friendly and happy to help. Seating inside may be a little tight, but in warmer months a large public seating area is just outside the door. Food is served on real plates with metal silverware if you dine in; while high quality foil-lined bags keep your pita warm for take out.

Google
It honestly has the closest taste to Middle Eastern Arabic food I’ve found. The food is really good. Portions are a bit small, but it’s still worth it. The staff were very friendly. Gabriel took my order and he was just amazing. Super kind, polite, and made me feel really welcomed.

Google
Saloniki looked great from the outside so we stepped in. It was a wonderful culinary experience. The flavors are really authentic and everything tasted fresh just like in Greece ! The restaurant is quite comfy and they're playing nice traditional music, so the whole set-up is perfect. We had two gyros, one of them veg, the serving size is exactly what you need. Fries were succulent too. Avoid peak hours to avoid the crowd. A little downside for them is that it looks a little bit "fastfood-y" whereas the quality is amazing.

Google
I went with my sister last weekend when she came to visit and it was amazing Greek food! The chicken is so tender it pulls apart and the pita bread with hummus is so good. The service was excellent and everyone was so sweet and helpful! The to-go boxes when you can’t eat all of the delicious food were so cute and everything was pretty clean the bathrooms of course are in a city so for the area they were ok. I can’t wait to go back this week.

Yelp
Incredible food. Fantastic service. I can't wait to go again! Can't say anything about parking as I was walking around Boston on this day but it was pretty packed in there and I was super surprised at how fast my food came out. Absolutely delicious! Fresh tasting. Didn't get a picture as I devoured it!

Yelp
Happy to say I've discovered my new favorite work lunch spot! The Caesar salad is seriously delicious and the crispy chicken I added is the perfect touch, well seasoned and a great crunchy outside. The Caesar salad doesn't start too far from the tradition but also adds red onion and feta! I've also had the pita and it was very tasty as well. I will be back for sure! The staff is also very nice.

Yelp
I absolutely love Saloniki - you really can't go wrong when you want Greek food in Boston. This was my first time in their Downtown location (I'm a frequent Harvard Square/Fenway/Newbury St flier), and it was great as expected! I ordered the Mt. Olympus salad with a chicken skewer for myself, and my girlfriend ordered the chicken plate with brown rice. We got halloumi share. Everything was delicious though the halloumi was a little hard and sour for our liking (seemed to be lemon juice) - but still great nonetheless. The waters and drinks in the fridge were also warm, so I had to run out to the convenience store for cold waters on a hot Summer day for us, but this wasn't a huge deal. They should definitely put some outdoor seating out, that would make this an A+ in my book.

Yelp
I recently ordered from Saloniki on Uber Eats. I ordered the Zucchini-Feta Fritters Pita , Crispy Feta Puffs, and Loukoumades. The Crispy Feta Puffs were delicious and came with a side of honey. The Loukoumades were unreal - we got the Dubai Chocolate. They tasted just like the ones we got in Greece. The Zucchini-Feta Fritters Pita was also amazing. When placing my order it was made in a timely manner. My only wish was that my food was warmer when it arrived, but that is on Uber Ears as my driver had another order to delivery before mine. I will definitely be stopping by in person to get the whole experience and try other dishes!

Yelp
I would give the chicken souvlaki pita six stars if possible. It is one of the most delicious and satisfying food items of the year. With several locations throughout the city (I've tried three of them), Saloniki is my first choice for quick, satisfying Greek food.
google avatar

Kenny P.

Yelp
Premium experience, clean and most importantly good quality food. The service was quick especially for a lunch break.
google avatar

Meghan L.

Yelp
I ordered Mt. Olympus salad which contains lettuce, olives, feta, tomatoes, pepperoncini, capers, cucumbers, red onion and grilled chicken. The chicken was seasoned well. It came with a red wine vinaigrette which tasted similar to Italian dressing, I added tzatziki on the side to dip my chicken in for an extra $1.50. I also added extra 4 oz of chicken for an additional $4.50. thought the salad was fresh but overall tasted like any salad, nothing special. I'll have to come back and try other items.

Yelp
I love the food here as takeout for a casual dinner night! Very flavorful and portion is not bad. Highly recommend it for a relatively healthy dinner and for convenience (multiple locations)
google avatar

Toni T.

Yelp
Salads are delicious...and has actual dark greens! The bread is soft and delicious and comes with three different dipping sauces which are all pretty good, too!
google avatar

Kelly H.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this spot for dinner. There was no wait (which was surprising) and the staff was really helpful as we tried to order. It was a quiet spot, which was a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Glad for the variety of cuisine in Boston!
google avatar

Tony B.

Yelp
Greek place with Latin music. Below average Greek fast food. The staff was very friendly.
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
The food is pretty good, though there are better options for Greek in the area. The real problem is the wait. Every time I've tried it, I end up waiting at least 10-15 minutes past the pickup window. I thought they'd resolve the issue at some point, but it doesn't look like it. At least a half-dozen people canceled orders after waiting too long while I was standing by the register today.

Patricia H.

Yelp
Food was amazing...so much so I didn't take a picture first! The spanakopita was soooo good and different then the traditional version. Definitely need to make a stop there!

Yelp
pros good customer service clean environment tasty food cons ummm sorry but i paid $16 for a few fries salad and ......one not two but one skewer of chicken are u serious for the price you should at least give two skewers the chicken wasn't even big pieces while the whole meal tasted decent and i understand the prices on food is going up constantly but gimmie a break. while having been my very 1st time in this place i don't think i'll be back all over one skewer‼not funny really and to top it off it wasn't even white meat it was thigh which i don't like but again it all tasted decent but for $16 dollars you guys are kinda cheap and you should probably put the food on a plate not a board where everything falls off it putting dressing on salad on a board plus the board wasn't big enough to put multiple items on itdon't go over well with me sorry

Sarah M.

Yelp
The biggest key to Saloniki is to order before you pick it up. The place is busy during the week around lunchtime. It takes at least 15-20 minutes to get your food for takeout, so it's not the place to come if you don't have a lot of time/didn't order ahead. My lunch was pretty good (salad with chicken souvlaki), but a small portion for the $20 (including tip). The service is friendly enough, and I could see everyone was working hard to get all the orders out. I might come back for their new greek fro yo.

Lampl D.

Yelp
-Good atmosphere, adequate service, food was absolutely average though, not pricey. ...
google avatar

Kiri C.

Yelp
Flavorful enough, felt approachable enough to someone who doesn't eat Greek food often, the fried chicken was pleasant and went well with the honey and what ever that pistachio (?) sauce was

Emily K.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly, which was definitely the highlight of my experience. However, the food was quite average, & it wasn't really appealing considering all of the Mediterranean places I've visited. I found a hair in my crispy chicken plate after I had put my leftovers in a takeout box which was fine but later when I tried their new Dubai chocolate donuts I chewed on something really hard (idk what it was but it looked something like a shell), so definitely not that enjoyable. It was good though, so I would probably recommend those. The environment was lowkey really loud & I could barely hear my friend, so I wouldn't recommend if your looking for a chill place, unless you want to go there early.

Ric M.

Yelp
I work nearby and frequent this place because of its convenience but I won't be returning. Today, folks seemed short on staff and I waited for about 20 minutes to get my food. That wasn't a problem although I was short on time. When I got beyond the 20 min mark, after it was clear that a couple of folks had issues with their orders processing correctly, I inquired about whether my order had gone through. The tall guy who is typically nice caught an attitude and was mockingly-phony pretending to be nice which was so off putting. Won't be going back.

Greg W.

Yelp
I'm not sure how this place is still in business (1 Beacon St location). We arrived at. 1130 am for lunch and I ordered the lamb meatballs plate with rice (17$) and a lemonade ($4). (All in $25 after tax and tip.) The person taking the order was friendly and very helpful. We sat down and waited for approximately 10 mins before my name was called. I was then told they ran out of rice. The worker was very nice about it. (Just opened at 11). I then substituted fries. Waited another minute before my food was ready. The plate arrived with 4 small meatballs, a small amount of salad, and a small amount of fries. An absolute rip off for the amount of money. The meatballs were decent and the salad was pretty good. The fries were below average. It would have been one star if not for the good service.

Yelp
Great to see this great spot come to the downtown/beacon hill area. I tried the zucchini fritters for the first time and wow, so delicious. The fries with feta are a staple, and the doughnuts are a dream. Staff is also super friendly. It is dangerous how close it is, I will be going very often.
google avatar

Jean Y.

Yelp
For a quick healthy meal, this is one of the places I gravitate towards. I love the warm pita bread. The lamb plate is my usual and this time I had the guys substitute the fries for the zucchini chips. Wonderful tzatziki for dipping. The service is always cheerful.

Yelp
$135.00 Door Dassh order delivered with ZERO untensils... The restaurants fault not the delivery person, thats very disapiinting and there is ZERO excuse for that to happen...

Yelp
Amazing! What a hidden gem. I am so happy I stumbled upon this place. DELICIOUS food. Kinda of a typical fast casual restaurant vibe but the food is really really good and filling. Highly highly recommend.

Yelp
I have only gotten the same two things since this place opened near my office: the chicken pita or the spicy lamb meatball pita. For the chicken they use thighs so its really juicy and I love that they have fries in there, the potatoes just add that extra texture and flavor (and no one is counting the calories here)! That spicy lamb meatball is just fire - in a good way. I am a lover of carbs so I have yet to try the salads there but I love both the pita (that bread is also super soft) and they pack it nicely so its quite a filling lunch (or dinner). I have also only experience the takeout there and they pack it nicely so everything is still in tact when you unwrap it at home. This is one of my fave lunch spots and I am thrilled its literally right next door to my office so I can place an order ahead of time and just stroll over and grab it. Also very friendly service! (I devour my pita so fast all the times I've had it but will be sure to capture a mouth watering photo of them next time!)

Yelp
Greek food is difficult to taste at the same way at USA like our home Greece but Saloniki Greek does a nice job. The chicken meal was delicious, tasty and the salad great. Only the fries were over burned and not fresh. We ordered also loukoumades/Greek donuts with honey and cinnamon. Please add more honey! The staff was very friendly and the place very clean!
google avatar

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
It's always packed and crazy with orders during the lunch rush but that's just a testament to their food. Unfortunately they are a bit of a mess with timing and orders going out but the food is solid.
google avatar

Catherine E.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for Greek - Saloniki is it! I was looking for something refreshing and the Zucchini Fritter plate served just that. It tasted so fresh and hit the spot. The Feta Puffs were delicious and a great shareable. Definitely going to be a go to from now on.

Yelp
SO good. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded, also was probably one of the only places we could find open. Food was amazing and it got to us really quickly. Great place to go with you friends to just eat and talk. Has a really modern feel to it- pretty cool place.

Dawn D.

Yelp
I just went in to place a cash order. No one came to take it they were all sitting off to the side chatting. They told me to plug it into the screen. I said I can't as I was paying cash. They said I still could, but when I did it turned out I could not. He said "five minutes." I gave them five and a half and walked out. Don't waste your time!

Yelp
On a Saturday night, we were looking for a quiet place to have a light dinner. The places in the North End were totally jammed, and as we walked to Park Street station, we walked by the new "Beacon Hill" Saloniki (I would call it Gov't Center, but...). We're eaten at their branch in Harvard Square, and had a GREAT meal here. We ordered the Spicy Lamb Meatball Meal and the Chicken Souvlaki Classic Meal. Both were A+. When the staff heard that it was my partner's birthday, they sang her a boisterous round of Feliz Cumpleaños and gave her a small cup of frozen yogurt to celebrate.

Aram A.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience, will come in our next trip in Boston .Friendly staff, amazing food and great atmosphere
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
The service is great and the food is on point. Do not sleep on the doughnuts. The Greek iced tea is AMAZING

David S.

Yelp
Friendly folks, clean new location between Beacon Hill / Downtown Crossing. Great food-- tried the impossible meat pita, and my wife had the lamb meatballs pita. We both enjoyed it a lot and will return to try more of the menu. Recommended.
google avatar

Jordana M.

Yelp
I got the frozen Greek yogurt and it was very yummy! My friend got the chicken pita and that was yummy.

Beth G.

Yelp
This review is primarily for their catering, although I also love grabbing lunch here or even picking up something to take home for dinner (although having to smell all the deliciousness in the bag on my T ride home and not dive in is a trial). We had them cater our office's Happy New Year lunch and the food was amazing. Everything is fresh and delicious, portions are generous, and they have great vegan and gluten-free options. It was easy to customize our order, and their staff (hi Esteffany!) were responsive and helpful. As an added bonus from an admin perspective, I can now go back in to their customer portal and access receipts for our finance team.

Robert J.

Yelp
They don't wash their veggies. Both orders from this restaurant were sandy. Please wash everything, especially the lettuce!

Trish L.

Yelp
The food is sooooo tasty! I usually get delivery and there are three locations close to me so I usually pick the one with the shortest wait (ie don't order Fenway when there's game traffic). All are consistent.

M N.

Yelp
So I have been a HUGE Saloniki fan since Jody Adams opened this gem in Fenway back in '16. Worked across the street and ate there constantly! It was amazing. I have Yelp reviews showing my admiration! Fast forward to them opening in BHill which I go to here and there... but it just hasn't been good. Today I went for lunch and ordered the soulvaki pita wrap. Every single piece of chicken in the wrap was completely cartilage and fat. Completely indedible (or take risk of choking...). The flavors are always good--that's not the issue here. But for a $17 lunch I basically had a lettuce and tomato w/ tsaziki pita as I couldn't eat any of the chicken. Had to set it all aside. I gave feedback when I was leaving for no other reason to be sure and bring to their att'n. The manager said 'well, it's thigh meat'. Um, ok? Thigh meat equals inedible? That's how you answer? So all I can say is Saloniki, you have a good thing, but don't let the quality slip!! I shouldn't have had the experience I had for a $17 pita wrap. Please do better!

Carolyn T.

Yelp
Their service is quick, the zucchini fritters are delicious & they give you plenty of food. It's really sparkling clean in there.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Tasty and fresh with reasonable prices. The lamb meatballs are supper yummy and their house made lemon yogurt is out of this world.

Karen P.

Yelp
i guess the 10% tip to make a salad was not enough. waited 35 minutes to get my order. they had to chop more salad!

Jamie B.

Yelp
Nicest people ever, great food. Very clean space and better quality than other locations.

Kaitlin M.

Yelp
The Village salad is not only the best Greek salad, but possibly the best salad I have EVER had. Sweetgreen who? The combination of flavors is unreal -- dill, herbs, capers, olives, feta, you get it. I've never written a Yelp review in my life, but I want to shout from the rooftops about how much I love this salad. Just order it, you will have zero regrets.
