Sal’s a traditional butcher. You can get great meat - beef, pork, etc and different cuts here. If what you want isn’t here you can ask Sal and he will help you out. I love that he is a no nonsense practical and super cool guy. Also hands down he makes the best beef sandwich ever! The bun holds the thin slices of impeccably seasoned roast beef, the sauces, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce and etc. I get it with all the works! My friend and I always mean to eat half and save the other for later but we always finish one whole sandwich each in one sitting every time!

Drove in from NYC and stopped by Sals to pick up some steaks for dinner. The beef you get directly from upstate farms is always unmatched and Sals was no different. Easily some of the best cut of ribeye I’ve had

I worked at the P.O. in this small town for about 2-3 months in the late summer and early fall of 2017 and I loved going to Sal's for lunch. The best and I mean the best roast beef sandwich ever 😋. If you love the bang for your buck and want the best sandwich (especially the roast beef which he makes himself) then this is a must stop.

Best sandwich you can buy in the lower 48. Everything is always fresh and people are always friendly. One of the last small town stores out there. A must if you're in the mood for one of the best subs you will ever eat, at a great price.

friends and i rented a place in bovina and bought a couple ribeyes from sal’s to grill. probably the best ribeye any of us have ever had. this was a couple years ago and we still talk about that time and those ribeyes. and here i am writing a review about it years later. i hope this place sticks around. whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right.

From breakfast sandwiches to ordering a pig from 2,000 miles away. Or even walking in and asking for 25 steaks cut to order. Sals traditional Meat center is on top of everything. Great customer service and top quality meat's, and to offer and an extremely clean establishment is also a Huge + . This is an establishment that i always enjoy coming to.
