This place is solid. They have added burgers to there already stellar menu, and the poblano one is popular and the one I would recommend. But, I plan on going with my old standby's next time (Tigs and Frankie). Great Jersey deli in Denver. You should check it out in the next week or two before the farmer's market ends (right outside).
Just went this weekend, so adding to it:
The food here is great, the drinks are good, and we really like going here. Different foods for different moods. Sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. They took the Tigs off the regular menu, which broke my heart, but they have a variety of other selections. The Frankie is a great sandwich and my other go-to. Always check out the special too. They have a HH I hear, although we have never been to it. Not docking it a star but it is odd service each time and seems a little disjointed. It is counter service, but they still pack on the post-pandemic 22% service charge. I get adding a 18% or 20% gratuity, but 22% is higher than the normal tipper and a little off. I had the Firestarter last time (pictured) and it was pretty solid. Worth checking out, and it is located on a fun street to go exploring after.
We just visited here again, and my rating stays the same. It is a very solid four. I am a Jersey guy and an ex-bartender. The Frankie is off the hook as far as product (pic below). THAT is a five. I think the potato salad is also amazing. We have had three straight visits where the service has been subpar. I am not a huge fan of counter service, but I need energy at least. They have not been uplifting my day, upselling me when gullible, or making the visit better. Know that these are not negatives, but I firmly believe from my past-hospo days of owning your shift. We have not felt that. The food is amazing, but I can't give this place a five until I have a great experience. Much love, all. I recommend, and maybe will see you there. If you go there, know that the Frankie and potato salad are the bomb though.
