Salt & Straw

I do love their salted caramel. It is good creamy ice cream. I tried strawberry coconut water sober. Split scoop in wafer cone. This is all complementary of the store and being Yelp elite. The line was long for that many people working. May be it was break time. The server who helped me was friendly and helpful. I took a light rail so I don’t have to worry about parking.

Stopped by the Salt & Straw at Pike Place and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I got a double scoop with Salted Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Coffee & Love Nuts, and both flavors were incredible in totally different ways. The salted malted scoop was rich, sweet-salty, and super creamy with those chewy, buttery chunks of cookie dough that give the perfect texture contrast. The Coffee & Love Nuts had a bold, smooth coffee flavor with crunchy, caramelized nuts that added the ideal bit of sweetness and crunch. Together, the scoops were balanced, fun, and totally delicious. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area!

Salt & Straw has excellent ice cream with amazingly creative flavors...and this is coming from someone who lives in a town with no less than 6 creameries. We particularly like that you can get "flights" of flavors, especially because their five monthly special/theme flavors are often unique/bizarre and so are sometimes hard to commit to a full scoop. But once we taste through the flight, then we go back and stock up on what we enjoyed most. One word of advice though. They made their name on their sea salt with caramel ribbons and to date, we have not had a flavor we have liked more. So no matter how good the other flavors look/are, make sure to also try this flavor.

Amazing service and ice cream!! I was there about mid day and there was no line and I was able/encouraged by the staff to try more flavours. They all tasted delicious!!

Great new location just across from Pike Place Market. This place is going to be crazy busy in the summer! Location is easy to find. Inside they have lots of space to stand and eat your ice cream, but no seating. There is free public seating just outside however. Staff are always wonderful.

Not a bad location right next to pike place Finding parking is a little challenging since I’m used to the location on capital hill Got coffee walnut and seasonal pumpkin pie tiramisu

If you like eccentric ice cream flavors and have an adventurous personality then this shop is for you. Great location in the heart of downtown Seattle, across the street from the historic Pike Place Market. If you're a local, visit now before summer 2026 otherwise, you'll have to deal with a soul crushing line come June-September. High walkability score. I took the light rail up here. It's really convenient since it's close to both Westlake and Symphony stations and within walking distance from regional bus stops. Larger square footage than their Capitol Hill location. Not a lot of seating but you can always check the First & Pike Public Space for chairs and tables or make your way to the Overlook Walk park and rest for a bit. The employee who helped me was really good about flavor suggestions. I didn't spend too much time sampling ice cream because I know staff can make good tips working in this touristy area. It was pretty busy. I chose the Chocolate Gooey Brownie. It was pretty good. Last winter I saw the red musical Christmas Truck cruising 1st Ave. Fluffy was hanging out near the Market too. Salt & Straw will fit right in bringing uniqueness, energy, and joy to this neighborhood.

How amazing is the new Salt &Straw, very if you ask me. I love having more ice cream options around Pike place. I can't wait for summer. We happened upon the new Salt and Straw this weekend are were pleasantly surprised with no line. It is located in the old Starbucks. It's clean and presented just as the rest of their stores. I love the vibe. The employees are helpful friendly and encouraging to try the crazy flavors. We of course tried all the seasonal and came home with two pints and the chocotaco. The taco was my favorite item this time. I loved the sauce that came with it. We will be back many times.

Salt and Straw isn't just an ice cream shop--it's a tailored ice cream experience that demands your full attention and palate! From the moment I walked in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Not knowing where to start, the staff recommend some based on their personal favorites. We ended up tasting ALL of the flavors and the staff's patience was nothing short of miraculous . Tasting all of their flavors might sound like a sugar-fueled marathon, but these folks were absolute champions, guiding me through each unique creation with the precision of a sommelier and the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store. All the flavors were all very good, so I won't recommend any specific flavor since everyone's preference will be different, but if it's not too crowded maybe try them all . I will say come with tim and come with curiosity, and get ready for an experience! Verdict: A must-visit for anyone who believes ice cream is an art form, not just a dessert.

Love coming back to try the unique flavors. Workers are so knowledgeable and friendly about sharing the notes in each. There is one table and a few standing tops if you'd like to eat inside.

Located across from Pike Place market. Recommend only coming during the day since and night it can be a scary neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful. Love that you can sample the flavor before buying. Had both standard daily flavors along with seasonal flavors.

Great staff and friendly environment. The salt and straw was perfect location right at the start of Pikes Place and the store has its classic Salt and Straw vibes and originality. I got 1 scoop of their limited expiring flavor and it was consistent and delicious. This specific Salt and Straw has so much space and room for you to hang out and theres even tables which isnt the norm so that was also a plus. Our server was so friendly and welcoming and gave us the samples we wanted to try. Ill definitely stop by here anytime I am at Pikes Place!

The new Salt & Straw location adds a charming pop of color to the corner of Pike Place with its bright red exterior, but it is truly the staff that brings the warmth. My partner and I sampled several flavors, and the wonderful gal assisting us was both patient and genuinely enthusiastic. She never rushed us and shared thoughtful little details about each flavor. It made for such a lovely and memorable sweet treat after our lunch

Huge, clean store with fast and friendly service, located right across the iconic Pike Place Public Market Center sign. Will definitely be coming here often!

I ordered the strawberry and coconut and the chocolate gooey brownie, and I loved it!! The service was amazing, Julian was really helpful and happy to serve! The ambiance is pretty nice and colorful. My dog motas enjoyed too!!!

Great new location for salt and straw! It's a big store right next to like place, so you can grab your ice cream and explore the market and waterfront park. The service was excellent, they let us try all the thanksgiving flavors before deciding and didn't rush us at all. Glad to have a new location close by!

One of the largest Salt and Straws I've been to! Had the Pike Place Sundae for opening weekend, super savory and a bit spicy from the horse radish. Great location for tourists and corporate employees around the area. Seems like the staff are still learning a bit but the service is still excellent. Congrats on the new store S&S!
